00:00 I figure you can pick up even if you're not the mama. Here's a look at the brand new neck of toys dinosaurs baby Sinclair
00:06 (Dinosaur Roar)
00:09 (Dinosaur Roar)
00:11 (Dinosaur Roar)
00:39 The Sinclairs are your average family with one big difference
00:42 They're talking dinosaurs living in the year 60 million 3 BC Jim Henson's creatures for dinosaurs made this early 1990s show a comedy hit
00:49 That's still certifiably fresh now
00:51 You can bring home a little bit of the Jurassic with neck as detailed action figures
00:55 Baby Sinclair is the youngest child of the Sinclair family and has enough attitude for the whole clan
00:59 His favorite pastime is walking his father Earl on the head with a frying pan. He is the baby
01:05 Now just before the baby gets unfortunately all prehistoric on his father Earl's head with a frying pan
01:10 Let's grab the tape measure and see how tall the figure stands
01:12 You may have already noticed I've got the figure still displayed inside his high chair as I'm sure that's the way that you're probably gonna
01:18 Be having the figure displayed if you include that then baby Sinclair stands at about or sits at about five and a quarter inches
01:24 In height or the figure is gonna be about 14 centimeters tall if though you wanted just the baby alone
01:30 Let's just see if we can measure off the baby
01:32 You're looking at baby Sinclair on its own up only being about two and a quarter inches in height or it's gonna be about six
01:38 centimeters tall I
01:40 Was trying to think of a figure I could have compared along with baby Sinclair having not yet picked up Earl Sinclair
01:46 So obviously I can't bring him in for comparisons
01:48 I wanted to at least pick a character that NECA has done that's a little outside the norm
01:52 So I want to bring in at least elf got a love elf elf
01:55 You can see when you're comparing it less against baby Sinclair obviously still including the high chair goes to a boat
02:00 I would say maybe the eyebrows the eyebrows of Gordon Shumway here
02:04 Despite his very obviously small sized stature NECA still manages to pack baby Sinclair with really quite a lot of accessories
02:11 Most of those accessories at least the things that he can hold at least has dedicated hands for holding those accessories
02:16 The figure also as well comes include a couple of baby toys and he also comes in clue with an interchangeable head sculpt
02:22 Backtracking just a little bit first of the smallest of those accessories the figure comes included with a caveman cookie
02:28 Is it just me or does the caveman cookie look a little bit like Lisa Simpson from The Simpsons?
02:33 As already mentioned a dedicated hand for holding that he has a slightly smaller gripped hand you can take then the caveman cookie
02:41 Careful careful not to drop it and baby Sinclair of course can hold the cookie
02:45 Like I say, he seems to have all the necessary hands for holding basically everything
02:49 The figure also comes included with a baby bottle the baby bottle looks to be molded here in white plastic
02:55 The end nipple if you will that has been painted nicely here in brown and he also comes in clue with a hand to hold
03:00 That the light slightly biggest or probably the biggest gripping hand is best for holding the baby bottle may not be the best for for example
03:07 Holding the baseball bat the baseball bat the spoon and the frying pan are all things
03:12 I'm sure you could whack on the head of Earl with eventually when I do get myself an Earl
03:16 I'm looking forward to displaying baby Sinclair in mid swing. Maybe Earl Sinclair sort of just
03:21 Cowering I would be cowering as well if I'm getting getting anything close to this baby that he can start swinging at me
03:27 Like I said, he does come include with a baseball bat nicely molded and painted here
03:31 It looks to be like the handle is but the only thing that's been painted on the baseball bat
03:34 Figure as well comes in clue with a wooden spoon
03:36 Not when one spoon necessarily because obviously this is based more for the figure
03:40 So it's been cast here in plastic instead
03:42 The plastic though is a little bit more fragile just be careful of this and he also has a hand for holding the spoon
03:48 This one has from first glance. It actually kind of looks like he's just more pointing at Earl than anything else
03:53 Maybe he's pointing and saying not the mama, but you'll notice on the top there
03:57 There's a hole and if you follow it to the bottom
03:59 There's a hole that goes all the way through you can take your wooden spoon and feed it through
04:03 But just want to make sure that you line everything up and you can also hold the spoon that way as well
04:06 What else does he come include he comes in clue with a frying pan?
04:09 I want to make sure I cover off all the territory a frying pan again good for whacking people on the heads
04:14 Poor Earl move that to the side going back though to the cookie the figure also comes in clue with a cookie creature
04:20 The cookie creature nicely painted with big large bug eyes. It doesn't have unfortunately any articulation in it
04:26 I don't really think it necessarily needed for this size. Anyways, I don't think anybody would be saying ah, geez
04:31 Really wish the cookie creature could have come in clue with articulation in the head. No ways
04:35 I'm sure gonna be saying that I'm sure probably tons of people gonna be saying that now in the comment section
04:39 By the way, all these accessories also can really sit easily on the top tray of the high chair
04:43 We're gonna talk more about that in a moment
04:45 The figure also comes include a bowl a mixing bowl
04:47 If you want you could also as well I suppose take the bowl and put it on top of the baby's head
04:51 You know cover over top of the baby's eyes that way
04:54 She he also comes included with a little TV remote
04:58 The remote looks to be again cast in silver plastic little knobs and dials have been painted nicely here both in black and red down
05:05 Below here very small little details and be all displayed with the figure. What else does he have?
05:09 He has a slingshot nice little slingshot to be displayed the back sling of the slingshot is a softer plastic
05:16 Well, the front actually prongs of it is a much harder plastic. And again, if you wanted to use let's say
05:21 What's the best hand for holding this? Well, he probably would have here we go. That's the other hand the other hand right there again
05:27 You can have him really again
05:28 holding everything that he comes included kind of always disappointed really when a company releases a figure and then includes say
05:34 accessories and then you go to try to find a hand that goes with those and you're like
05:38 Well, I don't I have the closest thing you never really want the closest thing
05:42 Neck always seems to deliver the right hands and I'm always happy for that
05:45 The figure also comes in clue with all these little toy animals dinosaurs, of course
05:49 Which is somewhat ironic because I guess it's not it's not that far off because obviously like as a baby
05:54 You probably would have had little tiny well, maybe not you but you probably if he has sister
05:57 For example probably grew up playing with dolls, but we would have little miniature humans
06:01 I don't think it's that it's not that much of a stretch to think that really a baby dinosaur
06:05 Would not just have little baby dinosaurs. But what other references do they really have you get yourself like a little?
06:10 I don't know if that would be a T-rex
06:12 Stegosaurus, I'm probably think it's a little bit more like a T-rex get yourself a Brontosaurus. Is that Alto Altosaurus?
06:18 Albertosaurus I was grew up just with Bronco Brontosaurus comes include that it also comes included with
06:24 Trying to think of the name of this dinosaur
06:26 Oh, I'm drawing a bit of a blank somebody all I'm sure will tell me down below here painted nicely though for really what it
06:31 is
06:33 It's on the tip of my tongue
06:35 Leave it with me leave it with me and the last thing that the figure comes in clue with isn't necessarily though a dinosaur
06:41 It's Georgie the hippo
06:42 Again, I'm just kind of thinking the referencing points for this everything in this in this show was all referenced to dinosaurs
06:48 I don't know really where the idea of a hippopotamus would come into play because really a hippopotamus wouldn't have even existed back
06:54 What 60 million and three BC I was kind of funny that they had to add a little three on the end of it
07:00 Herbie Herbie doesn't have Georgie. Sorry Georgie the hippo doesn't have any articulation kind of look for a second
07:06 Like you would be able to rotate the head but not the case at all. Jordy has no pose ability
07:10 What whatsoever those are all the accessories to come include?
07:13 I know for all that I mean how much time would we just eaten up just by looking at the accessories?
07:17 Like I said for how small he really is
07:19 He comes with quite a lot the last thing that baby Sinclair also comes include with is the Golden Horn head
07:26 Reference I think only in one episode baby Sinclair or maybe it was more than one episode grew himself a little golden horn
07:32 I'm not gonna really necessarily be displaying baby Sinclair with the golden horn myself
07:38 but the fact that they actually included a nice touch on NECA's part and
07:42 Then the last thing that the figure comes in clear with is basically all the setup of the high chair
07:46 Now I've already taken the liberty of add already adding baby Sinclair inside the high chair
07:50 It does take a little bit of moving things around in order to accommodate it
07:54 Technically you could also consider the back blanket as one other thing. That's really an accessory
07:58 This is something that's separate inside the tray and basically just fits over over top the back of the chair just like that
08:04 The figure also comes with a tail. That's something that you're gonna have to add as well
08:08 I would always recommend really when it comes to the tail for baby Sinclair put the tail in obviously
08:13 Once you put the baby in the chair and then just put the tail tail on afterwards
08:17 I don't even really put it on that much either
08:19 I just put it on just enough that the ball joint hits it and then it stays in place
08:23 Because if I ever want to take then baby Sinclair out of the chair
08:26 I don't have to worry about that, you know again just kind of force this off the ball joint
08:30 Now baby actually wasn't part of the chair when you first get him out of the packaging
08:34 What you had to do first remove the tail here you had you have to get the baby inside the chair now
08:39 I don't know if you can actually gauge by the size of the baby. He's he's a big boy
08:43 He's not gonna fit in the chair just simply by sliding him into the back
08:47 What you have to do is actually have to take the tray off a little uneasy about doing this
08:51 Really you have to detach it. There's a peg right here. And if you look to the other side, there's a peg right there
08:56 You have to detach these two first
08:58 Just kind of wiggle them back and forth till finally they're off the pegs
09:01 And then while you sort of holding baby Sinclair now you just do this in the reverse steps
09:05 obviously if you're putting him into the chair
09:06 Then you take the back of the chair or take the back of the tray and yet slide it forward
09:11 And again, you want to just make sure there we go. You just slide it forward while you're sliding it forward though
09:16 Just be careful that you're not getting too close to those pegs
09:18 If you have it close to the pegs and you're you know, of course sliding it forward
09:22 You're gonna probably hit that peg and it'll break it right off
09:24 But you're just gonna slide it right off like that
09:27 then you're gonna take baby Sinclair and just remove it completely from the chair and
09:30 Then when you put it back
09:31 Is this the case of like these little grooves for all intents and purposes should actually fit inside of these crevices
09:36 These little pegs into these crevices and then again like the chair just fits in place
09:40 You kind of just peg it down peg it down the other side
09:44 But how's you just think I don't know if I really like the idea of having pegs like this of such a narrow variety
09:49 I just feel like that's something that could potentially break off the chair for the number of times that you're probably gonna be removing baby
09:55 Now you probably may not be removing him that often
09:57 I'm removing him at least from now so you guys can actually see what the baby looks like without his chair
10:02 Of course, the only other thing to do is put back on the tail just put the tail like that for right now
10:06 Yeah, a nice-looking baby Sinclair. I never really liked baby
10:09 Honestly loved watching dinosaurs, but baby I was found for obvious reasons was the most annoying character in the show
10:15 Certainly does look nice as a plastic release neck has done once again a bang-up job on this
10:19 I'm definitely looking forward to getting Earl Sinclair Earl is one of my favorite characters in the series. I always loved Earl's boss, too
10:25 I was trying to name the actor who was actually playing Earl's boss
10:28 I'll come back to I'll come back to it head sculpt wise really good on this one
10:31 The paint is really top-notch, too
10:33 I mean the parts that you wouldn't expect necessarily need to be painted
10:36 They've gone in for example and painted around the chubby cheeks there in a slightly darker color guys pop definitely on this figure and again
10:43 I love the open mouth
10:43 You can actually even maybe see that there's tiny little teeth that they took the time to paint inside the mouth
10:48 Now if you didn't want to change this out to the golden horn, we're just gonna remove the head from the ball joint
10:52 I couldn't imagine how easy it was to remove the head until I actually did it just easily pops off
10:57 Pops it back in and they've got of course the baby with the golden horn
11:01 Spots are nicely done here on the back of the figures body
11:04 Again, I don't probably see myself ever really displaying the baby with the golden horn myself
11:08 But I love the idea that at least you get ourselves an interchangeable head sculpt
11:11 Also got of course the brightly colored shirt that he has a nicely
11:15 Brightly done here in yellow a little bit of a tummy sticking out and a very large diaper
11:19 Something tells me without getting too close to this that baby needs a change in I'm not changing
11:24 I'm not going anywhere near baby for of course the fear that he's gonna start swinging a frying pan at me
11:28 He can't stand really on his own just for the obvious reasons
11:31 He's only gonna always be in a sitting pose like this, but still yet the baby still possesses some decent articulation for the head
11:37 For example, it's gonna be on a ball joint
11:38 So it does rotate back and forth periodically though
11:40 You may find yourself unless you put it all the way down there
11:43 There we go
11:43 The head does pop off from time to time head looks up head looks down and you can move it also back and forth
11:48 I for a second thought that there was a hinge there in the job
11:51 It clearly isn't the case you can kind of see that it's a pretty come pretty fully solid mold
11:56 There's no real way that there's gonna be articulation there for the jaw
11:59 But that does rotate somewhat all the way around if you wanted to the arms do as well move forward and back
12:04 There's a hinge out as well. So you can bring those arms outward. There is a swivel here not in the forearm necessarily
12:10 But there's a swivel here in the hand where you can rotate them all the way around
12:12 There's a hinge back and forth. The upper torso is gonna be on a ball joint the lower legs
12:17 Well this section of the body isn't gonna have any pose ability
12:20 But you can move at least the legs back and forth
12:22 You can also move where the knee would normally be back and forth there as well and the tiny little feet
12:27 Look at these little piggies. Did they go to the market?
12:29 Would they have had piggies? I don't think they had piggies in the series. There's also of course hinge ability hinge ability
12:36 Hinge ability any ankle you move it back and forth this way
12:40 Squeezing those little chubby little sausages and again, you can move them back and forth this way as well for me at least again
12:45 I'm gonna pop the head off that has the golden horn. Just not my thing not my thing
12:49 And we'll get the regular defaulted head back in place
12:52 Now again, if you guys wanted to put this guy back in his chair, I mean, you can't put him in this way
12:56 You're gonna have to first take the tray off which again will just require I'm not gonna do this too often
13:01 I think really after this review this guy's gonna be always permanently inside of his high chair
13:04 But we're just gonna detach it from either side and we're just gonna slide it out like that
13:08 Take the baby. You could try to keep the tail in if you want to it's just a case of kind of hooking it down
13:13 like this
13:14 Plunking the baby down in place or again, if you wanted to you can always add the tail after the fact
13:18 Take yourself once again the tray make sure I've got it facing the right way
13:23 Slide it all the way to the back while you're doing it kind of keep it lifted up
13:26 So it's not gonna clip those points in the process because I've done this a couple of times and I found myself as I was
13:32 Moving the tray inward. I found myself sort of starting to bend the peg and I stopped I stopped I said, oh, yeah
13:38 I can't go any further with that, but just line everything up push everything down in place
13:42 And now you got yourself the baby back in the chair
13:45 The only thing left to really do is take of course the little blanket slide that onto the back
13:48 I thought for like why would they have included the blanket a separate piece?
13:52 From what I remember at least I think most of the time in the series
13:55 He always always had the blanket on the back of the chair
13:57 But again, they made it as a separate piece
13:59 So if you wanted to have baby Sinclair with the high chair without the blanket easily just leave it off if you want to
14:03 Nice looking figure don't like baby Sinclair in the series
14:06 In fact, that was one of my least favorite characters in the series of dinosaurs
14:09 I'm loving the fact that we finally get ourselves dinosaur figures
14:12 I'm really so excited really stoked to get my hands on Earl Sinclair my favorite character from the series here wrapping up the review for
14:19 Baby Sinclair I've got the figure displayed with a couple of things to keep himself occupied
14:22 Even though I can't help but notice he's got himself a frying pan in one hand
14:26 So I'm gonna tread cautiously and of course stay at a far enough distance
14:28 I've got the figure displayed at least with two of his toys and the TV remote that dinosaur by the way
14:33 I was trying to think of his ankylosaurus. I should have thought ankles and not that I would be thinking
14:38 Oh ankles ankylosaurus, but he has an ankylosaurus
14:41 He also has that green dinosaur nowhere to be found right now at least just because there's well
14:44 There's not enough room on him
14:46 There's no place to of course to have the figure display with Georgie the hippo Georgie the hippo
14:50 I don't know really where his whereabouts are if it's anything like the toys I have in my house
14:53 There's probably somewhere under the couch
14:55 I do like the way that they've actually got the figure displayed here inside the chair, of course for obvious reasons
15:00 There's no way to really have baby Sinclair. Well, he could sit on his own. The kids don't really like to be left unattended
15:06 It's probably not also a good idea to leave anything especially like a baby dinosaur unattended
15:09 But he doesn't obviously have the means to stand on his own
15:12 He's always gonna be in a sitted position with a very large full dine a dinosaur diaper from what I can see at least
15:17 Really like the look of this one and out of nowhere, too
15:20 When they first announced that they were doing dinosaur figures, I sort of thought and what wait dinosaur figures that came out left field
15:27 But always leave it up to NECA toys like they did with elf from before
15:30 Always surprised us collectors of their toys by introducing lines that we already knew we are gonna be getting eventually
15:37 But then every once in a while those obscure licenses like dinosaurs
15:41 Have you collected baby Sinclair? Let me know down below in the comment section
15:44 What you guys think of the line and did you girls who grow up watching dinosaurs?
15:47 I think it's one series that I watched the entire series of even the very depressing last episode
15:53 Has anyone ever seen the last episode of dinosaurs?
15:56 Talk about depressing
15:58 Anyways, though if you guys are interested
15:59 This one is available as of right now in retail stores and online if you guys are interested to get this one for yourself
16:04 Also, hey if you guys enjoyed this video
