00:00Hi, welcome back to my channel. In this video, I will explain the ending of The Casagrandes.

00:04So, let's begin.

00:06The Casagrandes Movie is a 2024 American animated fantasy comedy film based on the

00:11Nickelodeon animated television series The Casagrandes, a spin-off series of The Loud

00:15House.

00:16The film is directed by Miguel Puga.

00:19The plot revolves around Ronnie Anne and her family going to enjoy their holiday at their

00:22huge estate during her summer vacation, where Ronnie Anne meets new challenges, here is

00:26everything you need to know about the ending, just to let you know this video will contain

00:30spoilers.

00:31Mija wanted to spend her summer with her daughter, Ronnie Anne, and her entire family in Mexico.

00:37She managed to convince everyone to take a surprise trip to Mexico, as a part of Ronnie's

00:41birthday plans, so that they could revive their old days of the joyous New Fire Festival,

00:45a celebration to worship Chibri, the sun god, together.

00:48When they reached Mexico, Mama Lupe came to take the entire family to her estate, where

00:53they could all spend time together.

00:55All Mija wanted was to ensure that Ronnie Anne would spend more time with her family

00:58rather than spending her time all by herself, playing adventure games all day long.

01:03Even though the family was enjoying their time together, engaging in different activities

01:07like playing fireball and doing other family orientation activities, Ronnie was more like

01:10a free bird, trying to venture her way into nature.

01:14What was the legend of Pungwari?

01:16The legend of Pungwari said that the demigoddess had defied her mother, Sasiki, to try and

01:20become a goddess by stealing the many-faced mask.

01:23She also wanted to build a shrine for herself, and in her quest for it, she had been unknowingly

01:27opening the gateway of the underworld for the god of the underworld, Yukimu.

01:32In order to stop her from doing that, her mother, Sasiki, turned her into a mountain.

01:37How did Ronnie Anne release Pungwari?

01:39While skating on a mountain near her family property, on a video call with her friend,

01:43Sid, she tripped and cracked open a mysterious locket that she had bought at the flea market.

01:48She was shocked to see that there was a mini-earthquake and a swarm of moths circling her.

01:52She then realized that someone had been trapped as a result of the storm and helped her out

01:56from under a tree.

01:57Little did she know that it was Pungwari herself, whom she had released unknowingly from her

02:01locket.

02:02What was Pungwari's plan?

02:05Pungwari wanted a mortal to help her reach the mask that she needed in order to regain

02:08her powers, and hence lied to Ronnie, saying that she was just a regular human.

02:13She also told Ronnie that they had to get their hands on the mask before Pungwari did,

02:17as she would wreak havoc on the village.

02:19Ronnie and her were following the map that her uncle had given her.

02:23They went into a museum, where they found their way into a secret tapestry.

02:27Inside the tapestry, they came across the magical mask, and Pungwari immediately grabbed

02:31the mask, revealing her real identity to Ronnie.

02:34She then left Ronnie in that tapestry, which she couldn't exit on her own as it was locked

02:38behind a magical wall, and fled the place to build her new shrine and become the new

02:41moon goddess.

02:43However, Ronnie managed to find a magic mirror in the tapestry, through which she reached

02:47out to her family, telling them the entire incident.

02:50Later, her entire family came to her rescue at the museum.

02:55After rescuing Ronnie from the tapestry, they decided to stop Pungwari from opening the

02:58gateway to the underworld.

03:00Who was the real villain?

03:02Ronnie and her family came across an ancient illustration that stated that Pungwari was

03:06not the bad guy, but that it was Yukimu, the god of the underworld, who was the one planning

03:10to destroy the village.

03:12Pungwari was just focused on building herself a shrine, which had been creating a crack

03:15in the ground.

03:17Yukimu wanted to take the chance to come out of the underworld through that crack itself

03:20and wreak havoc on the people.

03:22Later, Ronnie reached out to Pungwari and told her the entire event, asking her to protect

03:27the people from the wrath of Yukimu.

03:29She further said that her mother, Sasiki, had only tried to protect her before and hence

03:33ended up turning her into a mountain.

03:35Pungwari realized her mistake and decided to save all the villagers from the wrath of Yukimu.

03:40How did Pungwari save her parents?

03:43When Yukimu had been destroying everything around him and sending fire minions to fight

03:47the people, Pungwari came to their rescue.

03:50While fighting the fire monster, she realized that he had captured her parents in two of

03:53the jewels that he had been wearing on his armor.

03:56Meanwhile, the Casagrandes had managed to get their hands on the sacred fire and the

04:00giant chancla at the shrine of Sasiki, which they flung at Yukimu, causing him to lose

04:04all his flame.

04:05When Ronnie's mother and grandmother were unable to lift up the chancla, the other women

04:09in the neighborhood helped them.

04:11The place was initially guarded by the women chancla warriors, worshippers of Sasiki, and

04:15that fighting spirit was still present in the local women of that area.

04:19This event finally helped Pungwari defeat the monster and help her parents escape the

04:23confines of Yukimu.

04:24Pungwari was happy to see her parents alive and said that her mother was right in stating

04:28that she was not yet fit to be a goddess.

04:31She gave up the magical mask to Sasiki and her father to help them protect the people

04:35and to mend all the destruction caused by the war.

04:38The animated fantasy comedy The Casagrandes Movie gives out a strong message in favor

04:42of motherly love for their children.

04:44There is nothing greater than the love of a mother for her children.

04:48In that respect, Mija was no less than Sasiki in not thinking twice before wanting to sacrifice

04:52herself just to protect Ronnie.

04:54No matter how wrong Pungwari and Ronnie thought of their mothers, they never gave up on their

04:58children, ensuring their safety.
