00:00What's up guys, so Samsung has released the One UI 6.1.1 update
00:05If you want to update, you go to software, download and install
00:08It should pop up today
00:10If it doesn't, just give it some time, it's probably still pushing out
00:14But if you go to last update, this is a pretty big update
00:17It's almost 3GB, you can see down here
00:202.8GB pretty much, almost 2.9GB
00:24It's a big update, I think it'll be the last big update before the Android 15
00:29slash One UI 7 update
00:31There's a lot of cool stuff in here
00:33So I want to go ahead and go over some of the coolest features that stand out
00:36One of the first things you'll notice is the sketch now
00:39It's on the edge panel now, so you can kind of draw stuff
00:45Like I said, there's going to be a lot of AI-generated stuff
00:47So you can see watercolor, illustration, sketch, pop art
00:50So we'll do 3D, and it'll go ahead and generate these AI images for you
00:55So I think this is really cool for people who like to draw
01:00People who are creative and stuff like that
01:02And you can go ahead and download the image and stuff
01:05And I've always said these, the S-Pen is excellent for digital artwork
01:10If you go on YouTube, you'll see people doing amazing stuff with the S-Pen
01:14It's very accurate
01:16Then also we have the new Smart Select right here as well too
01:19And this is pretty cool because it makes the Galaxy now a very good
01:23Or even better multitasking device
01:25So we have the add to notes, we can copy, share, download the image
01:29We can add text to it
01:30And then also we can sketch to image, pen
01:33So I'm going to show you guys the sketch to image
01:35I thought that was pretty cool
01:36So we'll draw like a little eyeball right here

01:42And I know some of you guys hate the AI stuff
01:45You know, this is where smartphones are moving
01:48We kind of hit like a bar with the hardware
01:53But you guys can see right here
01:55Pretty cool stuff right here
01:57So you can go ahead and enhance the images if you want
02:00And get some really cool photos or wallpapers
02:04You know, just do whatever with your wallpapers
02:06That's pretty cool
02:07Also with this, you can go ahead and pen whatever you highlight
02:13So if I want to go ahead and pen it
02:15And then, you know, bring something else up
02:17Do research, stuff like that
02:19It just makes the S24 a better multitasking device as well too
02:23Alright, so the next pretty cool feature here
02:25We're going to go into settings
02:27And we're going to go to security and privacy
02:30If we scroll down
02:31You guys know the auto blocker
02:33This was a security feature that Samsung introduced
02:36To just make the device a little bit more secure
02:38Something that I really liked
02:39Especially for people who are not so tech savvy
02:42You turn this on
02:43It'll be hard to get scammed with phishing stuff
02:45You know, phishing scams and stuff like that
02:47But now they've doubled down on it
02:49So now you have maximum restrictions as well too
02:52So it turns on app protections
02:54It just gives you a bunch of additional stuff
02:57So it makes it really hard for you to really get hacked
03:00And stuff like that
03:01Most people get hacked through phishing scams
03:03Like hyperlinks and stuff like that
03:05And also it secures your albums as well too
03:09And then you also do have
03:10You can block the device admin applications as well
03:13Now the next feature is in the Notes app
03:16And it's pretty much the stuff that we already talked about
03:19But it has made its way to the Notes application
03:23So that is going to be the AI sketch stuff as well too
03:26We click the AI button here
03:33Select it
03:34Generate
03:41And I guess it saw that as a potato
03:44And then you can go ahead and add a note to it
03:47So you can do that from the Notes as well too
03:49I think the majority of people are probably going to do it that way
03:52Instead of just the free form on the homepage
03:57And then also we do have voice recording now
04:01Which has already been here
04:03But you can hear, you can see it now
04:05It's recording up here
04:07And now if I go ahead and stop it
04:10You actually see a text
04:11So transcribe your voice recordings into text
04:14This one is a new thing
04:16And it's somewhat
04:18Last time I played with it, it was kind of accurate
04:21And you also, it can also differentiate
04:23From different speakers as well too
04:29Yeah, so it kind of picked me up
04:31As multiple speakers
04:32And it's pretty cool

04:40Now here's a feature that I absolutely love
04:42This might be the best feature of this update
04:46So when you go into Notes, you click on the AI button
04:49Now you have a composer
04:51So this is for people who want to write stuff
04:54And you basically throw your idea in here
04:57And you can go ahead and do it by email, social media, comment
05:01This is really awesome, I actually love this
05:03Polite, casual, professional
05:05So we'll do something like a social media
05:09You want to send somebody something
05:11And we'll do it like casual
05:13And I want to start off by

06:26It'll basically ask you if you want to

06:45So that's pretty cool
