00:03 A new banking hub will open its doors for the first time in Derbyshire next week.
00:08 The hub will be based at the former Fulton's Food Supermarket on the parade at Bridge Street in Claycross.
00:14 It will be the town's first permanent banking facility since Lloyd's closed its Derby Road branch six years ago.
00:21 The hub will provide shared spaces with dedicated rooms where customers can see staff from their own bank.
00:27 It will open for the first time on Wednesday November 15th
00:31 and three local team members have been employed to provide customer support at the hub.
00:35 An announcement on which bank each member of staff will be representing will be announced in the coming days.
00:41 One of the world's oldest railway stations has been taken off the Heritage at Risk register after being saved from ruin in Derbyshire.
00:50 A major renovation project at Wingfield station was completed last month
00:55 resulting in the building's absence from this year's National Register of Sites that are threatened by neglect, decay or inappropriate development.
01:03 The 184 year old station was in private ownership when it was added to the Heritage at Risk register in 2015 after falling into disrepair.
01:13 As the site continued to deteriorate, Historic England, supported by the local authority,
01:18 pursued a repairs notice and in 2019 the site was subject of a compulsory purchase order.
01:24 Once acquired by the local authority, the site was then passed to Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust for repair work to begin.
