00:00 Should we be a little worried with the amount of bobbing these kids are doing in the bus?
00:04 Here's your spooky spot in the Royal Bobble's Trick or Treat Bagwell Bobblehead resin bobblehead statue.
00:11 [music]
00:39 Trick or Treat is a must watch during the Halloween season.
00:42 Represent your favorite character from the legendary flick when you get this officially licensed paper bag kid bobblehead statue.
00:48 Put this decoration wherever you please and make it clear you're the ultimate fan.
00:52 I will be leaving all of you with lollipops in a second.
00:55 I don't probably think it was unnecessary to use the shackles.
00:58 I just want to make sure that you guys weren't going anywhere.
01:01 Before we get a closer look though at Bagwell Bobblehead or the paper bag kid from Trick or Treat,
01:07 I'd like to first thank the folks over at Royal Bobble's that did provide this sample we could have a look at.
01:12 This is available over on either Spirit Halloween's website.
01:15 Some would prefer that to be the go-to.
01:17 Or if you're lucky enough as well to find a local store in your area,
01:20 you can also find this currently on the shelves with the rest of the Royal Bobble's bobbleheads there.
01:25 Either way though, let's grab the tape measure and we'll see how tall the paper bag kid stands.
01:29 First in inches, you're looking at the bobblehead being about five and a half of that.
01:34 Or it's going to be about 14 centimeters tall.
01:37 And then to compare the kid in the bag to a kid that doesn't ride the bus,
01:40 here's what the figure looks like along the earlier looked at.
01:43 Now this was the unmasked or partially unmasked Sam lollipop, the lollipop slash bobblehead.
01:49 Now Sam, you can see is agreeing with me that he's going to be a little bit taller than the paper bag kid.
01:53 Only by just a little bit though.
01:57 So the paper bag kid is one of eight ill-fated children that see their demise at one sad day
02:02 when the bus driver gets bribes from the parents, of course, to then dispose of the children.
02:07 And of course, the one kid that realizes wrong way, wrong way, wrong way,
02:12 ends up piloting the front or driving the front of the bus, of course, off the ravine into the chasm down below.
02:17 Now this is one of eight kids.
02:19 I hope at one point we are going to be getting the remaining kids from the Royal Bobble's.
02:22 I hate to think that we're only going to be getting just the one.
02:25 When my personal favorite at least is in fact the kid that realizes they're going wrong way, wrong way.
02:30 I would love to get the Dracula kid done the same way as what Royal Bobble's has done here with the paper bag kid.
02:36 Picking though up the kid, differently done this time around instead of actually having itself a square base
02:41 like we've got with lots of the Royal Bobble's so far, this is actually a circular base.
02:45 And if we carefully spin this around, you can see that on the bottom of it is an officially licensed Royal Bobble's
02:50 trick or treat Royal Bobble bobblehead.
02:52 You can check out their website, of course, by going over to www.royalbobbles.com
02:57 where you can also do the simpler thing of scanning that QR code if you're able to do that.
03:02 There's no rubberized feet. I guess it may have something to do with the fact it's just the size of the base
03:06 is a little bit smaller.
03:07 Like Sam's for example, we already had a look at Sam, has a square base.
03:11 So there's a lot more afforded space to actually incorporate some additional rubberized feet.
03:15 So you may want to be a little bit more careful of just sliding this around on the surface.
03:18 The paper bag kid, I mean certainly as a namesake goes, what a better way to really describe the kid.
03:24 Wearing a paper bag, but it's not just the paper bag alone.
03:27 You can see that the kid has spent a little bit of time and actually detailing the bag.
03:30 Adding not only rather scary looking teeth, but obviously areas of the eyes.
03:34 So you'd be able to see out of them.
03:36 Now this one I didn't realize was actually walking around wearing a grain rice bag.
03:41 I mean, look at the size of the kid and then look at the bag of rice.
03:44 That's a pretty big bag of rice.
03:46 Not that I'm an expert when it comes to bags of rice, but I think that that would feed quite a large family.
03:51 I guess they just buy their rice in surplus.
03:54 But you can see like it actually even has those little details here.
03:57 Some of which are a little harder to see.
03:59 It actually says enriched rice on the top.
04:01 It says grain rice.
04:02 It tells you exactly how much is in there.
04:04 I just can't quite make it out.
04:06 What I can though make out is the fact that the kid is also carrying around a tiny little pail.
04:10 Now come on child, that's going to be carrying very little in the way of candy.
04:13 You need to carry a lot bigger of a bucket to be storing all the treats that you're going to be getting.
04:18 Now I'm guessing the kids are also going to be going to school and probably likely then handing around their treats that way.
04:23 The bus driver of course is handing around some lollipops just before the bus driver takes the tour.
04:29 It takes a different direction of course.
04:31 Now the coloring on this one again is really nicely done.
04:33 Not only do you have the brown color, I like the way they've actually got sort of the impressions.
04:38 How crumpled up a paper bag would actually be.
04:42 And I think it's really done nicely here.
04:44 Of course underneath it, while you wouldn't be able to see a face, you can see at least there's a part of a chin and a neck there as well.
04:50 And of course attaching to what would be a face is a spring instead.
04:54 The spring not only attaches to the top of the neck, but then glues itself inside the cavity of the bag.
04:59 That allows of course the bobble head to move back and forth.
05:02 Now this is of course as always a resin bobble head, so you will want to be a little bit careful when it comes to putting this obviously on display that it doesn't actually get banged or dropped in any way.
05:11 The detail though, the attention to detail, not only just to the large bag of rice, you can see like they've colored the sleeves there as well.
05:17 Like the hands seem really short, but again like the proportions of a lot of these kids, they sort of seem a little off proportioned anyways.
05:24 Some of the kids are really tall, or at least the costumes are really really tall, like that demon one that's in the background.
05:28 And again they're all of sort of varying in sizes.
05:31 But I really like this one, I like this one a lot.
05:33 The thing I hope though, the whole time of looking at this one, is the fact that while they've nicely handled here the paper bag kid,
05:39 I hope in fact we do get the rest of the kids.
05:41 There was what, a total of eight?
05:43 With my personal favorite being the Dracula vampire kid that knows right away they're going the wrong way.
05:48 Really again, nice work from the folks over at Royal Baubles.
05:50 Now again, like this one here is a Spirit Store exclusive, so if you guys are interested and want to get this one for yourself,
05:55 you have to check out your local Spirit Halloweens, whether again you have one in your local area or not.
06:00 If not, you can always go the easier route of going of course online.
06:03 Going online of course I think is mostly just a US site.
06:06 So if you're a Canadian collector like myself, I've just actually placed an order on Spirit Halloween to kind of get some of those few little things that I haven't been able to find in local stores.
06:14 And of course you have to worry about the conversion that goes along with it.
06:16 This being a premium resin bobble head, first of all, it's going to be about $39.99 for the paper bag kid.
06:23 That also goes as well for the earlier looked at Sam, which once again we can bring back in for comparisons.
06:27 Yeah, really nice looking bobble heads.
06:29 Not ones I obviously aren't just going to have out for Halloween.
06:32 No, in fact, I like to think I could celebrate Halloween all year round.
06:36 So I long was celebrating that Halloween season all year round.
06:39 Also as well, these bobble heads will be on my shelf from January all the way through to the end of December.
06:46 Upon closer inspection, I realized that's a 50 pound bag of rice.
06:50 Who in their right mind is buying 50 pounds of rice and how much does a 50 pound bag of rice go for?
06:56 I don't know that.
06:57 What I do know though, is that the paper bag kid is going for $39.99 again over on Spirit Halloween's website.
07:04 Or if you're lucky enough, again, you can always check your local Spirit Halloween's.
07:07 Although I have noticed though with Spirit Halloween's over the last several years of going to their stores,
07:11 that they're not always great and no faulting at all Spirit Halloween,
07:15 but they're not always great for getting the stock back on shelves.
07:17 Bobble heads, especially, it seems to be the case that they sell out right away.
07:21 And then they may stock a few of them, but they may not stock all of them again.
07:26 I think last year, in fact, when I went back to get myself the Ghost Face, Ghost Face had just completely sold out.
07:32 And I had asked the person that was working behind the counter,
07:34 "What's the likelihood that you're going to be getting any more of the bobble heads?"
07:37 And I think they even said, "Well, we're not going to be getting any more this year."
07:39 So not that that's the case across the board with everything,
07:42 but I would certainly say if you guys are interested and you like to collect the bobble heads every single year,
07:46 when Spirit Halloween does open up their doors, it's always kind of best to kind of go into that store.
07:50 It's not even just the bobble heads, but just really anything that they have in their store.
07:53 Try to get the stock when the stock is just shelved and not wait any longer.
07:57 If you wait till the end of the year or wait till the end, at least, of the Halloween season,
08:01 the likelihood of then finding this stuff is going to be slim to none.
08:04 You can always, again, go the route of going online.
08:06 And sometimes it's also good as well to go order things online
08:09 because every once in a while there's coupon codes that you can then save yourself
08:12 a little bit of additional money off the whatever the price is.
08:15 And just recently, in fact, I actually just ordered a whole bunch of stuff on Spirit Halloween.
08:20 So leading that then into the upcoming reviews, there's going to be a lot of stuff coming your way
08:25 during the month of Spottober. But going back to the paper bag kid, really nice detail on this one.
08:30 I think my favorite thing about the paper bag kid is the fact he's got that big smile
08:33 sort of stuck on the front of the bag. Is that just a picture of his own teeth?
08:37 He just cut that out and stuck it on the bag.
08:40 Again, I'm asking all these questions I really don't have answers for.
08:43 Who buys a 50 pound bag of rice and is that actually the teeth taken a photo of
08:47 from the kid that's underneath the bag? And he just stuck that on the front of the bag.
08:51 I'm sure nobody's going to have answers for either one of those.
08:54 Maybe there might be answers for the rice, not likely going to be the answer for whose teeth those actually are.
08:58 One thing I certainly would also like to do is thank the folks over at Royal Baubles
09:02 that did again come through and provide the sample of the Trick or Treat paper bag kid.
09:06 He's also called on the bot Bagwell Baublehead.
09:09 So you can either call him Bagwell or I don't know if that's actually his last name
09:12 or that's just the name he's been given.
09:14 It'd be funny if his last name is in fact Bagwell and he thought,
09:17 "Hey, you know what, Mom and Dad, our names are Bagwell.
09:20 I might as well just be a paper bag kid for Halloween."
09:23 That's a kid that has ideas.
09:25 Your idea certainly is to come back to this channel to the rest of Spottober.
09:29 Make sure you do a couple of things for yourself.
09:31 First of all, if you don't mind, do me a solid.
09:33 If you enjoyed this video, hit with a like.
09:35 But if you guys are loving the content you guys are seeing and you certainly do want to come back for more,
09:38 please and thank you. Make sure if you haven't already done so that you hit that subscribe button down below
09:42 and also as well turning on the bell notification.
09:44 Hey, now what? Charlie the ghost was just whispering something in my ear. Sorry.
09:48 Oh, okay.
09:50 Yeah, I also just certainly want to let you guys know that there may be also some ghost related.
09:53 See, I said it. I was going to say it to everybody.
09:56 There's going to be some ghost related reviews also coming your way.
09:59 All right. Charlie the ghost is happy.
10:01 But it's definitely going to be a lot more coming your way, guys.
10:03 So make sure you're coming back always on a regular basis.
10:06 And as always, thanks for watching. See you guys next time.
