00:00What's up guys today we're going to be comparing the s20 ultra versus the s21 ultra
00:04Um, this is a pretty good comparison because if you're looking for an older flagship
00:09This one is a lot cheaper the s20 you can find it for around 289
00:14The s21 ultra is still training for around 450
00:18And again, it depends on where you get it. I like to shop on amazon ebay and again the country you're in varies as well, too

00:25So let's go ahead and get started because I there are some things that I like about the s20 ultra a little bit more here
00:31so let's go ahead and talk about the displays on these two phones because that is kind of a
00:37essential difference here are the
00:39Displays here. So the big difference here with the displays
00:43Is that the s20 ultra has a 6.9 inch display. It's dynamic amoled 120 hertz 1400 nits peak brightness
00:51It's a 1440p panel 511 for the ppi
00:54The only thing about this panel is that it can only do 120 hertz at 1080p
01:00The s21 ultra can do the 120 hertz at 1440p
01:04So they pretty much have the same display spec wise, but this is a slightly smaller display
01:09It's a the s21 ultra is a 6.8 inch so you can see just barely
01:14Um, but yeah, it's still dynamic amoled. It gets slightly brighter at 1500 nits
01:20And then, you know, basically the same resolution and ppi
01:24Um, but yeah, so you can see the same pretty much screen design
01:27Which these phones are so much more comfortable to hold than you know, the boxier note. I've always appreciated
01:34Uh the design language on the s series kind of sad samsung got rid of it
01:39Um, but yeah, I absolutely love it. It just makes a big phone like like these phones
01:44It just makes them easier to hold for people who you know have smaller hands or whatever
01:48Um, but these are beautiful displays nonetheless, but yes, the s21 ultra would technically have the better display
01:55It's slightly brighter. And like I said, you get to enjoy the full resolution and 120 hertz
02:01All right. So let's talk about the software
02:03So the s21 the s20 ultra its last major os update was android 13 when you're at 5.1
02:10It's currently getting security patches. The s21 ultra I believe has two more major os updates. It's getting android
02:1714 and 15
02:19Um, so that's also something if you're really into, you know
02:22The latest one ui features and stuff like that and then it'll get security patches. So it does have a longer lifespan
02:28All right. So let's talk about the specs a little bit more here
02:31So the s21 ultra has the snapdragon triple a processor 128 gigs of internal storage and then you have 12 gigs of ram
02:38snapdragon 865 chip
02:41128 and 12 gigs of ram
02:44basically, I prefer the
02:46Uh snapdragon triple-a processor, uh here I mean not the triple-a but the
02:52865 chip
02:54the triple-a processor gets way hotter than I would like it to get and
02:59you'll actually be surprised that the s20 ultra plays games better than the uh,
03:06The s21 for sure. It actually just gets straight up just better frame rates. Um
03:12So, yeah, but as far as the speed goes they're both very fast phones they pretty much feel the same
03:18It doesn't matter what you're doing web browsing
03:20Uh, whatever. It's it's gonna feel very snappy very smooth very fast
03:26On these two phones now when we get into a game like pub g we'll go ahead and launch that
03:31you'll start to see
03:33The s20 ultra is just better. It can play it at 90 frames
03:36And if i'm playing for an hour on here versus an hour on here
03:41um
03:42it's just way hotter on the s21 not only that but if I just
03:46Like i'm playing a game for like an hour then I jump into the camera when I film something
03:50Um, the s21 ultra will literally just close the camera app because it does get it can get that hot if you're like really playing

04:06I got so as you can see with pub g here if I go to graphics and this is pretty much across
04:11Call of duty fortnight. You see I can play at 90 frames and it just looks super smooth guys
04:17Very instant. So if you're like a competitive pub g player, I mean the s20
04:22Is the way to go? It's just very awesome for gaming. It doesn't get as hot the s20
04:28One as you can see, it's not able to do 90 frames option
04:32Um, but still it's still a really great gaming device. Like I said, it just can get a little hot compared to the 865 chip
04:40But um, yeah, I absolutely love gaming on both. These phones are super super nice
04:49Now as far as the software features go
04:52Um, they pretty much have all the same things when it comes to the software
04:57Pretty much samsung desktop support reverse wireless charging. They'll be at most secure folders
05:02Uh, basically everything that's on here is on here. Uh, the s21 ultra does have pin support though
05:08Which which is pretty cool so you can actually use a stylus with this phone, which is pretty cool
05:14Um, all right. So let's go ahead and talk about the biometrics a little bit here again, basically the same nothing is
05:21You know upgraded here. They pretty much feel the same and they also take advantage of face unlock

06:10Kind of sound on par with each other in terms of loudness and quality pretty much sound identical

06:32In my opinion, I took a few low light shots as well, too. You guys can give me your opinions about
06:37Uh, but the cameras on here are kind of the same vibe

06:41So basically the s20 ultra has a 108 megapixel standard 48 megapixel periscope telephoto does 4x
06:49Optical zoom then a 10 times hybrid zoom 12 megapixel ultra wide 0.3 depth sensor is using ak24
06:56With a 40 megapixel selfie cam that's using 4k 60

09:26Now the battery life experience on here is pretty much on par
09:30They kind of feel the same that both these phones get, you know, six hours of screen on time pretty easily
09:35but the kind of
09:37A strange thing here is that the s20 ultra has 45 watt fast charging
09:42Wireless and reverse wireless charging the s21 ultra only charges at 25 watts. It's got the same battery size
09:485,000 wireless reverse wireless, but it charges much slower, which is something that I thought was always strange
09:54Um, so yeah, I do like the faster charging on the s20
09:58for sure
09:59So battery life experience again, not too different from my experience. They both pretty much feel on par
