वाराणसी: वाराणसी दौरे पर पहुंचे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने देश के लिए 6000 करोड़ जबकि काशी के लिए 3200 करोड़ रुपए की विकास परियोजनाओं का लोकार्पण और शिलान्यास किया। इस दौरान आयोजित कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि जब हमने बाबतपुर एयरपोर्ट वाला हाईवे बनाया तो क्या फायदा सिर्फ आने जाने वाले लोगों को मिला। इससे उद्योग, खेती और पर्यटन तीनों को बल मिला। आज बनारस आने वाले लोगों की संख्या तेजी से बढ़ी है। कोई घूमने आ रहा है, कोई व्यापार के लिए आ रहा है और इसमें फायदा आपका हो रहा है। अब जब बाबतपुर हवाई अड्डे का और विस्तार होगा तो आपको और ज्यादा फायदा होगा। आज इस पर काम भी शुरू हो गया है। ये काम जब पूरा हो जाएगा तो यहां ज्यादा विमान उतर पाएंगे। 2014 में हमारे देश में सिर्फ 70 एयरपोर्ट थे और आज 150 से ज्यादा एयरपोर्ट हैं।
