00:00And Jarrod Brantway, obviously we mentioned him in the summer, a massive name for them.
00:05Looking at his stats last season, 41 games played, obviously only three so far, one start, 96 minutes.
00:14What does he sort of have to do to get into this side and is it as simple as just casting him straight back in because he has that quality?
00:22Yeah, it's been a surprise that he hasn't come back in, if truth be told, because he's Everton's best player.
00:30Let's be frank, maybe bar Jordan Pickford, he's Everton's best player and we've seen how good he was last season.
00:38Broke into the England settle, was targeted by Manchester United, obviously had his injury issues.
00:45I can understand to an extent why Sean Dyche hasn't come back in because the defensive partnership we're doing quite well.
00:55But A, Everton have been beaten now, so you maybe do change your team and B, you should always design, you should always play your best team.
01:05And I know that Sean Dyche might have thought it may be harsh on Michael Keane to drop him, but Jarrod Brantway gives you a lot more.
01:14First of all, he's a left footer, so he gives you more balance on the ball. He's more comfortable on the ball than Michael Keane.
01:20We've seen last season when Everton had the fourth best defence in the Premier League that he brought the best out of maybe James Tarkowski and Vitaly Mikhalenko on the other side of him as well.
01:33More balance, gets you up the pitch a little bit more, wins you headers, wins you duels.
01:38Offers a threat from set-piece, to be fair, so does Michael Keane, he's a great finisher.
01:43But there are some fans as well looking at James Tarkowski now thinking, does his form maybe warrant him losing his spot for Jarrod Brantway,
01:52even making a move and Michael Keane to the right, because he's been carrying a couple of injuries, James Tarkowski, I think some minor injuries.
02:00He hasn't looked his best, to be honest. That tackle that he flew into Cameron Archer at the weekend, that end in a yellow card,
02:08there were some thinking he could have been off there the way he flew into him.
02:13But I think heading to West Ham, Sean Dyche, he's under a little bit of pressure now to deliver after losing to Southampton.
02:21You've got to play your best team, and your best team is with Jarrod Brantway's in it.
02:25If he's a ÂŁ17 million defender, that's what he's rated at, then you've got to get him into your team.
