00:00Hello. As we go through the rest of this Saturday, whilst it will be dry and at times bright
00:04for many, there will be some showers around. We're also going to have some showery rain
00:09pushing up from the south later on in the day, perhaps turning heavy and thundery overnight
00:14into Sunday. More showery rain will then arrive from the south on Monday as well.
00:20Taking a look at the here and now and through Saturday afternoon, it will be quite a cloudy
00:23picture across central and eastern parts of England, brighter further north and west,
00:28though some showers across parts of Scotland, north-west England and Wales. Temperatures
00:32likely to be a little bit higher than on Friday, getting into the high teens or low twenties,
00:37so feeling warm in any sunshine. As we go through Saturday evening, heavy showery rain
00:42will push up from the south, perhaps turning thundery at times, especially in the south-east.
00:47Further north, some dry, clear spells, but temperatures generally staying in double figures,
00:52a little bit colder across northern parts of Scotland.
00:55As we look towards Sunday, it is going to be cloudy at times and there will be outbreaks
00:59of rain pushing their way northwards across parts of England and Wales, some more persistent
01:03rain across the far north-west and some of the showers in parts of southern England could
01:07turn heavy and perhaps thundery later on. Temperatures similar to Saturday, so high
01:12teens or low twenties for most. As we look towards the rest of the week and
01:16Monday, we'll get off to a wet start across southern parts and then things should turn
01:20a little bit drier for a time, but further unsettled weather is set to come. Temperatures
01:24will be a little bit lower than they have been recently as well.
