वाराणसी: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वाराणसी में आरजे शंकरा नेत्र अस्पताल का उद्घाटन किया। ये नेत्रालय कांची मठ से संचालित होता है। यहां आयोजित कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि मैं काशी के, पूर्वांचल के सभी परिवारजनों को बहुत बहुत बधाई देता हूं। हमारे शास्त्रों में कहा गया है तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय। ये आरजे शंकरा नेत्र अस्पताल वाराणसी और इस क्षेत्र के अनेकों लोगों के जीवन से अंधकार दूर करेगा। उन्हें प्रकाश की ओर ले जाएगा। ये एक प्रकार से आध्यात्मिकता और आधुनिकता का संगम है। ये अस्पताल बुजुर्गों की भी सेवा करेगा और बच्चों को भी नई रोशनी देगा। यहां बहुत बड़ी संख्या में गरीबों को मुफ्त इलाज मिलने वाला है। ये नेत्र अस्पताल यहां के युवाओं के लिए भी रोजगार के नए अवसर लेकर आया है।
