00:00He created the heavens without a pillar, which you see, and He placed firm mountains in the earth, so that it would not deviate from you, and He spread therein every kind of animal, and He sent down water from the sky, so that We brought forth therein every kind of noble pair.
00:31He created the heavens without any pillars, visible to you, and He placed mountains in the earth as pegs, lest it should turn topsy-turvy with you, and He dispersed all kinds of animals over the earth, and sent down water from the sky, causing all kinds of excellent plants to grow on it.
00:54This is the creation of Allah, so show me what those other than Him have created. Nay, the wrongdoers are in manifest error.
01:24We bestowed wisdom upon Luqman, and joining, give thanks to Allah.
01:50Whoso gives thanks to Allah, does so to his own good, and whoso disbelieves, let him know that Allah is all-sufficient, immensely praiseworthy.
02:03Luqman said to his son, O my son, do not associate partners with Allah.
02:33We enjoined upon man to be dutiful to his parents.
03:03His mother bore him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning lasted two years.
03:10We therefore enjoined upon him, give thanks to me and to your parents.
03:16To me is your ultimate return.
03:33But if they press you to associate others with me in my divinity, to associate those regarding whom you have no knowledge, that they are my associates, do not associate with them.
04:02And yet treat them well in this world, and follow the way of him who turns to me in devotion.
04:12Eventually it is to me that all of you shall return, and I shall then tell you all that you did.
04:32In the heavens or in the earth, Allah brings it. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Subtle.
05:02Son, establish prayer, enjoin all that is good, and forbid all that is evil, and endure with patience whatever afflictions may befall you.
05:27Surely these have been emphatically enjoined.
05:54Do not contemptuously turn your face away from people, nor tread haughtily upon earth. Allah does not love the arrogant and the vainglorious.
06:19Be moderate in your stride, and lower your voice. Verily, the most disgusting of all voices is the braying of the donkey.
06:49Have you not seen that Allah has subjected to your service all that is in the heavens and on the earth, and has abundantly bestowed upon you all His bounties, both visible and invisible?
07:14Yet some persons dispute regarding Allah without having any knowledge or guidance or any illuminating book.
07:45When they are told, follow what Allah has revealed, they say, we would rather follow that which we have found our forefathers following.
07:57Will they follow that even though Satan might invite them to the chastisement of the blazing fire?
08:06Whoever surrenders himself to Allah and lives righteously grasps the most firm handle.
08:32The ultimate decision of all matters rests with Allah.
08:36So let the unbelief of the unbeliever not grieve you.
08:59To us is their return, and then we shall inform them of all that they did.
09:05Surely, Allah knows well even the secrets that are hidden in the breasts of people.
09:12We allow them to enjoy themselves a while in the world,
09:27and then we shall drive them in utter helplessness to a harsh chastisement.
09:34If you were to ask them who created the heavens and the earth,
09:57they will certainly reply, Allah.
10:00Say, all praise and thanks be to Allah.
10:04Yet most of them do not know.
10:07All that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah.
10:22Verily, He is all-sufficient, immensely praiseworthy.
10:28If all the trees on earth become pens and the sea replenished by seven more seas
10:56were to supply them with ink, the words of Allah would not be exhausted.
11:02Verily, Allah is most mighty, most wise.
11:08To create all of you or to resurrect all of you is to Him like creating or resurrecting a single person.
11:32Verily, Allah is all-hearing, all-seeing.
11:37Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter into the day,
11:43and causes the day to enter into the night,
11:47and has subjected the sun and the moon?
11:50Each runs to an appointed term,
11:58and that Allah is aware of what you do.
12:05Do you not see that Allah makes the night phase into the day,
12:10and makes the day phase into the night,
12:13and has subjected the sun and the moon to His will,
12:17so that each of them is pursuing its course till an appointed time?
12:22Do you not know that Allah is well aware of all that you do?
12:27That is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they invoke besides Him is falsehood,
12:36and because Allah is the Great Curer.
12:42All this is because Allah, He alone is the Truth,
12:47and all that which they call upon beside Him is false.
12:51Surely, Allah, He alone is all-high, incomparably great.
12:58Do you not see that ships sail in the sea by Allah's grace,
13:22that He may show you some of His signs?
13:25Surely, there are signs in this for everyone who is steadfast, thankful.
13:56When waves engulf them in the sea like canopies,
14:01they call upon Allah, consecrating their faith solely to Him.
14:06But when He delivers them safely to the land,
14:10some of them become lukewarm.
14:12None denies our signs, except the perfidious, the ungrateful.
14:25The Day will come when no father will be able to repay his son,
14:32nor will a son be able to repay his father at all.
14:38Surely, Allah's promise is true, so let not the worldly life deceive you,
14:46and let not the deceitful deceive you concerning Allah.
14:55O people, fear the wrath of your Lord,
14:58and dread the Day when no father will stand for his child,
15:02nor any child stand for his father.
15:05Surely, Allah's promise is true,
15:08so let the life of this world not beguile you,
15:12nor let the deluder delude you about Allah.
15:25Surely, Allah alone has the knowledge of the hour.
15:52It is He who sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs,
15:58although no person knows what he will earn tomorrow,
16:02nor does he know in which land he will die.
16:06Indeed, Allah is all-knowing, all-aware.
16:13In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
16:25Alif Lam Mim
16:34Alif Lam Mim
16:38Alif Lam Mim
16:46This Book, beyond all doubt, was revealed by the Lord of the Universe.
16:52Or do they say, He has fabricated it? Nay, it is the truth from your Lord,
17:19so that you may warn a people to whom no warner came before you.
17:24Perhaps they will be guided to the right way.
17:49It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth,
17:58and all that is between the two in six days,
18:02and then He established Himself on the throne.
18:05You have no guardian or intercessor other than He.
18:10Will you then not take heed?
18:13He governs from the heaven to the earth,
18:34and then the record of this governance goes up to Him in a day,
18:39whose measure is a thousand years in your reckoning.
18:52He knows all that is beyond,
18:54as well as all that is within a creature's sense perception.
18:59He is the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate.
19:03He who created everything, and began the creation of man from clay.
19:13He who excelled in the creation of all that He created.
19:19He originated the creation of man from clay.
19:23from clay, then made his progeny from the extract of a mean fluid, then sewed him and
19:43and breathed into him of his spirit, and bestowed upon you ears, and eyes, and hearts, and yet
20:08little fangs do you give."
20:28They say, Shall we be created afresh after we have become lost in the earth?
20:34Nay, the fact is that they deny that they will meet their Lord.
20:53Tell them, The angel of death who has been charged with your souls shall gather you,
20:59and then you shall be brought back to your Lord.
21:23Would that you could see the guilty standing before their Lord, with their heads downcast,
21:29saying to Him, Our Lord, we have now seen and heard, so send us back to the world,
21:36that we might act righteously.
21:38For now we have come to have firm faith.
22:00They will be told, If we had so willed, we could have bestowed guidance on every person.
22:07But the word from me that I will fill hell with men and jinn altogether has been fulfilled.
22:34So taste the chastisement on account of your forgetting the encounter of this day.
22:39We too have forgotten you.
22:42Taste the eternal chastisement as a requital for your misdeeds.
23:04None believes in our signs except those who, when they are given good counsel through our verses,
23:12fall down prostrate and celebrate the praise of their Lord, and do not wax proud.
23:19Their sides forsake their beds, and they call upon their Lord in fear and hope,
23:41and expend in charity out of the sustenance We have granted them.
23:47But no soul knows what is hidden from them of the pleasure of their eyes as a recompense for what they used to do.
24:04No one knows what delights of the eyes are kept hidden for them as a reward for their deeds.
24:11Is one who is a believer like one who is a transgressor, not equal?
24:21Would a true believer be like him who was an evildoer?
24:26Surely they are not equal.
24:29As for those who believe and act righteously, there shall be gardens to dwell in,
24:51a hospitality to reward them for their deeds.
24:55And as for those who are transgressors, their abode is the Fire.
25:01Whenever they desire to leave it, they are returned to it, and it is said to them,
25:10Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny.
25:25And We shall surely make them taste the most painful punishment.
25:31And We shall surely make them taste the most painful punishment.
