वाराणसी: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वाराणसी में आरजे शंकरा नेत्र अस्पताल का उद्घाटन किया। ये नेत्रालय कांची मठ से संचालित होता है। यहां आयोजित कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि आरोग्य से जुड़ी भारत की रणनीति के पांच स्तंभ हैं। पहला प्रिवेंटिव हेल्थ केयर यानी बीमारी होने से पहले का बचाव, दूसरा समय पर बीमारी की जांच, तीसरा मुफ्त और सस्ता इलाज, सस्ती दवाएं। चौथा छोटे शहरों में अच्छा इलाज और डॉक्टरों की कमी दूर करना और पांचवा स्वास्थ्य सेवा में टेक्नोलॉजी का विस्तार। किसी भी व्यक्ति को बीमारी से बचाना भारत की स्वास्थ्य नीति की बड़ी प्राथमिकता है। स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र का पहला स्तंभ है। बीमारी गरीब को और गरीब बनाती है।
