00:00Good morning, let's first update our Minimonitor, Baguiong Christine.
00:06Earlier this morning, this was in the vicinity of Bauco, Mountain Province.
00:12The area in the Cordillera Administrative Region is being continuously monitored.
00:17This is causing strong winds of 95 kilometers per hour near the center.
00:21And the storm reaches 160 kilometers per hour.
00:25It is moving in the direction of Canluran, north of Canluran at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour.
00:30So we can see that Christine is having a big impact.
00:34And it is bringing rain in a large part of Luzon, almost the whole of Luzon and in some parts of the Visayas area.
00:42Aside from Christine, we are also monitoring a low-pressure area outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:49There is a high chance that this will become a storm in the next 24 hours.
00:57For Christine's truck, we can see that this area has strong winds.
01:03And this enclosed area is what we call an area of probability.
01:07So if there is a shift northward or southward, the storm can reach its center here.
01:15As we mentioned earlier, Christine had a landfall in the Isabela area at 12.30 a.m.
01:24It is also possible that the landmass of Christine within the day will come out.
01:30And it will come out in the Ilocos Region.
01:33This will continue to move in the direction of west-northwest over the Philippine Sea.
01:38And it is possible that the Philippine Area of Responsibility will come out tomorrow afternoon.
01:45So while the landmass of Luzon is changing, it is possible that it will weaken.
01:51And we are not removing the possibility that it will downgrade into a tropical storm category.
01:58But even if it weakens while the landmass is changing,
02:02when it comes back to the sea, it is also possible that it will recover again.
