00:00All right, everyone, welcome back into another live edition of the Patriots Beat Podcast
00:28here on the CLNS Media Network, presented by our wonderful friends over at PrizePix
00:33and GameTime.
00:34It is Brian Hines back as always with Alex Barth.
00:38Really kind of our first real true offseason show here because, you know, all the coaching
00:43stuff happened and now we're in the thick of it.
00:45Not the thick of it.
00:46We have a long way to go in this offseason, but it's been kind of radio silence down there
00:51at Gillette under this Mike Vrabel, you know, in his first week here.
00:54We know he told us he started this process of hiring and reaching out and interviewing
01:00coordinators, but we haven't heard any news.
01:03Really the only news we got was Tommy Reese, who was considered a reported favorite for
01:08this job.
01:09He worked with Mike Vrabel in Cleveland last year.
01:11He got promoted to the offensive coordinator spot with the Browns, so you can cross him
01:15off this list.
01:16But Barth, are you surprised?
01:18You know, we heard from Vrabel on Tuesday on EEI literally say, I'm going to go back
01:22to my office and kind of start this coordinator search.
01:26We're two days in and we haven't heard any reported interviews.
01:29You know, it's been pretty radio, radio quiet there.
01:32Are you surprised with just that in general, that it has been so quiet so far?
01:36I'm surprised with how quiet it is.
01:38I mean, literally nothing in two days is, is something I, I'm not surprised that they're
01:44trying to do it more under the radar.
01:45I just think that's how Mike Vrabel is going to want to operate under Gerard Mayo.
01:49There's that whole theme of transparency and all of that.
01:52I don't think that that's a priority anymore, which may annoy some people, but at the end
01:57of the day, if it allows them to operate better, we all just want to watch a winning football
02:01team again.
02:02Right?
02:03So let them do it.
02:04I would just remind everybody that just because there is no new, no news, no reports does
02:09not mean things aren't happening.
02:11For instance, last year they interviewed what I think it was 11 offense coordinators, right?
02:1512 offense coordinators.
02:17Van Pelt was 12.
02:19Yeah.
02:20Right.
02:21But that interview was not reported.
02:22Yeah.
02:23Remember that?
02:24They just got hired.
02:25We had this whole list of people they'd talked to.
02:28And then we find out on like a Thursday night, Oh, they hired Alex Van Pelt who they had
02:33talked to the other day and it just never got out there.
02:36So I, just because we're not hearing anything doesn't mean things aren't happening.
02:42That would really surprise me if we found out they haven't started the process yet,
02:46especially after what Vrabel said the other day, but they're clearly doing a good job
02:50of keeping it all under wraps and you know, it could be a situation where we hear, you
02:55know, next week, Oh, Hey, we hired this person and we interviewed eight others and here's
02:59the list.
03:00And like that happens, it's not super common, especially in the modern era and the social
03:05media age and not for a position like offensive coordinator, maybe like a lesser position
03:09on the staff positional coach.
03:12But yeah, I just, I don't just because we're not hearing things doesn't mean things aren't
03:18happening.
03:19It's just my guess.
03:20It's just my, not even a guess.
03:21It's just my take.
03:22Like I wonder if that's what's going on.
03:24Yeah.
03:25So because there's not much, uh, you know, coordinator updates or coaching staff updates,
03:29we are going to turn it over to you guys in the chat.
03:32So if you have any questions about Vrabel, the free agency is going to start soon.
03:37Senior bowl, shrine bowl, start draft questions, tons of that.
03:40You guys can start putting those in the chat.
03:43Speaking of those two, uh, kind of all-star games, college all-star games coming up.
03:49Is that, do you think the deadline for the coaching staff or do you have a deadline of
03:53where you would say like, okay, we want to at least have maybe our offensive and defensive
03:57coordinators by this point, Vrabel really didn't want to put a timeline on it, but would
04:03you be like, okay, we'd at least want our offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator
04:08to be determined by the time we're going to the shrine bowl and the senior bowl in two
04:13weeks?
04:14I mean, I, I think you want to have the bulk of your staff at that point, you know, it's
04:19still assistant positional coach this or that, whatever, but like you, cause you want to
04:25have your coordinator certainly by then.
04:28And I would say positional coaches for some of what are going to be the more focused positions
04:32in the off season.
04:33I wouldn't even say the biggest positions, like, cause I don't know how much you need
04:36your quarterback coach to go down there when, if you are drafting quarterback, it's later
04:39on, but like your offensive line coach or coaches, wide receivers coach, that's going
04:43to be the big one.
04:44Once they get offensive coordinator locked in that, that's going to become like the new
04:47focal point, like quarterbacks coach was last year.
04:52So I think you want your coordinators by then, cause you also need to know like, what kind
04:55of system are we going to be running?
04:56Right.
04:57Are we going to be, uh, you know, West coast, are we going to be EP?
05:01Are we going to be, cause you got to know what kind of players you want for the system
05:05and you want to evaluate players through that lens when you're down there.
05:09So I would think by the start of those games and that's in two weeks, if there's nothing
05:13in two weeks, I will be shut.
05:15Like then yeah, it's alarm bells ringing if there's nothing in two weeks, but I, you know,
05:21I don't think you needed to hear anything this week.
05:22I wouldn't say they're behind schedule or anything unless truly have done nothing on
05:26the staffing, uh, on the staffing front, but like, how could they, they've nothing else
05:31to do right now.
05:33I know that's literally all their focus is on right now, because especially cause Elliott's
05:38here in the personnel department, like they've done a lot of the legwork during the regular
05:43season of the draft stuff.
05:44Like there's no catching up to do in that department.
05:47So literally Mike for able right now, he has to figure out his coaching staff.
05:51Like that is what he's up to doing.
05:53There was one kind of thing and Jason points it out here, uh, in the chat with drew Wilkins,
05:59who was the Patriots, uh, outside linebackers coach this year.
06:03He was named the defensive coordinator for the East West shrine bowl today.
06:07Was that of interest to you?
06:08Do you think he'll continue to have a position with the Patriots?
06:12Is that like a sign that maybe he's hanging on here, but did you read into that drew Wilkins
06:17news at all today?
06:18I, I mean, good for drew Wilkins and we know he was on the, uh, the NFL network list of
06:22like up and coming coaches.
06:23So it makes sense for him to be targeted for a position like that.
06:27It's not a guarantee that he's sticking around.
06:31Um, we've seen Patriots coaches do this in the past and then either get reassigned or
06:36just leave.
06:37Right.
06:38Uh, like Troy Brown last year.
06:39Where was it?
06:40Troy Brown last year.
06:41He's the offensive coordinator.
06:42He was at the senior bowl, the shrine bowl, but he was on, uh, he was hot.
06:48He was Joe Milton's offensive coordinator because remember we kept saying like, let
06:53him throw the right downfield and Troy Brown just kept calling like screens and these shorts.
06:57Right.
06:58So, and then obviously like he got reassigned.
07:00So I good for drew Wilkins.
07:02I don't think it, what I don't, it doesn't signal one way or the other about his future.
07:09I think that that's an opportunity, you know, they label him with that job cause that is
07:13his current job, but he could just as easily leave, you know, during or after the senior
07:19bowl.
07:20So I, or he could stay like, I wouldn't read too much into that.
07:23They don't know who the defensive coordinator is going to be right now.
07:25The defensive coordinator and Mike variable are going to pick the linebackers coach.
07:28So maybe Mike variable really likes drew Wilkins and he's here and that could be true
07:32without him going to the senior bowl.
07:33I don't think it's all.
07:34I really liked this guy.
07:35So I'm going to get the senior bowl to pick him as defensive coordinator.
07:38That's all independent of this to me.
07:40Yep.
07:41Well, kind of on that topic, uh, Andrew asks what coaches really, if any, do you think
07:46we'll stay from last year?
07:49So I think off the top, you just look at the guys.
07:52Mike variable has experience with Bob Bicknell was the tight ends coach in Kansas city for
07:55a year and he was there.
07:56And obviously he, I mean, even in Kansas city, he caught passes.
08:00He did that kind of goal line, tight end things.
08:01He figured he knows Bicknell a little bit, and that was a, a good group last year, right?
08:07A good room.
08:08So maybe, maybe he gets a chance to stay.
08:10Uh, he worked with Tom Quinn at Tom Quinn was his special teams coordinator in Tennessee.
08:15Currently the assistant under Jeremy Springer.
08:17So does he promote Tom Quinn does Tom Quinn kind of tell him like, Hey, the setup works
08:22and it's him and Springer back.
08:23Maybe something like that.
08:24I would say both of those guys are in a position to stay.
08:28And, um, the, the, really the other two guys that I look at are Mike Pellegrino, who we
08:33know is a damn good coach and I'm sure they'd love to keep.
08:37And if he's not going to Chapel Hill, Brian Belichick has been a good coach as well in
08:41that safety's room.
08:42So those are maybe, and a guy that did variables familiar with too.
08:44So beyond that, Alex Van Pelt's kind of a wild card.
08:47I really have no clue sort of where he goes from here.
08:51He has gotten fired twice in two years, but neither time he was really at fault.
08:58It was kind of just, he was in a bad situation.
09:00So, you know, he, he wants to be a head coach, right.
09:03But you don't want, you gotta be aware of how you're perceived league wide if you're
09:09trying to get to that position.
09:10So just taking a demotion here, hurt your stock more than, you know, if you go somewhere
09:16else and become a quarterback's coach to step back, but it's not technically a demotion.
09:19Does somebody want to make him an offense coordinator?
09:21But if he does go elsewhere, he's not with Drake Mays, you know, the same level of success.
09:25Does he just go do media for a couple of years?
09:28I've heard some people suggest that, that, you know, he, he kind of has that personality
09:32that did in enough connections that he can do that.
09:38So yeah, I, uh, he's kind of the wild card, but Bicknell Pellegrino Quinn Springer, Brian
09:47Belichick are the guys I look at to possibly stay.
09:50Yeah.
09:51It felt like maybe the best path for AVP staying was Tommy Reese, right.
09:54Just because of the Cleveland connection and that similar offense.
09:57Like if Tommy Reese comes in as your offensive coordinator, maybe you can convince AVP to
10:02hang around in a quarterback role, like a quarterback coach role if he doesn't have
10:06offers elsewhere.
10:08So maybe that ship has kind of sailed, but definitely agree with the special teams, the
10:13connections easy there.
10:14And that was, you know, probably their best unit last year as a whole.
10:17The special teams unit.
10:18And then we've talked a lot about Mike Pellegrino and I guess with Brian Belichick, like every
10:22day that passes that he doesn't announce that he's going down a chapel Hill or, or someone
10:27reports that like the odds increase, uh, that, that he'll come back, uh, to Foxborough.
10:33So we'll, we'll wait and see on that.
10:36And they hired, um, the guy from Washington, that's offensive backs coach in Washington.
10:41So, um, all right.
10:45Some off season questions, uh, T Higgins or Brown, Brown, not even close, Brown, not
10:52even close.
10:53It's a, ask me AJ Brown or DK Metcalf.
10:55That one's a little tougher because I think Metcalf isn't going to cost quite as much.
11:00And I think they're more comparable players.
11:02I know Brown's going to be a lot more expensive than Higgins.
11:04I don't care that guy.
11:06You can get that guy.
11:07It's a real, Higgins is a really good receiver, but we've never seen him do it as the number
11:12one guy.
11:13We've never seen AJ Brown on multiple teams in multiple systems and multiple scenarios
11:17just dominate.
11:19And that's, that's my whole theme for the wide receiver position.
11:21The sauce is in Brian.
11:22You've heard me say it.
11:23You guys who watched the show, heard me say it.
11:26It's it's all about the most proven commodity they can get.
11:30I want the most proven high-level commodity.
11:32They can get actually at that position, especially specifically for that position.
11:36That's how I feel.
11:37Um, so AJ Brown all day easily.
11:40I further, I still don't think Higgins is going to be available.
11:44Do you think AJ Brown will be available?
11:45Do you think there's any smoke there?
11:48We know able, rabble loves them the way he was talking about them on the radio the other
11:51day.
11:52I think any player in theory is available via trade.
11:54So I guess in that sense, I shouldn't say Higgins is unavailable, but, um, yeah, I think
12:00if you, if you name the right price, it's possible.
12:02A lot of it depends how they feel about to want the Smith.
12:04If you're a Patriots fan, you want to Vontae Smith to just play super well down the stretch
12:08here because do the Eagles kind of look at that?
12:11Cause they haven't paid him yet.
12:12Right?
12:13So do the Eagles look at them last off season?
12:17Maybe I think he got like one of those three year, big money extensions.
12:21Didn't he get one of those?
12:22Like it's like a transition deal though, right?
12:23It's not.
12:24Yeah.
12:25It's, it's void year heavy.
12:26All right.
12:27So he was paid, but, um, do the Eagles look at it and say, all right, you know, we can
12:31make it work with the Vontae Smith.
12:32We need other options.
12:34Let's go to, uh, let's see if we can move on from AJ Brown.
12:39I just, I mean, what do you think?
12:42You'd probably have to give up a first round pick for him, right?
12:44So then it becomes like, how do you, if they're sitting at four, like, is you're not trading
12:49for, for AJ Brown, obviously you trade 38.
12:53Probably not.
12:54Is it like 38 and 69, or if you end up trading back from four and you pick up another second
13:00round pick, then it's like two second round picks.
13:03So I would try to trade two second round picks isn't bad, especially like the one I look
13:08at.
13:09And Brian, you tell me if this is not enough for the Raiders, because the trade chart says
13:14this isn't fair, but like past history says it might be more fair for, for six and 37.
13:22And that's the whole trade.
13:24I know it's not fair on the trade chart, but you're, they're probably doing that for like
13:29Shador, right?
13:31Because it's for quarterback, you get the quarterback boost.
13:33So I think that would be fair.
13:34So if you can do that, like the combination of 37 and 38 back-to-back is fascinating to
13:39me.
13:40You can trade you up to like 16, 17.
13:43I can get you.
13:44It can get you just up inside the top 20.
13:47You could trade one of those for a player and still pick in that spot.
13:53The other thing I would say, if you're looking at AJ Brown specifically in the Eagles say,
13:56no, we want a first round pick.
13:59You trade 38 and 69, I think gets you to like 22.
14:05And then you trade, this is what the Vikings did last year.
14:08And then they didn't end up making the second trade, but you trade 38 and 69 for like 22,
14:13I think 22 Seattle at that point, I might just ask for DK Metcalf, but 38 and 69 is
14:19Seattle for 22.
14:20And then you trade 22 to the Eagles.
14:23So you've essentially traded your second and your third, but the Eagles wanted a first.
14:27So you try to find a team, like somewhere in the early twenties, that's like, you know
14:30what?
14:31Yeah.
14:32Well, you know, it's not a great class this year.
14:33We'll pass on the first round.
14:34We'll take the volume, something like that.
14:35So if they get a, that would probably be how you do it.
14:39If they did the trade with Vegas.
14:40So they say they got six and 37.
14:43If you package 37, sorry, 22 is the charters.
14:46They would absolutely do something like that.
14:48Yeah.
14:49Or 23 is the Packers.
14:50That's also right out of their playbook.
14:52And 24 is Minnesota who has like three draft picks this year.
14:55So they might be looking for, but if you do have 37 and 38 trade chart wise, you could
15:02get up to 15 overall.
15:06That's true.
15:07But we're also, the trade chart says that you can't make that trade that I laid out.
15:10So, but like, let me ask this, if you're the Raiders, so like if I'm the Patriots and I'm
15:13sitting there, I either want six in the future first or six and 37.
15:19Yeah.
15:20Which one would you rather do?
15:21If you're the Raiders?
15:22Probably 37.
15:23Cause I think they still have their whole assortment of picks after that this year, or
15:27at least they have their third and fourth rounders.
15:28I just, I don't know for sure that trades in play because it is, there's some historical
15:37context that suggests, but it's not like one of these, like remember last year, I just
15:40kept hammering the Niners trade, the Niners trade, the Niners, like there isn't one of
15:44those.
15:45I, you kind of have to get creative to get it to line up.
15:48But it's not totally out of the ballpark.
15:50So, and there's no, you can't just like ask it like in a press conference, like, wouldn't
15:55you do this trade?
15:56Right.
15:57So I don't know how we find out how applicable that trade is, but I just, I can't escape
16:02from that thought that if you could get that extra second to move to six, especially cause
16:09Abdul Carter is probably going to be off the board at four to begin with.
16:12So you're really only giving up one player.
16:14You're giving up whoever goes at five because you assume quarterback's going to four, right?
16:19That puts you in, in really, really, really good shape and it's the Jaguars at five.
16:25And frankly, they're probably going to be in on a corner, which isn't necessarily a
16:29first round need for you.
16:30It's a need, but you don't need Will Johnson, right?
16:34So you're in kind of good shape there, but I don't know.
16:38Yup.
16:39We'll see if it actually, if it could actually happen.
16:41Keep reading on the sidelines, AJ Brown, keep reading.
16:45Um, all right, before we, there's lots more draft stuff, uh, to get to, but very quickly
16:51before we do that, I want to tell you guys about prize picks right there.
16:57Oh, let me hide this comment so we can see prize picks.
17:00Uh, you just pick more or less on at least two players for a shot to win up to 1000 times

17:25When my picks hit, I can get my money in as quick as 15 minutes and price picks now offers
17:29mastercard for quick and easy deposits into your account.
17:34This sport season, Barth, do you have anyone, uh, divisional around weekend that you are
17:38eyeing on our prize?
17:40We got to do a prize picks lineup this weekend.
17:42So we don't have to do a six, six, six, a person lineup if we don't want to, but anyone
17:47that we're keeping that going, uh, Lamar, I think Lamar is on a heater.
17:51I like Lamar.
17:52I think he's going to have a big game.
17:54Lamar versus Josh Allen will be a great one.
17:57Um, two 20 and a half past yards, 54 and a half rush yards or rush touchdown one and
18:03a half past touchdowns from Lamar.
18:05I like that 54 is that just rush yards for just Lamar?
18:08Yeah.
18:09Uh, 55.
18:10I like more on that.
18:11Yeah.
18:12Lamar 54.
18:13Uh, let's, let's put Josh Allen and let's see, let's have them go at it.
18:18Or are we, they do have Josh Allen plus Lamar Jackson, 99.5 rush yards.
18:24Oh yeah.
18:25I like more on that.
18:26Okay.
18:27We'll do more on that too.
18:29Um, who else?
18:31We have the lions.
18:33Lions are playing the commanders.
18:35Uh, Jaden Daniels has been red hot.
18:39Let's see.
18:40236 and a half past yards.
18:43He's probably going to have to 34 and a half past attempts from Jaden Daniels.
18:50Daniels and golf 508 and a half past yard bind.
18:53Are they throwing the ball at them?
18:55I mean, it's indoors.
18:56I can see that.
18:57All right.
18:58We'll, we'll go more.
18:59Um, who else is playing, uh, Houston and the chiefs, chiefs, Texans.
19:09I feel like my homes could throw a pick in this.
19:11I was literally just thinking that, um, more than half an interception, two more.
19:18Oh, let's, let's do AJ Brown.
19:20Let's throw AJ Brown.
19:21Yeah.
19:22We got to get future.
19:23Are they going to, are they going to force AJ Brown the ball after he only had like one
19:26catch last week?
19:27He's that usually does happen.
19:29He's at five receptions or 69 and a half receiving yards for AJ.
19:33I like more than five receptions.
19:34All right.
19:35And then what's, uh, what's Devonta Smith at Devonta Smith is at 54 and a half receiving
19:43yards, four and a half receptions.
19:46Let's go less on the receptions for him.
19:47Let's say they flip it.
19:48All right.
19:49So there's our six Lamar Jackson, more than 54 and a half rush yards, Lamar and Josh Allen,
19:54more than 99 and a half rush yards combined.
19:57Jaden Daniels plus Jared golf, more than 508 and a half past yards combined.
20:01Patrick, my home's more than half an interception.
20:03AJ Brown, more than five receptions and Devonta Smith, less than four and a half receptions.
20:08Of course, we got our 25 time multiplier.
20:12So a $20 entry fee wins $500.
20:14And if you guys download price picks apps today and use code CLNS, you get $50 instantly
20:20after you play your first $5 lineup again, that's code CLNS to get $50 instantly.
20:26After you play your first $5 lineup on prize picks, run your game.
20:32We'll make sure to put that lineup out before the divisional games kickoff on Saturday and
20:38you guys can play along with us.
20:40We're hot.
20:41We won for our last one.
20:43We won our last one.
20:44I mean, we're rolling.
20:45We are.
20:46We are rolling right now.
20:47So hopefully we can keep that success going, but let's roll back over to the chat here.
20:53There are some couple draft questions.
20:57Oh, this was a quick, easy one.
21:00Sure.
21:01Vrabel asked Evan what his favorite play was.
21:04If Vrabel asks you, Alex, what your favorite special teams play was, what would be your
21:08response?
21:09I mean, well, because right.
21:12That was more like a concept type thing.
21:16I guess my favorite like concept is not really a play.
21:19I'm a fan of the old coffin corner punt.
21:20It's kind of a lost art, but, you know, just knock the ball out of bound, not have guys
21:24go down there and down it, but knock the ball out of bounds inside the five by to give my
21:29favorite like special teams play, though, it's the it's the dropkick extra point.
21:33It's the Doug Flutie dropkick.
21:35So that being said, I don't necessarily need to see them run that.
21:38I don't necessarily want to see them run that, but that's my favorite.
21:41So it's it's a little different than how it worked with Evan.
21:44Yeah, it's a little more not as many options to pick from, but all right, let's get back
21:51to the draft.
21:52Let's see.
21:53Let's see.
21:54Let's see.
21:55Let's see.
21:56Let's see.
21:57Let's see.
21:58Let's see.
21:59Let's see.
22:00Let's see.
22:01There's someone talking.
22:02Why do people say that we should draft an edge rusher early on?
22:06Did they not watch our O-line last year?
22:09Guessing this is the Abdul Carter versus kind of Will Campbell and Melvin Banks debate.
22:14I would say, did you watch the defensive line?
22:16She walks the pass rush last year.
22:18Was it?
22:19They had outside of that Bears game.
22:21They had, I think, 19 sacks and 16 games, something like that.
22:2418 sacks and 16 games.
22:27Yeah.
22:28It wasn't good.
22:29Yeah.
22:30And a lot of that was scheme wise to like, they went from one of the best unblocked pressure
22:34teams in the league to really low, but they need a difference maker on that edge and that
22:40like when you're talking about the top of the draft, like best, like best player available
22:44in a sense.
22:45And that is probably Abdul Carter over Will Campbell or Kelvin Banks.
22:49So right now you don't, you don't want to force something, especially at the top of
22:53the draft there.
22:55It doesn't mean they don't need a tackle and it doesn't mean you can't talk about a tackle
22:57at the top of the draft.
22:58It's absolutely fair.
22:59But like there, it's just where they're at.
23:02You have to talk about more than one situation.
23:04Definitely.
23:05Um, let's see, let's see, let's see.
23:11Everyone's debating that now.
23:14Yeah.
23:15Although I will say this, somebody said, um, there's a thing called free agency.
23:20If Abdul Carter is there for you, you have to take them look if they can get it done
23:23in free agency, like get a tackle, then great.
23:28The guy has to be there.
23:30And right now it's Cam Robinson who is serviceable struggle.
23:36Yeah.
23:37He's your best option.
23:38Like you still haven't definitively solved that.
23:41So it's a nice thought.
23:42Yeah.
23:43Just sign the starting tackling for agency and draft Abdul Carter.
23:46The starting tackle might not be in free agency.
23:49There might not like the guy might not be there for you to sign.
23:52So, and I don't think you're getting Colton Miller away from the Raiders either.
23:55Your best hope is probably Ronnie Stanley from the Ravens or Baltimore or a Larrick
24:00Jackson from the Rams who will probably try to keep him too.
24:04So these teams don't let quality left tackles get away.
24:08If you want a quality left tackle, you really got to go to the draft.
24:11Yeah.
24:12So, um, this is a good one.
24:15One, uh, you are looking forward to seeing at the shrine slash senior bowl in particular.
24:22Um, is there anybody in print?
24:25Let me think.
24:26Um, I mean, some of those tackles, Josh Connerly, Arianta, Ersery getting that thing sorted
24:33out.
24:34I'm trying to figure out if Robbie Hoots is going to the senior bowl or not.
24:36I've seen some people tweet about it, but he's not on their accepted invites list, but
24:39I'll have a ton of fun watching him.
24:41If he's out there, hybrid, tight end fullback from Alabama, a guy that I'm really excited
24:46about it.
24:47I don't know if you're familiar with him, Brian guy that I'm really excited about since
24:49Mike Grable's recent comments.
24:51You sent us a bunch of his videos the other day.
24:53Yeah, that's right.
24:54I want everybody to know who he is six to two 70, um, high school swimmer.
24:59So he's got like that build a tank and mainly played tight end at Alabama, but he talked
25:05about like, yeah, I know I'm probably a fullback at the next level, but he is like athletic.
25:09He's not like a, you know, I think a lot of people, and there's nothing wrong with
25:14this.
25:15It's just different style.
25:16Like James Devlin, former defensive end.
25:17He was kind of like a guard, like a small guard in the backfield.
25:20That's not what it is, but he's not an H back either.
25:22Like he's not checking bellies much bigger and more physical than that.
25:25He's more stiff.
25:27Like I almost kind of look at him like a Patrick Ricard type.
25:31So cause we're cards like a sneaky athlete.
25:33Yeah.
25:34People don't realize for his size.
25:35So that's a guy I'm excited about.
25:37Yeah.
25:38Mainly the tackles, you know, Ursary Connerly these day two guys, where are they at or late
25:41first round guys?
25:42They trade back up where they at, um, getting answers on those guys will clear a lot of
25:47things up in terms of the Patriots draft picture.
25:50So I think as a Patriots fan, that's what you're looking for the most, um, at senior
25:53bowl.
25:54Even some of those guys you see that are popular in like the second round range, like gray
25:58Zabel from North Dakota state, I'll say this about gray Zabel and let me throw Wyatt Milam
26:02on here too.
26:03I was going also.
26:04Yep.
26:05I think a lot of Patriots fans just look at it and they want the shiny toy at the top,
26:08whether that's Abdul Carter, whether it's tech McMillan, whether it's Travis Hunter.
26:12And then, so, you know, they go into the mock draft simulator and then they just best ranked
26:16tackle left boom draft them.
26:17And it's, Oh look, I solved the tackle thing.
26:22Zabel's a guard.
26:23Zabel is going to be a guard in the NFL.
26:25You look at the way a lot of people around the league talk about him.
26:28He's a guard.
26:30Milam might be a center.
26:33Like he's probably a guard and there's a chance he takes one further step into center.
26:38So those guys are not answers.
26:40Those, if, if, if you're whining about, well, I want to say, I don't want to take Wu Campbell
26:45at the top.
26:46I don't want to take Calvin Banks at the top.
26:48Those guys are guards, but then like you're fine taking Zabel or you're fine taking Milam
26:52in the second round, you're just taking a worse version of the guy you don't want to
26:55take at the top of the draft because you're worried about his position.
26:58So, and for what it's worth, I think they're different.
27:00I think Banks is a tackle.
27:03Campbell we'll see on the arms.
27:04We will see on the arms with Campbell.
27:06If he's at 33, I think he's a tackle, but we'll see.
27:09Banks is a tackle.
27:10I, I still don't get where that's coming from.
27:12It's been explained to me.
27:14I just don't agree with it, but Milam and Zabel are guards.
27:18Those guys are not answers.
27:20If you want to talk about Ursary, you want to talk about Connerly, um, are Milam and
27:27a Zabel just arm length, those short arms, um, arm length and with Milam, it's kind of
27:33movement ability as well, just giving up the corner and stuff like that.
27:38Um, if you want to talk about the tackles in that range, you know, bottom of the first
27:42top of the second, you're talking about Connerly, you're talking about Ursary, uh, into the
27:47second round.
27:48Who's is it?
27:49Belton, the kid from NC state.
27:50I was kind of looking into today, Anthony Belton, do you know who I'm talking about?
27:54Is one of these like, just, just massive, like six, six, three 30 arms long as hell.
28:01It's not the one Jones, right?
28:02He's not Trent Brown.
28:03He's not that kind of guy, but he's a big mauler.
28:05Now they may want more of an athlete at left tackle and the big mauler that's traditionally
28:09more their right tackle, especially if it's Josh McDaniels, but he's a, you know, a player
28:13to talk about.
28:14And then the other guy in there is Josh Simmons.
28:16Um, I've kind of said my piece on Josh Simmons.
28:20He's the right fit for the right team.
28:23The Patriots are not the right team.
28:25And they need a guy who can come in and contribute.
28:26And a guy that's coming off of a knee injury that it sounds like could be pretty severe.
28:31It's just not worth the risk.
28:32You don't need to draft Dominique easily.
28:34You don't need to draft Malcolm Mitchell to play left tackle on this team.
28:38Because if you do that, people say, well, okay, then, you know, you sign a bridge starter.
28:42All right, well, you signed a bridge starter.
28:44So that's your starter.
28:45So now you're using a top 50 pick on a guy who you're not expecting to be on the field.
28:49And this team needs all their top 100 picks to be instant hits.
28:53Like if they're really going to try to get back to 500 this year, you have four top 100
28:58picks.
28:59They all need to be contributors.
29:00A guy coming off a bad knee who may need a wait a year to play is not the answer for
29:04you.
29:05Four or five years ago, yeah, that would have been an excellent value pick for them.
29:09They're not in that position anymore.
29:12Yeah.
29:13I think I'd be a little more open to him if they got someone to kind of hold down the
29:19four at left tackle.
29:20Right.
29:21Let's have that guy play for the year and then drafted another good tackle.
29:26Probably a better tackle who doesn't have a bad knee next year.
29:29I get it.
29:30But it's like if you're whoever you're signing, like probably isn't a long term answer this
29:37like Cam Robinson.
29:38You're not giving like a four or five year deal.
29:42Ronnie Stanley's like 31.
29:43He's had some injury history in the past, too.
29:45So like none of these guys you're signing, ideally, it's probably like one to two years.
29:51And then if you have Josh Simmons, who might be the best left tackle in this draft, then
29:55he can kind of work in.
29:57So I could see both paths, but I don't like use the pick on a defensive edge and get a
30:04pass rush.
30:05Right.
30:06Top of the round to then look back into next year's left tackle.
30:09Mark is a good player, but you're not you can get that guy next year.
30:13And if the plan is to not have him on the field till next year anyway, well, now you're
30:17kind of burning that pick if you're going to have a bridge guy.
30:20Yeah.
30:21So definitely a lot of the tackles will be interesting at the senior bowl.
30:26The receivers are always fun to watch.
30:28Receivers corners one on ones.
30:29There's some good ones going down there.
30:32Taylor loves himself some Pat Bryant, Jaden Higgins, Iowa State, Jalen Royals, Utah State,
30:39Xavier Restrepo.
30:40We're probably all going to love Xavier Restrepo.
30:43Some good, good pass rushers, corners, Azaria Thomas, Florida State.
30:47I really like him late round or midday corner.
30:50He'll probably move up the board, but I'll say this good rosters this year.
30:55Yeah, I think he's at the senior bowl.
30:57Um, I'll leave the shrine bowl is really good.
31:00Tight ends and receivers, by the way.
31:02Um, I is Savion Williams at the senior bowl.
31:06Um, I was looking at this earlier and I can't remember if I, if he was there, he was just
31:14listed around the guys who are there, but I, I'm, I was doing some work on him the last
31:20couple of days.
31:21I'm kind of fascinated.
31:22Okay.
31:23So maybe he's not, I'd be the perfect kind of guy to go to that.
31:26Um, I don't know how familiar you are with him, Brian.
31:30I don't know that he's the answer at wide receiver.
31:32I don't think he's the answer wide receiver, frankly, but just to add some juice to the
31:37offense, six, four to 25 plays receiver tight end and running back.
31:44He's kind of like a more explosive Cordero Patterson.
31:48And if you get one of these more creative offensive coordinators, like we've seen Josh
31:52McDaniel struggle with scheme touch guys.
31:54So maybe not him, but if it's somebody else, like if Mike variable goes back to the offense,
31:59he ran in Tennessee kind of as like John who Smith, but with a more expanded role, right?
32:07I just watch him.
32:08It's like when, when you get the ball in his hands, it's a man versus boys.
32:11He should not.
32:12It's not just straight line speed.
32:13He should not be able to change direction as well as he does at his size.
32:18So he's incredibly technically raw.
32:20Again, I don't think you're drafting him to get your answer at receiver, but if you want
32:25to get creative and have kind of a fun tool in the toolbox, he's really interesting.
32:32How hard is he going to get helmet scouted to a Quentin Johnson?
32:39People would be so incredibly wrong.
32:40I see where you're coming from and it might happen if you literally just helmet scout
32:44him with like the long hair too.
32:46Like he looks like him, but could not be more opposite.
32:50Could not.
32:51Quentin Johnson.
32:52It did.
32:53You need a calendar to time him coming out of a break and with Savio is not say he doesn't
32:57have his own issues, but he moves well.
33:01He's six.
33:02He's six, four, six, five, two, right?
33:03So he's a four to 25.
33:04Yeah.
33:05Big guy like that too.
33:06So he's going to get helmet scouted hard.
33:08That's unfortunate.
33:10Who's going to be?
33:11Oh, who was it?
33:12There's somebody in this draft that I was thinking the other day is going to be like
33:13the worst helmet scouted player in the draft.
33:16It was somebody towards top.
33:17I can't remember, but anyway.
33:20Last year we had a deal with the Drake may Mitch Trubisky stuff, which was fun, but there
33:26is a lot of that last year wasn't there.
33:28Well, Abdul, Abdul Carter's getting in a bit with, um, in the, in the other way.
33:32What?
33:33Yeah.
33:34With Mike partners.
33:35Like, look, I think Abdul Carter's a really good player.
33:36I do.
33:37I think he's a fantastic player.
33:39He's not.
33:40Michael Parsons is just.
33:41He's not.
33:42Yep.
33:43Um, if you had to move back into the first round, who is your target?
33:47Matthews is Tyler Warren.
33:50I think a lot of those tackles we just talked about considering you go elsewhere early on,
33:54like Josh Connerly would be on the top of my list.
33:57I am a fan of Tyler Warren, but anyone else, uh, if you're moving back into that, say mid
34:0320 range, uh, that's on your eye and trade up talk, I don't think Tyler Warren's going
34:08to be there.
34:09That'd be great.
34:10But I don't think he's going to be where he's not getting past the Colts at 12.
34:15I don't think so.
34:17I, or it's the Colts and, um, aren't the Colts at 14.
34:21Maybe it's 14.
34:22The Colts do the Niners kind of look at it and say, you know, kittles on the back end.
34:27Um, the bangles have been looking for a good tight end for awhile.
34:30So I, yeah, I, I don't think he's going to be in that range.
34:34I mean, it depends who you're taking or, you know, who do you take at the top, right?
34:38If I guess, you know, obviously you're not going to double up, but in that range, I look
34:42at some of the tackles.
34:43I look at Connerly, I look at nursery, um, pass rusher at that point, I might stick at
34:4838 or just move up minimally.
34:50Because I think there's so many good pass rushers in that 20 to 50 range.
34:54Although if they really like somebody like Jack Sawyer, maybe you move up, uh, the other
34:57one would be Luther burden.
34:58If Luther burden starts to slip, do you go up and get him?
35:02Especially if you've added a true X, if you've added a guy like T Higgins, like AJ Brown,
35:07like DK Metcalf, putting Luther burden with him as your Z and then pop Douglas in the
35:12slot, that's a really good wide receiver room.
35:16So it's going to depend on who they take at the top, but there there's options if they
35:21move up into that range.
35:22Yup.
35:23I would love Luther burden.
35:24I just don't know if he's going to make it to that range, right?
35:28You have the, uh, Cowboys who are up there who could use, uh, maybe the bangles if they
35:33lose T Higgins.
35:34So I would love him.
35:35I'm not going to book a, in that same type of story or I get another one of those, those
35:39receivers.
35:40So, uh, those would be who I was kind of looking at.
35:43If you trade up, uh, into that range, we have, uh, another player trade reunite with
35:48Mike variable.
35:49Any interest in trying to trade for Jeffrey Simmons, who we all saw like that tweet reuniting
35:54with Mike variable.
35:55I don't know what he would cost.
35:57I think the best cop may be DeForest Buckner a few years ago who went for a first round
36:02pick.
36:03Like he went for the 13th overall pick.
36:05So this is kind of like the AJ Brown stuff we were talking about where you might need
36:09to move up and then trade a first round pick.
36:11But would you have interest in trying to go get Jeffrey Simmons who we all saw this
36:16year?
36:17He can be how dominant he can be, uh, along the defensive line.
36:21He's a hell of a player, man.
36:22He's a hell of a player.
36:23I, like you said, it's probably going to cost too much.
36:26He's a big piece of what Tennessee does, but I mean, I, I'd take him here.
36:30It's a good player.
36:31Hell of a player.
36:32Yeah.
36:33Just might be tough to might be tough to get them, but, um, uh, let's see, we got a ton
36:40of people in the chat arguing about tackles and guards and edge players.
36:45Uh, just to be clear, like, just cause we say you shouldn't take somebody in with fourth
36:50overall doesn't mean you don't need to add that position.
36:52It doesn't mean that position is not a top priority.
36:54No, I know.
36:56Um, it's been a long four months.
36:58Oh yes.
36:59Oh yes.
37:00I miss when they would pick like in the twenties, the thirties life was so much easier.
37:07They're winning super bowls and picking 32nd overall.
37:11Um, let's do this before we find, uh, the next one.
37:16Let me tell you guys very quickly about game time.

38:26What time is it?
38:28Game time.
38:29I'll, I'll pull this one up in terms of the free agent tackles, Jedrick Wills, not a bad
38:34player, but he's not great.
38:36And there's been some stories about his by commitment level.
38:40Yeah.
38:41Buy in.
38:42And that's just not what this team needs right now.
38:45They need competitors.
38:46They don't need guys who are going to sit.
38:47So he was, was he drafted to Tennessee wills Cleveland drafted him.
38:55I thought there was one of those guys.
38:57Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong guy.
38:59I thought there was one of those guys that was drafted to Vrabel in Tennessee.
39:03We look it up.
39:04Maybe.
39:05I don't know.
39:06I feel like I know you're talking about, but, um, yeah, I I'm good on Jedrick Wills.
39:11I'm all set on Jedrick Wills, um, Titans draft history.
39:17Oh, I know what you're talking about.
39:20He's that tackle that got cut like a year and a half in and everybody was confused why
39:23they drafted him.
39:25I don't know who you're talking about.
39:27Um, I'm not saying, okay, well maybe I'm just completely thinking of something else.
39:33I say, are you thinking of Isaiah Wilson?
39:35No, I thought it was one of these Browns guys we were talking about for some reason.
39:40I don't know.
39:41Uh, I'm not seeing like any of their linemen that really ended up with the Browns, at least
39:46not recently.
39:47Dylan, we're doing still there on the Browns now.
39:53He's a free agent.
39:54That's the, um, I'm good with him.
39:57He's not, he's not the answer.
39:59No, he's, I think you're thinking of Isaiah Wilson.
40:02Maybe I don't know what I was thinking of, but yeah, I'm kind of good with Jedrick Jedrick
40:08Wills.
40:09They, they should be aiming higher than that.
40:11He doesn't, he doesn't solve the answer for it sounds like a, Oh, you're thinking of Jack
40:14Conklin.
40:15That's it.
40:16Yes.
40:17It's like older.
40:18That is it.
40:19Um, but he's still under contract and if they're going to let Wills walk, which they
40:24probably are now him and DeJuan Jones, or you're starting tackles.
40:27So I don't think they're going to move a starting tackle.
40:30That has a, uh, a chooks, a core four vibe to it in a sense.
40:35Um, I'll let you take this one.
40:37Cause I know this is one of your, your favorites opinions on Jack Sawyer.
40:41Love them.
40:42Love it.
40:43Would love them late in the first round, early in the second gives them first of all, leadership
40:48tangible, that kind of thing.
40:50Right.
40:52Uh, guy, you can build a program around upfront three down player.
40:57He's going to be on the field 80% of the time defensively, which is really good for defensive
41:00end.
41:01He's going to bring a physical edge.
41:02He can play the run.
41:03He got much better getting after the quarterback this year.
41:07Um, he's not like a star pass rusher.
41:10I don't think you're getting a guy that's going to be like a 16 to 20 sack guy.
41:14I think he can be an eight to 10 sack guy and play the run.
41:19And the idea is you kind of put him on that strong side and then you go try to find that
41:23elite pass rusher opposite him, whether it's Josh sweat, maybe you double up if you have
41:28a really good frequency and it's Abdul Carter on one side, Jack Sawyer on the other, something
41:32like that.
41:33But they need cornerstone kinds of players right now.
41:35Jack Sawyer is a cornerstone kind of player.
41:38He has had an awesome playoff.
41:40The one thing, the guys who are like all power, those, those ed rushers kind of scare me and
41:46that, like, he's not the most twitchy guy.
41:49I think someone compared him, I forget who compared him.
41:52Someone kind of compared him to Rob Ninkovich.
41:53I've seen that floating around, which isn't a bad comp.
41:56Look, I, I get where you're coming from with like the power thing, but Cameron Williams,
42:00people think is a first round pick and he dominated Cameron Williams in that game against
42:04Texas.
42:05Um, and you know, he was in the big 10, he was up against a bunch of good tackles.
42:08So I just, yeah, the, the all power, like, I don't think I would trade up for Jack Sawyer,
42:14especially like late in the first round.
42:16But if he fell to you at one of your next two picks, he's probably going to be a second
42:20rounder now after this playoff.
42:22But, uh, I'm not going to move up for a guy like that, but I agree he's had such a good
42:26playoff and he does kind of just bring that nasty to the, uh, uh, defensive line.
42:31But the, the all power does, does worry me a little bit.
42:34Well, that's why, again, you're not, if you draft him as the primary guy, you're asking
42:37him to do too much.
42:38And now you're in a bad position.
42:39If you draft him as the secondary guy, like Rob Ninkovich was playing opposite Chandler
42:43Jones.
42:44Right.
42:45That's kind of what I'm pitching.
42:48Yup.
42:49Um, let's see, what else do we got?
42:55Has scatter boost stock risen too much for him to be worth the pick?
42:58I don't think so.
42:59Just cause there's so many good running backs in this draft.
43:03There's so many good running backs, but I'll say this, like based off what Mike variable
43:06said, I wouldn't be surprised if they take a running back higher than not.
43:10And that doesn't mean Ash and Gentee, I don't think they're going to do that.
43:13I don't think they should do that.
43:15Could the Ohio state guys be in play on day two?
43:18Could Omari and Hampton be in on, in play on day two?
43:21I think so.
43:22I don't know how I feel about day two, but I mean, let's look, if they're going to try
43:28to replicate the offense in Tennessee, you wouldn't want to see Quinn, Sean Judkins in
43:33the Derrick Henry role.
43:36I think I get what your mantra is.
43:38I think I like Henderson a little bit more than do you?
43:41I like both of them.
43:42I really like both of them.
43:43You can tell me on that.
43:44Well, where are you at with, uh, he's going to the, um, senior bowl with Ollie Gordon
43:50cause he was like two years ago was a monster and he kind of fell off this year and he looks
43:56like Derrick Henry.
43:57He's got like the huge quads and dies and then like the short upper body.
44:03But where are you kind of at with him?
44:04So I think a team's going to get, um, really good value with Ollie Gordon.
44:10You know, he, he was kind of a product of bad coaching this year.
44:13Uh, he had that awesome season last season, right?
44:16And then teams basically from day one, we're just stacking the box against Oklahoma state
44:22and daring to throw it.
44:24And they just didn't, they kept running into really unfavorable situations.
44:28And so Ollie Gordon took a hit that that's going to happen in the NFL as well, but not
44:32to that extent.
44:33And you hope with Drake may that teams can't play that one dimensionally against you.
44:38He's going to have to interview well, right?
44:41He had the issue with, I think it was a DUI and I don't think he totally handled this
44:44season.
44:45Great.
44:46In terms of the way it went for him beyond that.
44:48But if, if he interviews well, like I still, I still think he has, he's the top five running
44:56back talent in this draft.
44:57It doesn't have the production, not off this year for it, but you're right.
45:01I mean, six to two 25, we saw the, uh, you know, the explosiveness last year, he was
45:08just in a really bad situation.
45:11Where how much your teams look at the 2024 tape versus the 2025 tape and how well does
45:16the interview?
45:17Yup.
45:18And kind of same thing with like Donovan Edwards too.
45:20Like he was good compliment last year to play quorum.
45:23And then the Michigan offense was just such a mess this year.
45:26He didn't have a, as good of a year.
45:28He'll be a compliment.
45:29That one's a little different.
45:30He was a compliment.
45:31He also didn't, he deal with like a lot of injuries.
45:34Maybe this year.
45:35Yeah.
45:36But like Gordon was, Gordon was the guy in the back.
45:39I'm more, I'm much more sold on, on Ollie Gordon.
45:42Yeah.
45:43Um, let's see anything else.
45:48Maybe we can hit a few more, uh, back to the coaching staff.
45:52Do you have an ideal candidate for office coordinator and Jack says should make Daniels
45:57be a court candidate?
45:58I think yes, at this point it's wise to hear, uh, from Josh McDaniels, but do you have an
46:03ideal one?
46:04I don't know if there is an ideal one.
46:07I mean, I, I was really starting to get convinced on Tommy Reese, but like, I think McDaniels
46:14be good hire.
46:15Um, which one is it?
46:17I get them mixed up.
46:18Not the Packers head coach, the brother and, and in LA is a matter of, I think Michael
46:22floor, you know, getting some of that Rams influence.
46:26Some people would say you could just get an Akali for that.
46:28I feel like we've been talking about an Akali for years now, and there's just something
46:31about him that they're not going to hire him.
46:33Uh, but Michael floor, if you can get him to come over, it would be interesting, uh,
46:38their quarterback coach to stagone or something, Dave, Dave Rangone, who was an NFL quarterback.
46:43Mike Reese floated him as, you know, potentially guy.
46:46I think he was, uh, was it on Vrabel staff in Tennessee, but he worked for Arthur Smith.
46:51So there is a connection there.
46:54Um, that's something like someone who's worked with quarterbacks or has been a quarterback
47:00I think would be my kind of ideal thing, which is why Nick Caley, you know, he's been
47:05a tight ends coach.
47:06He, he doesn't have that background of working or being a quarterback.
47:10So, you know, McDaniels we've, we've obviously seen that, uh, Michael floor, I think he was
47:16a quarterback in high school or college, and then he's been a quarterback coach.
47:19He's someone too, who was called plays like he was the jets, uh, offensive coordinator.
47:23So he has that experience.
47:25And then the QB coach from the Rams, uh, clearly has experience working with quarterbacks this
47:30year.
47:31So I would love one of those two guys from the Rams, cause it just feels like everything
47:34they're doing out there under Sean McVay has been working.
47:37So, um, I would love one of those two guys maybe, but this is a player I like we're getting
47:42a little deeper here.
47:43Ty Robinson out of Nebraska, uh, kind of like a day three, Jack Sawyer ish.
47:49Now he's a tackle.
47:50He's not an end, but he's another one of these guys that's just going to play a really physical
47:56brand of football.
47:57You might be able to make them like an early down, any six, six, three, 10, um, really
48:02good run stopper, sneaky athletic.
48:04He's not like Christian bar more rushing the passer from the inside, but he's not a liability
48:08either.
48:09Uh, you know, I guess if they're going to move on from like, uh, Daniel equality, could
48:14he be a potential Daniel equality replacement?
48:16Maybe.
48:17Uh, I like him though.
48:18Good player.
48:19A day three guy.
48:20He's not going to be that high impact player.
48:22He just, he doesn't play the position.
48:23He doesn't have the athleticism to get to that level.
48:27Right.
48:28I think he can be a solid rotational player in the NFL.
48:30I do like a Ty Robinson.
48:31All right.
48:32Let's, uh, I'll tell him with this one.
48:34This is kind of an interesting one.
48:36All right.
48:37What do you think Gerard Mayo does next year?
48:39I don't know.
48:40I have no idea because I don't think he's going to get a job in coaching because he
48:46doesn't have, it's not.
48:48So my two, my two theory, if he wants to stay in coaching, I think the two teams you might
48:54want to look at, or the Pittsburgh Steelers, because we heard him say a couple of times
48:59this year, like he called Mike Tomlin for advice.
49:01There seems to be some relationship there and you know, Tomlin, he gave Brian Flores
49:06a job after he had the whole lawsuit and everything.
49:08So maybe the Pittsburgh Steelers or with Brian Flores and Kevin O'Connell, who he was in
49:14the same draft class with right here in new England, maybe he joins that defensive staff.
49:20There was some overlap with Flores when he first started as like a general assistant.
49:26So maybe Flores leaves, I don't know if they would give Gerard the coordinator spot, but
49:30those would be my two spots if he wanted to coach still.
49:33But I also wouldn't be surprised if he just kind of lays low and I don't know if he goes
49:38back to corporate lifestyle or, or just doesn't coach this year.
49:42Yeah.
49:43I just wonder if because of the way that Patriots were perceived around the league, if it's
49:47going to be tough.
49:48You see Pittsburgh, he doesn't have a ton of connections, you know, does he do media?
49:54Maybe.
49:55He can't do media with the way it went this year, it'd be tough after this year.
49:58He might've taken a year off.
50:01Yeah, that, that, that will be interesting to see how, how that one kind of unfolds,
50:05but those were my two, if he wanted to coach, those were my two kinds of connections I was
50:09thinking about, but we'll see if he gives it another shot.
50:13So we'll wrap that one up there.
50:16We'll be back next week.
50:19Hopefully we will have some reported coordinator interviews to talk about.
50:24Let's see.
50:25And then the week after next week, we'll be probably all shrine bowl.
50:28We'll have a lot of shrine bowl content for that.
50:32And then what, when's our first, when do we do our first mock draft?
50:36Is that after the Superbowl is usually right after the Superbowl.
50:40So a couple of weeks after shrine bowl stuff, shrine bowl and senior bowl stuff, we will,
50:45you know, start our, our mock drafts probably one before free agency.
50:48I think that's how we did it.
50:49Yeah.
50:50And then we'll just start rolling them after free agency, especially this year.
50:53They're going to be really hard to do before free agency.
50:55Definitely.
50:56Cause the whole picture could change with all this money they have to spend.
50:59So that looks like our schedule coming up.
51:02So again, we'll be back next week again, hopefully we have some coordinators and stuff to break
51:07down and talk about make sure you guys subscribe to the channel, turn on your notifications
