00:02Today we are reviewing a movie from 2009 called Splice.
00:10Two scientists, Cliff Nicoli and Elsa Kuss, are experts in the field of genetic engineering

00:17The company conducts various experiments focusing on DNA coupling of different animals
00:21in order to produce new animal forms that would be used in medical purposes.
00:26After many unsuccessful attempts, Cliff and Elsa finally succeed in their mission.
00:30The duo watches their creations with respect and decides to name the grotesque creatures Fred and Ginger.
00:36The two organisms were supposed to be used for the production of medical proteins in livestock farming.
00:40Having seen incredible results and possible opportunities for their experiment,
00:44Cliff and Elsa predict the possibility of using the same technique as Fred, but on humans.
00:49Two scientists predict that in the event of a correct use,
00:52this technique could be a miraculous cure for numerous current incurable diseases,
00:56such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
00:59Their idea did not get the green light of their successors,
01:02John Chorot and William Barlow, who strictly prohibited young scientists from conducting experiments on humans,
