00:00What's up guys so the next phone we have is the Galaxy S10e this was a phone that's highly
00:05requested by you guys and I don't make a ton of videos about this phone anymore simply because
00:11you know it's a much older phone now and it's not getting security updates but you guys really
00:16wanted to see this one and I'm just picking the phone up and using it again today it is
00:21you know such a fantastic device I was really surprised at just how fast this phone actually
00:26is and not just with opening applications actually we're just playing games and stuff
00:30in general I was really surprised by that the snapdragon 855 chip even in 2024
00:36it's doing a fantastic job and I kind of wanted to touch on why these smaller phones aren't really
00:42selling and when I go back and look at the S10e's reviews one of the things that you'll see like
00:50the biggest problem with this phone was the battery life so if we like look at the cons here
00:56battery life is so so that was like one of the main complaints if you keep you know looking at
01:01the reviews here the critic reviews but you can see the phone itself is scoring pretty high so
01:054 out of 5, 8 out of 10, 4.5, 8.9 this was a fantastic phone you know when it first came
01:13out especially for people with you know who like compact phones you got smaller hands it's extremely
01:18comfortable but from the data shows it's a very a small amount of people because even if you have
01:27good battery life like with the iPhone I believe it was a 13 mini even if you offer good battery
01:32life with a compact size people still didn't buy it so that's why Apple you know pretty much scrapped
01:38it and they put the plus on there and Samsung just got rid of it you know they got rid of this and
01:43got rid of it so it must you know have not been selling well most compact phones don't really
01:47sell that well the last compact flagship phone that we have is the Asus Zenfone 9 and that's
01:54a fantastic phone but again how long is Asus going to make that so it kind of has like
01:58compact phones kind of have like this small little code following I guess but yeah a lot of people
02:04really it's not the battery life it really comes down to the bigger display here now one of the
02:08first things I wanted to see with this phone was how well could this phone game has it really
02:13slowed down when it comes to gaming and it's still a phenomenal gaming phone even with the
02:19snapdragon 855 chip and I've never been able to try the xenos model but this phone it's running
02:27android 12 one ui 4.1 snapdragon 855 and then we also have 128 gigs of internal storage and 6 gigs
02:34of ram and this phone also has sd card support so the cool thing about the s10 series when it first
02:40came out is that this was sort of like samsung before they started like cutting stuff out to
02:47sell you up on stuff so you know take the headphone jack away sell you up on earbuds
02:52take the sd card away sell you up on higher configuration model basically you know following
02:57the the whole apple method right uh you know selling people up making people spend extra money
03:04um but as far as the gaming on here goes man this thing is crazy smooth guys so i'm really impressed
03:12and what's funny is you can find these for a hundred dollars right you can find an s10e for
03:17a hundred dollars and I would just use this like if you're on a budget you could easily use this
03:21as like a little mini gaming phone because these are like I said you know 114 dollars but you can
03:28see we're still playing at hdr extreme easily playing pubg and I have not had this phone really
03:34stutter at all too and I'll show you guys the phone you can pretty much pay you know 100 bucks
03:41for a very good condition one and yeah this could make a really good backup phone as well too I
03:46remember taking it to cs with me and I'm just having like a big phone and then kind of like a
03:51smaller phone um is also really nice I noticed you just have less weight on your in your pockets and
03:57stuff like that just less room you know taking up you don't feel like you're carrying around two big
04:02heavy phones um but yeah the snapdragon 855 chip on this phone is still blazing fast guys I was
04:09really surprised by just how fast this thing is now this phone has a 5.8 inch display and like I
04:18said especially for someone like me who has kind of like smaller hands um this thing is just crazy
04:24comfortable guys it is really comfortable uh to hold especially you have those you know curved
04:30edges on here it just makes for a really comfortable device being small you can easily
04:34kind of you know reach the corners of the screen uh really well the display itself is still really
04:40good looking as well as the dynamic amoled display it's hdr 10 plus as well too and it also is a 1080p
04:46display 438 for the ppi completely flat panel as well too and of course we got the cool little
04:54punch hole up here which you can put some really cool wallpapers on um but yeah guys the display on
05:00here is actually still really good um I'm just really impressed with the panel on here still
05:06has that really nice vibrant color and doesn't look outdated at all only thing you can say that's
05:11really outdated about the display itself is that it's not any type of 90 hertz or 120 hertz um
05:18but besides that it's a pretty smooth 60 hertz panel so it's not that big of a deal actually
05:24um but yeah guys really really impressive panel for 2024 being you know such an older phone I mean
05:30this thing came out in 2019 it still feels really really fresh all right so if we take a look at the
05:36hardware uh the hardware still looks pretty good on the s10e it does pick up smudges and fingerprints
05:42really easily because it's a glossy back but I actually think the s10s series design has aged
05:48much better than the s20 series now that I'm looking at this phone I actually just think
05:53these phones actually look better um yeah so let me know what you guys think about that um but what's
05:58cool about these phones is you have the headphone jack on here like I said sd card support uh this
06:03one in particular has a physical fingerprint scanner which they did this to save money and a
06:08lot of people thought this was an inferior way but I actually think this feels much more natural
06:12than a in-display fingerprint sensor since your fingers already sit on here I just wish they
06:18brought it down a little bit to like right here where your hands kind of naturally rest instead
06:22of kind of putting it all the way up top up here but other than that I think this is a fantastic
06:28way to unlock your phone you can also use face unlock and stuff like that it's ip68 dust and
06:32water resistant as well too and like I said it's just really comfortable to hold now looking at
06:38the photos on the s10e you can definitely tell you know this phone has aged um a little bit now
06:45not a whole bunch um when the s24 comes out I'll do like some comparisons with the s10
06:51uh but you can you can tell that you know it's an older phone for sure especially when you take
06:55it out of any good lighting situation but this phone in um like outdoor lighting stuff like that
07:01it's fantastic guys I think it still looks really really good dynamic range uh the colors can be a
07:06little bit too like too colorful like almost like cartoonish um but I still think like this is
07:14really nice camera guys I mean you can see the shots for yourself if you're in good lighting
07:17you're still going to get a fantastic photo now the selfie cam on here um it does look a little
07:23bit soft um now that I'm looking at it compared to like you know just something newer even like
07:28an a54 is going to take a better selfie than that um but yeah I still think this this takes pretty
07:34decent photos especially for 114 dollars um I don't think that camera has aged horribly at all
07:40but yeah if you take it out of any type of good lighting condition it will get kind of soft
07:45um but overall I'm a huge fan of uh the camera when I think it still is pretty good it's a 12
07:52megapixel standard it's 16 megapixel ultra wide uh shoots in 4k 60 on the front and back and it
07:58has a 10 megapixel selfie like I said it gets the job done uh for the most part so I was actually
08:04pretty impressed actually just looking at these photos now the speakers on the s10e still sound
08:09pretty good
08:31so they actually have a good amount of bass and actually sound pretty crispy as well
08:35and also guys you do have pretty much all your same flagship features as far as reverse wireless
08:40power sharing samsung desktop support is on here um it's really not missing anything as when ui
08:47starts to become more updated so you know you'll probably start missing out on essential features
08:54but for right now you pretty much still have all the same stuff you have in an s23
08:58and like I was saying guys the phone has a pretty small battery 3100 milliamps it doesn't charge
09:04really that fast at all either and you know it's like 15 wire wire charging you do have wireless
09:10and reverse wireless um but like I said the screen on time if you bought this friend if you
09:15not this friend but if you bought the phone uh brand new uh you still get like 4 hours and 30
09:21minutes to screen on time um yeah so it's really not that great of a battery life uh it's a phone
09:28that you pretty much have to charge um you know at least twice a day so be sure to let me know
09:34what you guys think I'm actually pretty impressed with the s10e um just I was more impressed with
09:41like the pictures and the speed of this phone it's really not missing a beat um yeah so let
