गया: सूरजपुरी रोड स्थित श्री आनंदपुर सत्संग भवन में दर्जनों सुहागिन महिलाओं ने करवाचौथ का व्रत रखकर पति की दीर्घायु और सुख-समृद्धि के लिए प्रार्थना की। पूरे देश में करवा चौथ का त्योहार धूमधाम से मनाया जा रहा है। सुहागिन महिलाएं सुबह सास से सरगी लेकर दिनभर निर्जला व्रत रखती हैं। करवा चौथ की कथा सुनने के बाद, चंद्र दर्शन कर पति के हाथ से जल पीकर व्रत तोड़ा जाता है। प्रोफेसर प्रतिभा ने बताया कि यह पर्व पति-पत्नी के बीच प्रेम और परिवार की एकता को मजबूत करता है, और सुहागिन महिलाएं पति की दीर्घायु की कामना के लिए व्रत रखती हैं।
