Transcript
00:00Hello there. It's been a largely dry weekend so far and for many the weather is set to stay
00:04fine through this afternoon. It's all down to an area of high pressure that's dominating the UK
00:10and that will stay in place over the next few days. Weather fronts will initially be deflected
00:14towards the northwest of the UK but as we go towards the end of the week it will gradually
00:18turn a bit more unsettled and there will be an increasing chance of some rain pushing south
00:23eastwards. Back to Sunday afternoon though and for most of the country it's another dry picture.
00:28The best of the sunshine will be further south. There is more than a way of cloud in general
00:33around compared to Saturday afternoon and that cloud's bringing a few showers along some north
00:37sea coasts of England and more widely across parts of Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland.
00:43Most of these light and it will be a relatively cool day for the time of year but a little bit
00:47warmer than yesterday perhaps reaching 20 degrees celsius in one or two spots.
00:53Through Sunday evening it stays largely dry for the most. There'll be a feed of showers coming
00:57down into northwestern parts of England, parts of Wales and the odd one will crop up elsewhere too
01:02but overnight some lengthy clear spells are also likely particularly the further south you are and
01:07across northern and northeastern parts of Scotland too. The odd mist and fog patch developing perhaps
01:12most likely towards southwestern parts of England and rurally we could see temperatures fall as low
01:17as one or two celsius giving a touch of frost in a few spots. On Monday we see more in a way of
01:23cloud in general across the UK but there will be some areas where we see some sunshine most likely
01:29down towards the southwest of England, northern parts of Scotland and perhaps also some eastern
01:33counties of England. Thicker cloud across Wales, western parts of Scotland will bring a few outbreaks
01:40of rain or showers at times but there will also be some dry spells as well and temperatures will
01:45be a little bit higher than over the weekend rising to around 20 degrees celsius which is
01:48around average for the time of year. It stays mostly dry through Tuesday, there'll be some
01:53bright or sunny spells at times and temperatures staying around average. Remember that you can
