00:00Good morning. Not much to remember about the weather on this 5th of November.
00:05Just dry and cloudy kind of sums it up for most places.
00:09There is a little bit of drizzle here and there around some coasts and hills.
00:13And there'll be a few breaks in the cloud as well.
00:16A few fog patches, first thing to be aware of.
00:19And where we've got the fog, it may take quite a while to clear away.
00:23And we should see some sunshine equally coming through across parts of northern Scotland.
00:27A few breaks in the cloud likely to the north of hills, so parts of north Wales.
00:31And also we may see a few breaks in the cloud.
00:34A little bit of blue sky poking through across east Anglia and the southeast.
00:37But I'd say for most it's going to be a fairly grey day.
00:40The cloud thick enough at times for some drizzle around the coast of Wales.
00:43And maybe the east coast of Northern Ireland too.
00:46But the vast majority are just staying dry and rather drab.
00:49With temperatures close to average, 11 or 12 Celsius.
00:52But where we do see a bit of sunshine, say north Wales, northern Scotland.
00:56It may easily squeak up a few degrees, 15, maybe even 16 in one or two locations.
01:01The breeze is coming up from the south.
01:03Which is why areas to the north of hills are most likely to see a little bit of sunshine.
01:08For many then, this evening is going to be dry and fine.
01:11Again, some drizzle is possible here and there, the coast of southwest Scotland.
01:15But if you're heading out to a firework display, that's pretty good news I think.
01:19Light winds, fairly cloudy conditions, but not especially cold.
01:22Temperatures 7 o'clock this evening, still in double digits for many.
01:26It's getting a little colder maybe in northern Scotland.
01:29And in the far northwest of Scotland, the winds will be picking up through this evening.
01:33And overnight, we are likely to see a little bit more in the way of rain just creeping in here.
01:38Elsewhere, again, bar the odd spot of drizzle over hills, most places dry.
01:42But maybe it's getting a little mistier.
01:44It's often the case, the 6th of November morning is quite foggy.
01:48Foggy due to the bonfires the previous night adding more particulates to the sky.
01:52So yeah, it could be a bit murky on Wednesday morning.
01:55But it won't be especially cold where we keep the clouds.
01:58Temperatures holding up at 9, 10, 11 degrees in the southwest maybe.
02:02But pockets of northern Scotland with some clearer skies here could dip down close to freezing.
02:08So for Wednesday, it's more of the same.
02:10Remember, a misty murky start for most.
02:12Staying pretty grey for most places through the day.
02:16Again, we'll see some good spells of sunshine, I suspect, across northern Scotland.
02:20And a little bit of drizzle here and there around coasts and hills.
02:23But generally, grey and dry.
02:25The winds picking up a little more around these western coasts as we go through the day.
02:29But temperatures also picking up a degree or so.
02:32More likely to see 14 or 15 in the west even if it does stay cloudy.
02:36Whereas further east, 12 or 13 likely to be the top temperatures.
02:40In fact, not a great deal of change through the rest of the week.
