Exploring the Resources in our Presentation Kit
Transcript
00:00 Hey there, in this video I'm going to walk you through the various resources that are available
00:04 to you in our presentation kit file. If you do not own the presentation kit file already,
00:11 we highly encourage you going to our branding guideline websites and download it from there.
00:15 So let's get started. First of all, there's a difference between the presentation kit file
00:23 and the presentation theme. The theme is a file that is going to be installed on your computer
00:29 or that when you click it, it's going to open an empty file in which you're going to be able to add
00:35 slides by clicking the add slides button. The presentation kit is the exact same file,
00:42 so with all the slides included in the master, but with various other pages ready for you to use
00:50 or copy paste into your own. So in this file, you're going to see the first part is all about
00:57 pages ready to use. If you want to start your presentation from this file instead of the theme
01:03 file, it's totally doable, but maybe you're going to have to delete a lot of pages to make it your
01:10 own instead of being just a kit file. The second part includes lots of different resources, such as
01:18 the specs here, basic specs of your presentation, meaning what is the color palette of our
01:25 presentation? How do you create gradients? Or what are the text styles in the presentation? Or
01:34 how do we make default lists? You can also see in another section here, various visual elements
01:42 that you can copy paste, such as a timeline, tables, little graphs, as well as different graphs.
01:51 And there's another section as well where you can copy paste full pages with devices ready to use.
01:56 If you want to use devices, Keynote doesn't allow, the way we make the template, to have the device
02:06 included in the slide. So if you want devices like this, you're going to have to get into the
02:11 presentation kit file and copy paste those pages. Those are all stuff that we're going to cover in
02:16 future videos, but at least now you know what is included in our presentation kit.
