00:30L'HOMME QUI N'EST PAS UN HOMME
02:01Plus tard, Mr Lazy got up and went to make his breakfast.
02:04We say breakfast, although really it was tea time.
02:09He put the kettle on to make some tea.
02:12Kettles take two hours to boil.
02:14Sleepy Len.
02:15Then he toasted a slice of bread.
02:17Bread takes three hours to go brown.
02:19Sleepy Len.
02:21Toast never gets burnt there.
02:25While he was waiting for his kettle to boil and his bread to toast,
02:27Mr Lazy went into the garden of Yawn Cottage, which is where he lived.
02:31Sat down on a chair.
02:33And you can probably guess what happened next.
02:36That's right.
02:39Yawn.
02:41Yawn again.
02:44I went to sleep.
02:47Suddenly, he woke with a jump.
02:49Which is something that doesn't happen very often to Mr Lazy.
02:52And the reason he woke with a jump was because of the noise.
02:54Wake up!
02:55The noise.
02:56Wake up!
02:57There are two men standing in front of him.
02:59I'm Mr Busy, said one of the men.
03:01And I'm Mr Muscle, said the other.
03:03Come along now, said Mr Muscle busily.
03:05We can't have you sleeping all day, added Mr Busy,
03:07bustling Mr Lazy to his feet.
03:09Who are you?
03:10Who are you?
03:11We're bustling busy.
03:15Come along now.
03:16You haven't got all day.
03:17But no time for baths, said Mr Busy.
03:19Or ifs, added Mr Muscle,
03:21there's the wood to chop and the beds to make and the floors to clean
03:23and the coal to get and the windows to polish and the plates to wash
03:25and the furniture to dust and the grass to cut and the hedges to clip
03:27and the food to cook and the clothes to mend, added Mr Busy.
03:31Oh dear, groaned Mr Lazy in a daze.
03:35The wood to clean and the beds to get
03:37and the floors to cut and the coal to cook
03:40and the windows to make and the plates to mend
03:42and the furniture to chop and the grass to wash
03:45and the hedges to dust and the clothes to clip.
03:48He'd got it all completely wrong, he was in such a daze.
03:51Then Muscle and Busy sent Mr Lazy to work.
03:54Chopping and making and cleaning and getting and polishing and washing
03:57and dusting and cutting and clipping and cooking and mending.
03:59Not to mention all the fetching and carrying.
04:01Poor Mr Lazy.
04:06Now, they said, when he'd finished, it's time to walk.
04:09And off they set, on the longest walk Mr Lazy had ever been on.
04:13Mr Lazy is one of those people who never walks when he has a chance of sitting down
04:17and never sits down when he has a chance of lying down.
04:20But this day, he had no choice.
04:23They made him walk for miles and miles and miles
04:27until he felt that his legs must be worn right down to his body.
04:31Poor Mr Lazy.
04:44When they arrived back at Yawn Cottage, Mr Busy said,
04:47Right, now for a run.
04:49Oh no.
04:51When I blow this whistle, said Mr Muscle, Lucy Whistle,
04:54you've got to start running as fast as you can.
04:57Adam Busy, Mr Lazy, groaned a deep groan and closed his eyes.
05:02Mr Muscle put the whistle to his lips.
05:08Went the whistle.
05:10Mr Lazy, poor Mr Lazy, started to run, but his legs weren't getting him anywhere.
05:22He opened his eyes and looked down to see why.
05:25And the reason his legs weren't getting him anywhere was because he was sitting on a chair in the garden.
05:31And there was no sign of Mr Busy or Mr Muscle.
05:35It had all been a terrible dream.
05:38And the whistle was the whistling kettle boiling in the kitchen.
05:43Mr Lazy heaved a sigh of relief.
05:49And then he went into the kitchen and sat down to have his breakfast and to think about his dream.
05:55But you know what happened next, don't you?
06:09Wake up, Mr Lazy. Wake up, wake up, wake up.
06:18THE END
