00:05are five things to do this week across East Lancashire.
00:09First up, we head to Clitheroe, where you can soak up the summer vibes at the Holmes
00:13Mill Summer Sessions. Starting this weekend and running throughout August and September,
00:19there will be some serious beat-dropping action as DJs spin their hottest tracks in the millyard
00:25from 2pm to 7pm. Sundays are all about the laid-back or acoustic vibes, as talented acoustic
00:34singers serenade you from 1pm to 4pm. It's the perfect soundtrack for your lazy Sunday
00:41afternoon. Next up is the Blackburn Mega Fun Park, held
00:46in Witton Country Park. The funfair will be running until this Sunday and includes fantastic
00:54rides and attractions, street vendors and family-themed entertainment. Wristbands are
01:01still available for the event, which has three daily sessions which last from 1pm to 4pm,
01:073pm to 6pm and 6pm to 9pm. Also being held this weekend is the Brockholds
01:15Village Feat, running on Saturday and Sunday. The event is the very first at Brockholds,
01:22with artisan market stalls selling local handmade items, traditional fake games, live
01:29music and entertainment and a fantastic classic vehicle showcase. Organisers at the event
01:36will also be hosting exciting and informative guides at the famous Brockholds Nature Reserve.
01:46Timeburns Sound is back in Accrington for 2024. This year brings a weekend of jam-packed
01:53music located in a variety of bars, pubs and restaurants in Accrington Town Centre and
01:59Baxenden, supporting local businesses and artists. Running from Friday to Sunday, the
02:06music event promises to have a variety of music genres suitable for everyone.
02:12And finally, Food Day Friday nights at Burnley Market Food Court will now stay open from
02:185pm to 9pm, starting this Friday. They are bringing in a bar courtesy of Illuminati at
02:25The Little White Horse and they will have entertainment. So, for your pick of international
02:31cuisine, a few cheeky cocktails and some free live entertainment before you head home, visit
02:38Burnley Market Hall on Food Day Friday.
