00:00They were healthy, and it was just this overjoyous experience of everything's fine.
00:09I was handed Archer first, and at the same time, Christine was holding Ace, and so it
00:14was kind of like, we're just holding our grandbabies together.
00:19It was awkward.
00:20It's going to be awkward for a while, and I don't know what the future looks like.
00:26Our family, this shatter, this mess has gotten so hostile.
00:31Total civil war.
00:33I'm having a hard time feeling like losing respect for you a little bit.
00:40Hey, listen, you don't want to be this guy.
00:42I know you're hurting, but you don't want to be this guy.
00:56We're headed to see Tony McKelty and the new Bambinos.
01:22I'm so excited.
01:24When newborn babies come, they're so fun to hold and cuddle, and of course, everybody
01:27wants to see twins, because it's like, it's cool.
01:29They're twin babies.
01:30It's like extra special.
01:31So, it's dad and Robin's turn to come up and get some newborn twin snuggles in.
01:35Hello.
01:36What's up?
01:40Come on in.
01:41Hi.
01:42Hi, dad.
01:43Hey, sweetie.
01:44So, Robin was here for the birth.
01:45She got to hold the babies after they were born.
01:47She got to help McKelty for a little bit.
01:49I stayed home to watch Solomon and Arielle, to take care of them, get them to school,
01:53but now I get to meet the twins, and I'm excited about that.
01:56Okay, let's see.
01:58Who's who, dad?
01:59Hold on.
02:00I think this is Archer.
02:02You would be correct.
02:03That's right.
02:04Nice.
02:05You know my little buddies.
02:06Oh, so tiny.
02:07The twins are not identical.
02:09They're fraternal twins, and they figured that out really quickly, and so, yeah, you
02:14can totally tell who's who.
02:15One's a little chubbier.
02:17One has red hair.
02:18One's a little thinner, has lighter hair.
02:21Different personalities.
02:22Different.
02:23Different everything.
02:24She wants a hug.
02:25I want a hug.
02:26Can I have a hug?
02:27Oh, wow.
02:28Look at you.
02:29Do you want to hug grandpa?
02:30Hey, chicklet.
02:31Can I have a hug?
02:32Hi.
02:33Do I get a hug?
02:34Do you want to go to Cody?
02:35Hold on.
02:36Knuckles.
02:37Grandpa.
02:38I'm definitely happy to see my dad.
02:39I'm very proud to be a mom to these twin boys, so I'm very proud to show them off to my dad.
02:45So McKelty has actually been kind of in this neutral position, I guess.
02:49You know, a polarized family, but McKelty and Tony are still hanging out with us.
02:54I really like Tony.
02:56I get along with McKelty well.
02:57I see something very special in her.
03:00I think that Tony and McKelty are going to have a great time together, and I think that
03:06I see something very special in her.
03:08I think that McKelty kind of sees that there are two sides to this.
03:14I just think she knows more of the truth.
03:17I think she sees more of the truth.
03:19I got an idea.
03:22I should clear this with you.
03:24We should buy a big house in Flagstaff, and they can move there, and then we'll help them
03:27with the babies.
03:28It would be so fun for me to have a home that Tony McKelty could come in, visit, because
03:33it's hard to come to the house that we've got.
03:35All the rooms are filled.
03:36We have to move a kid to another room.
03:39Kids come and sleep with mom and dad, so that Tony McKelty can have a room, and then they're
03:42piled in all to one room with three little babies.
03:46And there's a house that Rob and I were looking at, and I thought that would be fun to buy,
03:50and we could have some kids or in-laws move in with us, you know?
03:55I know it'd help.
03:57You guys can buy a big house, and we would visit you.
04:01No, you have to have your own life.
04:04Hurry, open up, huh?
04:06Well, I always wanted this big family experience.
04:08I had this wonderful experience with my own family.
04:12So yes, I have the big dream of a big house with lots of rooms and lots of space, a guest
04:17house, and I hope that the place is big enough that everybody could come back at the same
04:22time if they wanted.
04:25When Cody is not doing his anger stuff, and he's more vulnerable, yeah, I can tell he
04:33misses it.
04:34He misses the family experience.
04:36I'm postpartum.
04:37I don't have any depression.
04:38I'm doing great.
04:39I'm eating my placenta, so it's lovely.
04:41Yes, that helps like crazy with that.
04:44I highly recommend every woman, just eat your placenta.
04:47The placenta is all of the nutrients.
04:51It's all of the really good stuff that helps feed the baby when you're pregnant, and the
04:57placenta is actually encapsulated.
05:02It's very good for you.
05:04It was incredible.
05:05I think it really helped through my postpartum with Avalon.
05:08It really helped through my recovery, so I was like, I'm going to do it again with my
05:11boys, and so far, it's helped a lot.
05:14Did you do it last time?
05:15Yeah.
05:16Oh, yeah.
05:17Wow.
05:18I actually ate my placenta raw, though, after Avalon.
05:20I straight up took a bite out of it.
05:22Really?
05:23Yeah.
05:24It doesn't have a taste.
05:25It's not like carne asada.
05:26There's no taste.
05:27But it looks like carne asada.
05:29But I did.
05:30I ate a chunk of it raw, and then they turned another chunk of it into a smoothie.
05:34I have a picture.
05:35I actually have a picture on my phone of my placenta, and you can see the bite mark that
05:39I took out of it.
05:40It's big, too.
05:41It's huge.
05:42It's like a freaking big flank steak.
05:46No.
05:47The whole placenta thing, no.
05:49I have heard people say that it's like super healthy.
05:52I'm disgusted by it.
05:53It's really gross.
05:54No, no.
05:55In no way, shape, or form.
05:56My first instinct was, that is disgusting.
05:59That's disgusting.
06:03But it's what all mammals do.
06:05I wish so badly I would have known about eating your placenta, encapsulated placenta.
06:11I wish so bad.
06:12I would have done it in a heartbeat.
06:14Okay, well, I'm going to shock you all.
06:16I was the first one to do it.
06:17And it was something my midwife suggested to me, and I just thought I'd try it.
06:22So, you know, I had postpartum depression with one of my children.
06:25It's scary.
06:26It's super scary.
06:27It's no fun.
06:28Oh, he smells delicious.
06:30He smells delicious.
06:32I know.
06:33Sweet.
06:36They always smell like breast milk to me.
06:39Well, breast milk has a lot of sugar.
06:43So there's this rumor that in the church, a lot of the sister wives would sit around and breastfeed and swap kids around.
06:52That is not true.
06:54I heard a funny story that you guys would pass around kids and breastfeed them in a big circle.
07:03We never did.
07:04That was just a joke.
07:05We never did that.
07:06Are you sure?
07:07Never.
07:08I don't believe you.
07:09That is not a cultural.
07:10We did not.
07:11That was a joke.
07:12I don't know why they disagreed to, but I definitely heard from other people that it was a common thing in growing up in your guys' church that you guys would just pass around kids for breastfeeding.
07:22Which mother's nipples hold out the longest?
07:25No, it was a joke.
07:27That's disgusting.
07:29I just like teasing my mom.
07:31If I love somebody, it means I'll tease them.
07:33It's just my love language.
07:35But I would not be surprised if that happened.
07:38I would not be surprised if that happened in any culture.
07:42Especially hers.
07:43My gosh.
07:44I'm just saying.
07:46I've only ever breastfed my kids.
07:48Ever.
07:49I promise.
07:50I've only ever breastfed my kids too.
07:52That's because you didn't love polygamy.
07:54I actually breastfed one of our kids that was not my own child.
07:59And that was something that was kind of medically necessary at the time.
08:05But it wasn't something that we did on a regular basis just for fun, just for kicks and giggles.
08:12Yeah, I've never breastfed another baby.
08:15No.
08:16I never had enough milk.
08:18I would have been hard-pressed to do that.
08:21Yeah, it's true.
08:23It's true.
08:24Women would breastfeed each other's babies.
08:32In our culture, I've seen it plenty of times.
08:34Absolutely.
08:36It's not like, oh, let's turn.
08:38It's not like musical babies.
08:39It's not like that.
08:41It's more of necessity and help and community of women being supportive to each other about their children and stuff.
08:51Cutest little ears.
08:52Look at those cute little ears.
08:54He's got the cutest ears.
08:56Look at him.
08:57Look at your daddy.
08:58He's crying.
08:59He's kidding.
09:00It's just fun to see him.
09:02It's fun to have the babies.
09:04While Christine and I have been breaking up, me and McKelty have been healing.
09:08It's special to have this time with them.
09:13I must actually be done having babies because I'm excited about these ones, really big.
09:1718 kids later.
09:19Oh, such sweet little boys.
09:21McKelty's relationship with Cody is she's not afraid to ask what she needs to ask for.
09:26I'm really glad.
09:28Robin has a close bond with all of them, Avalon, Ace, and Archer.
09:32And then Cody needs to have a close bond with them, too.
09:35All the kids just need to take an example out of McKelty's book.
09:38She's not afraid to ask for what she needs.
09:40It's amazing.
09:46COVID caused a lot of problems for a lot of people.
09:48But those relationships had the fortitude to survive.
09:52Those relationships survived.
09:55And he's like, something like, you're not loyal, just like your mother.
09:59And I was like, okay.
10:01It's so interesting because Cody throws around this, like, you're not loyal, you don't respect me.
10:04And I'm like, I'm thinking that's a two-way street, buddy.
10:10Return to Hogwarts and discover every story.
10:26It's a terrible way to pray. Sorry.
10:28So I've been on a date a couple of times with David.
10:31I met him online, and on our first date, we hit it off really, really well.
10:36And you have to see, we look adorable together.
10:38I'm just going to show you. This is our second date.
10:41Look. It's cute.
10:44David and I have gone out twice now. I told him everything.
10:47Polygamy background, I told him everything.
10:51And anyway, he goes, oh, okay.
10:53He goes, I know about polygamy. My sisters live polygamy.
10:56And I'm like, do you want to live polygamy?
11:00And he's like, no. Gosh, no. I'm not interested in that.
11:04Like, whew.
11:06I was so nervous. I didn't sleep at all the night before I told him.
11:10But he was great with it.
11:12So I don't have to explain polygamy, which is great.
11:14Because sometimes you explain polygamy, and guys think you have loose morals.
11:17And then they think that you're going to be interested in their open marriages.
11:20It's like, no, no, no. That's not the situation.
11:23It's super fun. It's a fun conversation.
11:26God, he's just solid. And he's real. Real, genuine.
11:30And I got to just be me.
11:32And he really liked me for me. I could tell.
11:36When I met Cody and married Cody, we had a very different relationship.
11:40He was already married, and I wanted to be respectful of that.
11:43So we'd talk on the phone.
11:46And we were good friends before we got married.
11:48But it's not like this giggly, fun, like, it's really solid.
11:55Like, he's a really, really good guy.
11:59He hasn't made any, like, physical gestures of being attracted to me.
12:04He didn't hold my hand on the second date.
12:06And we didn't kiss on the second date.
12:08But this is only the second date. I get that. But still.
12:10So anyway, before things progress anymore,
12:13I need to have a conversation with him about, you know, is he attracted to me?
12:17Is he attracted to me?
