(Adnkronos) - “Oltre 87 miliardi di euro è il valore condiviso creato nel 2023 dal sistema. Così Alessandro Marangoni, Chief Executive Officer di Althesys, a margine dell’evento di presentazione delle evidenze della ricerca promossa da Centromarca e condotta da Althesys sul valore condiviso dell’industria di marca sul sistema Paese.

00:04The study of the brand creates value for Italy,
00:07carried out by the Share Value Institute of Altesis for Centromarca,
00:12highlights the contribution that the Italian system of brand companies
00:18gives to the economy, employment and growth in our country.
00:22More than 87 billion euros is the shared value created by the system in 2023,
00:30an analysis that embraces the entire value chain,
00:34from suppliers to production, to the various distribution channels,
00:40large distribution, OREC, etc.
00:43We are talking about a figure that equals more than 4% of our country's GDP
00:50and involves more than 1 million shareholders,
00:55with a significant contribution also in terms of employment.
00:59In this picture, it is also important to highlight the contribution
01:05that is given in terms of tax revenue,
01:08about 27 billion, a significant amount of income for our country
01:16and a 1 to 3 ratio between the value created by the production phase,
01:22i.e. by the companies associated with Centromarca,
01:25and the shared value created overall on the supply chain.
01:30So, a significant contribution to the country's growth,
01:35especially if we take into account that this 2023 edition
01:40shows an increase of about 17% compared to the same analysis
01:45made in 2019, the last year before Covid.
01:51So, not only have we recovered what was lost
01:56in the period of crisis related to Covid,
01:59but we have grown beyond what was the value of 2019.
02:06We have to work on two fronts.
02:08On the one hand, it is important to continue with measures
02:14that reduce the cost of labor on the one hand
02:19and increase productivity on the other.
02:21So, we must certainly intervene on the fiscal side
02:24and maintain fiscal measures that reward productivity,
02:32such as the reduction of production costs.
02:38On the other hand, it is important to maintain
02:45the purchasing power of the Italians.
02:48So, from this point of view,
02:50the reduction of tax revenue can also act in this direction.
