00:00Yeah, I don't believe Riggs was involved in any ways.
00:02But okay.
00:03But there's no way you can know that.
00:04Right.
00:05Not yet until the footage comes out.
00:07Yeah.
00:08But these are-
00:08He's cross-eyed again.
00:09This hit him so hard.

01:07Let's do it.
01:08Let's get into it.
01:09Hell yeah.
01:10Nothing to point out about either of you.
01:12Totally normal outfits for today.
01:14Just excited for the holiday season.
01:16I am wearing a termi sweatshirt that will be on sale for Black Friday.
01:20How much will that be off?
01:2220%, I believe.
01:2220%, wow.
01:23Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:23Nice.
01:25And 100% off if you play your cards right with Donnie.
01:28Well, yeah.
01:28Married man, child on the way.
01:31Let's get into the biggest story of the day.
01:34This is making national news right now.
01:36And when I first saw the headline and didn't know the full story, I was like,
01:39oh shit, what went down?
01:40What happened?
01:42Biz, our own Spittin' Chicklets Biz, seven scumbags tried to beat him up
01:48in his go-to restaurant in Scottsdale, and they found out the hard way
01:53that you don't fuck with an ex-hockey player who doesn't give a fuck.
01:57Especially one that's known for fighting.
01:59Yeah, especially one that that's his bread and butter.
02:01Yeah, so what was it, Sunday night when this happened?
02:05So, and I think the reason all of us were terrified at first is that the only article
02:10that came out said he is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries, which it's like,
02:17if you see that in an article, you're like, well, they must be pretty severe injuries.
02:21They're only believed to not be life-threatening.
02:24I mean, it was only a couple months after Dante got jumped, too.
02:28And Dante ended up legit in the hospital, and both his eyes were stolen shut,
02:33and his picture was horrific.
02:35Yeah, that was like a year ago, I think.
02:37To set the scene, kind of, Biz lives in Scottsdale.
02:41This restaurant, Houston's, that he goes to, he goes, he said, three to four times a week,
02:45he's heading there.
02:46It's kind of his go-to spot.
02:47He said he works, just heads over there, works, heads over there.
02:50He was like, when I'm in Scottsdale, I don't do anything.
02:52I'm just in my apartment, and I go out to eat at the same spot three or four times a week,
02:56and that's my life in Scottsdale.
02:58And you do that long enough.
03:00Like, I feel like we all have our go-to spots.
03:02Those people you become really familiar with, you start to learn about them.
03:05Like, you end up, like, really caring about these people at this restaurant.
03:08So, he's eating there.
03:09He looks over, and these six or seven drunk golfers are pushing one of the managers around.
03:15He steps in to try and help, and they unleashed, or they tried to unleash on him.
03:19Inside the restaurant, and then outside the restaurant.
03:21I think he said he got kicked in the head a few times, which means what?
03:24He got taken to the ground at some point.
03:26And that could have gone, like, I know we're saying,
03:28Biz, ex-hockey player, known for fighting, blah, blah, blah.
03:31But against that many people, like, it is actually pretty amazing
03:35that he didn't get more fucked up.
03:37Like, he could have gotten, we're just very lucky that he's okay, all things considered.
03:42It's crazy.
03:43He filmed that vid, like, he looks fine in the vid.
03:46He obviously, he's got a couple of bruises on the side of his head.
03:49But all things considered, like, I would just be a pulp after trying to fight those guys.
03:54My favorite line is, when he's talking in the video,
03:57is he's saying, like, don't worry, Dave, took some, gave more.
04:01Yeah.
04:01So he's, like, got such a chill attitude about it.
04:04The Marine Corps should honestly have that as the new slogan.
04:07Yeah, took some, gave more.
04:09Just super badass, and I expect nothing less of Biz, and I'm glad he's okay.
04:13Yeah, because, like, the fight itself sounded crazy.
04:15It started in the restaurant, moved outside,
04:18moved across the street into the CVS parking lot.
04:21And, like, he, I think he used the term boot fucked.
04:24Yeah, so I think his head got, like, boot fucked into the side of the CVS or something.
04:29Yeah, crazy.
04:31I do note at the end of that video, too, he says, like, two things I want to know.
04:37When does, because this place has to have security cameras.
04:39Yeah.
04:39The CVS, like, the restaurant, like, when is that video coming out?
04:42Because that's going to be crazy.
04:43And two, he said, I think at the end, like, can't wait for their names to get out there.
04:48I want everybody to see who these fucking scumbags are, like,
04:51going at the manager of the restaurant, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
04:54You have to wake up the next morning and be like, fuck.
04:58Yeah, I mean, going after, like, waitstaffs or manager makes you, like, a cunt already.
05:02And it sounded like it was because they wanted more to drink,
05:05and they were cut off, and they were already past the point.
05:08Like, people that give waitstaff trouble in general are, like, that's awful to do,
05:13to different people.
05:14But this story, Biz doesn't have any trouble with the ladies at all.
05:19Imagine.
05:20Imagine.
05:22Like, I'm an ex-hockey player.
05:24I'm on TNT all the time.
05:26And I was able to-
05:27Beat seven dudes.
05:28And he does not need more push-ups.
05:30No, he doesn't.
05:31He does not.
05:32The only other twist on this of note, it was a group of golfers.
05:37I haven't heard anything from Riggs and Frankie.
05:40Yeah.
05:40And weren't they just in Arizona the other day?
05:41Yeah, yeah.
05:42True.
05:43True.
05:44They need to disavow as golfers.
05:46Yes.
05:47Here's the thing.
05:48Yeah, I don't believe Riggs was involved in any ways, but-
05:50Okay.
05:51But there's no way you can know that.
05:52Right.
05:53Not yet, until the footage comes out.
05:55Yeah.
05:55But these are-
05:56He's cross-eyed again.
05:57Biz hit him so hard.
05:58Oh, shit.
06:01But this is a group of golf bros in Scottsdale.
06:05There's, like, a 75, 80% chance that they are fans of barstool sports.
06:11I wouldn't be shocked if the footage leaks and one of them is wearing some barstool merch.
06:16It'll be a lot less cool for Biz if you're wrong and these dudes are, like, 85 years old.
06:21He's just wailing on these old dudes in the bar.
06:24I doubt it.
06:24Being a Spittin' Chicklets fan and waking up and you had no idea,
06:27and then they're all on there calling you a Muppet.
06:30Because, I mean, they sounded fucking-
06:32I'm sure they were all hammered.
06:33They wake up the next morning, they're like,
06:34oh my God, we fucking jumped Paul Bissonette.
06:38Yeah, not great.
06:39They're fucked.
06:40Not great.
06:40But they've been arrested.
06:42I think they were charged with assault, probably, and-
06:47Has to be aggravated.
06:48If you have that many people going at one person, I would imagine it's aggravated assault.
06:53Yeah, so good luck with that, fellas.
06:55Yeah.
06:55And, like, Biz is not someone you want to mess with.
06:58When we were filming in Tennessee, there were a couple times where
07:01he gave me, like, a friendly shoulder check as, like, a joke,
07:04and I would just go flying five feet in the other direction.
07:07Yeah.
07:08That's okay, I'll say.
07:09I also can't wait to see the injuries on these guys.
07:11Like, I hope pictures come out, and they're pretty funny.
07:14That would be so sick.
07:15Yeah.
07:15If they had, like, busted up noses.
07:17Yeah, that would be awesome.
07:18So, interested to see the footage if that comes out.
07:21So, I'm glad he's okay.
07:22Yeah.
07:24Up next, we got Drake suing Spotify and Universal Music Group,
07:29that's his own record label, for allegedly artificially inflating
07:33the popularity of Kendrick Lamar's diss track, Not Like Us.
07:38KFC had a pretty good blog about this, where he's like,
07:41two things are true.
07:43It's lame as fuck.
07:45You seem like the ultimate Karen to sue because there was a
07:48diss track about you.
07:50If I tried to sue everybody who came at me in the comments,
07:53I'd be doing it forever.
07:55Yeah, I would be a busy lady.
07:57But at the same time, Drake is doing what might be the most
08:01important thing in modern music history, taking on the music
08:04industry.
08:05Apparently, ever since things have gone digital, like, these
08:09music, the heads of all these music groups are in total
08:12control of everything.
08:13And nobody knows where do they really get their numbers from?
08:16Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
08:17How do they pick and choose these artists?
08:18Like, apparently, the whole world is so shady.
08:21And he, Drake, wants them to open up the books for public
08:24record.
08:24And doing that could change music forever.
08:27Like, could change everything.
08:28Because they have all the power right now, the people at the
08:30top.
08:30But that's not anything that's new.
08:33With best-selling books and with best-selling music and CDs
08:36before, like, when Eminem first dropped, his Death Row records
08:40would, or whatever it was at the time, would buy, like, a
08:43hundred thousand and send them to different places.
08:46So they've always kind of inflated numbers before.
08:49Like, this is not new.
08:50They're just doing it in a different medium.
08:52Like, New York Times best-selling books.
08:55That's how you're like, how the fuck is that best-selling?
08:57It's because their own publishing houses buy them so
09:00that they could put it as a New York or best-selling.
09:02I'd like to know what Drake thinks they were doing.
09:05Were they just putting that song in, like, every playlist on
09:08Spotify?
09:09Right.
09:10Because it just, it was a very catchy song on its own.
09:14Right.
09:14It became a cultural phenomenon as people screaming, certified
09:17pedophile.
09:19Like, it was playing at the clubs, at sports games.
09:22Like, they would cut that part out and the crowd would just
09:24scream it anyway.
09:25Like, it became a whole phenomenon.
09:27And as he's saying, it became a phenomenon because you guys,
09:29like, forced it and pushed it.
09:31And escalated the amount of listens it got when it didn't
09:34really, like, that kind of stuff.
09:35I don't know.
09:36It would be...
09:37Who was thinking about it, though?
09:38Like, at this point, like, you only have, like, a month, maybe
09:42a month of being relevant online.
09:44Like, that song.
09:45Now that he's talking about it, it's back.
09:48Yeah.
09:48I do think he should have let it go.
09:50But if it comes out that Spotify and these music labels were
09:54doing something very egregious, then maybe it could be a win for
09:59Drake.
09:59But it's got to be really bad.
10:00Or else it's just, why did you bring this back out?
10:02We were slowly starting to forget about it.
10:04But that's...
10:05I think him and his team are smart enough that he wouldn't do
10:07this.
10:07Because it is, like, an embarrassing bad look.
10:09And I'm sure he knows that.
10:10I can't see him doing it unless he had some pretty good inside
10:15scoop knowledge.
10:16Maybe that's the PR move where now he's trying to be, like, the
10:20Spotify Robin Hood.
10:22Yeah, yeah, yeah.
10:23Or, like, you write a diss track about me, I'm going to prove to
10:27you it wasn't as popular or great as you thought it was.
10:29Like, it actually got half the amount of views you thought it
10:33did.
10:33Blah, blah.
10:33You want to gloat over me.
10:34But if he's wrong, that'll suck for him.
10:37That'll be tough.
10:38It is very true, though.
10:39Like, there are certain songs that you can't escape when you're
10:44using Spotify.
10:45Just no matter what playlist you select, they always come back
10:48on.
10:48And I assume it's because their representation are just paying
10:52Spotify tons of money.
10:53Yeah.
10:53And it really would be interesting to know, like, to see the
10:56behind the scenes.
10:58Like, before you had a record, you had something, like, solid
11:00that you could show the book for.
11:01And now, like, it's such a mystery.
11:03I would like to see.
11:04I would.
11:05I kind of hope he wins.
11:06I'm curious to know if it changes any laws or anything, forcing
11:09them to be more transparent.
11:11But we'll see.
11:12In the meantime, Drake is getting absolutely shit on for this.
11:15And, yeah, everyone's basically calling him a Karen.
11:18So we'll see.
11:19I agree.
11:20Yeah, I think we'll be okay.
11:21I'm on the Karen side.
11:23You're on the Karen side.
11:24All right.
11:25Uh, this one, I guess, boy, are we doing pretty bad.
11:29Generation Z says 587 hundred.
11:34Fuck, I can't read numbers.
11:35Yeah, this is a struggle.
11:36You're doing great.
11:37587 comma 000, $587,000.
11:41Nailed it.
11:41Hell yeah.
11:42Is the minimum salary to be financially successful.
11:47Uh-oh, I'm not doing good, guys.
11:50Same.
11:50I'm not even doing a fifth of the good.
11:53Yeah, no, that's tough.
11:54I would say that that's probably about the number to consider yourself, like, lightly rich.
11:59Yeah, you are definitely wealthy.
12:01Like, if you're doing that, you're top.
12:03I think that's top 1%.
12:04That's where the top 1% goes.
12:07And anytime you're in the top 1%, you're rich.
12:09Yeah, well, that's what, like, didn't they recently pass a law, like, anyone who makes
12:14over 400k will get taxed a lot more?
12:16That was the proposal from the Harris administration.
12:19Okay, all right.
12:21But yeah, I guess this is just what they, I thought this was, like, what makes you financially,
12:24it's, Gen Z is saying this is what they consider the minimum to be financially successful is
12:29nearly $600,000.
12:31Okay, Gen Z is on some, I, when I got out of college, I was like, someday, if you work
12:35hard enough, you might make over 70k.
12:38Yeah.
12:38Like, I, that to me was, like, a goal, like, 80 if I was, like, busting my ass.
12:44I wanted to be a dental hygienist because I was like, they, at the peak, they're making
12:4780k a fucking year.
12:48And that was, like.
12:50And then 100k was, like, oh, I have made it.
12:52Oh, yeah.
12:53I lived in New York City.
12:55When I worked at Comedy Central, I made 40k a year.
12:58And that's before taxes and all that shit.
13:00I look back now, I'm like, how the fuck?
13:02So I was living off, like, 28,000 a year in New York City.
13:05I don't know how, like, and I was like, I'm doing okay.
13:08I'm doing all right.
13:09Yeah, like, I talked to my daughter who wants to be, like, an EMT and realistically going
13:14through budgets and stuff.
13:16It's impossible for you to live in a city like Chicago and make less than 50, 60 grand.
13:22Like, impossible.
13:23Yeah, I don't know.
13:24Unless you have, like, 18 roommates.
13:26Crazy.
13:27But yeah, I guess I thought 80k was my success.
13:29So Gen Z saying 600,000 almost is making me feel weird about myself.
13:33And they're all going to feel bad because that's going to be a long, long time before
13:36that any of them get even remotely close to that.
13:39Now, if you're making 100k in Manhattan, it will be tough.
13:43You're not going to have a lot of disposable income.
13:45If you make 100k in more rural America, you could be doing very well for yourself still,
13:51I think.
13:52Yeah, those numbers that you could see, like, charts of where you have to be to be a top
13:56five percenter in whatever states.
13:58And then you'll have a state that'd like to be a top five percenter, like in Mississippi,
14:02like 135 household income will make you, like, a top five percenter.
14:07So if you work a job like us, where you could be, like, a digital nomad or go like you did,
14:12live in Thailand, you could live like a god.
14:14Your same salary that you have in Chicago, you move it to Thailand and you're living like
14:19the Rockefellers.
14:20Yeah.
14:20Which I could technically do.
14:22I feel like, I don't think Dave would say no.
14:24He doesn't probably even know I work out of the Chicago office.
14:28If I was like, I'm just going to go and live in Vietnam, I would probably be able to put
14:32out even more content.
14:33But my salary would go insane over there.
14:36Oh, yeah.
14:36I would have like a villa and a pool.
14:38Oh, big time.
14:39Pool boy probably.
14:39We could all come visit.
14:40A pool boy.
14:41Definitely a pool boy.
14:42Yeah.
14:44Do you ever get tempted to do something like that?
14:46Yeah.
14:47Especially because, like, my wife, her degree is in teaching abroad.
14:52So it's like, no matter where you go in the world, you can find work as an English teacher.
14:57Yeah.
14:58It would just be tough now that my parents are getting older, like, living on the other
15:01side of the planet.
15:02Especially with a kid on the way and all that stuff, so.
15:04But, I mean, with a kid, I would, like, rather go abroad because I could afford a nanny.
15:10A full-time nanny.
15:10Good point, yeah.
15:11Childcare is easier in other countries, too.
15:13Living.
15:14Yeah, I could, yeah, for sure.
15:16I could afford a living nanny in Vietnam.
15:18God, that would be so elite.
15:19And I bet you would have the best breakfast ever.
15:22Yeah.
15:22For the record, boomers to boomers, about $100K is what they consider financially successful.
15:28Gen X say about $212K is what they consider.
15:32Boomers are so out of touch.
15:33$100 grand.
15:34And millennials, $180.
15:36So my age range, if I was making $100, yeah, I think if that was true, I'd be like, fuck
15:41yeah.
15:41Think pretty good about my, maybe I do.
15:43You guys don't know.
15:44Yeah, nobody knows.
15:45Don't look at me too closely.
15:47And I think that's a good thing.
15:48We're so poor.
15:50Chaps was saying on Drop A Pin that in Norway, you can look up anyone's salary.
15:55Like, because it's all public knowledge.
15:58I wouldn't like that if that was the case in the US.
16:01Because, like, as they say, comparison is the thief of joy.
16:05Like, I mean, yeah, you're always just going to be, like, finding someone else and being like,
16:09oh, I work harder than them and they make more.
16:11As a woman, it'd be really tough.
16:13Boy, I am making half of what you guys make.
16:15Again.
16:16But it would be great, like, in your business, you know, be like, well,
16:19this person does the same thing as I do and they make this amount.
16:22Why am I not making this amount?
16:24Yeah, they say it's a very good thing, but I can see it being painful.
16:28Yeah.
16:31All right, what else do we got?
16:33All right, White Sox Dave's hair.
16:35Yeah.
16:36Let's get into it.
16:37Okay.
16:38There's not much to get into.
16:39You posted a photo.
16:41Yeah.
16:42He posted a photo.
16:43We have this wheel on the yak where you have to go out to dinner with White Sox Dave.
16:46He posted a photo from the restaurant and his hair looked amazing.
16:48He knows how to fluff it and shush it and, like, tease it, I guess,
16:52to where it looks pretty good.
16:54And then you unraveled the whole thing here.
16:56The saddest part about that is, you know, he's gotten in a bunch of reps
16:59trying to get that just right.
17:01Like, he's practiced it a bunch to get it where it's, like, presentable.
17:05But basically...
17:06The other day we were filming something and I tried to just take a picture of his
17:10bald spot to send to the clinic, but he had it combed so perfectly that I couldn't even,
17:14if I wanted to take a bad picture, I wouldn't have been able to.
17:17Yeah, no, he's gotten really good at it.
17:19But you guys, I guess the next time you're on the rundown, you will be back from Turkey
17:25where you're taking a little herd of the barstool fellas to get hair plugs, hair implants?
17:30Hair transplants.
17:31What's the final, like, what's the latest news on all that?
17:34So five barstool employees.
17:36Can you name them?
17:37Nikki Smokes, Ken Jack, Eddie, White Sox Dave, and Rudy.
17:42Okay.
17:43And then I think we're bringing eight to nine stoolies.
17:46And they're, like, all in?
17:47They're confirmed?
17:48Yeah, they are.
17:49Yep, all confirmed, all paid.
17:51And I think almost all of them are balding even worse than White Sox Dave.
17:56Okay.
17:56Okay.
17:57Tough group.
17:58But I'm a little nervous just because it's the first group trip I've ever done.
18:03Yeah.
18:03And as the only one who's traveled to Turkey before, like,
18:07people are going to be looking to me to have it all planned out.
18:10If they have any questions, concerns, like, I'm the one who's going to be responsible for that.
18:16So a lot of pressure.
18:18But I'm excited.
18:19I think the content is going to be incredible.
18:21And I think this could become a yearly thing.
18:24Taking dudes to do boobs next year.
18:28That would be incredible.
18:30Donnie's sending out emails, mass email.
18:32Hey, if anybody in Chicago wants to get their tits done.
18:35Yeah, just me and 10 chicks.
18:38A boob trip.
18:38We could go down to Brazil and get Brazilian butt lifts.
18:41Yeah, I like it.
18:42The whole BBL, right?
18:43But I'm really interested to see because, like, afterwards,
18:47there's, like, a lot of upkeep that comes with it.
18:49And they can't wear hats right away.
18:50And so they're going to be walking around here getting roasted mercilessly.
18:54I say that with love.
18:54But it's going to be a tough few months.
18:56And then they're going to have the glow up and they're going to be stunning.
19:00Will they be ready to, like, go out and go hippo mode by summertime?
19:05Yeah, you'll be able to swim by summertime.
19:07But I don't think you see the full effects, like, nine months later.
19:11But by six months later, you're starting to look more normal.
19:15Yeah.
19:17So, yeah.
19:18I mean, when I put out a tweet saying we'd be open to bringing stoolies,
19:22I had over 300 people shoot me an email.
19:24Oh, shit.
19:25Yeah.
19:25So, this is the whole...
19:26And you leave the day after Thanksgiving?
19:28Yeah, Friday night.
19:29Oh, my God.
19:30Are you guys staying in, like, one of those four or five-star hotels that they do, like,
19:34and they bring you on, like, a party bus from the airport?
19:37Yeah, yeah, yeah.
19:38That's so sick.
19:40That's awesome.
19:40Well, I can't wait to see how everybody turns out.
19:43Same.
19:43That's going to be a good...
19:44That'll be interesting for sure.
19:46Yeah.
19:47And then I won't be flying back with them because I'm going to India for a week to film some content.
19:52Oh, cool.
19:53Are you just going by yourself then?
19:54Yeah, a solo trip.
19:55So, be on the lookout for some live streams.
19:57And this is your last big trip before the baby, right?
19:59Yeah.
20:00I just want to do one more abroad trip before I'm hunkered down for a while.
20:03Half the people I've talked to were like, don't go.
20:06Don't go to India.
20:07Yeah.
20:07I don't know.
20:08It's been getting a bad rep just in terms of how chaotic it is, how dangerous the food can be.
20:14Yeah.
20:14Due to sanitation.
20:16Are you sticking to the main cities or you're, like, going out in the boonies?
20:19I'm going to stick to the main cities.
20:21Okay.
20:21I think that's where, like, all the madness is.
20:23Yeah.
20:24But yeah, if I can make it to a rural village, that'll be great too.
20:27I'm very jealous of that trip.
20:29I wanted to go because I just finished that, a big book about life in India.
20:33Yeah.
20:33And I wanted to go, like, put actual visuals based off of what I read down.
20:38Yeah.
20:38So, like, going to Mumbai.
20:40I wanted to do that so bad.
20:42As someone who struggles with diarrhea, though.
20:44That's the reason why.
20:45Yeah, you probably can't.
20:46Yeah, it'd be rough.
20:48I can't wait to see those videos come out, especially the Turkey trip.
20:51Yeah, no, it's going to be great.
20:53Getting close to Turkey.
20:54Anything else?
20:55Any big plans for Thanksgiving?
20:58No.
20:58I'm just going to be pumping the Barstool merch for the sale.
21:01Yeah, Black Friday sales coming up.
21:03We got a lot of good merch.
21:04You guys, the travel show, Drop a Pin, you guys have new merch coming out.
21:07Yeah, we do.
21:08It's going to be available for Black Friday.
21:09A little blue, and it's got a blue-footed booby on there.
21:12Hell yeah.
21:14And yeah, that's actually the reason Chaps is dressed like Santa Claus.
21:17We just recorded our Christmas episode with Kate.
21:20North Pole.
21:21We drop a pin on the North Pole and take a dive deep into Christmas lore.
21:25Oh yeah.
21:25The actual North Pole.
21:26Drop a Pin podcast.
21:27You share some great stories about your Christmases in China.
21:31But that podcast is doing really well.
21:33It's great.
21:33So check out Drop a Pin podcast if you haven't yet.
21:36I'm trying to think what else we have.
21:37There's going to be boy mom merch in the store, girl dad merch on the store.
21:41You know, all things you can put yourself in a little container and wear it on your sweater.
21:44That's exciting.
21:45But yeah, a lot of good merch coming out.
21:47And I hope you guys have a great...
21:48I hope everybody has a great Thanksgiving.
21:50Same.
21:51Happy Thanksgiving.
21:52Yeah, that's the rundown.
