00:00Hello and welcome to your latest weather update from the Met Office.
00:04Sunday will be a settled day with light winds and variable amounts of cloud,
00:09though there will be some sunny spells also, particularly in the west.
00:13Though a band of light rain and drizzle will affect the far north-east later.
00:17But back to tonight's weather.
00:19After a rather gloomy day for many, cloud will persist across central and southern parts of England,
00:25with a chance of some localised mist and fog patches, particularly in the east.
00:29Across northern England and parts of Scotland, skies will clear tonight, allowing for a localised frost.
00:35Though elsewhere, under cloudier skies, temperatures will remain around 4 or 5.
00:40Looking ahead to Sunday's weather, a band of light rain and drizzle
00:44will push into far north-eastern parts of Scotland through the morning,
00:48and this will mark a change to cooler and clearer conditions.
00:51Elsewhere, it will be mostly cloudy, with the best chance of any sunny spells
00:55in the south-west of England, west Wales or western parts of Scotland.
01:00Temperatures tomorrow will be a touch cooler than they were today,
01:04with a high of 9 in the south-west.
01:08Through the rest of Sunday, cloud will spread westwards with light rain and drizzle
01:13affecting the far east of parts of England.
01:16Looking ahead to next week, it is set to remain mostly cloudy,
01:19though there will be some bright or sunny spells at times.
01:22Though it does look like it will be becoming cooler as we head through the week.
