How to Create and Modify Hyperlinks in Your Presentation _

00:00 Alright, so here I'll show you how to create a hyperlink and modify the link to it.
00:07 So let's get started.
00:08 So to add a hyperlink to your slide, let's say you want to add, by pure hazard, the Daily
00:13 Motion website link.
00:14 So what you want to do is you select the text in which you want the hyperlink, you right-click
00:21 on it, you go down the menu, you click on hyperlink.
00:24 This will open a window where you can customize the display name you have up.
00:32 And if you change Daily Motion website, say update, when you're done with the link, and
00:39 you click on OK, it will update in the page.
00:44 There's three types of hyperlink that can be done.
00:46 First one is a URL.
00:47 So you paste the URL.
00:49 You can also link the hyperlink into the presentation by selecting a slide here.
00:59 You can always go to the slide titles there and select which ones you wanted.
01:03 And the third way is by an email address.
01:06 Here you'll enter the email you want to send it to, and you can also insert a default subject.
01:16 So let's say here I want the URL, I'll just click on OK, and you see the text updated

01:24 And that's it.
01:27 So let's say I want to change, I want to modify it.
01:31 The thing you got to do is you select it, right-click on it, go down to hyperlink, and
01:36 from there you can edit hyperlink, and it will open the same window where you can change
01:40 anything that's needed.
01:44 To preview the hyperlink, two ways to do it.
01:47 First one is selecting the text, right-clicking, going down the menu, hyperlink, click open
01:52 hyperlink.
01:53 It will open the URL or the link into a browser here.
02:01 And if it's a link into the presentation, it will send you to the page, and so on.
02:11 The second way to do it is simply by clicking on this slide show here, presentation mode,
02:17 and then clicking it in preview mode directly in the page.
02:23 From there you can always customize, you can select it, you can change the size, you can
02:27 change the color, anything you wish for.
02:34 The last thing that you can do is remove the hyperlink.
02:37 To do that, simply again, right-click on it, go into hyperlink, edit hyperlink, and from
02:43 there in this page you can click on remove link here, and it will be gone.
