00:00In northern Lebanon, an Israeli air attack on the Christian-majority town of Aitou left
00:12at least 21 people killed.
00:18The government of Haiti denounces the discriminatory deportations carried out by the Dominican
00:22Republic and requests a halt to such deportations.
00:29And the Chinese government accused the United States government Monday of creating the hacker
00:34group Voltaifun to spread false information and incriminate the Asian nation.
00:44Hello and welcome to From the South, I'm Alejandra Garcia from Telesur Studios in Havana, Cuba.
00:48We begin with the news.
00:59In northern Lebanon, at least 21 people have been killed in an Israeli air attack on the
01:12Christian-majority town of Aitou in the region of Zagarta.
01:16The death toll was confirmed by the Lebanese Red Cross after an early report by the country's
01:21health ministry had initially informed nine deaths.
01:24In the aftermath of the strike that hit a residential building, Red Cross volunteers
01:29searched for survivors in the rubble as ambulances evacuated several wounded.
01:35Israeli strikes on the country have mainly been concentrated in southern areas where
01:39the Zionist regime claims Hezbollah built its power base.
01:43In this regard, according to Lebanese state media, the attack marks the first time the
01:47area was hit by the Israeli army in a year of hostilities and its target remains unclear.
01:59The Israeli regime committed four new massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip
02:03in the last few hours, leaving more than 60 people dead.
02:07Health officials informed that several victims are still under the rubble and scattered on
02:11the streets and warned that the death toll could rise.
02:14They also reported a total of 220 wounded from these recent massacres as the Zionist
02:20regime continues its aggression that has killed more than 42,300 Palestinians since the October
02:282023 onslaught.
02:30In this context, according to the estimates of the medical authorities, about 10,000 people
02:35are still missing under the rubble and are yet to be rescued.
02:44In addition, over 50 Palestinians have been arrested by the Israeli regime in the occupied
02:49West Bank in the last 24 hours.
02:51The increase in arrests is concentrated in the governorates of Bethlehem and Jenin, as
02:56well as in other Palestinian localities.
02:59In this regard, the Palestinian Prisoners' Society and the Committee for the Affairs
03:03of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners denounced that the Israeli occupation is advancing its aggressions
03:08during detentions by subjecting the victims and their families to harassment and threats.
03:18In Cuba, people marched on Monday to condemn the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli government
03:24for more than a year against the Palestinian population and other Middle East tensions.
03:29This way, the demonstration called by the Kemenite Youth Union of the Caribbean country
03:34denounced the complicity of the United States in the Zionist onslaught that has cost more
03:38than 42,000 deaths in the Gaza Strip, most of them women and children, and more than
03:432,000 in Lebanon.
03:45In the capital, Havana, the participants marched from the Mardi Forge to the Anti-Imperialist
03:50Tribune.
03:51In the rest of the country, there were open tribunes to demand the end, without conditions
03:57or delays, of the Israeli escalation in the Middle East.
04:14Those who choose silence, we know from our revolutionary struggle that silence before
04:18pressure means complicity and we, the Cuban people, the Cuban youth, are not accomplices
04:23of this act.
04:24We are not accomplices of terrorism as long as the Zionist state of Israel together with
04:28the government of the United States continue tearing innocents in Palestine, Lebanon,
04:33Syria, Yemen.
04:34Our dreams and our actions must be multiplied in our schools.
04:37We are talking about the genocide that is being committed today.
04:40We are getting closer to the reality of the Palestinian children and teenagers who only
04:45dream of seeing their parents and siblings.
04:47The more we know about the Palestinian reality, the more we are committed and the more we
04:51are driven to continue supporting it.
04:58In this context, the student from Antigua and Barbuda at the Latin American School of
05:02Medicine in Cuba, Joshua McCorshin, addressed the importance of this demonstration in support
05:08of the Palestinian people.
05:10So today we've got it here to march, to represent in commemoration of the first anniversary
05:16of the war against Palestine.
05:20This march, all of us got it here standing in solidarity with Palestine because we understand
05:24that what is occurring should not happen to anyone in the world and we want to say that
05:28how despite them being a country, they have representation all over the world.
05:32Because we have people here from different parts of the world.
05:35Myself, I'm from Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean.
05:38We have people here from South America, from Asia, from Africa, from all over the world.

13:57It inserted strings in several languages, such as Chinese, to cheat the traceability

14:05It is worth noting that Guam, the place that the United States claimed to be the victim
