00:00what is up guys it's doodoo poker here back for another video today we're going to be talking
00:09about small blind versus big blind okay so we're playing against a fish so i'm going to show you
00:16both reg mda but it's going to be more focused on fish mda okay so this is the small blind versus
00:24big blind focusing on the call bet bet line okay so i have eight six of diamonds i'm in the small
00:31blind i decide to raise up three x okay my fish opponent calls me okay so let's look at a solver
00:38and see if we're incentivized to c bet okay so a solver almost never c bets only 16 of the time
00:45with eight six of diamonds but we need to look at mda to see if we're incentivized to c bet or not
00:51when it's mixed okay so we go here and we see field as a single raised pot in position pre-flop
01:00caller big blind versus small blind gto is folding 18 to 22 percent versus a 30 percent c bet we see
01:08fish folding less than regs but still over folding so if it's mixed in a solver you want to c bet still
01:16okay you're more incentivized to c bet than to check all right so we do that and we decide to
01:22c bet small and our opponent calls and i'm going to follow along on this as well we do the same thing
01:28and he calls so the turn now is an ace of spades okay now it gets interesting now here i have a
01:36decision to make i can either over bet to try to fold out a queen or i can check now a solver is
01:48mostly going to over bet but we want to look at incentives okay let's look at incentives for mda
01:55all right so here is the field as the single raised pot in position pre-flop caller after calling 30
02:04we see fish are actually over folding to an over bet on the turn okay they're over folding a bit so you
02:14could over bet here and try to bluff river okay but we also see fish reopening the action 20 percent
02:25more than gto okay so i decide to check now over betting is definitely a viable option as well
02:33okay you can go either way depending on what you think will be higher ev i prefer the lower variance
02:40route of checking and keeping the pot small okay so i decide to check and my opponent reopens the action
02:4620 percent more than gto so i check he stabs for one four sizing now this is not really a solver line
02:55anymore so we kind of have to abandon the solver right now see a solver is never going to bet really
03:01small okay it only bets 75 or bigger so we'll just abandon the solver and stick to the mda and the real
03:09hand so here you have nothing else to do except call because we know they overdo it by 20 more than gto
03:15okay now 10 of clubs on the river obviously not a good card for us we have fifth pair we have basically
03:22nothing right so here we have to think what are we going to do versus bet okay so he bets 50 pot okay
03:33so we have to see how often we're going to be good all right let's do this again it is 178
03:40divided by 692 we have to be good around 26 percent of the time are we good 26 percent of the time
03:48with fifth pair i think most people would fold here but we have to go to the mda again okay
03:55let's look at the mda and see what the field as a single race pot in position pre-flop caller is okay
04:04so we see here that the fish are over bluffing when they bet 50 on the river after calling 30 percent
04:13on the flop in fact they're bluffing so much they have 49 percent air okay and they should have 25
04:23percent remember we only have to be good 26 percent of the time now if we use this data we know we're
04:29good 51 percent of the time right so we always have to call against the fish all right so here i
04:37make the call and he has jack four of spades and it looks like a great call i mean it is a good call but
04:42you have to understand even though gto here well gto was not a thing here so we have to abandon the
04:50solver and we have to look at how fish play okay we know fish over stab 20 percent more than gto and
04:58then we know on the turn and then we know they over bluff on the river now let's switch this let's
05:04say i was against a rag here okay if i'm against a rag i know if he bets 50 i can call because this is
05:15the light green is no pair okay but the dark green is bluffing with low pair like third fourth and fifth
05:23pair so in that situation if he somehow bets 75 on the river i cannot call i will have to turn this
05:31into a bluff and instead check raise okay that's the difference versus fish i'm always calling
05:38versus a rag sometimes i'm gonna have to turn this into a check raise depending on his river sizing
05:44okay so i thought this was a really cool hand kind of illustrates how light we can call down based on
05:51the mda because i think a lot of people would might might fold the turn or might fold the river
05:56but you cannot fold when they're this wide pre-flop this see it all comes back to pre-flop he's too
06:02wide pre-flop and then we know his tendencies post-flop and we have to call down with fifth pair
06:08all right guys so thank you for uh checking out the video please subscribe if you haven't yet new
06:14video every day 9 a.m eastern standard time and i will see you in the next video take care
