01:2411 monster drag artists from around the world who met each other for the first time right
01:25here on this stage.
01:26Let's take a look at their first moments in the competition.
01:27Hello, uglies.
01:28It's time to meet your competitors.
01:29Madeline Hatter.
01:30Madeline Hatter.
01:31Never heard of it.
01:32I'm a huge fan of Violencia's donut and her donut titties because it makes my fat rolls
01:33jiggle with delight.
01:34I'm just communicating that I just wasn't impressed.
01:35You glued a gem to your chest, which is a very pretty gem.
01:36Bitch, I love Madeline Hatter.
01:37Every young queen knows who she is.
01:38She's old as fuck, so.
01:39I'm just communicating that I just wasn't impressed.
01:40You glued a gem to your chest, which is a very pretty gem.
01:41Bitch, I love Madeline Hatter.
01:42Every young queen knows who she is.
01:43She's old as fuck, so.
01:44Hey, everybody.
01:45I'm Priscilla Chambers.
01:46Priscilla looked good, but she smelled like an ashtray.
01:47Hi, my name is Maxi Glamour.
01:48Oh, my gosh.
01:49Maxi Glamour.
01:50I love the avatar.
01:51Well, I am Louisiana Purchase.
01:52The other queens think I'm an old bitch, but I have tricks up my sleeve.
01:53I am here for two things.
01:54To prove that you're not a bitch.
01:55To prove that you're not a bitch.
01:56To prove that you're not a bitch.
01:57To prove that you're not a bitch.
01:58To prove that you're not a bitch.
01:59To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:00To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:01To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:02to prove that you're not a bitch.
02:03To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:04To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:05To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:06To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:07To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:08To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:09To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:10To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:11To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:12To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:13To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:14To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:15To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:16To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:17To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:18To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:19To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:20To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:21To prove that you're not a bitch.
02:23Welcome to Dragula.
02:24I wanted to win the prize.
02:26I can't believe I'm doing this.
02:30This is the most diverse, interesting, amazing cast that I could imagine.
02:35The competition starts now.
02:43I'd just like to say I like you all a lot better when you were honest and nasty and mean.
02:47Madeline, how did you feel about winning a prize so quickly?
02:50It was very cool.
02:51Are you looking forward to the trip?
02:52It's like clothing optional, right?
02:53I was gonna say.
02:54She bitched at her.
02:55Hey girl, I'm gonna get some fucking trade now.
02:57You already know.
02:58That's what I gotta do.
02:59Trust me, I gotta do it.
03:00What about you, Landon?
03:01Now you had an extermination within the first moments of coming on stage.
03:04How did you feel about facing that?
03:05I was completely surprised, but I signed up for anything to be here.
03:09And so I knew this was a drop in the bucket of what you guys were gonna make us do.
03:13And honestly, it was the only extermination that I had to do to prove myself here.
03:17So I got it out of the way quickly.
03:18I don't think you'll get any tears out of this group, though.
03:20That's for sure.
03:21Did any of you feel like you were in over your heads?
03:23Did you have that moment of like, what have I done?
03:26I was completely excited.
03:27Everyone had their own distinct kind of like character.
03:30And so it was exciting.
03:32And it was also a little like, oh, fuck.
03:34It was like very intimidating.
03:36Like coming downstairs, seeing like Madeline, you know?
03:39Who doesn't know Madeline or Eva?
03:41You're a big old bitch, Madeline.
03:42We all know you.
03:43Fucking dick.
03:44I literally used to look at pictures of her when I was 15, learn how to paint my face.
03:48And then...
03:49That means you're old, bitch.
03:51That means you're old.
03:54Fuck you.
03:55You're like, thank you, fuck you.
03:59Every episode of the show ends with one of the competitors meeting their doom.
04:02But being the first out is always the hardest.
04:05Oh, fuck.
04:06Let's take a look.
04:07This is what I'm ready for.
04:11Fuck.
04:15I know I can conquer my fear and I can do this today.
04:18Like when does the parachute get pulled?
04:20How long are we like pre-falling for?
04:26I wish I was able to do this, but I don't know if I can.
04:35Sorry, you guys, I can't do this.
04:36What happened?
04:37I couldn't do it.
04:38I got on the plane.
04:39I buckled my seat.
04:40Everyone's all crammed in like right, like so tight.
04:43I was just, my heart was pounding.
04:44I felt like I was going to have a fucking heart attack.
04:46And I don't, I couldn't do it.
04:48And I'm just hoping Maxi fucking turns it out.
05:08This is a lot.
05:09And I'm really disappointed in myself that I couldn't get over my fear.
05:12I hope that everyone understands like why I chose not to do it.
05:15And I hope you guys aren't disappointed in me.
05:17And I'm really proud of Maxi for doing it.
05:19And I wish I could have been there with her doing it.
05:21But I let my fear get in the way.
05:24Couldn't get over my fucking fear.
05:32You fucking did that shit, Maxi.
05:34Oh my gosh, yes, but you look better.
05:35Violencia, you are our first competitor this season who had to face their fear.
05:39I kind of want to know where your head was that day.
05:42That was the toughest decision that I've ever had to make.
05:45And I honestly wish I could go back in time and disassociate my brain from my body.
05:49And just get myself to go out that fucking plane.
05:51But I wasn't able to do it.
05:53And I have to live with that forever.
05:55And it fucking sucks.
05:56Do you think if you had to face the challenge today, do you think you could do it?
06:00To be honest, I actually think I could.
06:02Really?
06:03Because of how much I fucking regret not doing it.
06:06I want to read you this line from the application.
06:08We want thrill seekers who are willing to do anything.
06:11What in your mind, why would you apply?
06:14Were you concerned that you might have to do something like that?
06:17It was a concern of mine that a heights thing was going to be happening.
06:21I thought maybe bungee jumping.
06:22I have a fear of planes and a fear of heights.
06:25It's like combining two fears into one.
06:27And it was just overload.
06:29It was a lot.
06:30But we did really good, didn't we then?
06:32You guys fucking did it.
06:34Maxi, you were scared as well, but you went through with it.
06:37Are you glad you did it?
06:38And tell us what your experience was like.
06:40I was scared.
06:41I was like, I'm also afraid of planes.
06:43And I was like, I could die.
06:44Then I was like, well, if I die, at least I look okay.
06:50I was so proud of you for doing that.
06:52I feel so bad for leaving you there on that plane.
06:54But you made it a couple more episodes.
06:56Yes.
06:57A few more.
06:58You did it, girl.
06:59You did it.
07:00Well, regardless of all this violence, you went through a lot to be here.
07:04We appreciate it.
07:05And we are happy to welcome you into the Dragula family.
07:07Even though we know you clearly won't be flying out to see us anytime soon.
07:16And now, St. Lucia, you were the second to be exterminated this season.
07:19And it didn't seem like you could really catch your groove.
07:22Was inexperience part of that equation?
07:25I felt like it was a mix between the inexperience.
07:28We had such a talented cast.
07:29I felt like, personally, I had to elevate myself to a level
07:32that I probably wasn't quite at to catch up with everyone else.
07:36Yeah, that's the thing.
07:37I mean, we don't cast people to go home.
07:39Yeah.
07:40So it was sort of anyone's game.
07:41But coming in, everyone is performing at a really high level.
07:44And if you're not ready for it, there's not a lot of time to catch up.
07:47We heard in the boudoir that you did all your tattoos yourself.
07:49Can you tell us a little bit about that?
07:51Growing up, I had a troubled childhood, as most gay young men have.
07:55Welcome to the club.
07:56Yes.
07:57And I was finding any way to lash out, any way I could.
08:00And instead of cutting myself or something, I did a lot of body modifications.
08:04How many tattoos do you have that you did yourself?
08:06I have 170.
08:08A hundred and what?
08:09170.
08:10Whoa.
08:11Shut the fuck up.
08:12Now, you didn't do all of those yourself, right?
08:14About 150 of them I did by myself.
08:16Wow.
08:17Wow.
08:18That's impressive.
08:19That really is.
08:20All right.
08:21We'll be right back with the Boulet Brothers' Dragula Season 3 Last Supper.
08:28BOULET BROTHERS
08:31Between the stress of being away from friends and family to long hours in drag
08:35and the constant threat of exterminations looming,
08:38the competition took an emotional toll on the cast in an unexpected way this season.
08:42Let's take a look.
08:44I want to stay, but it's just like...
08:46I just feel so embarrassed week after week after week.
08:49And it's just like, I don't know what I can do differently, you know?
08:52It's just...
08:53This is going to fucking destroy me.
08:55This is going to destroy my career.
08:57I would change not a single thing.
08:59No, I'm not going home.
09:01I can't.
09:02I am not here to be translated for anyone but women.
09:05I mean, if I go home, they're going to look at me like I'm a fucking failure.
09:08Maybe I'll stay, maybe I'll go.
09:10And guess what?
09:11I don't give a fuck.
09:12I need you to stop being a fucking cunt.
09:14Shut up, bitch.
09:15You're the one that keeps giving me opportunity to open my fucking mouth.
09:17Maybe if you kept your shut, I wouldn't have to.
09:19Oh!
09:20I just don't want them to keep seeing me like that.
09:22They can kiss this hairy motherfucking ass.
09:24Fuck the big picture, Clint.
09:26I am not going home.
09:28This is a fucking stage!
09:30My worry is beating everyone's ass so I can take that crown home and make my mama proud.
09:34I said not to make a fool of me.
09:37I don't feel like you're a monster, I just feel like you're a fucking asshole.
09:39That's so funny that you have absolutely no receipts,
09:41but you're going to come here and accuse me of talking about you,
09:43but you can't say anything.
09:44I'm scared of fucking shitless right now.
09:47You're not the one that has to jump out of a fucking plane.
09:49It's just like, I don't know what else I could have done, you know?
09:51I've sacrificed too much to be here, and I'm not going to sit here and cry.
09:58My name is Eva Destruction, for fuck's sake.
10:02My name is Hollow Eve of Destruction.
10:05And I know I'm loud, and I know I have a lot of opinions,
10:08and I know that when I get passionate and I talk loud, I sound like your fucking mother.
10:12I'm going to be a fucking laughingstock, are you fucking kidding me?
10:16All I can do is stick dirty needles I dropped on the floor back into my face.
10:21Put an end to your moment.
10:22This is fucking stupid.
10:24I don't give a fuck.
10:28Fine, let's make some fucking good TV then.
10:30That's a lot. I mean, this competition is not easy.
10:34Madeline, you seem like you are on the cusp of going full Dark Phoenix on the crew.
10:39Yes, my nerves get the best of me more than not.
10:43You know, you can hide under ten feet of foundation, but you're still in there.
10:47And this show in particular will rip you right from out of this battle armor that we're so used to hiding in.
10:54And then having to like claw and crawl your way through these things that you assholes have put on us.
11:05You get frustrated and you throw a staff.
11:07Yeah, and you know what the thing is though too?
11:09Is that like, you know, you can leave social media behind, you can leave all your friends and family behind,
11:13but you carry shit with you into this competition.
11:16You don't just get to drop everything.
11:17You know, all the pain and suffering and like anxiety and all those things,
11:20they come right along with you and you have to deal with that plus this fucking competition.
11:24Absolutely.
11:25Good job ladies, because y'all have given us all.
11:27It's not, you know, it's designed that way on purpose.
11:29Exactly.
11:30After this, you know, after having to face all these exterminations and these challenges,
11:33it's going to give us a better sense on how to deal with our shit in our real life.
11:36Don't take it too seriously.
11:38Have fun and know that there can be a solution to all of the problems that you're facing.
11:42Well, Jaska shared her feelings too.
11:44Can you kind of bring us there?
11:45What was going on in your mind when that was going on?
11:47I mean, I felt coming in here, I was really unique compared to everyone in terms of like what I do is just so different.
11:53And I ended up starting to feel like I didn't really quite belong in the cast or not on the show or something in some way, you know.
11:59I just started to feel like, what am I doing wrong?
12:01You're like, do I have to wear a wig?
12:03How much of myself do I have to change or morph in order to meet the expectations?
12:07Do you believe that we were looking for you to do things like wear a wig or change your drag in order to go forward?
12:13I was just looking at everyone and I'm like, oh fuck.
12:15What did I walk into?
12:16I'm not wearing a wig.
12:17I'm not wearing fishnets.
12:18So it was, I think I was sort of self-projecting a little bit of those doubts,
12:22but I guess Baby Blue is just not Monsters of Rock.
12:26I thought it was so cute.
12:27When I first saw it, I was like, it's so cute.
12:29I didn't think though, oh, this is Monsters of Rock.
12:32This is cute.
12:33I think honestly what hurt the most was more so the color choice.
12:38Thinking about it now in retrospect, having all the time to think about it,
12:40I'm like, well, you know, I was in a competition that was looking for specific things.
12:44It just happened that I kind of went a little off the target.
12:47I'm very glad to hear you say that.
12:49I mean, to hear that you felt down on your own creative spirit because of something you experienced in the show
12:55kind of hurts me a little, but you turn the corner and you realize these are specific things we're asking you for.
13:00It is this emotional pressure cooker that we've all created.
13:03It's part of the experience.
13:04Hopefully at the end, you've learned some things along the way from other amazing artists
13:08and you come out on the other side just stronger.
13:10I mean, like you guys say every time, it's not about our art.
13:12It's about our art in relation to the challenges.
13:15And that was really, I guess, my downfall this season.
13:18A lot of the cast, your fellow cast, have commented on how sweet you are and how quiet you are.
13:23But when you got in front of the camera, this shady monster came out that I didn't even know existed.
13:29She is awful.
13:31Let's take a look.
13:33It's me, Yovska.
13:35I'm Yovska. I'm 20,000 years old from Toronto, Canada.
13:39Just be careful to not be a one-trick pony and rely on the mask.
13:42So Madeline thinks I'm a one-trick pony.
13:44Better that than a jackass.
13:46You know, I think I might just have a new kink after seeing those Dirt Squirrel posters.
13:50Eva's outfit.
13:51That's some expensive-ass pool noodle.
13:54Time for polka.
13:55I don't even know what the fuck polka is, to be honest.
13:58It says, read me.
13:59Can you read?
14:00You're a little bitch. Shut up. Fuck.
14:02Yovska constantly makes these side remarks, and she's totally sweet.
14:07But if I hear it one more fucking time, I'm gonna kick her in the teeth.
14:10Yeah, why did they choose you for Teen Captain?
14:12Because of your bitch attitude.
14:13I'm gonna need you to stop being a cunt.
14:15Me? Cunt?
14:18Okay, sure.
14:20I mean, I will make myself heard. I don't give a fuck.
14:23Okay, hollow.
14:24Don't you have a cigarette to smoke, Priscilla?
14:26I'm talking.
14:27You're always talking.
14:28You can't sit with us.
14:29It's okay, we got our own table.
14:31Oh.
14:32The floor shows are, like, fun.
14:33We've only done one.
14:37I hate y'all.
14:39You look beautiful.
14:40Why are you such a dick?
14:42What a little bitch.
14:44Yovska is an angel, and everyone needs to fuck off.
14:47We love you, chubby Valentino.
14:53She's diabolical.
14:54She's evil.
14:55Cunty little goblin. Completely.
14:57Maxi, alternatively, you seem to avoid confrontation.
15:00Is that just how you are?
15:02I think, one, I don't really like confrontation unless it's needed,
15:04unless there's, like, a bigger gain.
15:06So there's not a lot of me fighting with people on TV
15:08because I'm better than that.
15:10Did that annoy some of you?
15:11Because it seemed like it kind of got under your skin
15:13that Maxi was more aloof.
15:15The only thing that drove us crazy was the constant talk of Pocah.
15:18Well, for you, Pocah always went hand-in-hand with Baklava.
15:21And my question is, is there CBD oil in that Baklava?
15:24Because you are so chill.
15:25Yeah, um...
15:27Hmm.
15:29I knew it.
15:30Maybe a little.
15:31I think there was something in her Baklava.
15:33I might say THC oil.
15:34She's a fucking stoner.
15:35She's a stoner, chill, chill.
15:38Paolo, you said to me something about
15:40it's possible to be maliciously kind or maliciously, like...
15:44Chronically kind.
15:45Chronically kind.
15:46She's chronically kind.
15:47I'd rather be chronically kind than chronically vindictive.
15:49Fucking asshole.
15:50I'm sorry that you think that.
15:51Let's move on.
15:52You have everyone fooled all the time.
15:54Even after seeing what you fucking did to me
15:56at that extermination,
15:57I have to commend you for that ninja bullshit
15:59because you literally came out of nowhere
16:02and, like, took the breath out of me.
16:04It was a cardboard.
16:05Madeline kind of got shredded.
16:06Like, shredded.
16:08And, I mean, Madeline's not too hard to read.
16:10Oh, I'm not?
16:11I mean, I do not claim to be deep.
16:13I like to be pretty and stupid,
16:15and I do it very well, okay?
16:18We'll be right back with the Boulay Brothers'
16:20Dragula Season 3 Last Supper.
16:29Welcome back, uglies,
16:30to the Boulay Brothers' Season 3 Last Supper.
16:34Eva, you similarly reached a breaking point
16:36and revealed some disturbing moments from your childhood.
16:40Let's take a look.
16:42I didn't even finish high school.
16:44I actually was kicked out of my parents' house
16:48when I was 17.
16:49My parents and I, like, our relationship was shattered.
16:52I was so angry at them
16:53because they were trying to get my grades in order,
16:56but also in what they thought
16:59they wanted to get my behavior in check.
17:02They talked to their therapist,
17:03and then for some fucked-up reason,
17:05he convinced them,
17:06oh, there's this lovely facility you can take him to
17:09where he doesn't have to be in your hair anymore
17:12is how I felt about it,
17:13and I was there for a whole year.
17:16Baby.
17:17I would have, like, group therapy,
17:19then I would have a family phone call with therapy with them,
17:23and then I would only get one family phone call a week,
17:26and...
17:27That was monitored.
17:28Yeah.
17:29It's a dark time.
17:30That's a part of my past,
17:31but, like, I swore that I would build myself
17:35from the ground up, and when I discovered drag,
17:38like, that was something that I could call mine
17:40that no one could take away from me.
17:54You're incredible.
18:01Can you share with us more about what your childhood was like?
18:04Yeah, so I grew up as, like,
18:07the eldest of four other siblings.
18:09I was almost like the guinea pig child of my family.
18:12There was just a lot of rebelling that I was doing.
18:15My parents grew concerned with my influence
18:18on my brother and my sisters,
18:20and they deemed it worthy to send me away
18:24to a troubled teens facility.
18:27I was there for over a full year.
18:29Because of that, my youngest sister and my brother,
18:32they were so young at the time,
18:34they don't even know who I really am.
18:37That built a lot of walls.
18:39I became very guarded after that experience.
18:42When I finally discovered drag, it was like...
18:48I'm sorry.
18:49Someone just finally gave me something
18:52that my parents couldn't take away from me,
18:56and it was finally something that my grandmother
18:59finally looked at me and told me
19:01that I can finally tell my friends and my coworkers
19:04that you're doing something
19:06that I can be proud of my grandson for.
19:09I hope that the barriers that maybe even we sense
19:13aren't the ones remaining
19:15from that kind of, like, painful place in your childhood,
19:17because we've tried to impart in so many ways
19:19that, like, there's a safety net here.
19:21You know, it's brave of you to share it
19:22and be able to talk about it.
19:24Anyone who will ever ask or wonder what this is like,
19:27it is beyond what anyone could ever imagine.
19:29It is so much harder than you could think
19:32just by watching it on TV.
19:34Just the simple act of opening up to people more
19:38in the boudoir or talking to somebody about real shit
19:41or just having a good time...
19:45It's just not a luxury, unfortunately,
19:48that I can simply just have.
19:50Well, bitch, I don't accept that.
19:52I mean, I know that that's the truth for you.
19:54I fucking hate hearing that,
19:55because I think you deserve that,
19:56and I think you've taught us some lessons
19:58about discipline and your own personal power
20:01and your own creativity.
20:02I hope, just from this point forward,
20:04something in this competition
20:05would impart an ease on your path,
20:07like, something a little easier
20:08where you can kind of maybe let one of those shields down.
20:11I feel like a different person, and I feel transformed,
20:15like, than how I was when I got on the plane to come here.
20:19Like, I was scared,
20:21and I just didn't know what to expect,
20:23but now it's like I feel like I can take on myself
20:26but also the world now, without any fear.
20:29We all think you're an amazing artist.
20:30We think that your time here is incredible,
20:32and I think we all know
20:33that there is so much more to come for you.
20:35Thank you.
20:36Yeah, you're all right.
20:39Some of our monsters came here
20:40and discovered who they were this season,
20:42but one of them knew exactly who they were on arrival,
20:44and they weren't afraid to show it.
20:46Let's take a look at Hollow Eve.
20:48Hollow Eve, you are a drag artist
20:51who was born a biological female.
20:53I wonder, do you have the strength
20:55to prove that all drag is valid?
20:57I don't have time for the word fish.
21:00I'm just here to educate.
21:01There is nothing in this fucking world
21:02more villainous than the goddamn meat industry.
21:04So I'm here to educate you.
21:06But remember, what is art?
21:08It's not a competition.
21:09I'm gonna take it back. I get it.
21:11You're coming at me with polish. I get it.
21:13I am queer, and I have a story,
21:15and this is a fucking stage.
21:17And I follow no man's rule,
21:19and I would not change a single part of this
21:22from the head to the fucking toe.
21:24Hollow has a tendency to talk about her art
21:26like everyone else is too stupid to understand it.
21:28Because it has more fucking meaning!
21:31And if they're too stupid to get it,
21:33it's because they're coked-out whores,
21:34and I don't mean that nicely.
21:36I push every boundary of fear with my art
21:39in order to overcome everything
21:40so I can do anything.
21:42I have a thing about my art being real,
21:44and for me, it's a part of the processing of my life.
21:47And I put everything I have,
21:49my body fluids, my brain, my emotions,
21:52everything into what I do to process my life,
21:55to process the way I walk through this world,
21:57and to make a pathway for other people to walk forward to.
22:01I'm here to show the world
22:02what it is to exist outside of a white,
22:05cis, fucking gay male world!
22:08See, it's shocking, but it has content.
22:10So, like, the metaphor goes far beyond just shock.
22:14Because if I were to be just a shock performer,
22:16I wouldn't be Hollow Eve.
22:18Yeah!
22:20So, we got to see a lot of different looks,
22:22a lot of different ways that Hollow showed
22:23what she was made of during the season.
22:25What was the most fun for you?
22:26You know, strangely, it's probably still
22:29the one I went home for.
22:30Really?
22:31I was literally had fun all day.
22:32I think that that's something that I know about myself.
22:35I'm not into competitions.
22:36Much like Josska, when I have an idea, I just do it.
22:39There's parts of me that can look at it and go,
22:41I can see how this is aesthetically not Dragula.
22:43But I don't care, that's what I wanted to do,
22:45so I did it because that's who I am,
22:47and I'm stubborn like that, you know?
22:49That's what I do.
22:50We know that you're very serious about your art,
22:52and we did want to ask you if you found it challenging
22:54to try to fit what you do into a format like that.
22:57There is not a minute or moment of Hollow Eve
23:00in that fucking elf.
23:01Not one second.
23:03But I had fun.
23:04Whatever it was, you did it really well.
23:06I had a lot of fun doing it.
23:07Yeah.
23:08I do, I take it very seriously.
23:09I will say over and over again,
23:10my art has saved my life, over and over again.
23:13Quite literally removed a razor from my wrist.
23:16I like to challenge my fears every time I perform,
23:19that's how I keep it fresh.
23:20It's because all I want to do is unlock every cage
23:23I have ever been put into,
23:25so that someday I can finally fucking be free.
23:28That's, I mean, it's almost conjuring up ideas
23:30that you're using your art as a means of healing,
23:33which I think from the outside
23:34is probably the last thing people would associate you with.
23:37I'm really passionate, I'm really loud,
23:39I stand up for shit,
23:40I put myself, my career, and everything
23:42on the line when it's important to me.
23:44I want to stir up some trouble
23:45but you have proven to all of us
23:46that you're very passionate, and you are very loud,
23:48and I think that you're not scared to say
23:50exactly what's on your mind,
23:51but did anyone ever disagree with Holo
23:53and maybe find it intimidating to challenge
23:56that big personality?
24:03No one wants to tell me?
24:07After saying the word fish
24:09and then quickly being educated that very first day,
24:14I find a big fear in my heart for Holo,
24:17and so I would never want to go against you,
24:19and I love you.
24:20Do you feel that the rest of the competitors
24:22had an open dialogue?
24:23Did you feel they were being straight with you
24:25when you were having conversations
24:26about things that were important to you?
24:28This isn't going to sound nice.
24:30I don't think there was that much dialogue
24:32because I do think that everybody got quiet
24:35after I talked,
24:36and I don't want that to be the case.
24:38I think all the time, like,
24:39how could you do this in a better way?
24:41But then, like, the very emotional me,
24:44you know, is involved.
24:46Well, on that, I want to say
24:48I think you're going to be really inspiring
24:50for a lot of people, so thank you.
24:52We'll be right back with the Boulet Brothers'
24:53Dragula Season 3 Last Supper.
25:04And we're back with the monsters of Season 3.
25:07When we opened auditions for Season 3,
25:09we put out the call for thrill-seekers,
25:11pain freaks, and drag artists
25:12who were looking to push their boundaries
25:14on the small screen.
25:15Let's take a look at the wild ride
25:17of some of this season's Extermination Challenges.
25:21The Extermination Challenge is your last chance
25:23to prove to us that you have the guts
25:25and the glamour to be spared
25:26and remain in this competition.
25:28They haven't electrocuted anyone yet.
25:30Oh, my God, please electrocute us!
25:33Oh, fuck!
25:35Ah!
25:37In order to remain in the competition,
25:39you'll have to consume a chalice full of live spiders.
25:43Bon appétit, bitch.
25:45Oh, girl.
25:47The food tasted salty and fucking metal-y.
25:50It tastes like fucking what you'd think
25:51a raw fucking pig would taste like.
25:53Since all of you have proved in the boudoir
25:55that you're full of hot air,
25:56this will be your chance to see who blows the hardest
25:59in our first-ever roach tube race.
26:02We have a mobile tattoo parlor pulled up in the alley
26:05waiting to tattoo all of you to fill.
26:07Oh, my God, no!
26:09In your armpit.
26:11Oh...
26:13You've got one minute to get on our freak show side stage
26:16and staple as many dollars to your body as you possibly can.
26:20Did she die?
26:21You are going to be thrown out of an aircraft
26:23at 18,000 feet.
26:25I sincerely hope that neither of you are afraid of heights.
26:30Now, what's Halloween without a good, old-fashioned haunted house?
26:35Ah!
26:36Ah!
26:37Ah!
26:38Ah!
26:39Ah!
26:40Ah!
26:41Ah!
26:42Ah!
26:43Ah!
26:44Ah!
26:45Yay!
26:46Again, again, again, again, again.
26:49But you know what's funny about the tattoo one
26:50is that at the time, I'm like, oh, so fun, I can't wait.
26:53And then maybe it hit me two days after,
26:55I'm like, oh, fuck, I have a tattoo.
26:58That's how that works.
26:59Have you forgotten that quickly?
27:01No more wine for y'all.
27:04Louisiana.
27:05You knew you were going to faint
27:07before you did the staple extermination.
27:09Yes.
27:10And you absolutely no qualms about it,
27:12went forward and did it anyways.
27:13Yes.
27:14What was that like?
27:15What was your thought process?
27:16Being pierced and being tattooed,
27:18I know that my blood sugar drops.
27:20And I told them, I was like, I will probably,
27:23my body will give out.
27:24It did, but there was no fucking way
27:26I wasn't going to do it.
27:27There's no way I was going to sell myself short.
27:29Like, I came here with one goal, I wanted to win.
27:33And whatever it took, I would have done it.
27:35And yeah, I was scared shitless to staple my leg,
27:37but I did it, and am I glad I did it?
27:39Absolutely.
27:40Because it does, like, every time you chip away
27:42at that block of fear, it's just more freedom.
27:45What was the haunted house like for you?
27:47The haunted house, it was funny
27:49because I was legitimately freaked out by it.
27:52Girl, all I know is before I went in, I said,
27:54they're not going to try to rip, like,
27:55my hair off or anything, right?
27:57And they're like, no.
27:58Someone lied to you.
27:59And the whole time, bitch, they tried to pull my wig off.
28:01They took my shoe, like, at the very beginning of it, too.
28:04So I, like, walked through the whole thing
28:06without a fucking shoe on.
28:08Oh, my God.
28:09It was so fun.
28:10Oh, that does sound fun.
28:16So Madeline, you may not have won season three,
28:19but you are officially Dragula's new queen of exterminations.
28:23Thank you.
28:24Thank you.
28:25So coming into this competition, did you ever think
28:27you would be able to do all this kind of stuff?
28:29Well, coming into this, I had no idea what was going to happen.
28:33Yep.
28:34So there was no real way of knowing
28:36what I would have to prepare for.
28:39I mean, cockroaches, you know, taste like nuts.
28:41You know, electric shock therapy isn't that bad.
28:44I'm really not that, I'm not, you know,
28:47I'm not opposed to it.
28:48I can see why it's a kink.
28:49And the tattoo will be removed.
28:52I chose it.
28:57I said from the very beginning that puncturing my skin
28:59or needles or anything like that was a huge no-no for me.
29:03And after doing it, I was like, oh, well, it's not that bad.
29:09It's not terrible.
29:10Like, it doesn't hurt me permanently or anything.
29:13That's what I always think.
29:14It's so temporary.
29:15I will say a third time around is a charm,
29:17and then you just kind of get over it.
29:19You're just numb.
29:20When you were all getting ready for your floor shows,
29:22the pressure seemed to mount,
29:23and a lot of deep issues came to the surface.
29:26Let's take a look.
29:27I've been struggling with addiction since I was a teenager.
29:31I've only been sober for a couple months now.
29:35You're still counting days.
29:36I'm still counting days.
29:37This show has saved my life.
29:38When I got that call finally, I was like,
29:40I want this so bad, nothing's going to take it from me.
29:43And so I had to go through withdrawals.
29:45I went through withdrawals with my mom.
29:47And so I had to go through withdrawals.
29:48I went through withdrawals every single night.
29:50Because if I did not get casted,
29:51who knows where I would have been.
29:52I would have still been in a crack den.
29:54I was hurt, and I was so hurt because I knew
29:56that it was just influenced by alcohol at the time.
30:00Relapse is a part of my story,
30:02and it's a part of, like, my journey and my sobriety.
30:04And, you know, I fuck up, and it's really hard,
30:08and then I have to recover.
30:10I worked so hard on this thing.
30:14Why do you think I project such fucking, like,
30:18malicious energy out there?
30:20Because I don't need anybody fucking with me.
30:23It's been really hard.
30:24And you know that, like,
30:25I've dealt with addiction in my family,
30:27and I know how it works, and I know how the steps work,
30:30and there's no one you're ever going to meet
30:32more forgiving than me
30:33and more understanding in this situation than me.
30:35This is going to be an ongoing thing
30:37that I need to work on, and I just,
30:39I'm glad that we, like, I feel...
30:41I feel lighter today.
30:42A little bit lighter now.
30:43Awkward hug?
30:44It doesn't have to be awkward.
30:45Don't make it weird.
30:46I love you.
30:47I love you, too.
30:49All right.
30:50Wow.
30:51Have some of these personal demons
30:53kind of been barriers between you and other people,
30:57other performers, close relations?
30:59Well, my sobriety, honestly,
31:01in the grand scope of, like, my life,
31:03has only been, like, a shorter journey.
31:05It's only been about four years.
31:07So there's still a lot that I'm still trying to adjust to.
31:11This whole experience
31:13has pushed a lot of that to the forefront.
31:15You come face-to-face with a lot of shit.
31:17You have to kind of, like, jump head in
31:20and accept people as they come
31:22and just kind of, like, learn.
31:24Priscilla, were you concerned at all
31:26coming here that your sobriety was so fresh
31:28that being in this kind of environment
31:30could threaten your sobriety?
31:32No.
31:33You know, honestly,
31:34I knew what I was getting myself into.
31:36I was just mostly worried about how I would come across
31:38and how I would react to certain people
31:40because I was like, you know,
31:41no one's gonna understand what I've been through
31:43and what I'm going through.
31:44Addiction is very, very alive in our community.
31:47If we can, like I said, if we can help one person,
31:50then we did something right.
31:51And drag has become my new addiction.
31:53That's what I'm taking away from this competition,
31:55and I just, I can't thank all of you enough,
31:57and especially you two,
31:58for really, truly saving my life.
32:00Thank you for saying that.
32:01I think you need to give yourself a lot of credit, too,
32:03because you don't just get things.
32:05You have to work for them.
32:06This situation is difficult,
32:07but if you're dealing with sobriety
32:09or you're trying to stay clean
32:10and you're in this kind of, like, emotional vortex,
32:13that can be very triggering.
32:14I mean, honestly, congratulations to both of you.
32:16Thank you very much.
32:17On the other side of the spectrum,
32:18Dahlia seemed to come into the competition
32:20with a lot of resources and very well prepared.
32:23And I know there were some moments of tension
32:25between you two.
32:26Did the factor of resource
32:28or where you guys were kind of coming from
32:30play into that tension at all?
32:32You'll have to ask Miss Priscilla
32:34because I didn't direct the energy at her.
32:37It was more so directed at me.
32:39Do you think that had something to do with your tension?
32:41All of us as entertainers, we all get jealous of each other.
32:44I don't care what anyone says.
32:46This is what we do.
32:48Since when is drag queen?
32:49Since when have we ever had money?
32:50And since when have we ever been nice?
32:52So you've accepted her apology?
32:54Oh, yes.
32:55I never had an issue with Priscilla.
32:56I always loved her and her characterization.
32:58She always cracks me up.
32:59I'm happy to be her with her.
33:00Like, she knows I fucking love her to death.
33:02Do you know that?
33:03I guess I do now in front of you.
33:05No, I appreciate that.
33:07No, I appreciate that.
33:08And, like, I am so glad that we are in this together.
33:11And I love you.
33:13I love you.
33:15We'll be right back, bitch.
33:26And we're back with the real house monsters of Transylvania.
33:30Before we move on to the final three of the season,
33:32I want to ask Louisiana,
33:34how does it feel to come so close to the top?
33:37And how are you feeling now?
33:39Honestly, I feel very disappointed in myself.
33:42I feel like I've failed.
33:44Really?
33:45I came here to win.
33:46I did not win.
33:47Thus, that is a fail.
33:48I owe everything to drag.
33:49And I feel like I disappointed myself.
33:52I've been consistently good.
33:54But what stopped me from being great?
33:56And I can't answer that.
33:57And I guess that's why I still feel like I'm not good enough.
33:59And that's why I still feel like some disappointment about it.
34:02I think you need to hear this.
34:03Does anyone think Louisiana is a failure?
34:06No.
34:07Absolutely not.
34:08I'm shocked, honestly.
34:09I don't want to hear any more talk about that.
34:11Yeah.
34:12You are always so close to the heart of everybody's moments,
34:15whether that be their celebrations or their pain.
34:17You always seem to kind of be right there
34:19to kind of share that with the entire cast.
34:21I really feel like, you know,
34:22you're very close to the heartbeat of this season.
34:24I'm a strong person.
34:25And I think those who have seen a lot of darkness are the kindest.
34:30Because you know what pain is like.
34:33And you know what darkness is like.
34:34And I know what darkness is like.
34:36It's not closed off my heart.
34:38It's made my heart bigger.
34:39And, again, I genuinely just fucking love you all.
34:43We love you, too.
34:44To be part of this is like, it's a dream.
34:46It's a goddamn dream.
34:48We were kind of hoping it was a little bit more like a nightmare,
34:51but I guess I'll settle for a dream.
34:53A great nightmare.
34:54A beautiful nightmare.
34:55I don't know if I should, you know, share this now,
34:58but I got even more family while I was here
35:01in that I have a new daughter.
35:03I have a daughter.
35:04As a cast member, Priscilla Chambers has asked me to be her mom,
35:08and I said yes.
35:09And I couldn't be fucking prouder of her.
35:11Fuck yeah.
35:12If I can't win the crown, you fucking win it, babe.
35:14And that's why I do not say that you are a failure,
35:16because I could not have done any of this without you.
35:18Truly, honestly, I love you.
35:20Go fucking get it.
35:21I love you, too.
35:22Allegedly.
35:23Come on.
35:24I'm going to sleep.
35:26I'm going to sleep.
35:27Landon Snyder, congratulations.
35:29You have made it to the top three.
35:31How are you feeling?
35:33Cloud nine.
35:34I came here with the intention of just showcasing my art
35:39through the lens, the beautiful, artistic lens of this show.
35:44My intention was always focused on every challenge.
35:46Just make it to the next one, make it to the next one,
35:48make it to the next one, with intention of getting to top three,
35:51with intention of winning.
35:52focus was always do this, do it at your best. It's been such a great time and I
35:57can't speak anything negative about this experience.
36:00Oh wow, that's fantastic. That is great to hear. Even though we do our best to give you at
36:03least one or two things to kind of hate us for a little bit, but I know we do like
36:07to hear that. You know, one thing I want to ask you is that you didn't seem to
36:09have any conflict with anybody per se. Was that just your personality is to
36:16avoid? Because I don't know, sometimes I see you can be confrontational and
36:18sometimes not. So I was curious if it was sort of a strategy or was it just
36:23you being you? One of the things that I live by is I live and understand that we
36:28are all created by energy and we are given a certain amount of energy and I
36:32choose what I put my energy into. It's a limited amount so I need to be very
36:36specific about what choices I put my energy into and negative things don't
36:41deserve my energy. So if someone is playing bullshit with me, I tend to let
36:47it go because it's not worth it, but when it's put at either like a high
36:52platform or really stupid and ignorant, that's when I can't shut up about it
36:58because I love to put ignorant ass people in their place and no one came
37:03for me because they didn't have a reason to. Drag kings don't have the platform
37:08that drag queens do and they don't have the same opportunities performing live
37:12and I think it'll mean something to a lot of people to see you on the show. Do
37:17you have anything you would want to say to other drag kings out there that maybe
37:20are struggling to find their place in a male-dominated scene? Any success that
37:27you felt as an assigned female at birth person in that culture, tap into that
37:32success and bring that to the stage. Bring that through your art. Don't let
37:37anyone tell you that you don't deserve that stage time, that you don't deserve
37:40to share the stage with any level of performer. Every person deserves to be on
37:45stage. Art is for everyone. There are no rules. If someone tells you there are,
37:49break them because they're imaginary. And Dahlia, too, you seem to be sort of quiet
37:53behind the scenes as well, but behind closed doors you had a little more to
37:58say about everyone. Why did you feel it was hard to express yourself in person
38:02in the beginning? Well, okay, so I had a fear of being a bitch coming in. When I
38:06first got here, I just didn't feel close enough with anybody to even like
38:09jokingly read them. My humor is just really dry, so I felt like if I tried to
38:13like necessarily go in and like be shady or whatever and joke with that, it
38:17would be too intense. You had said you felt like you were being like a passive
38:20aggressive bitch and then you overcame something. What was happening there? Like
38:23can you tell us more about that? I kind of lost this certain edge that I had had
38:27for a while. It just finally started to click again and it was like you have no
38:30reason to walk on eggshells. You have no reason to not speak up. If it pisses you
38:35off, say it. If you feel like it, say it. If you don't feel like it, don't. But don't
38:38give a fuck. Be passionate about what you're passionate about and be silent
38:41about what you want to be silent about, but do it at your discretion because you
38:44want to, not because you're afraid. Do you all feel like you saw a change in
38:47Dahlia while she was here or no? Yeah, I haven't heard about Orlando in a couple
38:51weeks, so that was nice. I do feel like you came in feeling that you had like a
38:59legacy to save with the House of Black and you did use that a lot in your
39:05commentary to us on and off camera and I think you shed that tie to making sure
39:11that you're just resolving something with your family's non-victory and you're
39:16really doing it for yourself now. I thought that it would be cutesy at the
39:20beginning, but then I kind of I realized after I was putting in all the work, this
39:26is my crown that I'm working for. Like I love my family, but this is my crown I'm
39:30working for. Victoria had her opportunity. She's made her legacy. She's made her
39:34impact and it's like it now it's my time to do, like it's my turn. I want to. Do you
39:38feel guilty about that on any level? No. No, I don't. I know that they all love me
39:44and sometimes you have to like let people fly. They just want to see me
39:48succeed in life and that's what family's supposed to do. It's supposed to support
39:52you and just want you to succeed and whatever that means. Victoria came so
39:56close to winning, so close to winning, but she didn't snatch the crown. Do you see
40:00anything that would get in your way in a similar fashion that you won't be able
40:03to overcome to win? Myself. I just don't need to overthink it and just need to
40:10stay like true to me and so I just want to have fun and just showcase Dahlia as
40:15the three archetypes of Dracula and I feel like I fulfill those three, so I
40:19want to showcase them for you. Priscilla, do you think, like I'm gonna ask you a
40:23serious question, do you believe you can win this competition? 100% absolutely. Do
40:28you think you're going to win? I know I'm going to win. Actually, you know what, no
40:32and I genuinely mean that because I've worked so fucking hard to be here. Yes, you have.
40:37I gave up everything and every single day in this competition, I'm still giving
40:41up stuff. I am putting my entire heart in it. Whenever I get this crown, I'm gonna
40:45take it and I'm gonna be punk rock and I'm gonna be kind. And you're gonna work
40:48on that glamour part. You really sound articulate though. You sound, I'm believing you. I want to ask
40:55Dahlia the same question. Do you believe that you can win this competition? 110%.
41:00Do you think you're going to? 110%. I believe you. What about you Landon? I'm winning, no doubt about it. I know that I've been giving my
41:12best and my best has been shining and even when I didn't exactly come out at
41:17the top and I was near the bottom, I still did it in a way that I was
41:21completely proud of and it was beautiful art and I think that that speaks for
41:27itself. All right. Do you believe me?
41:35All right, we want to give each cast member a chance to let us know who they
41:39think is most deserving of the crown and why. Violencia. It would mean so much to
41:47the community if Landon won. You'd be representing an entire community that's
41:53underrepresented and I think it's time that a drag king wins some shit.
41:57St. Lucia. I think Landon and Dahlia are both extremely talented but I think
42:03Dragula's season three winner is Priscilla.
42:06Youovska. I feel the winner should be Landon. They haven't disappointed me at
42:12all. They've just been so incredible. So I'm really happy and honored to be on
42:15the same stage as an insider. But you're not so rotten underneath that mask.
42:19Maxi. I do think that women and drag kings have been on the back burner and
42:26I think that the king of kings should be second to no queen. So Landon.
42:31Hollow Eve. I'm team Landon. Start to finish. I was team Landon when I walked
42:36in the front door and I want to see a woman on the top. Eva Destruction. I
42:41think I have to go with Priscilla because there's so much growth that I've
42:47seen from her and so much fire and passion. I am 110% behind someone like
42:54that. So I'm team Priscilla. Thank you. Madeline.
43:00Dahlia is literally shown such exemplary work like just beyond. Beyond anyone else
43:09that anybody else has done here at all. Priscilla with the struggle and being
43:14such a light and doing this literally on like your last nickel. I'm gonna go with
43:21you Priscilla. And Louisiana. You'd be the last one to cast your vote tonight. Who
43:26do you think should win? I've spent the most time with these three being number
43:32four and I love them all. But as her mother. I'm gonna get really emotional. I'm sorry.
43:38This is the fucking crying season. I'm sorry. True there. Seeing Priscilla struggle and fight tooth
43:47and nail for this. No money. No sleep. Just like a burning desire for this. You are my
43:57queen. And plus you promised me a fucking $100 if you won. Just to make sure do either
44:10of you want a counter offer? Anyone got any more? I'll change. I'll change my vote. So
44:16I want to thank the cast for being so honest and putting forth your vote as to who you
44:20think best deserves the crown. But I'd like to hear from our three finalists if you have
44:25any response to that. This entire experience has been really emotionally charged. But hearing
44:29the votes either for you or for one of your fellow competitors must be churning up a lot
44:34of these emotions for you. Do you have anything to say in response? You know, everyone, thank
44:39you for who voted for me. And they mentioned, you know, the struggle that I had to deal
44:43with before I came here. I don't want to win because of that. I would give up all of that
44:47stuff over again every single time because I love this and I want this so bad and I will
44:55continue to fight for it. And if I don't get this, I still want to represent the brand.
44:59I still want to represent filth, horror and glamour and represent everything that you've
45:02worked for and you've created for us. Because without y'all, I wouldn't be anywhere where
45:07I am right now. I want to win because this is my favorite thing in the world and it will
45:12always be. Landa? I also have the same response to those who, some of those who voted for
45:18me. I appreciate the vote, but I don't want any vote or anyone rooting for me just because
45:24I'm a female or just because I'm a king. I don't want to win this because I'm a token.
45:28I don't want to win this just to represent a community. I want to win this because I
45:32deserve this with my art on this stage, in this competition. And I know I will win this
45:37with my art on this stage, in this competition.
45:43Um, I've worked for this for two years. I took out a credit card to build my credit
45:50just to make sure I had money when I came here. It's not been something that was done
45:53at the spur of the moment. Like this is something I've been trying to precision pinpoint my
45:57drag towards because I've wanted to represent this brand and I wanted to compete and I wanted
46:01to win. You know, I've taught myself how to sew. I've taught myself how to make everything
46:05from scratch. Everything has been customized and made by me. I put my heart and soul into
46:10every wig, every garment I've walked out in, every prosthetic. And so, um, I'm not going
46:16to lie. It's a little sad that no one said my name. I just want you guys to know that
46:21even though I am disappointed by that, I'm still confident and, um, it's still 100% what I want.
46:28You should stay focused because like I said, it's anybody's game at this point. You all
46:32have worked so hard to be here and don't, don't let it fuck with you. You're talented.
46:37You're amazing. You're gorgeous. I'm looking forward to what you're bringing. I know it's
46:40going to be an amazing show. People also didn't think that you would do very well. They also
46:43didn't think I'd be here in top three. So, right. So there you go. I'm afraid that's
46:47all the time we have left in the land of the living. We want to thank all of you for
46:51sharing your lives and your art with us this season. And we admire your willingness to
46:55die for art. For those of you at home, please join us next week on our final episode of
47:03the season, our Boulay Brothers Dragula season three grand finale. It's going to be a fight
47:08to the death for the title, the crown and the $25,000 prize. And you don't want to miss
47:13it. Thank you for joining us.
