00:40The name of this Ekadashi, which destroys all kinds of sins, is Aja Ekadashi.

00:46By doing its Vrat, man becomes free from all sins.

00:51The person who worships Lord Rishikesh on this day definitely attains Vaikuntha.

00:58Now I will tell you its story.

01:00So listen carefully.

01:02In ancient times, in the dynasty of Lord Ram, there was a king named King Harishchandra in Ayodhya.

01:11King Harishchandra was famous for his honesty and truthfulness.

01:17Once the gods made a plan to test him.

01:21The king saw in a dream that he has given all his kingdom to Rishi Vishwamitra.

01:28In the morning, Vishwamitra actually came to his door and said,

01:32You have given me your kingdom in a dream.

01:35The king followed the true Vrat and handed over the entire kingdom to Vishwamitra.

01:41To repay the donation, King Harishchandra had to sell himself, his wife and son due to his previous birth.

01:51Harishchandra was bought by a dhoma, who used to get people's funeral rites done in the cemetery.

01:59He himself became a servant of Vaheg Chandal.

02:02He did the work of taking the coffin from that Chandal.

02:06But he did not leave the truth in the work of this opposition.

02:10When he spent many years like this, he was very saddened by his bad deeds.

02:16And he started looking for a way to get rid of it.

02:19He was always in this worry that what should I do?

02:23How can I get rid of this bad deed?

02:26Once upon a time, he was sitting in this worry that Gautam Rishi came to him.

02:32Harishchandra bowed to him and started telling his sad story.

02:37Hearing the sad story of King Harishchandra, King Gautam was also very sad.

02:43And he said to the King, O King! The name of the Krishna Paksha Ekadashi of Bhado Maha is Aja.

02:50You should do the Vrat of that Ekadashi as per the Vedas and wake up at night.

02:55This will destroy all your sins.

02:58Saying this, King Gautam became elated.

03:02Upon the arrival of the Ekadashi named Aja, King Harishchandra,

03:06as per Maharishi's words, fasted and woke up at night as per the Vedas.

03:11Due to the effect of this Vrat, all the sins of the King were destroyed.

03:16At that time, there were thunders in heaven.

03:19And it started raining flowers.

03:21He found Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh and Devendra in front of him.

03:28He saw his dead son alive and his wife full of royal clothes and ornaments.

03:35Due to the effect of the Vrat, the King regained his kingdom.

03:40In reality, a sage had written all this to test the King.

03:45But due to the effect of the Vrat of Aja Ekadashi, all the illusion created by the sage ended.

03:52And in the end, Harishchandra went to heaven along with his family.

03:57O King, all this was due to the effect of the Vrat of Aja Ekadashi.

04:01All the sins of the people who fast regularly and wake up at night are destroyed.

04:09And in the end, they reach heaven.

04:12Only by listening to the story of this Ekadashi Vrat,

04:16the fruits of the Ashwamedha Yajna are obtained.
