00:00What do you think about the Vittorio Foundation's report?
00:04From the point of view of the Vittorio Foundation,
00:07the reading that is given of these first data
00:12of the survey work that has been curated and that we are discussing today
00:17also confirms our other surveys.
00:21There is a very clear perception of priorities.
00:25Young people want a stable job,
00:29they want a dignified salary, they want a dignified job
00:33and, of course, they are attentive to what is called social and environmental sustainability.
00:39They clearly perceive the risks that we face every day,
00:44the risk of having a low-paid job.
00:47Italy is a country that has a primate and has managed to reduce wages in the last 30 years.
00:52Probably young people are starting to understand this.
00:55Having a non-stable job, having a problem with access to public health,
01:01because when you worry about health as a young person,
01:04it means that the level of insecurity has really entered the depths of our society.
01:10It seems quite clear to me that even compared to what is happening around them,
01:18they have clear and precise ideas.
01:22There is an environmental risk, so, of course,
01:26changing our lifestyles and going towards, not generically, a green world,
01:33but a world that manages to deal with these transitions
01:37is, of course, felt by young people as an absolute priority.
01:42So, of course, I don't know how to respect the environment, which is the minimum,
01:46but to build a social model that is compatible, I would say,
01:51with the survival of the human species on the planet, which is a slightly more complex thing,
01:55and which, of course, concerns young people who will experience these changes in a much deeper way,
02:00because the increase in temperatures will have a huge impact on their lives.
02:04They know this, so it is very important to discuss these issues
02:08and build widespread awareness.
