00:00 All right, here we'll explore how to insert a table, customize its color, add or remove
00:06 rows and columns, and apply different emphasis styles to make sure that your table fits the
00:10 brand.
00:11 So, let's dive in.
00:13 So, let's say you want to insert a page with a table inside your presentation.
00:18 First thing you've got to do is insert a page that will allow the space for your table.
00:24 Let's say I take this one here.
00:26 I'll delete the content here.
00:29 The next thing I want to do is open the presentation kit PowerPoint.
00:34 So let's do that.
00:36 I'll go inside the presentation kit.
00:38 I can close the example here.
00:40 I'll go into the resources section.
00:43 And if you scroll down, near the end, you have the default table page here.
00:48 So what you want to do is select the table by the borders.
00:54 You want to copy it and paste it into your presentation.
00:59 So once that is done, next thing you want to do is make sure that the color of the table
01:05 fits the section that you're in.
01:07 Since where it was copy-pasted was in green, here we want to put it in purple.
01:12 So you're going to select the row that you want to change.
01:16 You're going to add to the table design and shading here.
01:21 By opening here, you'll see that the current color is green, but the pale is here.
01:27 So what you're going to do is you're going to select, you're going to go laterally and
01:31 select the one under the purple.
01:34 Redo this for the other rows and you're set.
01:40 Next thing we want to do is maybe add or remove a row or a column.
01:45 So let's explore some modification we can make to the table.
01:49 To remove a row or a table, you either select a complete row or you can just select a single
01:58 cell.
02:00 So let's say here I'm going to select this one here.
02:02 I'm going to go right-click on it and I'm going to go down to delete and then I can
02:08 either delete the column or the row.
02:10 So let's say here I'll delete the column.
02:14 So there you go, there's one less column in there.
02:18 Let's say, let's run it, let's go back, let's undo.
02:23 Let's say I want to delete a row instead.
02:28 So what I'm going to do, let's still select any of the cell that's in the row that I want
02:32 to delete and I'm going to right-click, delete, delete rows.
02:37 Here you can see the alternation of the rows does not follow.
02:42 So what we want to do is we want to remake the alternate pentadropes.
02:48 So what you're going to do here, I'm going to select all of those here.
02:51 I'm going to go into table design, the shading, and I'm going to select it.
02:58 No field here.
03:00 And then I can go back here and insert the purple here.
03:06 As you can see here, it's not the same purple, but it's at the same place.
03:13 That means there's a certain change that you got to do.
03:18 What we can do is go look at inside here into the technical specificities and do the presentation
03:26 kit.
03:31 Here you can see it's a color, but at 35% transparency.
03:35 So what you're going to do is go back here, reselect, go here, it's selected.
03:42 I'm going to go more fill colors.
03:46 And then here we're going to do 35% opacity.
03:50 There you go.
03:51 So that way it's done.
03:54 And now you know how to do the dropes for the table.
03:59 Let's say I want a hat in Europe.
04:01 So what you're going to want to do, select the row here or a cell inside it and insert.
04:06 Let's say I want to insert below.
04:09 I'm going to insert a row below.
04:11 By default, it will copy the same formatting as the cell that were previous.
04:20 So here, got to update the appendage row, select, go here.
04:25 It's the purple.
04:27 So we're going to select again, more color fill and 35%.
04:33 All right.
04:37 If you want to add a column, same thing, insert column, you can choose to the left or to the
04:42 right.
04:43 Let's say to the right.
04:44 It will push down all the other columns in size.
04:51 So let's say I want to resize in there.
04:54 I'm just going to take the handle, resize it.
04:57 You can.
05:00 You can select any row that you want and in any column and you can resize them individually
05:07 as well.
05:08 Or what would you or what you can do here?
05:10 You can you can always resize them.
05:15 Proportionally.
05:16 So what you want to do is select the columns here in any any cell.
05:23 And then you're going to go into.
05:27 Layout.
05:29 And distribute columns.
05:32 What that will do is make sure that all the columns are the same width.
05:41 So what you want to do, what we can do next here.
05:45 Let's say I have way too much content here and I want to reduce the size of the rows
05:50 here.
05:51 So what I'm going to do is select the rows here.
05:54 I'm going to go into their layout here, cell margins.
05:59 What I want to do is reduce the cell margins a bit.
06:01 So I'm going to go, let's say, reduce it by half.
06:04 All right.
06:05 So there will be less space between the rows.
06:12 As as as you can see.
06:15 But you shouldn't you shouldn't change the margins unless it's really necessary.
06:22 Try to work with what we have here.
06:25 OK.
06:26 All right.
06:28 So these are some of the modifications and things that we can do now.
06:32 I'll show you how to make them phases that are shown into the presentation template here.
06:40 Presentation get.
06:42 Under right, the page before the phases here, as you can see, the first phases here is a
06:50 bold second phase.
06:52 This is a bold color and the size up.
06:56 And you can also have a seven phases that you can apply to rows or column here.
07:02 Here in this page, you can visually see see them.
07:05 But if you go into the technical specificities down here.
07:09 Into the last part, you have all the information that can that you need to perform and make
07:17 those in phases.
07:18 So what we're going to do here, we're going to go one by one and make them.
07:23 All right.
07:24 So let's say I want to put an M phase number one to this row here.
07:29 So it's simple.
07:31 Just go here.
07:32 Take.
07:33 Take the font and simply put it in bold.
07:40 Let's say I want to make only those two cells here, I want to make them pop.
07:47 So what I'll be able to do in phases two, if you remember, it's bold text section color
07:55 and make the text size a fourth bigger.
07:59 So by default, it's 24, so we're going to go to 30 size.
08:05 It's normal.
08:06 It's going to resize the rows a bit because of the margins, going to push the margins
08:11 up a bit.
08:13 We're going to change the section color to which sections you're in.
08:17 So purple and we're going to make them bold.
08:21 So here.
08:23 So that's how you put you make the second and phases here.
08:29 And lastly, we'll make a.
08:34 Cell and phases or row and phases and go here.
08:39 Select the row.
08:40 As you can see, it's section color and three points.
08:43 We're going to go into table design here.
08:48 This is the section where you can change the borders of the cells.
08:53 So let's make sure it's a solid line.
08:58 So there select three.
09:01 Get the section color and how to apply the borders is you just go over here, you select
09:06 the drop down menu, then you can see all the possibilities that you can hear.
09:12 It's the outside borders of the selection.
09:14 So we're going to do that.
09:17 And that's how you make it in the faces of the overall.
09:23 Same thing when you apply it to a column, though, you're you're going to want only to
09:29 take the content cells here and not getting the.
09:37 Column title, because otherwise it will look a little bit weird.
09:42 So just select the content here.
09:47 That's mostly how it works.
09:48 You can now go go and make your own updated with your information and everything.
09:55 And that's it.
09:57 If you have any more questions, just go take a look into the presentation kit and you will
10:02 surely be able to find what you're looking for.
