00:00what's up guys we are back with another video and you guys can see a little bit
00:05of a different video today guys we're gonna be doing and kind of like a vlog
00:08style review I think this is gonna be like the first one on the channel there's
00:12a format I just wanted to test out and we're here in Las Vegas for CES and yeah
00:21so I wanted to just go ahead and show you guys how this phone kind of works in
00:25the real world now I did not I left my sim so I'm gonna have to try to tether
00:32this hotspot and do the best I can with it but hopefully I'll be able to show
00:37you guys you know how you know it'll look and feel if you guys do decide to
00:40get a note 20 ultra I know this is kind of like a fan favorite on the channel
00:45all right I did want to show you guys the video quality and I guess I'll show
00:48you guys the room this is the Rio and it's being renovated and this is I guess
00:52I got the older room here she didn't say I can upgrade for extra but I like
00:57now this room is massive guys I don't know if the camera is doing it justice
01:00but this this room is massive and you're not quite on the strip you're like right
01:06off the strip guys you're right off the strip and there's a Bellagio and stuff
01:12like that but you guys can see the video quality I mean it's an older room but
01:18the the room is clean at least also the room is massive guys I don't know but
01:23I didn't see this part it's it's a really big it's a really big room all
01:29right so while I'm sitting waiting for this food I want to talk about the note
01:3220 Ultra's display so it's a massive display at 6.9 inches it's a dynamic
01:38AMOLED display 120 Hertz HDR 10 plus it's 1440p 496 for the PPI and it's a
01:45beautiful display guys you can see and it has that curve to it and I still
01:49think it's a really timeless looking panel here the only thing that has aged
01:54about the screen is actually that you can't do the 120 Hertz at 1440p but I'm
02:00running 1080p as always and it still looks you know great but that's pretty
02:04much it I mean it's still really bright outdoors like I said it's a massive
02:08display it's bigger than the s23 Ultra and I absolutely love it you can see how
02:12vibrant and colorful it is so I did end up eating that though I think it's
02:16Whataburger in the Rio and yeah I just not feeling it at all I got the chicken
02:21sandwich and it was nasty man I wasn't cooked in the middle either the fries
02:25had some kind of weird seasoning on it yeah so I was kind of mad about that it
02:29was almost 30 bucks too also I am checking my Rincon application this is
02:34something that I check all the time to monitor my sleep how many steps I take
02:38last year was a pretty big year for me health-wise on just kind of making sure
02:43I get better quality sleep and you know the proper steps guys I want to talk
02:47about the S Pen now I don't typically use the S Pen on any of my Galaxy devices
02:53unless I'm making a grocery list or unless I'm doing this and I do find it
02:57kind of therapeutic you can kind of use it as you know a coloring book and you
03:01can also do like real digital artwork I said all the time but I can't draw but
03:06you can actually do some serious digital artwork on these S Pens because
03:10they the latency is so low so and there's also several things you can do
03:14like you know if you do social media you can use the S Pen button to record from
03:19a distance and all types of cool stuff you know take pictures from a distance
03:22as well alright so I did want to touch on the hardware real quick with the Note
03:2620 Ultra it is IP68 dust and water resistant of course glass and metal
03:30does have that glossy back so it can pick up fingerprints and also I think
03:34the only thing I don't like about this phone is that it's just a boxy phone
03:38it's really sharp in the palms but if you put a case on it it takes away that
03:43poking feeling in the palm but other than that I wasn't actually too mad at
03:50the size of this phone because it is a big phone but actually you know didn't
03:54mind it because it's not super super heavy like you would think but I think
03:58the hardware on the Note 20 Ultra still looks great like I said you have that SD
04:02card support which a lot of people love and of course a built-in S Pen. Alright so
04:06let's talk about gaming performance this phone does a phenomenal job with gaming
04:10guys so it has the Snapdragon 865 chipset on here like I said it does have
04:15SD card support so if you take a lot of videos download a lot of games then
04:19you'll really love this phone and like I said you got that big display on here
04:23it's able to play PUBG at 90 frames and it still plays really well I didn't have
04:27any type of heating issues I've never had really any heating issues with this
04:30chipset and it's just extremely efficient when it comes to gaming
04:34especially you know at the price you know it's still gonna play better than a
04:38lot of mid-rangers and stuff like that but yeah I absolutely thought the gaming
04:43experience was really great so if you're trying to get you know a few matches of
04:47PUBG Call of Duty this phone can definitely do it. Alright guys we're gonna
04:50head to the Bellagio fountains because supposedly they have a fountain show but
04:55I want to go ahead and talk about the camera specs so the Note 20 Ultra has a
04:59108 megapixel standard, a 12 megapixel periscope telephoto, it has 5x optical
05:04with 50x hybrid zoom, and a 12 megapixel ultra-wide. You can also shoot in
05:098k 24 and a 10 megapixel selfie cam that shoots in 4k 60 so I've been showing you
05:14guys some video and I thought the video was pretty solid but as you guys can see
05:18the stills here I was really impressed with the stills images I thought they
05:23still looked pretty great and again we weren't in like the best sunniest
05:27lighting but I still think I got some really good shots with the Note 20 Ultra's
05:32camera but let's go ahead and head over to the Bellagio fountain.
05:57We are back from the Bellagio fountains and yeah I did a little bit of walking
06:14but I wasn't actually didn't have that much screen on time with this phone as
06:18you guys can see it's 47% I was really kind of sightseeing a lot of time took a
06:24lot of pictures and videos and stuff like that so this was like a light day
06:29typically like I always tell you guys I'm a light user and I really mean that
06:33like I'm really like you know on YouTube tik-tok and stuff like that I might play
06:39like Subway Surfer or like Call of Duty a few times but that's pretty much it
06:43I'm like I said super light user just like browsing Chrome and stuff like that
06:48and I typically like to keep my brightness like as low as possible
06:53depending on where I'm at so like if I'm in the hotel room right now I
06:57typically like to keep it like really low that helps the screen on time a lot
07:01and if you're outdoors I try to keep it as low as you know I can stomach it
07:06basically so I know sometimes you know people may ask me like this screen is so
07:12low in brightness especially if it's sunny outside but I try to put it where
07:16now I can see it at least also guys let's talk about some of the other
07:20additional features these speakers on here are still really good and a lot of
07:24people ask me why I use this song a lot this is the only song I can use without
07:29YouTube copyright in the video it's a song that was given to me a lot of
07:36people asked for it but I can't can't really give it away so for everybody who
07:41always asked for the song
07:51yeah so you still get a crazy good sound quality especially with Dolby Atmos on
08:09it gives me the kind of sound profile I like if you turn Dolby Atmos off it's a
08:14little bit more I guess bassier but yeah these speakers still sound really really
08:20good now also the phone software experience is pretty much still on par
08:25with the s23 ultra its last major OS update was Android 13 when you i5 and
08:33yeah it still runs extremely smooth you still pretty much have the same features
08:38as far as sounds like desktop support reverse wireless power sharing is on
08:42here all that good stuff the phone is currently only getting security patches
08:46right now it's not gonna get any more major OS updates which is unfortunate I
08:51think that's the only thing that kind of sucks about this phone but nonetheless
08:55it is still even security patches so that's still pretty good but this phone
08:59did pretty good like I said this phone easily can do five hours 30 minutes of
09:04screen on time on like a regular day yeah I think brand new it can do six
09:09hours but I'm pretty impressed with the battery life on this phone and yeah
09:16that's pretty much it guys very impressed with the note 20 ultra kind of
09:19see why the phone is retaining its value you know so long it's because the SD
09:25card support excellent display excellent cameras as we saw just this is an
09:31overall just really fast phone as well too good at gaming so yeah so what do
