00:00This is the number one law of power the socialist influencers desperately need and that you
00:05also better learn.
00:07Let's see.
00:08Socialist influencers are bound to look sneaky and hypocrites.
00:13And the better they are, the more successful they become, the more hypocritical they look.
00:18Call it the successful socialist curse.
00:21Why?
00:22It's because they are all ignorant or they all refuse to accept their own darker side.
00:29Let's see an example here.
01:00I did.
01:01Yeah.
01:02That was so God.
01:03Anyway.
01:04But you but you see how this juxtaposition would confuse a lot of people and be like,
01:07this guy seems like a little bit hypocritical.
01:09What's holding you back?
01:10Well, Tucker, you know, you know, what's holding me back?
01:14If you if I knew how to do that, I would have no issue doing that.
01:18But the tax just totally.
01:21The example here was a little bit extreme.
01:23But what happened with this lady happens with all socialist influencers.
01:28What was the failure there?
01:29The failure is in understanding and accepting the human nature is inherently selfish.
01:38It's not even only about human nature.
01:40It's about life in itself to live, to propagate and to expand life.
01:47Inherently must look after itself first and foremost.
01:51This is true for all living creature.
01:54And it's true for humans as well.
01:56The second step, the socialist influencers fail to accept is that their law includes
02:01them.
02:03The Latins used to say Homo Sum Humani Nil A Mea Lienum Puto.
02:09The reason I'm saying that is because I sound smart and you think that I'm worth listening
02:13to.
02:14And the other reason is because it perfectly encapsulate this concept and this great mindset
02:19that you can internalize.
02:21Perfectly translated that means something like I am a human and nothing about humans
02:26can be alien to me, alien in the sense that anything that is human is also part of me.
02:34It's not estranged from me.
02:36And this is very helpful because it means that once you start understanding people and
02:42human psychology better and better, you also learn about yourself better and better.
02:47And the opposite is also true.
02:49The more you learn about yourself, the more you learn about people.
02:53Of course, this is not to say we're all the same.
02:55We're not.
02:56That's been proven over and over by psychology and all types of research.
03:01But some building blocks of human nature do are in common.
03:06And even the ones that are not in common, often they differ, not because you either
03:11have it or don't have it, but because they are on a spectrum.
03:15And selfishness is one of those traits that goes on a spectrum.
03:19Yes, there are people who are a lot more selfish and there are people who are a lot more selfless.
03:25However, you will hardly find anybody who cares zero about others and what others think.
03:34And you will rarely if ever find somebody who does not care at all about themselves.
03:40And in general, humans tend to cluster around a healthy level of selfishness.
03:46That selfishness includes the drive of accumulating resources and wanting more and more for oneself.
03:53Failing to understand and to admit that sets the socialists up for failure.
04:00So what happens is that when the socialists start, it's always easy and it does not look
04:06incongruent to say that we all should share because it's good for the world, because it's
04:12good for us and because we don't need them much.
04:15But it's easy to say that we should all share more and that we would share if we had more
04:21when we don't have anything.
04:24It's easy to share when all you've got is a sweet, good nothing.
04:28But they start looking hypocritical as soon as they start making money.
04:33And by the way, this is also true for spiritual gurus.
04:36For example, Osho or Jay Shetty.
04:38I personally wasn't surprised at all about this scandal about Jay Shetty.
04:43Did you really believe anything else about this monk?
04:47If you did, please subscribe here because you need to learn better.
04:50And we teach about that stuff and we teach how to read people.
04:54Now back to the socialists.
04:56So what happens is that as soon as they start making money, it becomes clear that they are
05:01also part of their human drive to want to accumulate more.
05:05So what happens is that they want to keep their money, use it and enjoy it.
05:09Find their own restaurants, luxury, big houses, luxury cars, dating around.
05:16And of course, they also want to have more of their money.
05:20So suddenly it becomes clear that all that talk about socialism and sharing maybe was
05:26a little bit of virtue signaling.
05:28So what is the solution, which is also good for you to learn?
05:32The solution is simple, own the dark side, that selfishness and lead with it.
05:39In the case of socialists, it could look something like this.
05:42We are humans and as humans, we are inherently selfish.
05:47That includes me.
05:49This is why we need the government to force people to share more.
05:55And we all need it.
05:57Even as good people, I am not any better than that.
06:01The moment that I will make more money, I can guarantee you that I will want to keep
06:07that as much as possible.
06:10But that is not good for society, for the world and not even for me.
06:15That's why we need a government to force us to share more.
06:20Think about what this does for the aspiring socialists.
06:24Not only he covers his ass, but it's also anti-fragile because the moment he starts
06:30making money, he can easily say, look, this confirms what I said.
06:35This confirms that we need a government to force me and us to share more.
06:41Whatever you think about the socialist philosophy, whether you agree with that or not, this is
06:45not the point.
06:46I personally don't even agree with too much sharing.
06:50However, if we focus on effectiveness, which is what we like to do on this channel, this
06:55is the only way that the socialist message can spread without undermining itself.
07:02And it's also the only way that socialism could actually work because people don't naturally
07:08share unless forced to.
07:10Even if you look at the example of all these billionaires who do the pledge of sharing,
07:15think about it.
07:16When do they share?
07:17After they die.
07:18How will Machiavelli think of that?
07:20Machiavelli will think that it's a nice strategy to maximize your returns.
07:24Keep the money when it matters, as long as you're alive, and then say that you will share
07:29it after you die so that you also gain a great reputation while still alive.
07:35It's very convenient in a way, isn't it?
07:37And the Machiavellian perspective is foundational.
07:40You absolutely need it in life, however, you don't want to overdo it.
07:45Personally, I think it's still very admirable that many billionaires still decide to give
07:50their money to charitable causes after they die.
07:53So you know, good on them.
07:54Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, I admire and respect them.
07:58Back to us.
07:59How can you use this principle for self-development?
08:01Simple.
08:02Learn about your dark side, every aspect of it, and accept it as part of yourself and
08:07human nature.
08:09You will grow to become a more integrated man, as it used to be called, a more empowered
08:14man.
08:15And as usual, there is an optimal balance.
08:18Accepting doesn't mean you wallow in it.
08:21There is a spectrum, some elements of dark side you absolutely needed to do well in life,
08:27to succeed, and even to give back.
08:30However, it's certainly possible to overdo it.
08:33But simply just by starting to understand human dark side and accepting it within you,
08:38you grow to become a more effective and empowered man.
08:41If this was helpful for you in any way, this is only the tip of the iceberg of all the
08:46wisdom that we teach at The Power Moves and even more in Power University.
