00:00I spent eight years trying to reach him and then another seven trying to keep
00:04him locked away because I realized that what was living behind that boy's eyes
00:07was purely and simply evil. Here's a look at the custom 78 phase one project by
00:11Macabre Art Studios and Rhino Dioramas.
00:19I'm afraid that death has come to my little collection. Before that we find
00:23out what's the matter with Mikey, I'd like to thank Daniel over Macabre Art
00:26Studios that did provide this sample. Now this is a limited run of only ten
00:30produced worldwide. Once those ten are sold that's the last you'll see of
00:34Michael Myers until of course he comes back as an adult. Daniel though has five
00:37more of these available to sell. If you guys are interested and would like to get
00:41your hands on this limited run you can reach out to him over on Instagram. I'll
00:45provide, don't worry, I'll provide links down below in the video description.
00:47There is a monthly payment plan as well available. Daniel does offer that to
00:50collectors. There's a $250 deposit required if you guys would like to get
00:54your hands on one. Now of course I'm gonna take the tape measure and figure
00:57out how tall the figure stands. For the sake of keeping this guy intact I'm
01:01gonna keep him also on his display stand. We're gonna measure from the display
01:03stand up. Based at least on that you're looking at young Michael Myers standing
01:08at nine inches in height. Translating though to a figure that's 23 centimeters
01:12tall. Yes as you can already see young Myers is standing on top of his display
01:16stand. I'm gonna go carefully remove the figure. I'm just gonna put him off to the
01:19side here because I did want to show you guys what the display stand looks like.
01:23Now the stand and the pumpkin that we haven't yet looked at, it's just over
01:25here, was produced by Rhino Dioramas. I'll also put links down below in the
01:29video description if you guys want to follow him over on Instagram there too.
01:32Now the display stand of course depicts the opening scene where Michael is first
01:36discovered by his parents walking out of the Myers household. Got a sidewalk
01:39feature here in the front. I love the cracks and the aging that they've given
01:42to the actual sidewalk. You can also see as well there's these magnetic
01:46pegs. These will actually then attach to the magnetic pumpkin and the pumpkin
01:50will light up. Of course there is an adjustable neck here that's attached to
01:53the back here. You've got several of the stones that lead up to the Myers home
01:56estate. One thing I really think that's clever though that they've done for the
02:00display stand is that they've added flocked grass. You can't actually be able
02:04to feel this but you'll have to feel it through me. Wait that doesn't sound right.
02:07If you feel this though you can actually there's a nice little bit of flocking
02:11that they've added to the grass. On the back though what's interesting too is
02:14they have a USB-C connection port and it also does come in clear with a USB cord.
02:19You plug that into the back that will then illuminate the pumpkin when the
02:22pumpkin is attached onto the display stand. Speaking of the pumpkin, getting
02:26closer look at this. Now this is a prototype of the pumpkin so this one
02:30actually doesn't light up. I was looking inside and I don't see an actual bulb
02:33but when you do actually end up purchasing one of these for yourself
02:36your pumpkin will light up. On the bottom of the pumpkin you can see as well
02:39matching pegs, matching connectors again that will attach onto the display stand.
02:43Faithfully recreating of course the 78 pumpkin. I think they've done a really
02:47nice job on it. Spinning this around so you can do I'm gonna do at least my best
02:51to show you as much of the details as I possibly can for the figure. I mean
02:54obviously we're only just looking at the pumpkin alone but you can see the amount
02:57and attention to detail that went into the pumpkin. Now of course you can have
03:01this displayed on this side. It doesn't have to necessarily be on this side but
03:05if you do want this to illuminate this will attach right here and it attaches
03:09pretty securely. I'm being of course very careful not to tip it upside down but
03:13the pumpkin does stay securely in place. Once then you connect the USB cord on
03:17the back. Now I've already tried this. The pumpkin didn't illuminate but it could
03:20also be the fact that this was the prototype of the figure. So yeah the
03:23pumpkin would go on here. If you did want to see a full video of what this looks

03:33videos over on his channel. Now again like I love the look of the pumpkin. The
03:37pumpkin does go very well to accent Michael Myers that's gonna be standing
03:40behind it and we'll just go ahead and put the display stand here for right now.
03:44The figure does also come in clear with the knife. Now the knife is made of real
03:48metal not to the point where I would run my finger across and worry that they'd
03:52be leaving behind some blood. Actually it already looks like Michael's been busy.
03:55I love the look of the blood. It looks very realistic and because of course they
03:59are using a real metal knife there's natural weight that goes along with it
04:02as well. Now the knife can fit into his hands. I'm gonna again carefully pick up
04:06Michael Myers here. He has one relaxed hand on one side and then he has a
04:10gripping hand on the other. So it already tells you which hand that he has to
04:13hold the knife in. I'm preferring though to have the knife upside down. We're
04:16gonna kind of slide the knife into his hand like that and Michael Myers can
04:20basically just stand outside waiting for his mom and dad to show up. This whole
04:23time I've kept the reveal hidden here as to what Michael Myers looks like
04:26underneath sort of keeping to the same idea of what it would look like at the
04:30beginning of the movie. The actual mask itself looks very accurate to the way it
04:34did in the original 78 film. Again it does have an elastic strap so you can
04:39see that this is the thing that's keeping it enclosed on top of Michael
04:42Myers face. I'll spin this around so you guys can see. Despite having such coverage
04:47over the front of his face you can still easily make out Michael Myers' eyes
04:50underneath. Let's go ahead and remove the mask. Now choosing you could I'm sure have
04:56the mask on the top of his head like this like he sees at the beginning of
04:59the movie. You can also choose as well just to take the mask off altogether. Now
05:03let's go ahead and put Michael back onto his display stand just to kind of keep
05:06him right there. We'll kind of come back to the figure don't worry. I certainly
05:09did want to show you guys what the clown mask looked like. It's the two-part mask
05:13so of course it does have the dividing line down below here. Nice and shiny. You
05:16can see very securely is the elastic strap attached on the back of it. A lot
05:21of nice work went into this. At some point I would love to get my hands on
05:26like a full one-to-one scale Michael Myers clown mask as a kid. Hang that
05:30downstairs in my basement but for the meantime a smaller size one will
05:33certainly do. It put a lot of paint to this. Definitely a lot of paint. A lot of
05:37work went into this mask. What I might just do though is I'm gonna leave it off
05:41for the entirety of this review. I'll probably come back to it as we jump to
05:44the turntable at the end of this review. Let's pick up though Michael Myers and
05:47get a closer look at the figure. Now the head sculpt itself was done by Daniel at
05:51Galactical Collectibles and you can see like the work that went into this. It's
05:56always amazing the fact that someone so talented as Daniel
05:59could like take an idea and put it to, in this case, the materials that he would
06:03have been using. It does obviously not feel quite like plastic but the head
06:07sculpt was fantastic on this. Sort of that blank lifeless look that Michael
06:12Myers would have had at the beginning. Of course it does have real worded hair.
06:15Some of the hair obviously has gotten a little more flattened down just because
06:19the mask was covering over top of it. The paint is quite incredible though. I like
06:24that generally he's got a pale complexion yet though they still managed
06:27to find... Daniel found a way to add some nice little rouge there in his cheeks.
06:30He's got a little bit above in his eye area there as well. Such a great looking
06:34head sculpt. Let's spin this around so you guys can see it from the back. Hair
06:38looks good though. It's to the point as well like it feels like it's rooted
06:41everywhere like there's no bald spots at all. Of course as we spin this around now
06:47he does have of course the clown costume. The clown costume for at least this copy
06:51is open but the actual physical run of figures that they're going to be
06:55shipping out will actually have a locking system on the back of the
06:58outfit so this won't be open the way that you're seeing it right now. The
07:01clown costume again I keep wanting to say accurate but I mean again like to
07:04look at this no real area was missed when it comes to the detailing that we
07:09see captured from the film. Of course got the pom-poms there featured on the front.
07:12The clown collar there on the top. Nice colors though added of the red and the
07:16yellow. We've got the blue and the red on the sides. It's a really really nice
07:19looking figure. Down below of course he does also have his sneakers. Now the
07:25sneakers themselves as you can see are ball-jointed so there's hinge joints
07:29right there as well. Spin this around now. Obviously this is just only going to be
07:33the original prototype figure. The one that you'll actually be getting if
07:37you choose to order this one for yourself is going to have more of the
07:40finishing touches added to it and again also have the illuminated pumpkin there
07:43too. Now for the figure's articulation carefully covering that. The head seems
07:48to be on a ball joint. I'm not going to do too much moving around though but the
07:51head does move up and down of course back and forth. The figure does also have
07:55some levels of posability in his torso, in his arms, obviously there's some elbow
07:59movement there in the hands, in the knees, all that stuff as well and of course
08:04down below here also in his feet. Again for me being that of course I'm going to
08:08be returning this figure back to Daniel I want to be so ever ever so careful to
08:12cover the details on him without damaging the figure at all. The thing
08:16I certainly hope that I can cover off at least the bases here in this review is
08:19to show you guys first of all like buy with confidence if you guys are really
08:22looking and you're getting into that custom six scale market. Daniel over at
08:26Macabre Art Studios not only that but also Rhino Dioramas who produced as well
08:30the pumpkin and that the display stand. Obviously buy with confidence you
08:34get yourself a really nice figure as a result of it. Now of course you can
08:39choose at the very end of this if you're looking to display this figure on the
08:42shelf you can display him with or without the mask. You can also really
08:45have the mask kind of just arched on top of the head. If I had realistically if I
08:49had the funds and I would have been able to get on board this very limited
08:52production run. Likely though I probably would have displayed young Michael Myers
08:56on the on the shelf with probably then the the actual clown mask a little bit
08:59further up on his head as of course we see the reveal of that the beginning of
09:03the movie. Nice job though overall from Daniel over at Macabre Art Studios
09:06Galactical Collectibles and of course Rhino Dioramas and again a big

09:12collaborative effort yields not only an eerie but awesome young Michael Myers. Now
09:16the clothing the weapon and the paint were all done by Macabre Art Studios. The
