00:00And at this point, we will discuss an update on the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the go.
00:24First of all, ladies and gentlemen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is currently in Laos PDR to attend the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits.
00:35Our President and his counterpart attended the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly or IPA, where the President emphasized the importance of supporting infrastructure development, supply chain connectivity, cyber security, agriculture and food security, MSMEs, and climate change.
00:58IPA is a regional organization that supports parliamentary cooperation and dialogue with ASEAN members, along with the President, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, as IPA Head of the Philippine Delegation.
01:12The President and ASEAN leaders were also present at an interface with the ASEAN Business Advisory Council.
01:21Here, the President also gave the commitment of the country to assist the private sector to promote ASEAN initiatives.
01:30The President also invited the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, which is the leader in promoting the regional economy and supporting ASEAN business and biodiversity.
01:39This is a joint effort between the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity.
01:46Joey Concepcion is the Chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines.
01:52Aside from that, the President was also present at the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2024, an annual gathering or gathering focused on strengthening and deepening economic integration and collaboration in the ASEAN region.
02:09Here, the global leaders, CEOs, and key industry stakeholders joined to discuss the role of the private sector in advancing reforms in policy and strengthening the economic interconnectedness of ASEAN.
