00:00I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
00:07In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
00:13In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
00:20And whoever of you is obedient to Allah and His Messenger and does good deeds, Allah will double her reward.
00:41But whoever of you is obedient to Allah and His Messenger and does good deeds, Allah will double her reward.
00:50We have prepared for her a generous provision.
00:55O women, sit down like any of the women.
01:06If you are righteous, then do not be deceived by what is said,
01:13lest the one who is in his heart should desire what he sees, and speak what is right.
01:24Wives of the Prophet, you are not like other women.
01:28If you fear Allah, do not be too complacent in your speech,
01:32lest those with diseased hearts should covet you, but speak in a straightforward manner.
01:39And stay in your homes, and do not show yourselves as you did in the first time of ignorance.
01:48And observe prayer, and give zakah, and obey Allah and His Messenger.
01:59Allah only wishes to remove the filth from you, and to purify you.
02:12And stay in your homes, and do not show yourselves as you did in the first time of ignorance.
02:20Establish prayer, give zakah, and obey Allah and His Messenger.
02:26Allah only wishes to remove uncleanness from you, O members of the Prophet's household,
02:33and to purify you completely.
02:37Remember the signs of Allah, and the words of wisdom, which are rehearsed in your homes.
02:43Verily, Allah is All-Subtle, All-Aware.
02:47Remember the signs of Allah, and the words of wisdom, which are rehearsed in your homes.
02:53Verily, Allah is All-Subtle, All-Aware.
02:57Remember the signs of Allah, and the words of wisdom, which are rehearsed in your homes.
03:01Verily, Allah is All-Subtle, All-Aware.
03:27Allah is All-Subtle, All-Aware.
03:31Verily, Allah is All-Subtle, All-Aware.
03:35Allah is All-Subtle, All-Aware.
04:05Surely, the men who submit to Allah,
04:09and the women who submit to Allah,
04:12the men who have faith, and the women who have faith,
04:16the men who are obedient, and the women who are obedient,
04:20the men who are truthful, and the women who are truthful,
04:24the men who are steadfast, and the women who are steadfast,
04:29the men who humble themselves to Allah,
04:32and the women who humble themselves to Allah,
04:35the men who give alms, and the women who give alms,
04:39the men who fast, and the women who fast,
04:43the men who guard their chastity, and the women who guard their chastity,
04:48the men who remember Allah much, and the women who remember Allah much,
04:54for them has Allah prepared forgiveness, and a mighty reward.
05:01And it is not for a believer or a believer,
05:06when Allah and His Messenger say a matter,
05:10that they should have the choice of their matter.
05:15And whosoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger,
05:20he has gone astray, and has no clear knowledge.
05:26It does not behove a believer, male or female,
05:32that when Allah and His Messenger have decided an affair,
05:36they should exercise their choice.
05:39And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger,
05:43has strayed to manifest error.
05:56And fear Allah, and conceal within yourself what Allah reveals,
06:02and fear the people.
06:05And Allah is more worthy that you should fear Him.
06:10And when Zayd was determined from her,
06:14and We made you marry her,
06:17that it would not be upon the believers,
06:21that it would not be upon the believers,
06:25a burden upon the spouses of their wives,
06:32when they were firm among themselves and pure.
06:36And the commandment of Allah was fulfilled.
06:43O Prophet, call to mind when you said to him,
06:47whom Allah had favoured, and you had favoured.
06:51Cleave to your wife, and fear Allah.
06:54And you concealed within yourself, for fear of people,
06:58what Allah was to reveal,
07:00although Allah has greater right that you fear Him.
07:05So when Zayd had accomplished what he would of her,
07:09We gave her in marriage to you,
07:11so that there should not be any constraint for the believers,
07:15regarding the wives of their adopted sons,
07:18after they had accomplished whatever they would of them.
07:22And Allah's command was bound to be accomplished.
07:46There could be no hindrance to the Prophet,
07:49regarding what Allah ordained for him.
07:52Such has been Allah's way with the Prophets who went before.
07:57Allah's command is a decree firmly determined.
08:16This is Allah's way,
08:18regarding those who deliver the messages of Allah,
08:22and who fear Him,
08:24and fear no one else than Allah.
08:27Allah is sufficient as a reckoner.
08:45Muhammad is not the father of any of your men,
08:48but he is the messenger of Allah,
08:51and the seal of the Prophets.
08:54Allah has full knowledge of everything.
09:15Believers, remember Allah much,
09:29and glorify Him morning and evening.
09:45It is He who lavishes His blessings on you,
09:49and His angels invoke blessings on you,
09:52that He may lead you out of darkness into light.
09:56He is most compassionate to the believers.
10:15On the day they meet Him,
10:17they will be greeted with peace.
10:20He has prepared for them a generous reward.
10:46O Prophet, we have sent you forth as a witness,
10:50a bearer of good tidings, and a warner,
11:02as one who calls people to Allah by His leave,
11:06and as a bright shining lamp.
11:16Announce to the believers the good tidings
11:19that Allah has kept bounteous blessings in store for them.
11:40Do not yield to the unbelievers.
11:43Do not yield to the unbelievers and the hypocrites,
11:47and disregard the hurt that comes from them,
11:50and put your trust in Allah.
11:53Allah suffices as the guardian to entrust one's affairs to.
12:14Allah suffices as the guardian to entrust one's affairs to.
12:36Believers, when you marry believing women
12:39and then divorce them before you have touched them,
12:42you may not require them to observe a waiting period
12:46that you might reckon against them.
12:48So make provision for them
12:50and release them in an honorable manner.
13:42If the Prophet willed, he could have married her off exclusively to you, instead of the believers.
13:56We have known what We have ordained for them in their spouses
14:03and what their oaths possess, so that you may not be ashamed of it.
14:12And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
14:19O Prophet! We have made lawful for you your wives, whose bridal dues you have paid,
14:25and the slave girls you possess from among the prisoners of war granted to you by Allah,
14:31and the daughters of your paternal uncles and paternal aunts,
14:36and the daughters of your maternal uncles and maternal aunts,
14:41who have migrated with you, and a believing woman who gives herself to the Prophet,
14:47and whom he wants to take in marriage.
14:50O Prophet! This privilege is yours alone to the exclusion of other believers.
14:56We know well what restrictions we have imposed upon them,
15:01as regards their wives and those whom their right hands possess,
15:06and have exempted you from those restrictions that there may be no constraint upon you.
15:13Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
15:30And whosoever you leave alone, there shall be no blame upon you.
15:35That is better, that their eyes may be contented, and that he may not grieve,
15:42and that he may be strengthened by that which you have given them, all of them.
15:48And Allah knows what is in your hearts, and Allah is Ever Knowing and Forbearing.
16:00Of them you may put off any of them you wish, and you may take any of them whom you wish,
16:07and you may call back any of those whom you had temporarily set aside,
16:12there will be no blame on you on this account.
16:16It is likelier that they will thus be comforted, and will not grieve,
16:21and every one of them will be well pleased with what you give them.
16:26Allah knows what is in your hearts, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Forbearing.
16:57Thereafter, women will not be lawful for you,
17:01and it will not be lawful for you to take other wives in place of them,
17:06even though their beauty might please you,
17:09unless they be those whom your right hand owns.
17:13Allah is Watchful over everything.
17:26Those of you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet,
17:32unless permission is granted to you for food,
17:38for food other than that which you have been given.
17:43But when you are called upon, then enter,
17:47and when you are fed, then disperse,
17:54and you will not be held accountable for a word.
17:59Verily, that is what the Prophet used to say,
18:04and he was ashamed of you.
18:07But Allah is not ashamed of the truth.
18:11And when you ask them for provision,
18:15ask them from behind a veil.
18:22That is purer for your hearts and their hearts.
18:28And it is not for you to harm the Messenger of Allah,
18:34nor to marry his wives after him, ever.
18:46Verily, that is what the Prophet used to say.
19:17But he does not express it out of shyness.
19:20But Allah is not ashamed of speaking out the truth.
19:24And if you were to ask the wives of the Prophet for something,
19:28ask from behind a curtain.
19:31That is more apt for the cleanness of your hearts and theirs.
19:35It is not lawful for you to cause hurt to Allah's Messenger,
19:39nor to ever marry his wives after him.
19:42Surely, that would be an enormous sin in Allah's sight.
20:00It does not matter whether you disclose something or conceal it,
20:05for Allah certainly knows everything.
20:12In their fathers, and their sons, and their brothers,
20:25and their brothers, and the sons of their brothers,
20:34and the sons of their sisters, and their wives,
20:44and their wives, and what their right hands possess.
20:52And fear Allah.
20:57Verily, Allah is Witness over all things.
21:06It will not be blameworthy for the wives of the Prophet
21:10if their fathers, their sons, their brothers,
21:14their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons,
21:17and the women with whom they have social relations,
21:20and the persons whom their right hands possess,
21:22enter their houses.
21:24O women, shun disobeying Allah.
21:27Allah is Watchful over everything.
21:53Allah and His angels bless the Prophet.
21:56Believers invoke blessings and peace on him.
22:18Verily, those who cause annoyance to Allah
22:21and His Messenger,
22:23Allah has cursed them in this world and in the Hereafter,
22:28and has prepared for them a humiliating chastisement.
22:48Those who cause hurt to believing men
22:51and to believing women
22:53have invited upon themselves a calumny and a manifest sin.
23:22And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
23:28O Prophet,
23:30enjoin your wives and your daughters and the believing women
23:34to draw apart of their outer coverings around them.
23:38It is likelier that they will be recognized and not molested.
23:43Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
23:57If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts there is a sickness,
24:01and the scandal mongers in Medina,
24:04do not desist from their vile acts,
24:07we shall urge you to take action against them.
24:10And those who do not believe,
24:12and those who do not believe,
24:14and those who do not believe,
24:16and those who do not believe,
24:18and those who do not believe,
24:20and those who do not believe,
24:22and those who do not believe,
24:24and those who do not believe,
24:25if you do not take action against them,
24:28they will hardly be able to stay in the city with you.
24:34They shall be cursed from all around,
24:46and they shall be ruthlessly killed wherever they are seized.
24:51This has been Allah's way with those who have gone before, and you shall find no change in Allah's way.
25:14People ask you concerning the hour of resurrection. Say, Allah alone has knowledge of it. What do you know?
25:42Perhaps the hour is nigh. Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a blazing fire.
26:00They are in, they shall abide forever. They shall find none to protect or help them.
26:19On that day, when their faces shall be turned around in the fire, they will say, Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger.
26:49They will say, Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones and they turned us away from the right way.
27:08Our Lord, mete out to them a double chastisement and lay upon them a mighty curse.
27:27Believers, do not be like those who distressed Moses and then Allah declared him quit of the world.
27:49Believers, do not be like those who distressed Moses and then Allah declared him quit of the ill they spoke about him and he had a high standing with Allah.
28:01Believers, fear Allah and speak the truth.
28:18Allah will set your deeds right for you and will forgive you your sins.
28:40Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has achieved a great triumph.
29:10We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to carry it and were afraid of doing so, but man carried it. Surely, he is wrongdoing, ignorant.
29:28Allah will punish the hypocrites, the polytheists, and the polytheists, and Allah will forgive the believers, and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
29:54The consequence of man's carrying the trust is that Allah may chastise hypocritical men and hypocritical women and accept the repentance of believing men and believing women. He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
30:13In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
30:26All praise be to Allah, to whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all praise be to Him in the world to come.
30:52He is Most Wise, All-Aware.
31:15He knows what penetrates into the earth and what goes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends to it. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving.
31:31Those who disbelieve say, The Hour will not come to us. Say, Yes, by my Lord, the Knower of the unseen will come to you.
31:42Those who disbelieve say, The Hour will not come to us. Say, Yes, by my Lord, the Knower of the unseen will come to you.
32:05The unbelievers say, How come the Hour is not coming upon us? Say to them, Yes, indeed, by my Lord, by Him who fully knows the realm beyond the cairn of perception, that the Hour shall inevitably come upon you.
32:23Nothing escapes Him, not even the smallest particle in the heavens or the earth, nor is anything smaller or bigger than that, but is in a manifest Book.
32:35The Hour shall come that He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. There shall be forgiveness and a generous provision.
33:03As for those who worked against our signs, in order to frustrate them, they shall suffer a painful chastisement.
33:28Those who have knowledge see that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth and directs to the way of the Most Mighty.
33:58The unbelievers say, Shall we direct you to the man who tells you that when you have been utterly broken to pieces,
34:28you will be raised to life again?
34:31Has he forged a lie against Allah, or is he afflicted with madness? Nay, but those who do not believe in the Hereafter
34:58are doomed to be chastised and are far gone in error.
35:28Do they not see how the heavens and the earth encompass them from the front and the rear? We could, if we so wished, cause the earth to swallow them or let fragments of the sky fall upon them.
35:49Verily, there is a sign in this for every servant of Allah who penitently turns to Him.
35:56We bestowed our favour upon David. We commanded, O mountains, sing Allah's praises with him. And so did we command the birds.
36:24We softened the iron for him, saying,
36:29Do good deeds, and measure in the balance, and do good. Verily, I see what you do.
36:42Fashion coats of mail, and measure their lengths with care, and act righteously. I am watching over whatever you do.
36:52And to Suleiman the wind, its blowing is a month, and its blowing is a month.
37:00And the eye of the cat has sent down to him. And of the jinn are those who work before him by the permission of their Lord.
37:11And whoever of them deviates from Our command, We shall cast him out of the torment of the blazing Fire.
37:20And we subdued the wind to Suleiman. Its morning course was a month's journey, and its evening course was a month's journey.
37:30We gave him a spring flowing with molten brass, and we subdued for him jinn, who by his Lord's permission worked before him.
37:41Such of them as swerved from Our commandment, We let them taste the chastisement of the blazing Fire.
37:49They made for him whatever he would desire, such as coats of mail, and measure their lengths with care, and act righteously.
38:04They made for the people of Zahud thanksgiving, and few of My servants are grateful.
38:16They made for him whatever he would desire, stately buildings, images, basins like water troughs, and huge built-in cauldrons.
38:28Work, O house of David, in thankfulness to your Lord. Few of My servants are truly thankful.
38:36And when We caused death to befall him, nothing led them to his death, but a beast of the earth, eating of his flesh.
38:52And when he fell, the jinn became clear that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in the humiliating punishment.
39:06When We executed Our decree of death on Solomon, nothing indicated to the jinn that he was dead, except a worm eating away his staff.
39:18So when Solomon fell down, the jinn realized that had they known what lies in the realm beyond perception, they would not have continued to be in this humiliating chastisement.
39:31For Sheba, there was also a sign in the city of Sheba.
39:38For Sheba, there was also a sign in their dwelling place, the two gardens to the right and to the left.
40:06Eat of your Lord's provision, and render thanks to Him. Most pleasant is your land, and most forgiving is your Lord.
40:36But they turned away, and so We let loose upon them a devastating flood that swept away the dams and replaced their gardens by two others bearing bitter fruits, tamarisks, and a few latte trees.
41:03Thus did We retribute them for their ingratitude, and none do We retribute in this manner except the utterly ungrateful.
41:27We placed other prominent towns between them, the towns that We had blessed, and had said,
41:57and well-measured stages between them. Move back and forth between them night and day in perfect security.
42:27But they said, Lord, make the stages of our journeys longer. They wronged their own selves, so We reduced them to bygone tales, and utterly tore them to pieces.
42:51Verily, there are signs in this for everyone who is steadfast and thankful.
42:57Iblis found his estimate of them to be true, and they followed him, except a party of the believers.
43:19And he had no authority over them, except that We might know who believes in the Hereafter, and who among them is in doubt. And your Lord is Guardian over all things.
43:44Iblis had no authority over them, and whatever happened was in order that We might know him who believes in the Hereafter, as distinct from him who is in doubt about it. Your Lord is Watchful over everything.
44:14And they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth, and they have no partner in the heavens or on the earth,
44:44nor do they have any other deities besides Allah
44:47They own not even the smallest particle,
44:50neither in the heavens nor on the earth,
44:54nor do they have any share in the ownership of either of them
44:58nor is any of them ever a helper of Allah
45:01No intercession can avail with Allah except for Him,
45:08and no intercession can avail with Allah except for Him.
45:16And no intercession can avail with Allah except for Him.
45:26No intercession can avail with Allah except for Him,
45:31whom Allah permits to intercede.
45:34When their hearts are relieved of fright,
45:37they will ask the intercessors,
45:40What did your Lord say?
45:42They will reply,
45:44He said, What is right?
45:46And He is the High, the Great.
46:11Ask them, O Prophet,
46:13Who provides you sustenance from the heavens and the earth?
46:17Say, Allah.
46:19Now, inevitably, only one of us is rightly guided,
46:23either we or you,
46:25and the other is in manifest error.
46:41Tell them,
46:42You will not be called to account about the guilt we committed,
46:46nor will we be called to account for what you did.
47:03Say, Our Lord will bring us together,
47:07and then He will rightly judge between us.
47:10He is the Great Judge, the All-Knowing.
47:29Say, Show me those whom you have attached to Him as His associates in divinity.
47:37Nay, Allah alone is Most Mighty, Most Wise.
48:07O Prophet, we have not sent you forth but as a herald of good news and a warner for all mankind.
48:16But most people do not know.
48:30They ask a few, when will this promise of resurrection be fulfilled if what you say is true?
48:52Say, your day is appointed.
48:55You can neither hold back its coming by an hour nor hasten it by an hour.
49:38The unbelievers say, we shall never believe in this Quran, nor in any scripture before it.
49:46If you could only see the wrongdoers arrayed before their Lord, each bandying charges against the other.
49:54Those who were suppressed will say to those who waxed arrogant,
49:59Had it not been for you, we would have been believers.
50:26The arrogant ones will retort to those who were suppressed,
50:30What? Did we bar you from the guidance after it came to you?
50:35Not at all, rather you yourselves were evildoers.
51:23Those who were suppressed will say to those who waxed arrogant,
51:29By no means it was your scheming, night and day, when you would join us to disbelieve in Allah and set up others as equals to Him.
51:40When they are confronted with the chastisement, they will be remorseful in their hearts.
51:47We shall put fetters around the necks of the unbelievers.
51:51Can people be requited except for their deeds?
