00:00Hello, and welcome to your latest update from the Met Office.
00:05The rest of Sunday will be dry for many with some bright or sunny spells, however the far
00:09north-west will be cloudy with rain and some strong winds.
00:13It's the far north-west of Scotland that sees the heaviest rain on Sunday afternoon along
00:17with some fairly brisk winds.
00:19Elsewhere, aside from a few showers in the east of England, it's a generally dry afternoon
00:24and whilst there is a good deal of cloud, there will be some sunny breaks with the best
00:29of these over parts of Wales and the west of England.
00:32It's still mild for mid-November with maximum temperatures around 13 or 14 Celsius.
00:39Sunday evening starts on a wet note in the north-west, with rain affecting Scotland.
00:44This rain will move south-eastwards overnight, eventually being followed by drier, clearer
00:48conditions later.
00:50Ahead of this rain there will be a lot of dry weather, although some drizzle may return
00:54to Wales.
00:55Where skies do stay clear for any length of time, temperatures will fall to low single
00:59figures and there will be some areas of dense fog forming by morning.
01:04Under any cloud though, it will remain milder, with temperatures holding at around 9 degrees
01:10under that cloud and patchy rain.
01:13On Monday morning, a band of increasingly light and patchy rain will move south-east
01:17into Wales and the north of England.
01:20Elsewhere across England, after a grey start with some dense morning fog, there will eventually
01:25be some bright spells in the afternoon, with only the far east and south-east at risk
01:29of seeing any showers.
01:31It's the far north and north-west that will see the best of Monday sunshine, although
01:35turning windy for western Scotland late in the day.
01:39Temperatures will be a little down on Sundays, with highs of around 12 or 13 Celsius.
01:45So looking ahead into the middle of next week, unsettled weather continues across the far
01:50north with spells of rain, followed by blustery showers and strong winds.
01:54Better elsewhere, although often quite cloudy, with the risk of some overnight mist and fog.
02:00That's all from me for now.
