00:00Hello again. A fine summer's day for the vast majority today. It is dry and bright, most
00:06places seeing a bit of blue sky, but it's not gloriously sunny everywhere, a few places
00:11staying rather drab. But for the vast majority, high pressure is bringing sunny skies and
00:17this high is going to stick around for the rest of this week and even into the weekend,
00:21a bank holiday for many of us. Now, there is this zone of cloudier weather over central
00:26parts of England extending into East Wales. So here it won't be sunny, but even here
00:31it should brighten up at times. Quite misty and murky around the coast of northern Scotland
00:36as well and parts of Northern Ireland. A bit of a breeze across East Anglia and the southeast,
00:42but for most it's fine. It's sunny, the winds are light and it feels pretty warm with temperatures
00:46getting into the low or even mid-20s, 25 as possible across parts of Western Scotland.
00:52It's cooler with that cloudier zone. That cloud should break up a little more through
00:56the afternoon into the evening, but then overnight we'll start to see a bit more cloud, I fancy
01:01coming in from the North Sea, making for another rather grey and misty start through parts
01:06of Yorkshire and Lancashire. For most, though, it's a dry night with clear spells. Temperatures
01:11holding up in towns and cities in the teens generally, certainly in double figures, a
01:15few rural spots may dip down to single figures. Onto Wednesday and again for the vast majority
01:21it's dry and for many it'll be a sunny day. Again, though, through the central slice there
01:25will be more cloud around, but even here there'll still be some lengthy bright spells and some
01:31sunshine will come through as that cloud tends to break up through the day. We will see a
01:35bit more cloud around the coast of northeast Scotland down into northeast England, so some
01:39of the coast here could be rather misty and murky as they could around Northern Ireland
01:44too, but generally, as I said, plenty more fine, bright, sunny weather. Temperatures
01:49really responding to that sunshine as well, getting up into the low 20s quite widely.
01:54But southwest Scotland, the west of Northern Ireland, 25, 26, maybe 27 Celsius in one or
02:01two places. It will be quite a bit cool on some of these North Sea coasts with that freshening
02:05breeze and that's tied into this thickening band of cloud that may even bring some drizzly
02:11conditions across the far northeast later on on Wednesday. That is a weather front,
02:16a weak weather front, but it is a cold front. And as that pushes across the country, it
02:21will introduce a colder feel for many on Thursday, especially in the east. But high pressure
02:26holding on. Just need to watch this little weather feature could introduce a few showers
02:30across the southeast and east Anglia on Saturday. But otherwise, high pressure hanging on more
02:36fine dry weather to come into the long weekend. Keep up to date with the very latest by subscribing
