00:10On today's show...
00:20Our first guest today, Dawn, is here to confront her granddaughter, Laura, who she says is a compulsive liar and a prolific thief.
00:28What happens if she's stolen this phone today?
00:30Well, that's it. I've finished with her. I don't want nothing else to do with her.
00:35I know full well I have not took my iPhone. I'm sick of the finger getting pointed at me.
00:38Well, don't just think negative, then, because you've accused her daughter, Hannah, right?
00:41She's got a past, everything.
00:44To prove it, you can all go...
00:47It's nothing to do with any of you, everything!
00:51Brian is your potential dad. He left when you were two.
00:55He just thought we went out for a picnic, but we never actually come back.
00:59You tuned in to the Jeremy Carl Show, and there was your dad, being reunited with a daughter.
01:06One of 14 children that he has.
01:1114 children?
01:13Yeah.
01:14How many of the 14 do you see?
01:16Four.
01:24APPLAUSE
01:39Hello, my friends. Good morning and a big, big welcome to the show.
01:41Our first guest today, Dawn, is here to confront her granddaughter, Laura,
01:44who she says is a compulsive liar and a prolific thief.
01:47Dawn says, six months ago, her mobile phone was stolen.
01:50She's certain Laura is to blame.
01:52She says that once the lie detector proves she is a liar, Laura,
01:55she will never, ever, ever be welcome in her house again.
01:59She says, does Dawn, make granddaughters no good?
02:02Dawn's on the Jeremy Carl Show that way.
02:13They tell me you're not a happy lady.
02:15No.
02:16No? No.
02:18Talk to me. This is your granddaughter, right?
02:21Anna is your daughter.
02:23Yeah.
02:24Lesley's here, your partner.
02:25You are 100% sure that Laura's taken this phone.
02:28Let's talk about it. This girl's got history, right?
02:30Yes. We've patched her up since she was eight years old
02:33and previously she's taken money from us.
02:36You've put a roof over her head for the last ten years.
02:40You say this is just the lowest thing that anybody could do.
02:45Yes. She just started stealing money.
02:48Did you discipline her?
02:50We, like, obviously confronted her and asked her to take the money.
02:54She kept denying it.
02:56It's interesting you say Laura moved out,
02:58things around the house stopped going missing.
03:00Yeah.
03:01You have no doubt that it's her.
03:03Yeah.
03:04What happens if she's stolen this phone today?
03:06Because I know she's stolen money before in your mind.
03:08What happens?
03:09Well, that's it. I've finished with her.
03:11I don't want nothing else to do with her.
03:13She's not welcome in my house again.
03:15You just say gut feeling is she's a thief.
03:17Yeah. He obviously gives her the benefit of the doubt.
03:21This girl says you've got no damn right to accuse her.
03:23You don't know who you're talking to. She would never do that.
03:25Laura's on the Jeremy Carl Show that way.
03:35Didn't even look at your accuser.
03:37No, I know because I know full well I have not took no iPhone
03:39and I'm sick of the finger getting pointed at me
03:41saying I've took it because I know full well.
03:43I'm the one that rang the show.
03:44Tell her not me.
03:45If I'm the one that's rang the show, I've got nothing to hide
03:48and I'm sick of it.
03:49It's constant, everyone point finger at Laura.
03:51Well, no, it's not happening because I have not took no iPhone
03:54and when this lie detector proves,
03:55I don't want nothing to do with not one of you ever again.
03:58Sorry, what are you saying? Who are you?
04:00I'm Dawn's, well, Leza's granddaughter.
04:02Did I ask you to speak?
04:04Did I ask you to... What's your name?
04:06Amy.
04:07Hang on a minute. You've got room to talk
04:08because you've been nicking money out of your mum's jeans pocket.
04:10She snuck in the bedroom.
04:12Snuck in the bedroom.
04:14When your mum, thinking your mum were asleep,
04:16pulled the jeans out of the bedroom, took money out of it
04:18and then threw it back in.
04:19But, little did you know, your mum were awake.
04:21Is that true or false?
04:22That's false.
04:23No, it's not.
04:24Why are you doing a lie detector then?
04:25To prove that I haven't took anything.
04:27So you're in the frame, yeah?
04:28Yeah.
04:29So why are you believing it's her?
04:30Because she's stolen before and never admitted anything.
04:33And you're the one that admits anything.
04:35You admit nothing at all.
04:36I'll tell you what it is.
04:37It's because I've moved out of grandad's
04:39and I'm not there to do your cleaning, your babysitting
04:41and all that stuff and not one of you is like it.
04:43That's what it is because I've moved out
04:44and got my own partner, my own little family going
04:46and you don't like it.
04:47No, it isn't.
04:48Yes, it is.
04:49No, it isn't.
04:50Dawn, you have to speak up.
04:51She said you treat her like a skivvy.
04:53No, we didn't.
04:54Because when I was cleaning up,
04:56when I was cleaning up, what was you doing?
04:58Sitting down on the iPad all day on Facebook, on games.
05:02And Amy can even consent to that
05:04because Amy didn't mean you was cleaning the house all the time
05:06and what was she doing?
05:07Sat down on the iPad doing nothing.
05:09No, she did help.
05:10No, she didn't.
05:11What, little bits doing dishwasher?
05:12You've accused her of something on national television.
05:15You haven't got any proof, have you?
05:17If you haven't got it in black and white or on camera...
05:19When I moved out of the house, nothing went missing.
05:22Answer that.
05:23As soon as I moved out of the house, everything stopped going missing.
05:26Definitely not.
05:27While you was there, money and everything was going missing.
05:30Definitely not.
05:31But as soon as you moved out...
05:32What, a pound or two when I was younger?
05:34It goes further than that.
05:35You said this woman who is not blood related
05:37is trying to turn my granddad against me.
05:39Yes, she is because...
05:40Tell her, not me, mate.
05:41He came round and said that granddad said he didn't want nothing to do with me.
05:44Why would he say that if he's brought me up since I was nine?
05:46Yeah, because he thinks you took his phone as well.
05:48Well, I'll prove it to you today then, won't I?
05:50I'll prove that I haven't.
05:51Are you annoyed your granddad's taken her phone?
05:53Annoyed? I'm shaking cos I'm that mad.
05:55And he knows that you've taken money.
05:56No, no iPhone has gone missing.
05:58Why do you think it's her daughter?
06:00Well, who do you think Nick to then?
06:01Cos you've accused her daughter Hannah, right?
06:03She's got a past of nicking.
06:04Has your daughter got a past of nicking?
06:06No, she hasn't.
06:07Can I get me a chair, please?
06:08What?
06:09No, she hasn't got a past of nicking.
06:10Yes, she has.
06:11Well, how come then, last time, when she came to the show,
06:13when Hannah was with me on the show,
06:15hang on a minute, she was in the police station
06:18in a police cell for robbing some shopping from Asda,
06:20£200 worth of shopping.
06:22That's why she couldn't come at the same time.
06:24Is that true?
06:25Hello, is that true?
06:27No, she hasn't.
06:28Go on, cover up.
06:29Let's get Hannah on the Jeremy Carl show.
06:31She's our next...
06:32CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
06:39Have you stolen before?
06:40Yeah, in the past, when I was a young teenager, yeah.
06:43So why is everybody pointing the finger at her?
06:45Because I'm the black sheep of the family,
06:47like everybody's saying.
06:48No, Laurie, it isn't like that at all.
06:50Yes, it is, I know full well it is.
06:51Laurie, everyone knows you've got a past,
06:53I've got a past, Amy's got a past.
06:55I ain't denied it, Amy ain't denied it.
06:57You're the only one that denies that you've ever...
06:59Denied? Because I haven't taken the iPhone.
07:01Once I prove it, you can all go...
07:04Nothing to do with any of you ever again.
07:07She's pointing at me all the time.
07:09It seems I'm here to prove that I ain't...
07:11Do you think she nicked it?
07:12Hang on a minute.
07:13I know what your mum says she has.
07:15And you've been in prison for nicking...
07:17I ain't been in prison.
07:18She said you were in a jail cell.
07:20Did you go in a police cell?
07:21No.
07:22I've never been in...
07:23In prison, I've never even been to prison.
07:25Eva got took to a police station or something
07:27cos she couldn't come at the same time as me.
07:29That's what annoys you, though,
07:30the fact that your grandad or you were close to,
07:32you feel is being turned against you
07:34by these two who aren't even related to you.
07:36And yours and your grandad's relationship
07:38is being affected.
07:39Yep.
07:40How do you answer that? Come on!
07:42I was only...
07:43Obviously, Jeremy, you've met me before.
07:45I came here with you, Laura.
07:46We've always supported Laura.
07:47When your mum wasn't there for you and whatever else,
07:49I came here, I came to support you,
07:51and then now you're accusing me
07:52and pointing the finger at me about the iPhone.
07:54Yes, but the best thing about it is since the last show...
07:56Yeah, I was at the iPhone the day the iPhone went missing.
07:58Is that still the iPhone?
08:00Would I have helped look for it?
08:01Well, God knows what time at night time.
08:03Did you steal the phone?
08:04No.
08:05Not at all?
08:06The lie detector is going to prove I haven't stolen the phone.
08:08You've done it as well, right?
08:09In a minute, by the way, those two lie detector results.
08:11Why have you done one, Amy, in the audience?
08:13Because I got accused, apparently,
08:15that I took the iPhone and I wasn't even...
08:17Well, that's why you've been doing it.
08:18But why are you in the frame? Were you there?
08:20No.
08:21I'm confused.
08:22Also, by the way, to be fair, grandad Les is coming out.
08:26You say,
08:27my relationship with him is really important,
08:29but that's being destroyed by these people.
08:31You say he believes she's nicked it, yeah?
08:33Yeah.
08:34We'll get Les and treble lie detector next.
08:36Don't go anywhere.
08:37She's stolen one of your phones.
08:39But you don't even know that for sure, do you?
08:41Yes.
08:42Had you?
08:43Because there was no-one else in the house.
08:44There was no-one else in the house.
08:45You've got to answer that.
08:46You were saying that about the iPhone,
08:48but look how many people were in and out of your house that day.
08:54Have you been accused of cheating?
08:56Do you need to prove your innocence with a lie detector?
08:59If you're 18 or over and you want to be considered for the show,
09:02text the word TALK today, plus your name, to 63334.
09:05Text costs 25 pence, plus one standard rate message.
09:08You can call my team today.
09:09It's 09011.
09:11It's 123456.
09:13Calls cost 25 pence, plus your network access charge.
09:16Or email TALK at itv.com to get in touch with one of my team.
09:28Thank you very much indeed.
09:29Welcome back. Before the break, Dawn came out.
09:31She married to her grandad, Les, and you say,
09:33we took her in at nine to stop her going into care.
09:35Laura, the way she repays is his nick,
09:37and it started with fivers and tenners, and it's escalated.
09:40100 quid, now this iPhone.
09:42Whoa, whoa, whoa, no £100 has gone missing from me,
09:44and no £10 has.
09:45Neither has no £5.
09:47See what I mean? Pointing fingers constantly.
09:49The rent money.
09:51Have you ever admitted stealing anything?
09:53Yes.
09:54What?
09:55Like I said, when I was younger, I took the odd pound,
09:57two pound to school, they asked me, and I says,
09:59yes, I have taken it.
10:00Why didn't you ask for it?
10:02Because they don't always give me it when I ask.
10:04Oh, well, better.
10:05They don't have it.
10:06Whenever my mum and dad have ever had it and you ask for it,
10:09they always got it.
10:10Grandad Les, you were close to, he brought you up.
10:12Yeah.
10:13But now you say these people are turning him against you.
10:16Les is on the Jeremy Carl show that way.
10:18CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
10:22CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
10:26They're not bringing you on the show
10:28because they're trying to turn me against you.
10:30No, what it is is I rang the show to get him on.
10:32Your previous actions have made me think that...
10:34What previous actions?
10:36Stealing from us.
10:37And it wasn't £5, £10 and £100,
10:39so I don't know where you're getting that from,
10:41cos I've took no £100.
10:42And Amy was there at the time as well.
10:44Many, many times, you've taken money from us.
10:47You haven't admitted to it. Amy has.
10:49Not all my days, no, she hasn't.
10:51She's never admitted to taking money.
10:53Hold on a second, this is your granddaughter.
10:55This is the girl you took in at night and you've brought up.
10:58What makes you think that she...
11:00Cos this is presumption, isn't it? There's no fact here.
11:03How do you know she stole the phone?
11:05The phone. Because of her previous actions,
11:07where she's stolen money before, there's been no-one else...
11:10But you don't even know that for sure, do you?
11:12Yes.
11:13Yes, cos there was no-one else in the house.
11:15There was no-one else in the house.
11:17You've got to answer that.
11:18You were saying that about the iPhone,
11:20but look how many people were in and out of your house that day.
11:23You're calling her a liar on national television.
11:25I'm concerned if you're wrong, you're going to look like a right idiot,
11:28it's going to affect you and her forever.
11:30I've said once I've proved I ain't stolen the iPhone,
11:32that is it, I want no contact with anyone.
11:34But this was the most important person in your life.
11:36Yeah, it was. Well, talk to him.
11:38But he's obviously believing them. What am I supposed to do?
11:40Talk to him.
11:41But you have stolen in the past from us.
11:43Not the £100, £5 or the £10,
11:45a pound, pushing it to £3, and I haven't stolen the iPhone.
11:50There's been more than that gone missing.
11:52It hasn't.
11:53How does it make you feel to think your granddaughter would do that?
11:56It doesn't make me feel very good at all.
11:59And I know over a period of time, maybe two years, two and a half years,
12:04as she got to be more of a teenager,
12:08that more and more money went missing.
12:12It started off with a few pounds.
12:14How do you firmly believe she's going to fail, Les?
12:17I don't know about the iPhone, but I know about the money.
12:20You don't know about the money. We're doing this on the iPhone.
12:22The money has nothing to do with this.
12:24We've come on the show for the iPhone.
12:26So let's get the lie detector results and call it quits.
12:28You think she's stolen the iPhone, definitely, don't you?
12:30Yeah. So do you, Hannah, don't you?
12:32What about you, Amy? You do as well, yeah?
12:3450-50. You what? 50-50.
12:35Oh, bed-sitting.
12:36You've done a lie detector result.
12:38Did you steal the phone that went missing from Dawn's house?
12:40She said no. Why did you say no?
12:42Amy was telling the truth. Amy was telling the truth.
12:44Give her a round of applause.
12:46Also, when we do best lie detector,
12:50we also ask somebody who is aware of her, is complicit.
12:53Do you know for sure who stole the phone that went missing from Dawn's house?
12:55Amy said no. She was telling the truth.
12:57Give her a round of applause.
12:59APPLAUSE
13:01Why are you doing a lie detector?
13:03Just so I can accuse me of it.
13:04You believe that she might have done it, yeah?
13:06We asked Hannah, did you steal the phone that went missing from your mum's house?
13:09She said no. Your daughter was telling the truth.
13:12Thank you. Thank you.
13:14Do you know for sure who stole that phone that went missing from your mum's house?
13:17Hannah said no. Your daughter was telling the truth on both questions as well.
13:21Do you want to apologise, then?
13:23Well done, and I'm sorry for accusing you.
13:25Yeah, there you go.
13:27After I've had to drag my head in here when I've got two kids,
13:31and I've spent all day, I've been asleep, and...
13:34Look, for what?
13:36Did you steal the phone that went missing from your grandad's house?
13:38We asked Laura. You said no. Why did you say no?
13:40Because I was telling the truth.
13:42It's tested you're a liar, darling.
13:44Stone-cold liar.
13:46I ain't stolen no iPhone.
13:48Shout a good fight, darling. Time to tell the truth.
13:50They took you in, and that's how you repay them?
13:52No, I've stolen no iPhone.
13:54Disgusting. Wrong.
13:56You had a chance to run up to it, Laura.
13:58Your grandad, and you do it by saying they're against you.
14:00What are you going to do now, eh?
14:02Shout and scream and run away? Why don't you admit what you've done?
14:05Because I've stolen the iPhone.
14:07CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
14:09You never admit to anything.
14:11My mother-in-law came to your house that night and asked you if you'd taken it.
14:14You had the opportunity. Yes, and I said no,
14:16because I haven't taken the phone.
14:18Then why did you fail the lie detector?
14:20Cos you're a liar, that's why.
14:22You know you are.
14:24Why don't you look your grandad in the eyes,
14:26and the disappointment he must feel will be palpable?
14:29You're a thief. Admit it. No, I'm not.
14:31Admit what you've done. No, cos I've stolen the iPhone.
14:33I know full well, deep down, I've stolen the iPhone.
14:35Les? Why don't you just tell us why you wanted...
14:37One at a time, go on, Les.
14:39Why did you want the money if you did take it?
14:42Did you sell it for money? I don't know.
14:44I haven't taken the phone. Yes, you have.
14:46No, I haven't. You do me a favour.
14:48Can you two get off the stage?
14:50We watched this. You two, we watched this.
14:52Come here. Day in, day out.
14:54Come here.
14:59That's your grandad, mate.
15:03Tell him the truth.
15:05We watched this day in and day out.
15:07We know that these are not made up.
15:10If you've done it, it doesn't matter.
15:12No, because I know I haven't, and I'm sick of people pointing fingers at me.
15:15I don't know. Babe, listen to me.
15:17I don't know personally, but I'm pretty sure that...
15:21having gone through what you've gone through
15:23and been brought up by this couple,
15:25and then you do feel like you're pushed from pillar to post,
15:29and you do feel like an outsider,
15:31and whether you mean to be...
15:34..bad or whether it's to get attention,
15:37look at him.
15:39Look at your grandad.
15:42He loves you, you idiot,
15:44and you can fix this if you just swallow your pride.
15:48Forget them, forget Hannah, forget Amy.
15:51Look at your grandad.
15:58APPLAUSE
16:04Hannah.
16:08Why did you steal it?
16:10I stole it.
16:12It doesn't matter. It's a phone.
16:14The things that go on in the world.
16:16Look at me.
16:18Five years ago, I wouldn't have said that.
16:20You can save this relationship.
16:22I thought I'd be... I actually feel sorry for you in a way,
16:25but I will get far more admiration if you just tell him the truth.
16:28We all know, and it doesn't matter, it's a phone.
16:31This man needs you to look him in the...
16:33Look at him. It's a nice man. Tell him the truth.
16:36It's your grandad. Tell him the truth.
16:38I haven't stolen it. I know full well I haven't.
16:41I don't know why it's come on like this, then.
16:43I won't leave you, do I? Why are you crying, then?
16:46Because I'm sick of everyone pointing fingers at me.
16:49Why don't you clean it off and wipe the slate clean
16:51and start again by telling him the truth?
16:53Cos that would do you, wouldn't it? Yep. Definitely.
16:56Forget them. Look at him.
16:59Listen. Listen.
17:01You feel like you've lost him, don't you?
17:03Tell him. Tell him.
17:06Tell him. He knows.
17:08No, he doesn't, do you?
17:10I don't know. I know that she loves me.
17:12Well, you should have known that already. Yeah.
17:14Oi, I quite like you just telling the truth, for God's sake.
17:17Forget them. It's your grandad.
17:19And I'll tell you what you will do if you admit the truth.
17:22You don't have to do it right now, but you will do it.
17:24You'll feel this most huge surge of relief.
17:26And he, I'm telling you, will stick up for you.
17:29Because all he wants is for you to be honest.
17:31He'll tear this up and it's the end. Finished.
17:34Yeah?
17:36You know you stole him. I know.
17:39You do me a favour and sit in a room with him.
17:41Nobody else. Talk to him. No, I don't want to.
17:44I just want to get out of here. I want to go home.
17:46BS.
17:48I do. Your passion, your tears, your everything
17:51tells me this man's the most important person in your life.
17:54Yeah, he is, but I don't want to sit in a room and talk.
17:57I'll arrange a time to talk with him when it suits me.
18:02What about what suits him?
18:04Well, I don't have time. Don't act like a sport brat.
18:06Of course you've got time. You've got time now before you get in the car.
18:0920 minutes of your life is nothing, just you and your grandad.
18:12Nothing to lose. Nothing to gain.
18:14Car won't be there for 20 minutes cos I'll make sure it's not.
18:17Talk to your grandad. No.
18:19I won't let anybody talk bad about you if we just sort it.
18:22See? See? See?
18:25Talk to your grandad. Five minutes, nothing to lose.
18:28Talk to him. Yes?
18:32That way. Not them. With your grandad.
18:35No. Yes. No. Yes.
18:39Then sort it out. Thank you.
18:48Good luck to them, I hope they can sort it out.
18:50Right, my next guest, Aaron, is here to see if he's finally found his dad.
18:55Since his father Brian left when Aaron was about two years of age,
18:58he's never seen him, leaving Aaron wondering why his father never wanted him.
19:02He's been back in touch with Brian for the last couple of years
19:05but today they'll come face to face for the very first time since he was a baby.
19:09This guy is desperate for answers and he hopes that if DNA proves
19:12Brian definitively is his father, he'll finally accept him as a son,
19:16they can have a relationship.
19:18In the midst of this, I genuinely feel sorry for, but he's a nice young man.
19:21Aaron's on The Jeremy Carr Show. That way.
19:30I think of all the stories I've done for a long, long time,
19:34this really made me mad this morning.
19:37Aaron, Brian is your potential dad. Yeah.
19:41You're here to see if he is your father.
19:45Growing up, what do you know? Was he around? What have we got?
19:48He wasn't around for the most part. I sort of grew up alone.
19:52He left when you were two, so you were told that? What?
19:56We just sort of left. He wasn't told.
19:59He just thought we went out for a picnic, but we never actually come back.
20:02I grew up not liking him. I heard he was abusive. I heard he was a drunk.
20:05Yeah, I heard he was a drunk.
20:07When I texted him, he said he recovered six years ago.
20:10He's been six years clean.
20:12It made me realise maybe he isn't capable of change.
20:15Growing up, I was also told he was dead.
20:17Every year for Christmas, I asked Santa every year,
20:20I want him under the tree.
20:22I always wanted to wake up one day and him be there.
20:25You're a very honest young man.
20:27You said, this guy's had every opportunity to find me, he's never bothered.
20:30Frankly, it galls me that you're the one making the effort, right? Yeah.
20:34Now, this is the twist that I didn't think I'd ever do.
20:37You sat down with a cup of tea and a piece of toast
20:40and you tuned into the Jeremy Carle show, and there was your dad.
20:44Being reunited with a daughter.
20:49Ready for this?
20:51One of 14 children that he has.
20:55But here's the best bit.
20:57He's only bothered to find three of them, hasn't he? Yeah.
21:01But I don't actually think he's bothered to find any of them.
21:04They've found him. You must have done your head when you see him
21:07pouring his heart out and talking to your sister.
21:10How did it make you feel?
21:12It was a bit surreal.
21:14Because at this point I didn't actually know what he looked like or what he was.
21:17I didn't know who he was until I was told afterwards that he was my dad.
21:20I just thought Kay was on there, my sister was on there
21:23with one of her boyfriend's friends or something.
21:25You texted him a year ago saying, I'm your son, how are you?
21:28He calls, you have a chat, he hasn't bothered since. No, not really.
21:33And yet still you're sat here saying, I can't wait to meet him.
21:38Why are you so nice?
21:40I feel like he's my dad, he's the reason I'm here.
21:43I have to give him something, don't I?
21:45Well, I'll tell you something that I do want you to know, and this is the truth.
21:48You're 19. Yeah.
21:50You've got more class in your little toenail than he's got in his entire bedroom.
21:58And here's the worst bit. I'm going to go to a break,
22:00then we're back with him and Crucial DNA.
22:02He says, I'm here to prove to her I'm his dad.
22:04I've got no doubts, DNA will prove it.
22:06Question is, Brian, think on this.
22:08Where the hell have you been, then? I'm right back.
22:11You can't justify what you've done. I know that.
22:13Then talk to him, because he wants a relationship, Brian.
22:17I'm on with my son. Then...
22:19He is my son, that is.
22:30Thank you very much indeed. Welcome back, before the break, Aaron.
22:33The only thing I want to say to you, and I'm going to sound like your dad,
22:36but don't expect too much today, pal.
22:39Take it for what it is.
22:42He's going to come out and say,
22:44I had no clue I even had him until he was five.
22:47How old are you? 19.
22:49Where have you been for the last 14 years, then, Brian?
22:52Brian's on The Jeremy Carr Show that way.
23:01Brian!
23:03Brian!
23:05I think that reaction about sums it up, doesn't it?
23:08No, not really.
23:1014 children. Yeah, and?
23:15And do you know the worst thing? Go on.
23:18Whether you like this or not, you've just walked 25 yards,
23:22you've never even seen him, and you don't embrace him or talk to him,
23:25you don't do anything, that about sums you up, Brian, doesn't it?
23:29Nothing.
23:31You don't deserve this kid. Full stop. End of story, Brian.
23:37Can I say my side? Your side?
23:4014 kids? Yeah.
23:42I've not seen this lad since he was two-year-old.
23:45I didn't even know where they were.
23:47Hold on a second. So you knew he existed, yeah?
23:49No, I didn't know he existed until I came on your show.
23:52But why would you go and see him for two years if you didn't know he existed?
23:55Because I didn't see him for two years.
23:57I'm talking sense, mate. I can do this all day.
23:59I'm not even in first gear.
24:01From nought to two, you knew he was your son, yeah?
24:03No, I didn't know he was my son.
24:05Well, why did you see him then?
24:07Because I was seeing my other kids at the same time.
24:09But he rang you a year ago. You haven't done anything for him.
24:11He says you haven't talked to him.
24:13I haven't been in touch with your own.
24:15In the past year, I think we've had three, maybe four conversations.
24:18Yeah, because I've hung you.
24:20You've been saying you've been too busy working and stuff,
24:22so I said, will you ring me any time you want?
24:24You were on this show being reunited with your daughter.
24:26He saw that.
24:27I can't travel down to Kent. It's too far.
24:29I can't travel too far.
24:33Because I've got my hospital spirosis on me back.
24:35I can't travel when I'm all in the back.
24:37I've got hospital spirosis on me back, but I can't travel too far.
24:40And it stopped you having 14 kids and abandoning them all.
24:42I didn't have it then.
24:43How many of the 14 do you see?
24:45Four.
24:47How does that make you feel?
24:49It makes me feel really bad.
24:50Then here's a chance, pal.
24:52You didn't even come out here with anything like,
24:54my God, Aaron, I'm sorry, this is amazing.
24:56I've been an awful father. Please forgive me.
24:58I want to have a relationship.
25:00He came out with your jaw set. I'm going to justify.
25:02You can't justify what you've done.
25:04I know that.
25:05Then talk to him, because he wants a relationship, Bri.
25:08I've got one with my son.
25:10If he's my son, that is.
25:14I thought you had no doubts.
25:16I've got doubts. Lee's saying I'm not his dad
25:19because he was told his dad had died.
25:21So how can I be... If his dad's died,
25:23how can I be his dad if his dad's dead?
25:25Give me the DNA results, please.
25:27All I'm saying is now, if he is my son,
25:29I'm going to step up the effort and make sure I'm there for him.
25:32Look at him. I am looking at him.
25:34I am looking at my son.
25:36If he's my son, I'll make sure I'm there for him.
25:39Don't you wish or think you should have done this a long time ago?
25:42Yeah.
25:43He is your biological father.
25:45APPLAUSE
25:52He's really lucky, isn't he?
25:59Aaron would want me to give you a chance.
26:01Go on, Brian, you've got it.
26:03I just said to him then, I'll try and step up a bit harder
26:06and talk to him more and try to get the team a bit more.
26:09And they can come up to me if they can get up here.
26:12A bit, a bit, a bit.
26:13No, as much as I can. That's all I can say.
26:15I'll do as much as I can.
26:17You haven't said anything since your dad came out?
26:20I don't really know what to say, to be honest.
26:22But I just feel like you haven't got to make all the effort.
26:25I'm willing to come up to Manchester.
26:27You're so nice. Oh, God.
26:29APPLAUSE
26:35I don't even mind coming down for the day
26:37and watching a Man United game with you.
26:39That's all I've ever wanted, you know,
26:41someone to talk to about my hobbies.
26:43Man United, oh, bad subject.
26:45I'm not a Man United fan, just to clarify.
26:48I'm an Arsenal fan and he's a West Ham fan.
26:50And I'm a Chelsea fan, that makes it even worse.
26:53Sorry, Jeremy, I had to get the winning.
26:59You laugh about that, you're passionate about that,
27:01but are you passionate enough about your kids, pal?
27:03Yes, I am. I'm going to make the effort.
27:05I'm really going to make the effort.
27:08The truth is, there are plenty of kids, I guess, like Aaron, who...
27:13Have never seen their dads.
27:15No, who wouldn't want to give their dad a second chance.
27:17Exactly.
27:18The guy's that decent, he says he'll come up and see you.
27:22I appreciate that.
27:23When I've said I'd meet him in Manchester or wherever,
27:25he wants me to meet him.
27:26Do you not feel like you should apologise to him?
27:28I haven't apologised, yes.
27:29I apologised when I hugged him.
27:31Why are you such a good person?
27:33I don't know.
27:34Sometimes it kills me that I'm such a good person.
27:36Does it?
27:38I mean, I wasn't very liked at school, but I always wanted to be,
27:40you know, and I was willing to do anything and everything.
27:42I was extorted for money and...
27:45Oh, God, they've all fallen in love with you.
27:48You can't have him.
27:49He's with a girlfriend called Carly for 18 months.
27:52Have you got any kids?
27:53No.
27:54Good man.
27:56It's an unusual answer on this show.
27:58I reckon Carly better watch out.
28:00All the women will be after you.
28:02Bry, listen, one line you did give my team, which I like,
28:07once the DNA proves he's mine, which I believe it will,
28:09I hope you can forgive me for missing the last 19 years.
28:12Are you going to make it up to him?
28:13I'm going to try my best to make it up as best as I can.
28:15All that can be said, and, you know, at the end of the day,
28:18you just have to take that opportunity, because life is very sweet.
28:21Are you all right?
28:22Yeah.
28:24Does anything get you?
28:25No.
28:26I'm sort of relieved that I got the result I wanted, you know.
28:29You're a very, very nice young man, and, Brian,
28:31you should be very proud of him, where you haven't been around.
28:33We'll ask the two of you to go that way.
28:35Give him a round of applause.
28:36APPLAUSE
28:43Good luck to them.
28:44My next guest today, Kat, is here with her fiancé, James,
28:47for all-important double lie detector results.
28:49She says, since getting engaged just over two months ago,
28:52Kat is adamant that he has been cheating after, I love this,
28:55she saw a woman running from their flat with a red face and a bedhead.
28:58Ooh!
29:00Kat is furious that James is now accusing her of cheating too,
29:02so today she says, I'm going to clear my name, I want the truth.
29:05This is a massive, massive day.
29:07The wedding is on hold until she gets the truth.
29:10Kat to the Jeremy car show that way.
29:12CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
29:19You all right? Yeah.
29:20Welcome to the show.
29:24Thing is, we've met before.
29:26We have, yeah.
29:27You came on with an ex and failed the lie detector.
29:31Yep.
29:32Because you were a cheat.
29:34I was, but I admitted to James straightaway,
29:37first in the relationship, that I failed my lie detector test.
29:40Nyeh-nyeh-nyeh-nyeh-nyeh.
29:42So the lie detector was right last time?
29:44Yeah, I admitted that on the show. Right, OK.
29:46So now you're... How long have you been with James?
29:48Five months. How did you meet?
29:49Well, we met five years ago,
29:51and then we came back together five months ago at a carnival night.
29:55Carnival night? Yeah.
29:58Basically, all these floats and stuff.
30:00I know what a bloody carnival is.
30:03Apparently, you moved in on the...
30:05We shared our first kiss in a port-a-cabin.
30:07Yeah.
30:09Lovely, eh?
30:10Just a kiss or anything else?
30:12Just a kiss.
30:13Right, how long did it take you to have a full physical relationship?
30:16Cos you moved him in the first night, didn't you?
30:18Yeah, he stayed at my B&B the first night.
30:20And he hasn't gone, has he? No.
30:22So you're doing a lie detector and he's doing a lie detector.
30:24Why is he doing a lie detector, then?
30:26Because I came home one day after going to a voluntary interview
30:29and this girl's come rushing out my flat.
30:31Yeah, we're going to talk about this.
30:32She comes rushing out the flat with a red face and bed head.
30:35What's bed head?
30:36Basically, her hair's all messed up.
30:37What, as if it's been on a pillow being moved around a lot like that?
30:40Well, yeah, basically.
30:41Not only have you got a reputation,
30:43but he's cheated on every girlfriend he's ever been with,
30:45and this woman comes out your flat with a red face, red in the...
30:48Why would she be red in the face?
30:50I don't know.
30:51With bed head?
30:52Yeah, and I've gone upstairs and he's sat on the sofa
30:54and he's all red-faced as well.
30:57Also, is it not true that the woman who came running out your flat
31:01with a red face and bed head,
31:03hadn't he asked you at one point during the relationship
31:05to have a threesome with her?
31:06Yeah.
31:07And I said no.
31:09He's changed towards me.
31:11What?!
31:13The sex has gone from how many times a day to nothing?
31:16Five times a day.
31:18Do any of you... There's a woman that's gone...
31:22Five times a day?
31:23Five times a day?
31:24How do you have enough time to have it off five times a day?
31:28Well, Monday to Wednesday I'm not at college,
31:31and then I'm at college on Thursday and Friday.
31:33How do you fit it in Thursday, Friday, then? What do you do?
31:36Well, I just constantly go at night-time.
31:39Now there's no sex?
31:40No.
31:41Now it's all gone a bit wrong. It makes you sad.
31:43Yeah, because I love this guy to pieces.
31:46You haven't cheated on him?
31:47No, I haven't.
31:48Why's he making you do a test?
31:49Because I went to a Halloween party
31:51and he thinks that I cheated on him
31:53and I only found out earlier this morning
31:55that he checked my underwear the day after I came home.
32:00Oh, God.
32:01Hope he passes so we can get married on my birthday.
32:05Yeah.
32:06If he fails, the wedding's off.
32:07Yeah, definitely.
32:08So he might have been up to no good with the threesome,
32:10but with the red face and the bedhead, you haven't messed around,
32:12despite the fact you've failed on this show before,
32:14but you love this man, you want to be with him forever.
32:16Would that be a good synopsis?
32:17Yeah.
32:18I hope we get good news anyway.
32:20Because I love him to pieces.
32:21No, that's lovely. It's romantic.
32:23He says, I checked your knickers, love,
32:25because I'm worried that you're cheating.
32:26James is on The Jeremy Carl Show, that way.
32:28CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
32:32Yeah.
32:37Lion's about to threesome.
32:38No, it's not.
32:39You asked me if I would have a threesome.
32:41No, you asked me.
32:42You asked me because you were like, oh, let's go with...
32:45You asked me.
32:46No.
32:47You asked me.
32:48You asked me.
32:49Does it matter who asked whom?
32:51You are Jeremy.
32:52No, I'm not.
32:53How do you manage to have sex five times a day?
32:55What's the matter with me? How are you?
32:57Yeah, I'm good.
32:58Yeah.
32:59Let's just firstly talk about you.
33:00You met at the carnival, had a snog in the porter cabin,
33:02lovely life, went to move into the B&B,
33:04everything's hugely romantic, I want to marry you.
33:07But then she came home one day and there was this woman
33:09who came rushing out the flat with a sort of startled expression.
33:13Yeah.
33:14A red face. Where did that come from?
33:16And bedhead. What were you doing with her?
33:18Nothing. I was just sitting down watching TV.
33:20She was sat on the other sofa. She was sat on your sofa.
33:23Didn't you propose two-and-a-half months ago?
33:25It was quite romantic, wasn't it?
33:27Yeah, it was.
33:28We've got a video. It's nice, this.
33:30Taking his clothes off.
33:39Why is he taking his clothes...?
33:43I just got out of bed.
33:49Yeah.
33:50Being Mike Wolfe?
33:52Twice.
33:54You all right, though?
33:59Did you take the mum...? Oh, hello, they're off again.
34:02Yeah, I did take the mumming off.
34:09Anyway, the sex used to be five times a day.
34:12What happened to that? Why has that gone down the swanny?
34:14Cos I found out. Cos she got message...
34:17Well, I got message saying she was cheating on me.
34:19Have you cheated on him? No, I haven't.
34:21She's got a reputation. She's been on this show before.
34:23Yeah, I know. I've seen her on Tetris.
34:25And I openly admitted at the start of the relationship to you,
34:28did I or did I not?
34:29Yeah, you did.
34:31So you think she's going to cheat? Yeah.
34:33And what happens if she does? I'm off.
34:35Are you? I'm off.
34:36Gone? Yeah.
34:37And what about if he...? I'm gone.
34:39Everybody's gone.
34:43You've cheated on every girlfriend, though, haven't you?
34:46Most of them. What? Why?
34:50You? You've also... What?
34:52Basically.
34:56That's not very charming, is it?
34:58Yeah, I know.
34:59Brilliant.
35:01Back at the film.
35:02So you're going to pass, you're going to pass,
35:04so then we'll be able to set the wedding date and it'll be absolutely lovely.
35:07Could we pass it? Should we do it? Yeah.
35:09Yeah. Who...? I just want to find out.
35:11Well, that's why you're here. Yep.
35:13Right. Who should we start with?
35:15James.
35:16I mean, this really should be the honeymoon period.
35:18You've been together 140 days
35:20and you're already on The Jeremy Kyle Show.
35:22It's not great, is it?
35:24So, we're going to start with you, James.
35:26Yep.
35:27And as ever, the questions that we ask...
35:29How many people think James has cheated?
35:31Look at that. Look at...
35:33How many people...? Thanks.
35:34All right, don't start. It's got a TH, not an F.
35:36How many people think that Kat's cheated?
35:39Ooh.
35:40The older generation are supporting the girl.
35:42All right, ladies?
35:45We ask James, since the start of your relationship with Kat,
35:48have you passionately kissed any other person?
35:50James said... Why did you say no?
35:52I was telling the truth.
35:53This says you're a liar, pal.
35:54No!
35:56Since the start of your relationship with Kat,
35:58have you had sexual contact with any other person?
36:00You said no.
36:01This test says you're a liar, James.
36:03No!
36:04I don't want to upset you,
36:05but your fiancée has lied on every single question,
36:08including this one.
36:10You know what happened.
36:11What do you mean, you know you haven't?
36:13You've done it on every...
36:15Wait, hold on a minute, she said the lie detector's right
36:17cos she failed last time.
36:18What, are you telling me it's wrong?
36:20You know you've cheated.
36:21So I know what happened.
36:22Well, I know you have!
36:23No, I know what happened!
36:24Well, I know you have!
36:25No, I know what happened!
36:26Right, well, you have, haven't you?
36:28Well, you see, she's not...
36:31That's the reality, she was getting married.
36:35It's not gone very well so far, has it?
36:38Do you know what happened?
36:39Where are we going? Oh, here we go, the Kyle Olympics.
36:42Let's go for a run.
36:46Steve, you need to quicken up, mate.
36:49Hello.
36:50Kat, you know what happened?
36:51Can we slow down?
36:52Kat? Kat?
36:54Kat, I haven't got much energy left.
36:56Kat!
36:57Still got the oversized top on.
37:00You know I haven't cheated.
37:02So why did you fail the test, then, pal?
37:04What do you mean when I think of what happened?
37:07We asked Kat, and you said you believe that test is true for him,
37:11don't you?
37:12You do.
37:13You said we would sit down and have a talk about it.
37:15So what, why would you have a talk, then?
37:17Because you...
37:18I haven't cheated!
37:19And why would you...
37:20For a fact, I haven't cheated!
37:21Why are you getting arsey with me?
37:22Cheating on everybody?
37:24Past is the past.
37:25What do you mean, the past is the past?
37:27Why should you be...
37:28I wouldn't have put a ring on her finger if I was going to go and cheat on her.
37:31What was the girl doing running out of your flat with a red face?
37:34I don't know!
37:35Well, it looks like she was up to no good!
37:38She was flirting with me, yeah?
37:40I ain't done nothing!
37:41She flirted with you?
37:43You know she was flirting with me.
37:45You're the one...
37:46Kat, you believe the test, right?
37:48You even messaged her yesterday,
37:50have you done anything with James?
37:53She even turned around and said no.
37:54So you believe the test, yeah?
37:55Yeah.
37:56That's useful, because we asked you, since the start of your relationship with James,
37:59have you passionately kissed any other person?
38:00You said no, and this test says you're a liar as well.
38:02Oh!
38:04So you believe that test?
38:06Yeah, I do!
38:07Well, she failed every single question as well!
38:12Nah, I'm giving the ring back to your mum.
38:14Nah, I want her ring.
38:15She wants money.
38:16I want her ring, then.
38:18You want the ring back?
38:19Yeah, I do.
38:20So you're not going to be with her?
38:21So you admit you cheated?
38:23I never cheated!
38:24But you think she did?
38:26But you believe that, don't you?
38:28Because she cheated last time.
38:29You did cheat, didn't you?
38:30That's what got me down!
38:32Last time, but I haven't cheated on him.
38:34So basically, both of you don't believe the test?
38:36No.
38:37Oh, right. Well, it's a marriage made in heaven, so you don't need to give him the ring back.
38:40You can get happily married, despite the fact that you don't trust each other,
38:42and you might get back to five times a day.
38:44Truth is, you know you cheated.
38:46No, I didn't!
38:53What happens now, love?
38:55I don't know.
38:56You know you cheated, and I'll hear about it in a minute.
38:58Something happened.
38:59Just remember one thing.
39:00If you go on that test, and anything's happened, a kiss or a cuddle,
39:03and you lie, it will have you out as a liar.
39:05Oh, no, I haven't.
39:07Well, if you both think you haven't cheated...
39:09She messaged...
39:10Did you cheat?
39:11Yesterday.
39:12Did you cheat?
39:13No, I didn't.
39:14Well, then you've nothing to worry about.
39:15You can live happily ever after, but then it's not that happy,
39:17because it doesn't work.
39:18See ya!
39:20Jeez!
39:21That's that old boy, isn't it?
39:22Get the truth after the break on that stage.
39:24Let's just absolutely change tack.
39:26There's a mother on our stage,
39:28who nearly lost her daughter to a violent beating,
39:30and this woman says,
39:31I've got to come here, Jez.
39:32I'm terrified it'll happen again.
39:34It's not just about telling the story.
39:35I want my daughter to get back to where she was.
39:38We're right back.
39:39He battered her face to a pulp, really.
39:42He was dragging her about the house with her hair.
39:46He was kicking her and punching her on the floor.
39:49Thank you very much indeed. Welcome back.
39:51My next guest today, Pauline, is here with her daughter, Kerry,
39:54who was brutally beaten at the hands of an ex-partner.
39:56Now, since then, Pauline says that Kerry has made a slow recovery,
39:59but she says that Kerry is still making bad choices,
40:02and she's terrified that she may lose her daughter for good one day.
40:05She says, look, I'm here to help Kerry share her story,
40:08but I want to say a few words about her daughter,
40:10and I want to say a few words about her daughter,
40:12and I want to say a few words about her daughter,
40:14and I want to say a few words about her daughter,
40:16and I want to say a few words about her daughter,
40:17and I want to say a few words about her daughter,
40:18but I want to say a few words about her daughter,
40:19but I want to say a few words about her daughter,
40:20but I want to save my daughter,
40:21and I mean that before it's too late.
40:22Brave lady as well, Mum Pauline's on the Jeremy Carr Show.
40:24That way.
40:32Very nice to meet you, take a seat.
40:34Um, this is very interesting
40:35and obviously difficult for you.
40:37A lot of people come on and they tell their stories
40:39and they say, look, this happened to me,
40:41and I want to warn you, for you, it's not just the story,
40:44it's about the future.
40:46and she's such a lovely girl. She gives too much too soon to people. She's very
40:51trusting. She shouldn't be trusting. Kerry was in a violent relationship. He was
40:56horrible person. Absolutely horrible. What was his name? Michael Kamierczak.
41:01Michael Kamierczak. When did she meet him? A couple of years back. Tell me what you
41:06first thought. That was them together. When you first saw that guy, what did you
41:10think? Not a lot. Didn't like him. To me, he had an attitude. You know, he's sort of
41:16like a big beefy man. Thought he was like God's gift. She started to regress
41:23socially in terms of contact with anybody really. He didn't like her seeing
41:28his family. He used to send her voicemails to say that we was all evil. We all was
41:34like no good for her. The first time he really did attack her, well he launched
41:39her from the kitchen to the living room was on my deceased son's birthday.
41:44And he just had gone out from the kitchen to the van to get some stuff out
41:49the van, some food. And he just didn't want to do it. And he launched her from the
41:54kitchen and scratched her breast, put his fist through the kitchen door, clean
41:58through it, the girl in the kitchen door. So the police? Oh yeah, police. But didn't she get
42:04a hospital before that? After that, yeah. He battered her face to a pulp really.
42:11He was dragging her about the house with a hair. He was kicking her and
42:16punching her on the floor. Oh yeah. Why did she put up with it? She was terrified of him.
42:25The scary thing about this was one day you get a call from her. She's got a
42:31secret phone that she's hidden from this guy. She barricaded herself into a room.
42:36Barricaded herself in, phoned the police, phoned me. I gets down there and police
42:42is already there and arresting him. But she was just such a stir. I was terrified
42:47that when I turned up the worst would have happened to Kerry. Yeah. I didn't know
42:51what to expect when I went in the house even though it was Kerry that phoned me.
42:54She lucky to be alive? Oh god yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Mum battered black and blue
42:59by hulking bodybuilder boyfriend. What happened to Michael, whatever his name is?
43:03Well, it went to court. Listen to this. Just watch the audience. How long did he get?
43:08He didn't get any time inside at all. He got an order so he couldn't go near Kerry for the
43:15next 10 years and a fine of a thousand pound. And basically that was it.
43:22Your daughter's your size, right? This is the size of the guy that used to beat her up. Look at this.
43:29I hate him. I really respect her for being here. She said, I agree with my mum. I'm worried it
43:38will happen again. I'm that sort of person. Brave Lady Kerry's on the show. Give her a round of
43:41applause, that way.
43:53How are you swinging out? I'm okay. I am now.
43:57Had your game? Yeah.
43:58I don't know what to say to you, but when you look behind, what do you think?
44:02I hate him.
44:08Why did you do this today?
44:12Because I want to show other people that you can escape these people. You can get out of it. I
44:18might not have got the justice that I hoped for, but the fact that I've still been able to sort of
44:24tell people about this person and in the hope that he can't go on and do it again.
44:29You sort of alluded to this, that you're the sort of person that would be susceptible to that.
44:36Probably, yeah.
44:37Yeah.
44:38I'm probably going to answer this in the wrong way.
44:42I do a lot of stories and you find men and women have been in abusive relationships,
44:46suddenly seem to sort of be in another one. And you sort of think to yourself,
44:49is it a trait? Do you give out in a certain way? Can I tell you something? And I genuinely mean
44:54this. You're a giving, caring, sharing person. Don't change how you are. People like that are
44:59not like the rest of us. People like that don't deserve. That's what I genuinely think. I mean
45:05I think it's easy to go, oh, close all your... No, do you know what? He's nothing, man. Wait
45:11till this goes out. He's finished, right? But you, why would you change the way you are?
45:15I don't want to. I don't think I should.
45:18I think maybe I should... I sometimes say, oh, I should toughen up a bit.
45:22I should be less trusting.
45:23You should listen to your gut, because when your gut's... When you get that feeling that
45:27something's not right, it's generally true. Something's not right. Listen to that.
45:31Yeah.
45:32You tell my team a very candid description of the beatings. You said to be beaten by
45:36somebody that big, the pain was unbearable?
45:38Yeah. Yeah, it was... His strength was... It was like being hit by a truck, you know.
45:48One time, obviously, he pushed me so hard in the kitchen, I went into the glass door
45:52on the back door. It felt like I'd been hit by a car, do you know what I mean? Like,
45:57you felt like he was in a traffic accident, because he was just solid,
46:01pure muscle coming at you. I'm not a small girl, you know, and it's like, for him to
46:05launch me like that, I mean, my feet sometimes wouldn't touch the ground.
46:09And you stayed with him because you were terrified of him?
46:11Yeah.
46:11Did you ever think you'd get out?
46:14I think I did. I was quite strong in that. I was determined. I was like, right,
46:18I know I've got to get out, because if I don't...
46:21Do you worry now, walking around? Do you look over your shoulder?
46:23I still do, yeah, because I know he's out there.
46:26But he wouldn't come near you?
46:28He hasn't done up to now, has he?
46:29He hasn't done up to now.
46:30He can't, can he?
46:33I don't know. It's still always in the back of my mind.
46:35Is today almost part of the rehabilitation process,
46:39coming here and being able to talk about it?
46:40Yeah, definitely.
46:41Because I really respect you for that, because, like I said, I don't think you can say,
46:45oh, by the way, a man might be violent, a woman might be violent,
46:49a man might cheat, a woman might cheat. That's just the way of the world.
46:52But for you to sit here with your mum, that's a nail in Matt's coffin, isn't it?
46:58Yeah.
46:58And you're sat here in front of these people, that says a lot, doesn't it?
47:01Yeah.
47:02Really respect you. Off men forever?
47:06Well, you always think, you know, you'll find someone nice eventually,
47:09but I think it's a long way in the future.
47:11No, here's something that I can honestly tell you. Guess what?
47:14You won't find anybody.
47:16They'll find you when you're ready, but you won't know.
47:18APPLAUSE
47:21Don't look, don't look.
47:25I might point out, I'm really good at giving advice,
47:27and it's particularly relevant when it comes to my life.
47:29It's a real pleasure to meet you, and I mean that.
47:31I really, really respect you and the bravery to come here.
47:34And listen, I meant what I said, you'll be fine and he won't.
47:36Give him a round of applause that way. Thank you, my friends.
47:38APPLAUSE
47:42Brave, brave lady, I'm out of time.
