00:00What's up guys, so I had a few requests to compare the s24 fe to the s24 ultra I think
00:07Some fe users they just want to see how it compares to samsung's top of the line phone
00:12And then you also got people trying to choose between both of these phones coming from an older phone
00:17And you may or may not need the top of the line specs. I tell people that all the time
00:21This is why I always tell people to go with
00:23You know older flagships and stuff like that because you may not need all the bells and whistles here
00:28Um, but guys if you are thinking about the s24 fe if you don't mind having an older flagship go with an s23
00:36Ultra go with a s23 plus
00:39Highly recommend that but again a lot of people want, you know a new phone
00:43So let's go ahead and jump in and see
00:46The pros and cons here as far as build quality. They're both glass and metal phones the s24
00:52Ultra uses the titanium design as well, too
00:55And then we also have a matte finish on here
00:57It is a boxier phone as well, and it is a little bit of a wider phone, too
01:02So you guys can see here. They're both pretty big phones as well
01:07As you guys can see almost the same height
01:10Um, but yeah, you will notice that uh, the s24
01:14Ultra is not as comfortable as the fe in the palm here
01:18Um because it's a boxier phone. So it kind of pokes the palm a little bit
01:22You can fix that with a case, but it will make it, you know, obviously a little bit
01:26wider and a little bit more bulky, but
01:28Yeah, as far as the designs two very good designs here
01:32So one of the main things that you're going to be paying for
01:35Is this s-pen so it really this is a big, you know deciding factor here
01:41Do you see yourself using the s-pen here? So the s-pen has a lot of great qualities here
01:47And they've been adding a lot of cool stuff with the s-pen like the sketch the image and stuff like that
01:52So there's a lot of ai stuff that you can do. You can do this on the the s24 as well, too
01:58But you can kind of you know, just doodle and you can use it to navigate the os
02:02It is bluetooth as well
02:04So you can take pictures from a distance if you're a content creator or something like that
02:08Um, so the s-pen could be pretty handy you have smart select on here and overall it's just a handy tool
02:14Uh to have for sure if you guys
02:16You know are into just using a stylus in general and then also for digital artwork is a big thing on here as well
02:23the latency is so
02:25Uh good on here that you could do really good professional digital artwork on here
02:30If you go ahead and look on youtube now, if none of that interests you then, you know, obviously
02:35That is a big deciding factor there
02:38Also again, both phones are ip68 dust and water resistant. All right, so let's talk about the displays here
02:44So this is where you will kind of notice that more premium
02:47Kind of spending on here which again it may or may not matter
02:50So the s24 ultra has a slightly bigger panel. It's a 6.8 inch display. You also have a dynamic ltpo
02:59Uh display on here. It is an amoled 120 hertz hdr10 plus
03:042600 nits peak brightness it is it does have a higher resolution at 1440p
03:09And then it's 505 for the ppi we have an 88.5 percent screen to body ratio with a smaller
03:16Punch hole and much smaller
03:18Bezels here now the fe's display is not that bad. It's a 6.7 inch display. It's dynamic. Amoled. It's 120 hertz
03:26Hdr10 plus and it has pretty good max brightness at 1900 nits peak brightness
03:31but it is a lower resolution at 1080p and 385 for the ppi and
03:37It has an 88 percent screen to body ratio
03:39That's what the specs say, but it looks much lower than that in my opinion, especially when you look at the bottom
03:45there's just no way
03:46um, but yeah, so
03:48Overall the you're paying for that more luxury experience now when i'm looking at both displays
03:54They both look really good. The colors almost kind of look the same as well too as far as it being really colorful
04:02uh, the display is fine on the
04:04The fe so you really may not need that
04:07Uh, you know that 1440p resolution like the biggest thing here is really the higher max brightness the overall better display design
04:15But if you're somebody you don't really care about
04:18All of the kind of like little fancy stuff with the bezels and the ltpo and stuff like that
04:23And this does actually get pretty bright outdoors. So that's not really an issue there
04:28Um, but yeah, you're just kind of paying for that kind of luxury experience
04:32But the display does look good even at 1080p
04:35Uh on the fe so let's talk about the processors here
04:38So this is an area where I never get to use the xenos processors here. So i've been kind of impressed
04:45Uh with this processor, so it's got the xenos 2400e on the fe
04:50Model here. We also have 128 gigs and 8 gigs of ram on the base model
04:55Uh, you can see the score here is pretty good compared to the s24 ultra here
05:00That's why I said I was actually pretty impressed with this
05:03Uh chipset and then also guys you do get on the s24 ultra the top of the line processor here
05:10We do get the snapdragon 8 gen 3
05:12And then this model is 512 gigabytes and 12 gigs of ram, but the base is 256
05:18So you can see both running android 14 both very good scores
05:21The xenos is just slightly behind here when it comes to general performance and animations and stuff like that
05:29I'm not gonna sit here and say that I can notice a difference because I can't
05:33These feel pretty much on par with general performance and animations pretty much everything that I do as a lighter user
05:40Is virtually the same here?
05:42So I would love to say that oh the the gen 3 is just so much better and it's staying way cooler
05:47But they they legit feel the same guys
05:50Uh, so I can't really say that here
05:53Google earth you guys can see just how smooth they both are. They're pretty much
05:57Exactly the same speed guys
05:59um, so
06:01Yeah, you can run benchmarks and stuff like that. But in the real world. They pretty much feel the same here

06:31We're in pubg and one of the first things that you immediately kind of notice here
06:36is got nothing to do with the gameplay so far, but the screen quality just looks so much better on the
06:43The s24 ultra really pops out when you uh come into pubg here
06:48Um, but when we're talking about overall gaming performance here the xenos 2400e does a pretty good job
06:55With gaming this phone is not really heats up like that
06:58and you can see we can play at the
07:0190 frames on here
07:03and it's pretty smooth and like I said, if you can you can get a
07:07Matches in and pubg and it's not heating up like crazy or anything like that
07:10Uh, but you are going to get a better gaming experience
07:13So if you are somebody who's a little bit more competitive you get the full 120 frames
07:18Uh on pubg and this will be across the board you just get
07:23Uh, just a better optimized gaming experience and overall, like I said, the screen looks nicer as well, too
07:30it almost kind of
07:33It almost is kind of making the
07:36Fe kind of look a little bit I guess like not as colorful kind of washed in comparison
07:42So
07:44You it really pops out when you you're playing pubg and stuff like that
07:49Uh, but yeah guys very very good gaming experience on both of these phones
07:53But it's like I said guys you're paying that extra price for this more kind of premium experience
07:59Uh now it just comes down to if you're a gamer, right? Are you into video games because?
08:05This you can feel the difference between 120 frames and 90 frames
08:09These speakers at max volume will start with the fe

08:38So here we go again with the quality difference the quality of the ultra speakers sound much better
08:46It's slightly louder. It's slightly cleaner in sound as well, too
08:50And again, this is not a bad speaker, uh at all on the fe
08:56You can just kind of hear it sounds cheaper
09:01Yeah, so easily a better speaker and it's the same thing with the fingerprint scanner
09:05So this is an ultrasonic one and with the ultrasonic ones guys, you can tap them lightly
09:11You don't have to really apply a whole bunch of pressure and it'll go in
09:15With the optical ones here, and this is a very small thing
09:18Like I said, it's not something that most people will care about
09:21But with the optical ones you can't like lightly tap these you gotta apply just a little bit of a pressure to it
09:27So it's not slow or bad. It's just it's like a again the you're paying for that kind of more faster kind of luxury
09:35Experience there. So this is what this is coming down to here is the camera
09:40So a lot of people are saying I never use
09:43I don't when I've never seen myself using the hundred times zoom or I don't zoom in like that
09:48Then you probably don't need to get the the ultra if you're not going to take advantage of the cameras
09:53Um now the steels on here are pretty good, but i'm going to show you guys side-by-side comparisons
09:58You guys can be the judge for yourself
10:01The fe has a 50 megapixel standard an 8 megapixel telephoto with three times optical and a 12 megapixel ultra light
10:08It's got 8k 30 video and a 10 megapixel selfie that shoots in 4k 60
10:14and it goes up to 30 times zoom even though
10:18The max zoom is not going to be anywhere near as good as uh, you know the ultra for sure
10:23And then on the ultra you have just a more beefed up camera system
10:26Which again you may or may not take advantage of it's a 200 megapixel standard and a 10 megapixel telephoto
10:33It's got three times optical zoom with a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto with five times optical zoom 12 megapixel ultra wide
10:428k 24 and 30 for the video and then a 12 megapixel selfie cam that shoots in 4k 60
10:48Goes up to 100 times zoom the zoom photography will be much much better
10:5330 times 10 times it's just going to be an overall better camera experience, especially for video if you're zooming in with video

12:39I want to touch on software both of these phones got the seven-year pledge as well, too
12:44So you will get a lot of updates with these phones
12:47They both have the galaxy ai features and stuff, uh on here as well, too, which is really nice
12:53So you don't have to you know worry about that and then also for battery life
12:57My battery life experience has been pretty good on the fe as a lighter user
13:02it's kind of hard for me to to kill these phones these days because
13:06The battery life has just gotten really good
13:08So you have a slightly smaller 4700 milliamp hour battery versus the 5000 milliamp hour battery
13:14On the ultra and then the ultra does charge faster at 45 watts versus the 25 watts
13:21On the fe which you will notice it does charge a lot slower
13:25Um, you also have wireless and reverse wireless charging on both which is really good
13:30um, so battery life for me actually has been good so
13:33You can go with the fe or the ultra and get really good battery life as a lighter user
13:39I think if you're more into gaming
13:41Um, you probably will again want to go with the the ultra for the better frame rates and overall
13:48The battery life I think would be a lot better
13:50Um, but yeah, so that pretty much sums it up guys
13:54Um, like I said, you you may not need to spend all that money
13:58And you may be fine with the the s24 fe
14:02especially if you don't want to get a older flagship then this will be a
14:06You know, it'll be a pretty good purchase. A lot of people will be getting these on carriers and stuff like that
14:11I say if you get a good deal, I would say go ahead go for it
14:14but if you find yourself caring about the zoom and the s-pen and
14:19Uh, just the overall little bells and whistles with the screen and stuff like that then definitely spend that extra money
14:25I think you'll be happy
