00:00Hello, after a warm and sunny Saturday, Sunday is looking hot with plenty more sunshine for most,
00:06however there will be some rain in the far northwest. So it looks like high pressure
00:10will be staying with us for the bulk of the country over the rest of the weekend,
00:15but notice frontal systems moving into northwestern fringes overnight on Saturday night.
00:20That will thicken cloud in the far northwest of Scotland, developing some light rain and drizzle
00:25at times and a southwesterly breeze, but for the bulk of the country sunshine will continue through
00:30Saturday evening with clear spells overnight and temperatures remaining in double digits.
00:37Those clear spells will continue through Sunday with plenty of strong sunshine and high or very
00:42high UV levels for much of the UK, but thicker cloud with more persistent rain will continue
00:49across the far northwest of Scotland and it will feel much fresher in the southwesterly breeze here,
00:54but for most of the UK temperatures will be well above average for the time of year
00:58with highs of 28 degrees in the southeast. Sunshine will continue through Sunday evening
01:04for most of the country, but cloud will slowly sink southwards through Scotland
01:09and into next week sunshine and hot weather will continue particularly in the southeast,
