00:00Previously on The Apprentice, the teams were challenged to promote a new perfume by Shania Twain using an advertising technique known as wrapping.
00:10Let's make sure it's really pressed up nice.
00:13At Capital Edge, Adam's idea to wrap horse and carriages had more than a few wrinkles.
00:19Adam spent 60% plus of our budget working with the carriages. I was like, this sucks. I didn't feel good about it.
00:27At Accel, Randall and Rebecca worked well as a team. First, they sabotaged Capital Edge's plan by stealing megaphones that Ala and her team planned on using.
00:37No, those were ours. What do they look like?
00:40Uh, one-eyed crutches.
00:41No.
00:42Then, Randall blanketed the city with an army of wrapped temps.
00:46Get a free bottle of perfume from Shania Twain.
00:49Make sure you call 1-800-707.
00:52Call this number right now, you can have some free perfume sent to you for your girlfriend, your mom.
00:56And his big idea won him a third victory as project manager.
01:00Accel, you win.
01:03In the boardroom, Felicia was shaken up by Carolyn's criticism.
01:07There are five people remaining right now. I think by far the two of you are the weakest.
01:11Oh my gosh.
01:12I really do.
01:13You really do?
01:14I truly do.
01:16But I felt that Adam was responsible for the loss.
01:19Adam, you spent over half your budget on carriages that looked horrible and were ineffective.
01:24And therefore, Adam, you're fired.
01:29Four candidates are left. Who will be fired this week?
01:49Some people got to have it.
01:54Some people really need it.
01:58Listen to me, y'all.
01:59Do thangs, do thangs, do thangs, bad thangs, baby.
02:06Dollar bills, y'all.
02:08Come on, baby.
02:14Oh, money, dollar.
02:17I don't know that.
02:18Money.
02:21Give me a nickel, brother.
02:23Can you spell that?
02:26Money can drive some people out of their mind.
02:33No good, no good.
02:35Money.
02:36Money, money, money, money.
02:40Money.
02:51Who do you guys think is coming back?
02:53If anybody could have any insight, it would be you.
02:57On a personal level, I would much rather see Felicia walk through the door than Adam.
03:02You guys want to go sit over here? I want to see.
03:05I didn't let my friendship with Felicia affect what I had to say in the boardroom.
03:09Now, obviously, I want somebody I'm close to and somebody that I feel is a stronger player to come back, which is Felicia.
03:16Yes.
03:18Oh, my God.
03:32Wow.
03:33Welcome back.
03:34Thanks.
03:35Thanks very much.
03:37Brutal.
03:38You'd think coming out of that boardroom, you'd feel just elated to even be alive.
03:42But truthfully, when you've been told you're the weakest link, you almost want to go home.
03:46I mean, you're like, you're just devastated.
03:48It was dirty.
03:49It wasn't fun.
03:50Felicia, we're going to dinner.
03:52Okay.
03:53That sounds great.
03:54Yeah.
03:55I was shocked.
03:56I mean, I wasn't prepared for it.
03:57I'm so glad you're here, though.
03:59I can't take anger forward in this because all in, I've got to win.
04:02If all in, I don't win, I'm probably going home.
04:05I'm here to meet them, for us to meet them.
04:08But I wish I would have been more prepared.
04:10I didn't feel good.
04:11I was ready for my life.
04:12But I'm glad you're here.
04:13Yeah, okay.
04:14Get dressed.
04:15Let's go.
04:16Okay.
04:17Let's go.
04:18Let's do this.
04:26Randall, Olive, Felicia, and I went to dinner at Grand Central Station, and we were going to celebrate.
04:32To the final four.
04:33To the final four.
04:34It's outstanding to be in the final four, feel like I've almost made it, and that I've really accomplished a lot.
04:41So what do folks give up to be here?
04:43Anything?
04:44A lot.
04:45A lot?
04:46You know, I'm missing my 10-month-old, like, walking for the first time in his life.
04:52Yeah.
04:54Clearly, I've given up time with my wife.
04:56I mean, having been married a year isn't easy.
04:59It is a lovely dinner.
05:01But it would be more lovely if it was shared with company like my boyfriend or my friends.
05:06It would be great to actually be enjoying the night as opposed to sort of semi-enjoying it and also thinking about the fact that this is a competition.
05:14So, Randall, how do you feel being the only guy here?
05:16I know.
05:17Excel is completely decimated.
05:19Did you expect this?
05:20I don't think I would have anticipated that none of the other guys would make it to the final four.
05:24Dinner is nice, and we can socialize and hang out.
05:26But the fact is, Rebecca and I are out to crush Alaa and Felicia on this next task.
05:30No question.
05:31So let the games begin.
05:44Good morning.
05:45Good morning.
05:46It's Rowan in Mr. Trump's office.
05:47Mr. Trump is meeting with Microsoft executives at the NASDAQ Stock Exchange, and he wants you to be there at 9 a.m.
05:54Thank you very much.
05:57Well, I use a lot of Microsoft, and it works, so I'm very happy.
06:03Good.
06:04Glad to hear that.
06:09Well, there are the teams.
06:11Let's get going.
06:12Come on.
06:22Good morning.
06:23Morning.
06:24Morning.
06:25Welcome to week 11 of your 13-week job interview.
06:30As you can see, Bill will be replacing George this week.
06:34George is away on business.
06:36We're standing in the middle of the NASDAQ market site, the state-of-the-art digital broadcast studio for the NASDAQ stock market.
06:45The NASDAQ is the largest and fastest electronic stock market anywhere in the world.
06:51It's the home to over 3,000 top growth companies.
06:55The biggest is Microsoft.
06:57It's the worldwide leader in software and has a value of almost $300 billion.
07:04And I'd like to introduce two executives from Microsoft, Janice and Dustin.
07:09Today, you'll be working with Microsoft to promote an innovative service called Microsoft Office Live Meeting.
07:16Now, Dustin, could you explain what that is?
07:18Microsoft Office Live Meeting enables a large number of people to work on virtually any kind of document online simultaneously without the hassle of travel.
07:27For your next task, you'll make a 60-second promotional video about the power of Microsoft Office Live Meeting.
07:34You'll be given a professional camera crew and editor to help you.
07:38The team that makes the most creative and informative video, as judged by Dustin and Janice, wins.
07:44The losing team, back to the boardroom where somebody will be fired.
07:48Okay, go ahead. Good luck.
08:01I'd love to be project manager.
08:02Oh.
08:03I mean, I would like to be project manager.
08:05I know that it's a warranty. I want you to feel comfortable.
08:07I'm willing to step up and take this.
08:10You know what? All I'm interested in is winning.
08:12So do you want to be or are you stepping down?
08:13No, I'm more than happy to be. I'd love to be project manager.
08:16I'm the project manager because I feel like I have something to prove, but if we lose, I'm probably going home anyway.
08:21So I have nothing to do but gain.
08:23I need to make sure if you're taking it on, you feel like you can totally do this.
08:27Oh, absolutely.
08:28You're going to be my lead on video production, obviously, because you understand video editing and production.
08:32Okay, no changing, no going soft.
08:34I've got you. I'm good.
08:35I would really like to be the project manager on this task.
08:39I think it's something that we can both work together on, but I'd like to manage it.
08:42I became project manager because I knew it was do or die, and I knew that my teammate had the best record and I had the worst record.
08:49I'd like to get you a win.
08:51Thank you, Randall.
08:52You deserve a win.
08:53I think I do.
08:54We're going to get you a win.
08:55Good.
08:59Once we got our task, we went straight to meet our production crew.
09:03Nice to meet you. Sorry we had you guys wait for a little bit.
09:06I'll give you conceptually what we're going to do, and then we can kind of get feedback from you guys.
09:11The task was to create a 60-second video for Microsoft showcasing their new live meeting software,
09:17which enables you to collaborate with other people all over the world very simply,
09:21and has all these amazing tools in it that allow you to do everything you'd be able to do in a face-to-face meeting without all the traveling.
09:27So we're going to do some shots outside where we actually have her just boggled down working in suitcases.
09:33She's going to hail a cab as if she's going to the airport.
09:36We were going to shoot a couple of scenes of frustration, you know, traveling, paying a taxi cab.
09:43We want people to feel like, yeah, that could be me.
09:46I'm really frustrated. It takes me all that time, and I could just be meeting with people in Tokyo, Japan, wherever, over the Internet.
09:52I think she'll be primarily in the video. I'll direct a lot.
09:55She's going to come in and do some pieces of it, but I'll be in most of the scenes, actually changing and doing most of the stuff in the scenes.
10:01I'm a better actress than Alla, so I told Alla to take the director role.
10:05That was a tough decision because being an actress is a subordinate position to being a director.
10:10I mean, I was the project manager. I didn't want someone else having all the creative control.
10:14Just all I can tell you is be careful on the directing thing, like make sure it's collaborative all the way along.
10:18I don't mind doing the performance.
10:20I have no issues. I have no issues.
10:21I don't mind doing the performance.
10:22I just want to get, I want to get going.
10:24You know what I'm saying?
10:25Yeah.
10:26But just be careful. You know, I want to have direction in it as well, and realize I'm taking a back seat and letting you take a front seat in the roles.
10:31Do you not want me to do just some?
10:32No, I do want you to give me a second pair of eyes, but, you know, I want to have direction in it as well.
10:36Felicia wants me to lead and give input and direct, but for us to win, she needs to let go of her insecurities.
10:43Just let me direct and edit and bring this thing to a close, or, you know, we're going to butt heads.
10:48There's no claim to fame here. I'm not an actress.
10:51I'll do the best I can because I believe I may be better at it than you are.
10:54And if you start coaching me and frustrating me, it's going to be over.
10:58I think it's very difficult for Felicia to be the leader with Alla on her team, because Alla is such a strong woman that it's almost impossible for Felicia to try to be the leader with her in the group.
11:08I just know we need to get, like, on, you know.
11:10Yeah, I want there to be a disparate difference between how you're doing.
11:12Francis, seriously, can we go shoot the cap scene and then we'll go?
11:14Are they set up downstairs?
11:16I don't know. We haven't given them any direction where to set up.
11:18Felicia doesn't want me to outshine her performance.
11:22I mean, our goal is to win this task.
11:24I'm going to keep stepping up, whether she likes it or not.
11:27I mean, I don't take a back seat.
11:42The way I'm going to have them shoot it is both over the shoulder and then also up front in.
11:47And I think we'll use some mix of that once we go into editing.
11:50This task was to create a 60-second video for a Microsoft Office Live meeting.
11:55Our concept was to show this guy in an office late at night trying to get all of these materials together,
12:01trying to catch a flight, and then on the flip side, showing how this guy's life would be made easier through live meeting.
12:08I'm Rebecca. Nice to meet you, Josh.
12:10Rebecca.
12:11After we settled on our concept, we realized that we were going to need actors for our video.
12:15So I ran through a long list of agencies and finally found one that could get us actors on a very short time frame,
12:20which is easier said than done.
12:22Okay, think about it like you have to get these files.
12:25If you don't get the files for the presentation, you're totally screwed.
12:30Okay, action.
12:32Hey, it's Jeff. I need you to send me those files for the meeting tomorrow.
12:36Okay, stop. Just something to convey that you're in charge here. Let's roll.
12:42It's Jeff. I absolutely need those files for the meeting tomorrow.
12:45Stop. Just start off from the beginning. A little more urgent. And roll.
12:50Alright, I need these like five minutes ago, so just let me know when you get them.
12:54Stop. That's enough.
12:56Rebecca, let's be with you for five seconds.
12:59Sure.
13:01Do you feel like he brought the right kind of energy?
13:05No.
13:06If our actor's stiff, then people are going to look at him like, blah.
13:09And then they're not going to have any response to him as a compelling representative of the pain that they should be feeling.
13:14We've taken up half an hour with that shot.
13:18I hate making a call like this, because I didn't like it.
13:21Okay. I think right now Rebecca is worried.
13:25I think she's feeling the pressure of what really is her last opportunity to get a win as a project manager.
13:31I would prefer that you take the guy's role. We can go back to the desk and have you doing it.
13:38I can do it.
13:40Okay, then let's do that.
13:41Alright, then let's do that.
13:42Okay.
13:43Let's do it.
13:44It felt like we were under the gun, just by virtue of the fact that we had to shoot more footage than we expected.
13:49But at the same time, we had to get to the editing room to put that time in to do the best video.
13:53And roll.
13:54Look, I've got a flight to catch in three hours, so please send it fast, okay?
13:58Gosh, I hate waiting for these large files.
14:01Yep.
14:04I have to get the frustration. You have to capture that moment.
14:09Perfect.
14:10No, you're not putting me in pain.
14:12Now I'm listening to what Ola says, and I'm making sure that I'm heard as well.
14:15I don't think we can win unless we do this as a team.
14:17Ola's the type of person that doesn't feel comfortable with not having creative control.
14:21Are you going to direct?
14:22Well, she's going to direct.
14:25She's not going to be able to see what's going on, so you're going to have to direct her.
14:29It's a collaborative effort.
14:31It's a collaborative effort.
14:32Do you want me to do this?
14:33No, it's fine.
14:34I'm more than happy to jump in.
14:35No, it's fine. I'm fine with it. I'll be fine with it.
14:37You know, I'm fine with it.
14:39Okay, then let's do it.
14:40When you do that, just remember, if you're acting, she's directing.
14:43If you're acting, she's directing.
14:45It's a collaborative effort, but you need to divide and conquer.
14:49No, no, no. I'm the actress. You're the director.
14:51Look it, look it, look it.
14:52I'm the actress. Just don't be a control horse.
14:54Okay.
14:55This is not Felicia that I've known.
14:57Like, she's gone away.
14:58This is somebody who is insecure and cannot make decisions and has been frazzled the entire task.
15:04Ready?
15:05Ola, you ready?
15:06Yes, yes.
15:08Okay, I got speed.
15:12No, no, no. Bad. I didn't see her face.
15:15You want that shot again? How did it look?
15:17It looked terrible.
15:18Ola's trying to steer the ship and take over the task.
15:20Stop right there, Felicia. Take it out one second.
15:23I'm the project manager on the task. Ola is not.
15:26You know, it's my butt on the line, not Ola's.
15:28Hey, Felicia, we can't shoot on that side, so you need to come over here.
15:31He's coming. Relax.
15:32He is? Okay.
15:33He's going to be on this side.
15:34Film her now, too, running up to the cab. This is perfect.
15:37He just got out of the cab right here.
15:38No, a completely different shot. We don't know what they've got, so I just want to get as much as we can.
15:43You give me a task, I get it done, and I get it done with a win.
15:45If you keep pushing me back and stopping me in every direction, I'm going to feel my hands are tied.
15:51That's suicidal. Why would you do that?
15:53So I'll walk from the back of the cab again, and we'll do it again right here.
15:57No, we'll segment it together. That's where editing comes in. Don't even worry.
16:01We're getting that shot, and we're done with this.
16:03Okay.
16:08We're done.
16:23After we were done shooting our video, we headed over to actually edit the video and put it together.
16:28Alla knows what she's doing. She's really going to have the direction on this.
16:31Okay.
16:32She knows what she's doing, and she's going to take the lead.
16:34Alla is one of those people that either you give her everything or she'll take nothing.
16:37You know, she doesn't partly contribute.
16:39I said, okay, if I'm going to get something great out of Alla, I'm going to have to let her go,
16:42like not worry about who's in control, not worry about looking good to Mr. Trump.
16:46I mean, I have to worry about winning at this point, and that's all I have to worry about.
16:49Sixty seconds is when we're going to hit.
16:51I'm worried about time. I think that you have a lot more content than you have time allocated.
16:57How much do you think we have?
17:00This is probably two and a half minutes of material.
17:08Well, let's go to plan B.
17:10What are you proposing to do?
17:11Just put in there and verbally relay the message with words.
17:14So a voiceover? Have me voiceover?
17:16No.
17:17Oh, you're just saying with text?
17:18Yeah.
17:19Okay, try this one.
17:21Is that faster?
17:23Yeah.
17:24You can make it a little bit faster.
17:25I can do whatever you want.
17:28How's that?
17:29That's good, and we can even make it faster later on.
17:31Video to still, tapped out, video to still.
17:34We have footage that freezes, right?
17:36Right.
17:37We have tired footage freezes, frustrated footage freezes.
17:40And basically say, is this you right now?
17:43Well, you finally have a solution to your problems.
17:46Okay.
17:47I feel that at the eleventh hour I've got to brainstorm.
17:53What? We'll put you in the middle.
17:55I feel like we hit the educational, demonstrational point of this whole exercise,
18:00and I feel it. I feel good.
18:02You know what? Let's combine the frame.
18:03Just right away bring in share, create, and collaborate on the bottom.
18:07Those final little touches really brought the project to where it should have been.
18:11It always is great to see your thoughts and ideas come to life.
18:19Oh, that's not bad.
18:21Done.
18:24It should be live meeting the first cut into it.
18:27Okay.
18:28Josh, I hate waiting for these large files.
18:30I like that.
18:31Please, just make it fast.
18:34So good.
18:35At the last minute I ended up putting Randall and I in the video,
18:38and I feel really good about how it's all coming together.
18:42Good deal.
18:43Good deal.
18:45Hello.
18:46We just finished our video.
18:48Got your own actress there, huh?
18:49We originally had had two actors playing the roles that Randall and I played,
18:53and the actors that we hired were not necessarily up to par with where we wanted them to be,
18:59so we tried to fill in and be actors for a day.
19:02Oh, let's see.
19:05Where is everybody? We were expecting at least 40 people.
19:08I know. Delays out of the Chicago airport.
19:10Learn how to conduct your business the better way by visiting livemeeting.com.
19:17I saw Excel's video, and I think they did a very good job.
19:21The one thing I like about Excel's video is that it actually tells a story.
19:26How long did that take you?
19:27Up until a moment ago.
19:30Well, thanks.
19:31All right.
19:38Does it seem like it didn't take time to produce?
19:42I thought that was just a generic question.
19:45Carolyn freaked me out because she asked us how much time it took to create our video,
19:50and to me, somebody who asks how much time it takes to create your video,
19:56in my opinion, means they're assuming that you didn't spend a lot of time creating your video.
20:01I liked it before she said how long did that take you.
20:05I don't think there's anything behind that question.
20:07I think you're getting neurotic on me.
20:09Let that question float off your shoulder.
20:11Trust me.
20:14All right.
20:22Family is very important in business.
20:24Over the years, I've seen many very wealthy people.
20:27They're successful, they've got a lot going, they're not necessarily happy.
20:31Willard, what do you want tonight?
20:33Chicken parmesan?
20:36Ah, with meat sauce.
20:39Okay, Angel, I'll take care of it.
20:41The people that are the happiest and the most content are the ones with good family.
20:46Okay, I'll get you some spaghetti, baby.
20:48You are so lucky to be married to me.
20:49Goodbye, honey.
20:50Bye, baby.
21:00I'm proud of what we produced.
21:01I really am.
21:04I really want this win for Rebecca.
21:05I think she deserves it.
21:06She's been my teammate for three tasks, and I think she's earned it.
21:09She's been through a lot here.
21:11Excel, come on in.
21:17Hi.
21:18How are you?
21:19Good.
21:20Nice to see you again.
21:21Good to see you.
21:22Nice to see you again.

21:40Hey, it's John.
21:41Listen, I need that presentation right away.
21:43It's too big to send over email, so I'm trying to cut it down.
21:45I have a flight to catch in three hours, so please just make it fast.
21:50Gosh, I hate waiting for these large files.
21:57Where is everybody?
21:58We were expecting at least 40 people.
22:00I know.
22:01Delays out of the Chicago airport.
22:02Most people didn't even make it on a flight.
22:04Oh, my goodness.

22:26So what's the pain from Live Meeting?
22:28It's saving time.
22:29It's helping to eliminate travel.
22:31It's improving the bottom line.
22:34That's great.
22:35We'll call you guys back in.
22:36I appreciate the effort you put into this.
22:37I really appreciate it.
22:40Hi, Rona.
22:41I'm on my way to Microsoft to meet with the teams.
22:43Hold all of my calls.
22:50Hello.
22:51How are you?
22:52Hi.
22:54First of all, thank you very, very much for giving us this opportunity.
22:59We wanted to evoke emotion and definitely integrate the product into this.
23:03And I think we would be doing you a great disservice if we didn't accomplish that goal with our video.
23:09Great.

23:57That's an interesting execution.
23:59Well, I think we definitely wanted to hit the emotional factor, feeling that frustration.
24:03And we wanted people to put themselves in our shoes and go, oh my gosh, I have to have this product.
24:09Well, I think that was a very interesting piece of work that you pulled together.
24:12We appreciate all your efforts.
24:14We'll be pulling you back in in a few minutes.
24:15Thank you so much.
24:16Okay.
24:22Overall, I think it was, for a first-time execution with the limited time frame they had, it was a good first effort, without a doubt.
24:28They both worked very, very hard.
24:29It's very clear.
24:30They did a lot in their short window of time.
24:32Hi, Janice.
24:33Hi, Dustin.
24:34Hi.
24:35How are you?
24:36Hello.
24:37Nice seeing you.
24:38Good to see you.
24:39Good to see you again.
24:40How did they do?
24:41They did well.
24:42They did well.
24:43They worked hard.
24:44Talented, right?
24:45Yes, absolutely.
24:46Some really, really good talent.
24:47Okay.
24:48Well, let's bring them in.
24:49Great.
24:50Excel, Capital Edge, come on in.
24:58Okay.
24:59You've been asked to create a promotional video for Microsoft Office live meeting.
25:05How do you think you did?
25:06Randall?
25:07I think we did very well, Mr. Trump.
25:09Rebecca Astaire is our project manager.
25:11Was she good?
25:12Very good.
25:13What do you think?
25:14Felicia?
25:15I think we did very well at capturing what they requested of us.
25:18Ala?
25:19I think we did really well, Mr. Trump.
25:23Janice, how did Excel do?
25:25They did a good job.
25:26I really liked the storyline approach, and we really felt that you showed how people's lives will change
25:33when they incorporate this into their business world.
25:36Capital Edge did a very good job with a strong call to action, certainly in their video,
25:41but there were a few elements that were a little more challenging.
25:44I think their storyline was a little more difficult to actually follow.
25:47It didn't hold my attention.
25:48There was so much going on, it was hard for me to follow what you were trying to say.
25:52Yeah.
25:53They tended to rely more on visuals that we had to read,
25:55as opposed to actually showing the improvements that we were actually bringing to people with characters.
26:01And therefore, we really felt that the clear winner in this case was Excel.
26:07Congratulations.
26:08Clear winner.
26:10Excel, congratulations.
26:13Okay, Excel, after working so hard over the last 11 weeks,
26:17I'm going to give you an opportunity to relax before your next task.
26:21For your reward, tomorrow morning, you're going to take a sail around Manhattan on the Shearwater.
26:27It's an 82-foot schooner built in the 20s.
26:30It's truly a classic.
26:32You'll circle New York and enjoy the city's beautiful skyline from the water.
26:36And you know, if you go on to bigger and better things and make a lot of money,
26:40you'll have your own yacht someday, possibly, if that's what you choose.
26:43Okay?
26:44Okay.
26:45Ala, Felicia, I'll see you in the boardroom.
26:48Somebody will be fired.
26:51Okay.
27:03I've been through hell and back in my life.
27:05Hell.
27:07And it's a tough impasse for me to be at because I want to be here so badly.
27:15Right.
27:16I think the loss definitely made Felicia desperate and so pathetic.
27:20She knows she can't say that she's a stronger player.
27:23She can't say, well, I'm more qualified, I've performed better, I've done this, I'm more successful.
27:28She doesn't have that against me.
27:29She loses.
27:30I mean, I believe in myself.
27:31I know I'm great.
27:32I know I deserve to be here.
27:35We'll be fine tomorrow.
27:37I'm not looking forward to it, but we'll be fine.
27:40I actually, like, look down on people who, you know, get depressed.
27:43I don't relate to that kind of mentality.
27:46All I can do is just sit there and laugh.
27:48I think Felicia is definitely destined to be done.
28:05Good morning.
28:06How are you?
28:07Excellent.
28:08How are you?
28:09I'm great.
28:10I'm Rebecca.
28:11Rebecca.
28:12I'm Jeremy.
28:13Nice to meet you, Jeremy.
28:14How are you?
28:15Randall.
28:16Randall.
28:17I was so excited when we won, because there was no way around it.
28:19I had to be a project manager on this task, and I had to win.
28:22And all of a sudden, for me, it was like, finally, I got what I need.
28:27We just want to welcome you aboard Shearwater.
28:29Thank you very much.
28:30To Shearwater.
28:31Thanks, Matt.
28:32Cheers.
28:36Well, maybe you can even pitch in and pull some lines.
28:38We'll see.
28:39I think both Randall and I will look forward to relaxing today.
28:42Sure.
28:43Enjoying the scenery.
28:44That's right.
28:45That's right.
28:47We have our two extra passengers here.
28:52Hi, honey.
28:53Hi, sweetie.
28:56Hi.
28:57We turned around, only to find Zahara, Randall's wife, and Matt, my boyfriend.
29:09I got to see my wife.
29:12I got to see her, and to hug her, and to kiss her.
29:15I mean, it was really special.
29:17Oh, my goodness.
29:18So good to see you.
29:23It's good to see you.
29:24It's good to see you, too.
29:42Every time you've entered a striking distance, you get struck.
29:47It's true.
29:48It's about to get her done.
29:50It was wonderful to see Matt.
29:52He is the person who loves me, whether I'm Mr. Trump's apprentice or not.
29:58And it was just wonderful to see a familiar face and to be able to spend time with him.
30:04Well, I'm glad we won.
30:06I know.
30:07I'm glad we won.
30:08I know.
30:09I had an opportunity to see her.
30:11I know.
30:12You would have, Matt, obviously, had to come back and say,
30:14Oh, I saw my wife.
30:15Oh, my gosh.
30:16I would have been vexed.
30:17That's your liberty off in the distance.
30:21Family is very important.
30:22You know, seeing my wife was a reminder of all that I've left to be here.
30:27I'm going to enjoy this moment.
30:28I'm going to savor it.
30:30Soon, I will need to get my game face right back on, because the city never sleeps.
30:35This process isn't over until it's over.
30:50It's tough.
30:51Today, I have to go into that boardroom with my friend.
30:54You know?
30:55I just don't envy your situation.
30:57I mean, given the relationship you have with Alla.
30:59It's a rough situation to be in, because our friendship has been since day one.
31:03Literally, past two, we sat down and said,
31:06We're going to be in the final four.
31:08I like Alla very much.
31:10I think she's very grounded.
31:11I think she's very honest.
31:13But she still cares for people.
31:14She doesn't have to be, you know, a cold-hearted bitch.
31:17She is someone that's very warm.
31:19I don't want to have a defeatist attitude.
31:20I'm still going to defend certain decisions that I made.
31:23But I don't want it to become this personal bloodbath in that boardroom.
31:28I'll be honest about everything.
31:30But I want to be fair and just and still feeling good for us.
31:33Do you know what I mean?
31:35I will fight with everything I've got.
31:37I want this, and I will not stop until I get it.
31:41I think it will be a lot easier on Felicia as a person
31:44to just accept the fact that she failed
31:47and just pack it up and go home with her head up high.
31:51And if she starts fighting, she will definitely not be going home with her head up high.
31:54I'll destroy her.
32:00Hi.
32:01Hi.
32:02Go straight in, please.
32:31I know you hate to lose, Alla.
32:33You hate to lose, don't you?
32:34I do.
32:35Felicia, why were you the project manager?
32:37I felt I had something to prove to Carolyn and to you and to Bill.
32:42But I heard from Bill that Alla was very difficult for you.
32:45She was difficult for me.
32:46Is that because she's difficult and impossible for anybody or just for you?
32:49Were you not strong enough to lead her?
32:51No, I think it was that right from the start we were clashing heads on our ideas.
32:55Mr. Trump, if I may interject,
32:57I've had an incredible record with every PM that's been through every task.
33:01But you were very difficult for Felicia.
33:03I do not believe so, sir.
33:04I think Felicia went into this task with the wrong focus.
33:08Her focus was not to be outshined by my performance.
33:12That's not true.
33:13She did not focus.
33:14Felicia, all you cared about is to outshine me on this task.
33:18You didn't care about the finish line.
33:20That's not true.
33:21And that's where you lost your focus from the beginning.
33:23She would give me control and she would literally put brakes on me.
33:26She would tell me something to do, but then when I was doing it too well,
33:29she would tell me to stop being so good at it.
33:31I can't imagine somebody would say that.
33:33Why would Felicia do that?
33:34Why don't you tell him what you did, sir?
33:36Okay, when Bill came into the room I was very frustrated
33:38because you came in and said,
33:39I want this, I want this, this is what I see, I, I, I.
33:42So I said, listen, just make sure that we're a team on this.
33:45You said, don't make me look bad.
33:47I didn't say don't make me look bad.
33:48Yes, you did.
33:49I said,
33:50When I'm given a task and I'm told, do this,
33:52of course I embrace and I do my best job at whatever my task is.
33:56Did you feel you were the leader on this task?
33:58I did not feel that way, Carolyn, at all.
34:00Obviously neither did she.
34:02That's why you lost, because there's no leadership here.
34:04She wouldn't let me lead.
34:05She wouldn't let me be subordinate.
34:06That's not true.
34:07Do you take any type of responsibility for this failure?
34:09Absolutely.
34:10I said it was a collaborative effort.
34:12We truly sat down all night, Carolyn, we did this together.
34:15It was a collaborative effort.
34:17We truly sat down all night, Carolyn, we did this together.
34:20It was literally one sentence to the next, one graph to the next.
34:23We did it together.
34:24So what makes you better than Felicia on this task?
34:25What makes Felicia better than you on this task?
34:26That's what we're trying to figure out.
34:27She lost focus.
34:28She lost control of the whole task.
34:30I lost control of you.
34:31And just like, that is not true.
34:33Felicia did not give you a hundred percent.
34:35You put me up to the task.
34:36I gave you 100 percent.
34:38Did you not tell me that?
34:39Yes, you did.
34:40Yes.
34:41So why are you saying that you lost control of me?
34:42Because here's what happened.
34:43When we started this task, okay, I said I need to stand up and be PM.
34:46But when I would step up and take that responsibility, I was just getting this.
34:49I wasn't getting Allah.
34:50That is so untrue.
34:51Allah is very creative.
34:53She can lay it all on the table, but she has to be in a leading role to do that.
34:57And so I felt like we weren't going to win if we were like this.
35:00And truly, all I cared about during this entire task was winning.
35:03If we won, I wouldn't be here right now.
35:05Felicia, you don't think that Allah is manageable, do you?
35:08I think she's very difficult to manage.
35:10Felicia, have I ever given you a problem on any other task?
35:13But you are difficult.
35:14There was a constant power struggle.
35:16My parents sent me to military academy.
35:18They said I was very difficult, okay?
35:20I disagreed with them, but, you know, they were probably right.
35:22But I will say, Allah, you were the director.
35:24And the director did not do a very good job.
35:26She did not assign me the directing role, Mr. Trump.
35:28If she would have just told me, Allah, take control of directing.
35:31And were you the director, Allah, were you the director?
35:34Let's get it.
35:35Were you the director?
35:36During the video, not during the editing, Mr. Trump.
35:38And she was the actress?
35:39She was the actress.
35:40Even though I did say I'll do either one.
35:42It was very difficult to take a subordinate role
35:44in somewhere where I wanted to really leave.
35:47Why would you take a subordinate role?
35:49You're the project manager.
35:50Is that weakness or is that just a poor decision?
35:52No, I think it was a poor decision.
35:53I think at that time, all I wanted to do was win.
35:56I knew that if we won, we wouldn't be in this boardroom right now.
35:59I'd like to see your video, okay?
36:00Sure, sure.
36:03Share.
36:04Create.

36:19You see, I'm not a big computer person.
36:22I love buildings, okay?
36:24But to me, that doesn't mean...
36:26I don't know what it means.
36:28It was just too much information in a small amount of time.
36:30I think your biggest mistake, and I think the primary reason
36:33why you guys lost this task, was changing the video.
36:36You put all these words in there that were popping up on the screen.
36:39That was a catastrophic mistake, in my opinion.
36:43Who decided to chop the video?
36:44Was that your idea?
36:45No, it was Alla's idea.
36:46Are you kidding me?
36:47To chop up the video?
36:49Felicia, shame on you.
36:51I'm sorry, shame on you.
36:52That was not my idea.
36:53Alla wanted the text in there.
36:55I'm just telling the truth.
36:56I've already come up here and stated that it wasn't...
36:58Wow.
36:59That's the truth.
37:00Who cut it up?
37:01Alla cut it up.
37:02I can't make one move without you overseeing it, interjecting.
37:05But I thought she wasn't a leader.
37:07I thought she didn't have that power.
37:09She wouldn't let me take control.
37:10She said, please work on the video, but then every second I would try to make a change.
37:14I would try to interject a word, delete.
37:15So who do you think really decided to put that much text in the video?
37:19We did it together, Mr. Trump, and that's the reality.
37:21We did it together.
37:22Are you denying that, Felicia?
37:24I'm saying that that was your one big thing you wanted in the video.
37:27Felicia, did you get outdone by Alla?
37:30I don't think one person's better than the other.
37:32I think we each have strengths.
37:33I think Alla's extremely strong in taking a task and embracing it and executing it.
37:38But the truth of the matter is, when it came down to the punchline, this was my task.
37:43I mean, I told Alla before we went into this task, I want to be PM.
37:46I don't care what it is.
37:48I have to be PM on this task.
37:50I respect that, though.
37:51And if I may say something to that as well, she said that originally then she backpedaled
37:55and then asked me if I wanted to do it.
37:57Now, wait a minute.
37:58Let me explain to you what happened, Felicia.
37:59Why do you say that?
38:00Why do you say that?
38:01No, but you feel this needs a steamroll over people, and it's not necessary.
38:05Okay, Felicia.
38:06It's really not necessary.
38:07But I tell the truth.
38:08You need to tell the truth and the full story.
38:09Okay, and so do you.
38:10But I think she is truthful, Alla.
38:12I really do.
38:13I think she's being overpowered by you, but I think she's truthful.
38:16And I think she's being quite complimentary to you.
38:18And you're knocking her down.
38:19She's not telling the whole truth.
38:20She's being so nice to you, and you are just killing her.
38:23I'm not trying to kill her.
38:24I'm just trying to heal.
38:25I almost think if you would have just left her alone, she would have probably said,
38:28I should fire her.
38:33Felicia, I have to ask you.
38:34Are you giving up?
38:35I'm not giving up at all.
38:36I'm not giving up.
38:37I want to be here.
38:40Worse than anything.
38:41But I don't feel that on this task, I did what I came here to do.
38:45And I'm very frustrated with myself, my performance.
38:49Felicia, in all honesty, you have to agree.
38:50When we, when you stop.
38:51Why don't you just stop?
38:52Let me just stop.
38:53No, no, no.
38:54Alla.
38:55Alla.
38:56Alla.
38:57I mean, she's a wonderful person.
38:58She's a wonderful woman.
38:59I was always a good person.
39:00You got to stop browbeating her.
39:03Felicia, do you really believe you're tough enough to work in New York?
39:07Yes, absolutely, I do.
39:08By the way, Alla, I have no doubt about it.
39:10You are tough enough, okay?
39:11Yes, you said.
39:12But Felicia, you're not strong enough to be here.
39:16You're just not strong enough.
39:18You're lovely.
39:19You're smart.
39:20You have so many things going, but you're not strong enough for this city.
39:25Felicia, you're fired.
39:28Sit, Alla.
39:33Alla, the fact is, you're very, very hard to manage.
39:37Very, very difficult to manage, number one.
39:39Number two, you were the director of a disaster.
39:42Alla, you're fired.
39:52I'm sorry I let you down.
39:57I'm sorry.
40:08Both deserve to be fired, but it was sort of a little difficult.
40:15Felicia can't lead, and Alla can't be led.
40:17Hands down.
40:18Well, both just kept talking about each other's mistakes.
40:21It was very hard to pick one.
40:23Okay, now for something pleasant.
40:24I'm going to go back and tell Randall and Rebecca that they're the final two.
40:54I'm going to go back and tell Randall and Rebecca that they're the final two.
41:14At the end of the day, I didn't perform, but that is not the best that I have to offer.
41:19It's unfortunate that that was my last task.
41:21Mr. Trump didn't say that I'm a terrible leader.
41:24He just feels that there are very few people out there that can lead me.
41:28People have said that I've been difficult to lead or challenging to lead.
41:33Maybe they were just weak themselves.
41:35I can be led by the right leader.
41:37That's all I can say.
