00:00what's up guys to do poker back for
00:07another video today we're going to be
00:08going over two tricks you can use versus
00:11fish to increase your win rate the first
00:15one is i will show you a hand example i
00:18have two hand examples that i played
00:20recently and we're going to show you the
00:22data behind why we do what we do okay so
00:25this is hand number one we're in the big
00:26blind hijack who is a fish min raises
00:30always call pre-flop okay so now here
00:34now we know from mda let's look at the mda
00:39this is not hijack first big blind but it
00:42has similar tendencies remember fish do
00:46not really understand position so they
00:48play very similarly between under the gun
00:53hijack cutoff and button okay so let's
00:56look at the mda what do you notice in the
00:59button verse big blind mda you notice that
01:03versus a dog bet they under fold okay they
01:08under fold versus dogs we also notice
01:12they over raise versus dogs okay so i am
01:16incentivized to dog my value okay it's
01:20very important talk your value all right
01:23so let's look at the actual hand so in
01:25game i know this i flop top pair i donk
01:29small i get raised i call okay okay now the
01:32turn not a great turn for our actual hand
01:35but we know they over barrel okay so here
01:38he bets again i call now river now this is a
01:41very bad river for us so if he bets here we
01:44have to fold but remember they over raise
01:51flop and they under fold okay so two good data points to dog value number three
01:56they're going to over barrel turn and they also bet merged okay so let's see
02:01what happened so he decides to check back and he's betting merged remember fish bet
02:07merged okay so the higher absolute value you hand you have the more you want to
02:13donk flop okay because we're inducing a raise we also know the under fold okay so
02:20that's hand number one all right let's go to hand number two

02:34pre-flop versus the fish this guy's a fish okay how do we know he's a fish

02:46okay so we got it we want to go wider pre-flop
02:49okay so we raise up 2.4x the big blind calls who's a fish okay now we go one
02:55third range on the flop okay this is our fish strategy
02:59all right now he calls now on the turn we want to check back turn here because
03:08getting raised is a disaster okay we want to see if we can hit our straight so we
03:12should always check back turn here okay so we decide to check and we miss okay
03:17now on the river our opponent bets around 30 percent okay and we have nothing
03:25okay now i raise and he folds now what's going on here okay let's look at some
03:32data for this okay this is the check call 30 check bet line from the
03:39fish okay what do we notice well we notice
03:44they are over bluffing right gto at 100 supposed to be 33 gto at 70 supposed to be
03:5230 you know what i mean 50 is 25 30 20 right they're over bluffing okay but if
04:01we have air meaning we can't even be the bluff
04:06what should we do well let's go to the folding percentages
04:10okay we can use the calculator to figure this out
04:14okay so in the hand
04:15in the hand the pot is 194 okay now he bets 51 okay and i risk 199 so we have
04:31to do risk i'm risking 199 okay divided by risk plus reward so divided by my risk
04:40plus the reward so it's 199 divided by 199 plus 245 which is
04:47444 okay so we need him to fold 45 percent of the time
04:54okay now let's look at the data we see from the data when he bets 30
05:01he folds 59 percent over huge samples over 2 000 hands okay
05:05so we know there's a 14 percent overlay if we go 3 to 3.5 x sizing
05:12now you see the same thing at bet 50 or bet 70
05:16now it changes at bet 100 they start over calling okay
05:20so you only want to use this raise move first the check call 30 check bet
05:25when they bet between 30 and 70 okay
05:28or even 10 so in conclusion so in conclusion we want to one
05:34donk our value versus fish because they under
05:40fold and over raise versus a donk lead and number two we want to raise our
05:47bluffs versus check call 30 check bet when they bet between 30 and 70 percent
05:54because there's an over fold okay we can we can prove this with mda
