00:00I guess sometimes the best way to deal with a sibling is the locker in a cellar.
00:03Here's a look at the brand new NECA, the Evil Dead, Ultimate Ash, and Cheryl action figures.
00:30Five friends drive to a remote cabin in the woods for a fun getaway.
00:36While there, they find the Necronomicon Ex Mortis, an ancient tome whose text reawakens the dead when read aloud.
00:41After unintentionally releasing a flood of evil, the group must fight for their lives or become possessed.
00:46When it came to Cheryl's faith, she had to go on a limb.
00:49Yeah.
00:49Before, though, we get a close look at the Evil Dead, Ultimate Ash, and Cheryl.
00:53Let's take the tape measure and see how tall the figures stand.
00:55While it does look like Ash is maybe using some of the body elements from earlier released, Ash is, I think Cheryl's body is brand new.
01:02Although, while I'm looking at her blouse, the first thing that came to my mind, if they ever get the Halloween 78 license, that would be a perfect top torso for Halloween Annie.
01:10Anyways, though, as promised, let's go ahead and take the tape measure.
01:13We're going to start things first with Ash.
01:14She's going to stand at six and three-quarters of an inch in height.
01:17That works out, though, to be a figure that's about 16 and a half centimeters tall.
01:21Then to Cheryl, who's slightly shorter and a whole lot more evil.
01:23She's actually just a hair taller than six inches in height, or about 15 and a half centimeters tall.
01:28Yeah, I am convinced that they're actually using the same body as the original Evil Dead, Ultimate Ash.
01:33Similar top torso, similar lower legs.
01:36Also bringing a couple of other examples of Ash, here's what the figure looks like with the Dead by Dawn.
01:40This was the two-pack that came in clue with Deadite Ed.
01:43And here's also what the figure looks like with the 2022 Reissue Ash, or as I've coined, Side-Eyed Ash.
01:50Which, that was a great figure, if you ever had the chance to pick that.
01:53Pick up, though, the 2022 Reissue, as it does have very much featured the Side-Eyed look.
01:59Also, this isn't the first time, though, we've gotten ourselves a Deadite.
02:01As mentioned already, we did get ourselves the Dead by Dawn 2-pack that happened to include Deadite Ed.
02:06Scary stuff comes in clue with both the figures.
02:08First thing that we'll have a look at is the makeshift cross that we see in the film.
02:12While in the film, it's made of two individual logs that have been tied together.
02:15This time around, though, NECA has very faithfully crafted this all in plastic.
02:19I will say, though, that the actual cross does look like it kind of leans a little to the side.
02:24I would have to go back and watch the film again to see if that is movie accurate or not.
02:27But it's a nice-looking cross that we see in the film.
02:30While we're certainly also sticking with Ash, the figure, of course, comes in clue with his chainsaw.
02:34Not yet, though, attached to the end of his forearm.
02:36The chainsaw has been done here all in red.
02:38Of course, we've got a little bit of blood there on top of the handle.
02:40A good, generous amount of that all across the teeth of it as well.
02:43Now, this can be held in the figure's hands.
02:45One thing I do actually like about the figures in this release is that they're using generally soft plastic.
02:50So getting things like the chainsaw, for example, into the hands of either Ash,
02:53I guess you probably wouldn't be putting into Cheryl's hands.
02:56Putting it, though, into Ash's hands is not a hard thing to do at all.
02:59In fact, the proof is in the pudding.
03:01Just grabbing the figure, you can see, like, the plastic is soft enough at least.
03:04It's not super rubbery, mind you, but it's soft at least enough
03:06that you can easily get the handle of the chainsaw wielded in his hand.
03:10Now, I don't know if I will likely display this, though, with Ash,
03:13considering, though, really, I mean, he's got quite a lot of blood all over his body.
03:17That's not cranberry sauce, by the way.
03:18Maybe I might just end up displaying him with the chainsaw.
03:20I mean, again, like, we've gotten enough releases of Ash in the past
03:23that have all come included with chainsaws.
03:25Is it kind of a little bit more overkill?
03:27Overkill, I say, as I'm describing Evil Dead,
03:30to have this figure now displayed on the shelf with the same.
03:32He also does come included with a shovel.
03:34The shovel isn't, though, as generously soaked in blood as perhaps the chainsaw,
03:38but there's still a fair bit of it on the end of it.
03:40I like the way that they've added a little bit of lighter silver added it,
03:43so it's not just the darker black or the darker gunmetal gray.
03:47The actual handle itself doesn't have any blood on it,
03:50but there's a nice little bit of red that they've added to the side.
03:52And, like the head of the shovel, you can see there's a little bit of wear way,
03:57like the paints, come off over time.
03:59I think that's a really nice little attention to detail.
04:01Attention to detail as well.
04:03The figure does come included with a fire poker.
04:05The fire poker, though, of the accessories, is a little bit more pliable.
04:09Probably don't be doing this, though, just with the risk that this could potentially break.
04:12And last things first, but obviously last thing before we kind of get down to the heads
04:16and the interchangeable head sculpts, he does also come included with his axe.
04:21Now, again, like, again, redundant to say, like,
04:23there's so much blood on all these accessories.
04:25That's going to be one trend that you're going to be finding quite common,
04:28not only just with the accessories, but also with Ash and Cheryl as well.
04:31So, again, any one of these can be wielded in Ash's hands.
04:34Speaking of hands, though, by the way,
04:35the figure does also come included with a couple of other swappable hands.
04:38One hand actually looks a little bit better suited for holding a shotgun,
04:41yet the figure doesn't come included with one.
04:43I would imagine, though, this probably would be the better hand to hold the chainsaw
04:47because, of course, it does have the finger that's going to fit nicely around the trigger.
04:51Of course, it does also come included with this hand also as well.
04:53Quite a lot of blood.
04:54You know, again, an understatement all over the hand here of Ash.
04:58It's actually, funny enough, only on the top of the hand.
05:01It finds no appearance, actually, on the palm itself.
05:03The hands themselves can be easily swapped out.
05:05Just to show you guys what that works and how that works,
05:08just go ahead and just take the hand and wiggle it off.
05:10As you can see, there's the post.
05:11And then just take the hand that you want to then use, plug it back in place.
05:16I guess while we're using maybe perhaps this hand,
05:18we'll go ahead and take the chainsaw, get that wedge back in there.
05:21There we go.
05:22Yeah, you can see there's the finger right there,
05:24very safely hovering around the trigger.
05:27If I was being surrounded by deadites, siblings, or otherwise,
05:30my finger will be always hovering around the trigger of any chainsaw.
05:35Anyways, while the figure, you know what?
05:37Let's just take that out of his hand.
05:38I just don't want to make him any bit side heavy.
05:40One thing that also Ash does come included with, though,
05:43is an alternate head sculpt.
05:45Now, the head, as you can see,
05:46technically did come out of the packaging with this one,
05:49but I did kind of want to change things up with,
05:51actually kind of starting with a cleaner looking face
05:52that is also sporting a side eye.
05:55I like the side eyes.
05:56I don't want to have side eyes on every figure,
05:58but every once in a while, especially on an Ash,
06:00I think it really works well.
06:01Technically, though, this was the head that came out of the packaging with him.
06:05Again, I just swapped this out.
06:06Kind of disappointing, though, that they're actually using...
06:09I'll show you guys in a second.
06:10So you've got the cleaner face with the side eye.
06:13Oh, he knows.
06:13He knows something's going on.
06:15And then there's also this one where he's looking straight at you.
06:17The hair has now been soaked.
06:18There's blood all over his face.
06:22Likeness, I think it's pretty good.
06:23I mean, this, granted, is Evil Dead Ash, not Evil Dead 2 Ash,
06:26where he gets, of course, the chainsaw on the end of his forearm.
06:29Swapping out the heads is just a simple case of popping the head off that you have
06:32and replace it with a head that you didn't have yet.
06:35Unfortunately, though, as I already mentioned,
06:37the one thing, unfortunately, that they've done
06:38is they've given these guys ball joints right at the top.
06:41Right there.
06:42Right there.
06:43Instead of actually having the post system,
06:44and why I say that,
06:46I'm going to get this head back where it belonged,
06:49right on top of the ball joint here.
06:51Just get this figure to stand here for a second.
06:55Shall we perhaps reach off to the side?
06:57I already had this planned anyways.
06:58Here's the other side-eyed Ash anyways from Evil Dead 2.
07:01And this was the 2022 reissue.
07:05The previous issues, by the way,
07:06actually had the figure with his eye looking forward.
07:09For some reason or not,
07:09they opted to go with the 2022 reissue
07:12as the reissue to give Ash that trademark side-eye.
07:16Why I bring this figure in,
07:17obviously this is a little bit older of a figure,
07:19is if you went to change the head,
07:21because you were thinking to yourself,
07:22hey, wait a minute,
07:22now I've got alternate head sculpts,
07:24I could use one with the other.
07:25Technically, you can't.
07:26Because if you try to remove the post from this one,
07:28actually try to remove the head,
07:30you'll find underneath, though,
07:31is just the regular stem post.
07:33It doesn't have the ball joint.
07:34So the head isn't going to work.
07:36I wish that they had used the same system.
07:38I know, granted, yeah,
07:39these are older figures.
07:40The original Ultimate Evil Dead Ash
07:43does actually have the exact same post system.
07:45So if you were to change out the head on this guy,
07:47it's the exact same ball joint.
07:49Had they, though, thought long-term,
07:50they could have then used the same post
07:52that you could then mix and match the head sculpts
07:54with Ash with every other figure,
07:56every other figure that they've released.
07:57I mean, maybe that's too high of an expectation.
08:00I mean, obviously,
08:01newer figures have to have newer mechanisms
08:02and newer ways that they create them.
08:05Maybe, you know, moving forward,
08:06it was just a lot easier for them to use ball joints
08:07because ball joints ensures
08:08maybe a better posability.
08:10I don't really know.
08:10But anyways, though,
08:11looking at the two bodies,
08:13torsos seem to be the same.
08:15Same shirt, same tucked-in shirt,
08:17same legs as well.
08:18The only thing that's different, though,
08:19is that this Ash didn't have yet the rip in his leg,
08:22whereas now this Ash has it,
08:23and you can see he's trickling blood.
08:25No, not cranberry sauce.
08:26All over down his leg,
08:27all over across the side of his shoes.
08:29What Lowe seems to be,
08:30other than that,
08:31exactly these same figures.
08:33Obviously, though,
08:34there's quite a lot more blood on this release
08:36than was on this version.
08:38Posability on this guy,
08:40get the head all the way on there.
08:42Posability is going to be the same,
08:43so if you're familiar with that Ash,
08:44you'll be familiar with this Ash.
08:46Head ball joint will allow the figure's head
08:48to rotate all the way around.
08:49It's going to look down and up,
08:51about that high,
08:52and you can also rock it back and forth as well.
08:55The arms rotate all the way around.
08:57You do feel a little bit of friction
08:59as you rotate them
09:00because, of course,
09:00there's this part of the plastic piece
09:03that overhangs,
09:04so you're going to feel it a little bit
09:05when you try to rotate the arms.
09:06It still successfully does it, though,
09:08and it also successfully pulls out
09:09almost a 95-degree,
09:1190-degree angle,
09:11not a 95,
09:13which a 90-degree angle would be a T-pose.
09:15You get a little less than a T.
09:17I guess technically the capital T
09:18would be over there.
09:20Single hinge only for the elbow,
09:21but it allows at least the forearm
09:23to rotate back and forth.
09:24Hands rotate all the way around,
09:25whether you want to use these hands
09:26or the other hands.
09:28There's a little hinge
09:28back and forth there as well.
09:29Upper torso ball joint.
09:31The legs do split out.
09:32There's ball joints.
09:33Hey, hi, ball joints.
09:34How are you guys doing?
09:35Forward and back motion,
09:36obviously, on the legs.
09:37There's a swivel at the top of the thigh.
09:39Single hinge on the knee.
09:40Lower leg rotation.
09:42Ankle pivot up and down.
09:43Ankle rocker as well.
09:45I don't know if I had already mentioned this.
09:46If I haven't, I'll mention it now.
09:48The figure does have pegles
09:49on the bottoms of his feet.
09:50So, yeah, you could use yourself
09:51a display stand.
09:52One is not included, though,
09:53with its figures,
09:54with either of these figures,
09:55for that matter,
09:56but you could easily use
09:57a display stand
09:57from another figure company.
09:59Even though, again,
10:00while it's still really using
10:01essentially the same ash
10:02as the first ultimate
10:04Evil Dead ash,
10:05you know, obviously,
10:06you're not probably going to want
10:07to have just a clean ash
10:08all the time.
10:09This guy should be soaked
10:10in deadite blood.
10:11So to have then this release of it,
10:13technically, again,
10:14you could use the same head sculpts.
10:15You could just swap them around.
10:16I would have loved
10:17if they had found a way
10:18to incorporate the options
10:19to swap the heads
10:20with the older ashes,
10:21but unfortunately,
10:22that not being the case.
10:23Moving those all out of the way,
10:25now let's get a closer look
10:26at Cheryl.
10:27Oh, man,
10:27Cheryl's a fantastic-looking figure.
10:29As much as I'm a big fan of ash,
10:30I would say probably the reason
10:32why I was more excited
10:33to get this set
10:33was for Cheryl.
10:35Not only because this is now
10:36the second time
10:36we've gotten ourselves
10:37a deadite.
10:38I mean, technically,
10:38there is also Henrietta,
10:40if you really want to consider
10:41just his regular human friends.
10:43Yeah, I guess the closest thing
10:44we really had
10:44was Deadite Ed.
10:45Now, of course,
10:46this does have mouth-posability.
10:48Ed also did have
10:49two technically
10:50two swappable head sculpts,
10:52Ed Getley.
10:53Nice-looking body overall,
10:54and, you know,
10:54this figure has still
10:55held the test of time.
10:56I know this set's
10:57a little bit more expensive
10:57to try to track one down now.
10:59All the more reason
11:00if you want to get this set.
11:02Try to get this one
11:03before it starts to go
11:03for crazy, stupid money.
11:05As for, though,
11:06the features
11:06or the accessories
11:07that come in clear with Cheryl,
11:09she comes with her sketchbook.
11:11Now, perhaps you could say
11:13that this is foreshadowing
11:14for that time
11:14is going to be running out.
11:16The actual sketchbook
11:17only does have
11:18just one featured page
11:19that is sketched.
11:20Everything else
11:21basically is just folded in,
11:22and this is all
11:22one sculpted piece,
11:23so there's no way
11:24to really flip
11:24the individual pages.
11:25You could kind of lift this up,
11:28but you can see,
11:29like, while you do this,
11:30there's technically
11:31an image underneath.
11:32I don't know
11:32if that's supposed
11:32to be an Easter egg,
11:33but when it does do that,
11:35though,
11:35it ends up popping
11:36the page out.
11:37I would imagine
11:38that's maybe a surprise
11:39for anybody
11:39that didn't already know
11:40that there was something
11:41supposed to be underneath.
11:42It kind of just looks,
11:43well,
11:43it looks obviously
11:44like the Necronomicon
11:45Ex Mortis.
11:46This was probably
11:47the only way
11:47that they could have done this.
11:48There's really no way
11:49you can kind of
11:50flip the page around.
11:51I guess you could
11:51kind of have it up like this,
11:52so if you want to have,
11:54you know,
11:54you could have it
11:54partially up,
11:56or again,
11:56just like flip the page around,
11:58tuck it back into place,
12:00and you can kind of
12:00have the sketchbook
12:02flipped up that way.
12:03I don't know
12:04if I'm going to really
12:04do that myself,
12:05but anyways,
12:06it is fun, though,
12:07the fact that NECA
12:08actually thought that out
12:09and had it as a
12:10flippable kind of front cover
12:11with a little hidden
12:13Easter egg underneath.
12:14Anyways,
12:15the sketchbook,
12:15we'll move that off
12:16to the side.
12:16The figure does also
12:16come included
12:17with some swappable hands.
12:18As it goes right now,
12:19Cheryl only has relaxed hands
12:21right now on her forearms,
12:22but those can,
12:23they'll be so easily
12:24swapped out
12:25with possessed hands.
12:26Yes,
12:27those definitely look
12:27like possessed hands.
12:28Don't let them get too close.
12:29Don't let them get too close.
12:31Those can also be swapped out
12:32with the hands
12:32that she has right now.
12:33The figure does also
12:34have a gripping hand,
12:35although there's not
12:36really much that she could,
12:37I guess she could give her
12:38the fire poker.
12:39Oh,
12:39just drop the hand.
12:40Just drop the hand.
12:41What I'd likely,
12:42though,
12:43be beelining back to
12:44is probably the pencil hand.
12:46Of course,
12:46though,
12:46as we see in the film,
12:47she does stab
12:48Linda's poor ankle
12:49with the pencil,
12:50even though it really
12:51was an older film
12:52and a crude budget
12:53to work with.
12:54Something about,
12:55though,
12:55the original Evil Dead
12:56I find was a harder
12:57thing to watch,
12:58just with the gruesome
12:58looking sights on screen.
12:59I still love it,
13:00though.
13:00I still love it,
13:01but it certainly is
13:02a little bit more rougher,
13:04and maybe that adds
13:04to the more scary level of it,
13:06unlike maybe the more
13:08zanier aspects
13:09of Evil Dead 1.
13:10You can see that
13:11it does look like
13:12the pencils already
13:12made penetration.
13:14Oh,
13:14I would be worrying
13:14about lead poisoning.
13:16I think lead poisoning
13:16is the least of Linda's worries.
13:19This was displayed
13:20with the figure
13:20when I first started
13:21the review.
13:22It probably will,
13:22though,
13:23continue to be displayed
13:24with the figure,
13:24and I might just end up
13:25displaying maybe
13:26the sketchbook.
13:27By the way,
13:27though,
13:28the sketchbook
13:28can technically be held
13:29in her other possessed hand,
13:31which I guess isn't
13:32so much a possessed hand.
13:33It's more of a gripping hand,
13:34but you kind of have to
13:35take the sketchbook
13:36and kind of balance
13:37it in her hand
13:37because it's not really
13:38molded in the best ways.
13:40Like,
13:40even if you use this hand,
13:41for example,
13:42it doesn't seem like
13:43it really tucks in there
13:44well enough
13:44for her to hold it securely.
13:46So you could kind of have it
13:47where it's more balanced
13:48than anything else.
13:49Even then,
13:49it's a bit of a balancing act.
13:52Finally,
13:52though,
13:53to come included
13:53with Cheryl,
13:54she comes included
13:55with two swappable head sculpts.
13:57Now,
13:57not to say that
13:58the already one
13:59that we get with
13:59out of the packaging
14:00isn't already gruesome.
14:02I mean,
14:02this is kind of
14:03more the way
14:03I think of Cheryl
14:04when I think of the film.
14:06Obviously,
14:06she's been locked
14:07in the cellar.
14:07I mean,
14:08she's got the bandage
14:09there on the top
14:09of her head.
14:10She clearly looks
14:11like something
14:11ain't right with Cheryl.
14:13Head sculpt,
14:14though,
14:14is really awesome,
14:15though,
14:15on this one.
14:15Of course,
14:16you've got the hair
14:16blown off to the side here.
14:18I still think,
14:19though,
14:19like,
14:19I don't know
14:20what their licensing
14:20would be
14:21to try to acquire
14:22the Halloween 1978 film,
14:24but I feel still
14:25that would be
14:25a perfect body
14:26to be used for Annie.
14:28Annie,
14:28yeah.
14:28I mean,
14:29obviously,
14:30maybe just before
14:30she spilt the butter
14:31all over her blouse
14:32and gets stuck
14:32in the laundry room.
14:34Perfect looking body,
14:35I think,
14:36for Annie.
14:36Anyways,
14:37we're kind of
14:37getting off
14:38onto other films.
14:39Head sculpt,
14:39though,
14:39for Cheryl.
14:40There's nothing at all
14:41I really would have
14:41changed to it.
14:43Now,
14:43granted,
14:43this is one of
14:44three other looks,
14:46three total looks.
14:47I mean,
14:47obviously,
14:47there's two other
14:48alternate head sculpts
14:49you can swap her out for.
14:50There's this one.
14:51Then there's another one
14:53that's a little bit
14:53more decayed.
14:54Oh,
14:54it gets even worse.
14:56There's this one right here.
14:57I think it's just
14:58obviously a case
14:58of taking the head
14:59and just popping it
15:00off her body
15:01and then replacing it
15:02with this one.
15:05Now,
15:05we did actually have
15:06other head sculpts
15:07from previous
15:08Evil Dead films.
15:09I'm just going to
15:10bring in right now
15:10Linda's decapitated head
15:12so you guys can see.
15:15Certainly,
15:15though,
15:16as you can see,
15:16time has progressed
15:17and has really helped
15:18what Nekka's been doing
15:19when it comes to
15:20churning out horror figures.
15:21As we've gotten
15:22with later sculpts
15:23and newer sculpts,
15:24definitely the gruesome
15:25results are definitely there.
15:27Linda's head was fine
15:29for the original
15:30initial release,
15:31but what we're getting
15:32now with Cheryl,
15:33it's just absolutely
15:34frightening.
15:36Now,
15:36again,
15:37that second stage
15:38of Cheryl,
15:39there's a third stage
15:40and even more gruesome
15:41stage.
15:41There's also this version
15:42of her as well.
15:44Again,
15:44it works the exact same way,
15:45so any one of these heads
15:46do have a socket hole
15:47on the bottom.
15:48You just pop the head
15:49that she has
15:50and then swap it out
15:51with the third
15:52and final head.
15:52Even though,
15:55to be honest with you guys,
15:56the two other heads,
15:57this one and the one
15:58we just finished looking at,
15:59will be eventually
16:00going back into the tray.
16:02I mean,
16:02obviously,
16:03I still will be displaying her,
16:04I think,
16:04with the defaulted head.
16:05I think it's the best
16:06of the three.
16:07There's something,
16:07though,
16:07to be said
16:08for how much work
16:09they put into
16:10sculpting each of the
16:11alternate head portraits
16:12that she has as well.
16:14It's hard to look at.
16:16Now,
16:16of course,
16:16when it comes to her body,
16:17should we change back
16:18the head?
16:19No,
16:19we'll keep it on
16:19for right now.
16:20Everybody's voting
16:20for keeping the gruesome head on.
16:22Okay,
16:22we'll keep the gruesome head on
16:23for Cheryl.
16:24Of course,
16:24by now,
16:25she's also losing
16:25a lot of hair
16:26on the top of her head.
16:27Yeah,
16:27I know,
16:28I know,
16:28it's the least of her worries.
16:29Lots of blood,
16:30though,
16:30all over the front of her body.
16:31I do like that
16:32they've given her
16:33the green shirt there.
16:34I feel like in the film
16:35it's a little bit lighter
16:36than this,
16:36but it's still pretty close.
16:37Of course,
16:38she does have also
16:38her slacks down below here.
16:41For the moment,
16:42though,
16:42I actually thought
16:43that this was maybe
16:43using the same lower legs
16:45as a 2018 Laurie Strode,
16:47as it does seem
16:47to have very similar
16:50but I didn't want to start
16:51contaminating this review
16:53with all these other movies.
16:54Obviously,
16:55me alone
16:55just talking about
16:56all these other films
16:57but it does kind of look
16:58like it's maybe
16:59using Laurie Strode's lower legs.
17:00I don't know
17:01if that's really,
17:01though,
17:01the case.
17:02Of course,
17:02she does have her feet
17:03down below here.
17:04Sculpted decently.
17:06Of course,
17:06there's also pegals
17:06and bombs for her feet as well.
17:08Cheryl's reticulation.
17:09Her head is going to be,
17:10again,
17:10on that ball joint
17:11so it's going to allow
17:11the head to rotate
17:12all the way around.
17:13Mileage,
17:13though,
17:14may vary.
17:15I find actually
17:15this head is the easiest
17:16one to rotate.
17:17When you get to
17:17these two heads
17:18because the hair
17:19is a little bit lower
17:20down to the shoulders,
17:21they don't rotate,
17:22though,
17:22as easily.
17:23Still,
17:23though,
17:24you can still pull off
17:24a full rotation.
17:26Head is still going to look
17:26still up,
17:27down,
17:28back and forth.
17:29Upper torso is going
17:30on a ball joint.
17:30Nothing changes there at all.
17:32Still the same swivel
17:33on the arm as Ash.
17:34These arms still can't
17:35quite pull off.
17:36Maybe a little bit more
17:37than Ash.
17:38An almost full T pose.
17:40Single hinge in the elbow
17:41once again.
17:42Same rotation
17:43in the lower arms
17:44and again rotations
17:44in the hands.
17:46Legs split out.
17:47The beauty of these
17:48as well is just more
17:49by the design of her blouse.
17:50There's an open area here,
17:51a nice slit
17:52that allows for legs
17:53to split.
17:54I mean,
17:54not that you really
17:55want to have Cheryl
17:56split like this
17:57and displayed on the shelf,
17:58but she can,
17:59though,
17:59pull it off.
18:00Forward and back motions
18:00on the legs.
18:01Yeah.
18:02Swivel at the top
18:02of the leg,
18:03sure.
18:03Top of the hinge
18:04in the knee,
18:05obviously still there as well.
18:06Allows the lower leg
18:07to rotate.
18:08Hinge up and down.
18:09A rock back and forth.
18:10There's Cheryl.
18:12Still for me,
18:13you know,
18:13while they give us
18:14three gruesome,
18:15gruesome looking
18:16head sculpts,
18:17for me at least,
18:17I'm probably just
18:17going to go back
18:18to the one
18:18that we start with
18:19when we get them
18:19out of the packaging.
18:20I think,
18:21though,
18:21when it comes to
18:22wrapping up,
18:22though,
18:22the review,
18:23don't be surprised
18:24at all to find
18:25that I'm probably
18:25going to be giving her
18:26one of the two
18:27other head sculpts
18:28just because,
18:29again,
18:29we started the review
18:30with a regular
18:31look for Cheryl.
18:32I just want to make sure
18:32I get her head
18:33all the way on there.
18:34Well,
18:34I'm going to start
18:34the review
18:35with her head
18:35looking like this.
18:36I can't end the review
18:37with her looking the same.
18:38Obviously,
18:39she gets to worse
18:40states in the film.
18:41She's going to look
18:42that way as well
18:43when we wrap up
18:43this review.
18:44Either way,
18:44though,
18:44I mean,
18:45if you guys have
18:46already been kind of
18:46collecting the Evil Dead
18:47film figures,
18:49obviously,
18:49I already again mentioned
18:50the one that we're
18:51getting here
18:51with the Ash
18:52and Cheryl Tupac
18:53while still using
18:54the same body
18:54as the original
18:55Evil Dead Ash.
18:56Clearly,
18:57though,
18:57I mean,
18:58Ash has seen
18:58worse days ahead of him
19:00when we got
19:00this release.
19:01There's a lot more
19:01blood on the front
19:02of his outfit.
19:03There's a lot more
19:03blood on his face
19:04as well.
19:05And,
19:05of course,
19:06we can't also forget
19:06his sibling,
19:07Cheryl.
19:08She's had better days
19:10behind her.
19:11Nothing but really
19:11dark,
19:12gloomy skies
19:13moving forward.
19:14I love this set.
19:15I really love this set
19:16quite a lot.
19:17There's a lot of good
19:17accessories that come
19:18in clear with both
19:18of these figures.
19:19You get yourself,
19:20of course,
19:20the cross.
19:20No Necronomicon,
19:21but,
19:21you know,
19:22again,
19:22like we've already
19:22got,
19:23again,
19:23enough Necronomicon
19:24ex-Morrisis
19:25with previous releases.
19:26I don't feel like
19:27it necessarily did
19:28belong with this Tupac.
19:29Oh,
19:29siblings,
19:29always squabbling.
19:31You know,
19:31when it comes to Ash,
19:32I think it's safe to say
19:32we've gotten a fair share
19:33of the character
19:34over the years
19:34from NECA
19:34and yet very few
19:35in the way of
19:36side characters.
19:37If you don't obviously
19:38count decapitated
19:39heads of girlfriends,
19:40the only other time
19:41we've gotten a character
19:42that isn't an Ash
19:43is obviously
19:44there's Henrietta,
19:45but,
19:45I mean,
19:45outside of that,
19:46we've also got ourselves
19:46Deadite Ed.
19:48He was part of the
19:48Dead by Dawn Tupac.
19:50Outside of that,
19:51it's been like a big
19:52void of time
19:53waiting for another
19:54character to be released
19:55and now,
19:55of course,
19:56we've got ourselves
19:56Cheryl.
19:57Cheryl would be one
19:58I would want NECA
19:59to have released
19:59and now finally
20:00having her in hand,
20:02she looks the part.
20:03She's gruesome.
20:04I mean,
20:04it's weird to kind of
20:05look at all the three
20:06heads that she has
20:07and the one that we
20:08start with
20:09is the prettiest
20:09of the three.
20:10I don't think I'd ever
20:11find myself describing,
20:12well,
20:12I am describing
20:13a Deadite head
20:14as being the prettiest
20:15of the three.
20:16She gets,
20:16though,
20:16ugly real fast.
20:18I mean,
20:18two other alternate
20:19head sculpts
20:19to show the
20:20degration of her face
20:21and poor Ash
20:22covered in blood
20:23with a chainsaw
20:23only to fend her back.
20:25This set is fantastic,
20:26though.
20:27It is available right now.
20:28I mean,
20:28I say somewhat new.
20:29I mean,
20:29the set,
20:30I think,
20:30has been around
20:31since the end
20:31of last year.
20:34I found this
20:34for a little less
20:35than $100.
20:36And for that,
20:37I don't think
20:37that's that bad
20:38of a price
20:38considering the amount
20:39of accessories,
20:40not to mention
20:40two stellar-looking
20:42figures that are
20:42included inside
20:43their boxed prison.
20:45What do you guys,
20:45though,
20:45think of this set?
20:46Have you had the chance
20:47to pick up the
20:47Ultimate Ash
20:48and Cheryl action figures
20:49from the original
20:49Evil Dead?
20:51And if you have,
20:52how do you have
20:52Cheryl displayed?
20:53Let me know what you
20:54think of down below.
20:55If you guys did
20:56enjoy this video,
20:56you can do it a solid
20:57throw to like.
20:58You guys want to
20:58stick around for more so?
21:00I hope so.
21:01This, by the way,
21:02isn't the end of
21:02NECA reviews
21:03for the rest of this week.
21:04There are, in fact,
21:05more coming your way.
21:06So I hope you're
21:06going to be coming
21:07back for those.
21:08As always,
21:08thanks for watching.
21:09See you guys next time.
