00:00Hi, I'm digital reporter Amy Seddon and welcome to another edition of 5 things to do next
00:06week.
00:07First up, in central Lancashire, the Lancashire Festival returns next Saturday, July 27th.
00:14It takes place on Avonam and Miller Park in Preston between 11am and 9pm and you can expect
00:19a packed line-up of live entertainment perfectly suited for the whole family.
00:24Families can join in with craft workshops, fancy dress boxes, circus session and shows,
00:31festival walkabout entertainers and more, plus enjoy 10 hours of live music, specially
00:36hand-picked from across Lancashire.
00:39Tickets are £2 for an all-day pass, but children under 3 go free.
00:43Over on the Fylde Coast, a new family festival called Wonderland comes to the wire on Saturday,
00:50July 27th.
00:51Taking place on Cotton Hall playing fields in Portland and the Fylde, Wonderland will
00:55be home to three individually themed fun-filled entertainment zones, which will feature interactive
01:00workshops to take part in and a huge main stage with live music and performances from
01:05family favourite stars.
01:06There will also be food and drink available, including a bar for adults.
01:11Presented by Wire Council, tickets are £10.
01:15Off in Lancaster, Alice in Wonderland, the Duke's Play in the Park, enters its first
01:20full week and runs until the end of August.
01:24Set against the stunning backdrop of Williamson Park, this summer spectacle invites audiences
01:29of all ages to immerse themselves in the fantastical world of Lewis Carroll's timeless classic.
01:34Prepare to be swept away on a journey where every twist and turn leads to a new adventure
01:39and where the only limit is your imagination.
01:43Tickets are £23.50 for adults, £16.50 for children, and a family deal is also available.
01:50Next up, in East Lancashire, another festival arrives on Saturday, July 27th, this time
01:56in Accrington.
01:57Oakfest, the biggest music festival ever to happen in Oak Hill Park, returns with pop
02:02singer Kate Nash as the headline act.
02:04Other performances on the day come from Bez and Rowetta DJ set, singer Jessica Winter
02:10and the Untold Orchestra, whilst the Silent Disco also returns due to popular demand.
02:16Tickets are still available and they cost £15.
02:19Finally, just outside of Lancashire, a free cycling event returns to Wigan on Tuesday,
02:25July 23rd, called Cycle Three Sisters.
02:28Aimed at families and people of all abilities, attendees can enjoy a whole host of bike-based
02:33activities on and off the track, including cycle skills sessions for ages 6 to 12 and
02:38cycling stalls.
02:39There will also be a climbing wall and face painting.
02:43The event starts at 3pm, but the track is open to balanced bikes, bikes with stabilisers
02:48and adapted bikes only from 1.30pm.
02:51No booking is required, just turn up.
02:54So there are five things to do next week, but whatever you're up to, have a good one.
