A dirlo Giangiacomo Pierini, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director Coca-Cola HBC Italia, intervistato in occasione del nuovo appuntamento Adnkronos Q&A intitolato ‘Trasformazione green, investimenti e strategie’, svoltosi a Palazzo dell’Informazione a Roma.

00:00Competitiveness and environmental challenges have a common answer, that is investments.
00:10Like Coca-Cola Capricci d'Italia, since 2010 we have invested half a billion euros in the country.
00:16And this, of course, with special attention to industrial activities and our six production plants distributed in five regions of the country.
00:25On which area? The environmental area.
00:28So we have invested in everything that concerns new technologies related to packaging.
00:33So recycled raw materials, new processes, new infrastructures that allow us to save energy,
00:39a lower use of water and a lower use of virgin raw materials.
00:43We have also increased the recycled raw material with a plant dedicated to this with 30 million investment in Piedmont.
00:50In addition to this, we have invested in water, which is one of the major issues at the moment.
00:54We are an industry that uses little and always uses less, but we have developed innovative projects.
01:00For example, in Veneto, where we have the largest factory in Europe, south of Verona,
01:05in the creation of an infiltration forest area together with the Consortium of Verona Bionifici
01:10to increase the amount of water in depth in the fauld, going to compensate for the water we take from the factory.
