00:00Hello. A rather cloudy and damp day across England and Wales with light rain and drizzle at times.
00:06Brighter skies developing in the far south this afternoon which may trigger a few sharp showers.

00:16Rather cloudy and damp across England and Wales this afternoon with outbreaks of light rain and
00:21drizzle and with a lot of stubborn low cloud. We are likely to see some bright or sunny spells
00:27developing in the far south of England during the course of the afternoon where we may also
00:31see a few heavy showers breaking out. Bright or sunny spells for Scotland and Northern Ireland
00:36but with a band of rain in the northwest sinking slowly south. Temperatures will be similar to
00:42Saturday generally reaching the mid to high teens for most perhaps a little warmer in the
00:46far south at 20 degrees where any bright or sunny spells develop during the afternoon.
00:51Rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland sinking slowly southwards and easing this evening and
00:58overnight. This already clearing Northern Ireland. Clearer skies ahead of this and following on behind
01:04from the north. Staying cloudy and damp across central and southern England and perhaps parts
01:09of Wales with some patchy rain. This mostly in the south with the rain becoming more widespread and
01:14heavy here later in the night. A mild night in the south underneath the cloud generally double
01:20figures for many turning chilly in parts of Northern Scotland and Northern England under the clearest skies.
01:28Monday will be cloudy and cool across southern England with outbreaks of rain.
01:32Some of this rain will be heavy at times. Meanwhile a band of showery rain will sink
01:37southwards from Scotland into Northern England during the course of the day. Elsewhere there'll
01:42be a mixture of sunny spells and perhaps a few showers affecting parts of Northern Scotland.
01:48Feeling rather cool underneath the persistent rain across southern England. Mid-teens at best.
01:54Feeling warmer in any bright or sunnier spells in the north where locally 19 or 20 degrees is possible in a few spots.
02:03Looking ahead further rain or thundery showers in the southeast at first on Tuesday. Becoming less
02:09unsettled from the northwest before further rain arrives from the northwest on Wednesday.
02:15Moving southeastwards across the UK into Thursday.
02:18Feeling cooler than of late with some chilly nights ahead.
