Mike Giardi and Will Parkinson preview the Week 12 NFL slate, including chances for both the Patriots and the Jets to bounce back after tough losses last Sunday. Can the Jets push past their dysfunction and start to position themselves in the playoff picture? Can the Patriots finally defeat Tua Tagovailoa? Plus, 49ers or Packers?

00:00It is caught! Touchdown!
00:04The New England Patriots select Drake May.
00:08He's got the ball! And that's the ballgame!
00:12Welcome to the Week 12 edition of the All 32 Pod.
00:16Mike Giardi alongside Will Parkinson as always. We had a snow globe game last night in Cleveland.
00:20The Browns upset the Steelers who had been riding high. Great way to
00:24start the week off. Just a great setting for a football game.
00:28We've got a lot to get into today so I just want to remind you the show is brought to you by PrizePix.
00:32The exclusive Daily Fantasy partner of the CLNS Media Network.
00:36Game time. Best tickets, best prices to get you in to anything at any time.
00:40So we kind of have banned Will from talking
00:44about the Jets upcoming games because the Jets can't win games.
00:48But this week was once again on a bye week
00:52nonetheless. Absolutely bananas in New York.
00:56I know you've been able to do that
01:00on some of your New York based pods.
01:04Haven't done it here yet. But I do want to say
01:08if you've seen Good Will Hunting, there's the scene near the end of the movie.
01:12Matt Damon's character, Will by the way, and Robin Williams' character.
01:16The whole diagnosis and attention disorder
01:20and the fight pushes back from love. Will, we're here to love you today.
01:24It's not your fault. I'm giving you a big hug from across the state lines.
01:28And just go ahead, Joe Douglas, fired as general manager.
01:32It is clear now that it looks like not only a new head coach, obviously a new GM
01:36and a new quarterback. A big reset coming for
01:40the New York Jets this offseason. Yeah, a couple of different things. I want to kind of start off
01:44with obviously, look, this season could have gone a bunch of different ways. It ended up obviously going
01:48the worst case scenario. I think the other worst case scenario would have been Rogers
01:52getting hurt right away and then not knowing. I think that probably is the only other one that's worse
01:56because maybe Salah and Douglas keep their jobs another year. I won't go down
02:00the whole thing, the whole timeline, but a couple of things that stand out here.
02:04One, Joe Douglas did do some nice things as general manager. There's no question.
02:08We all like the talent on this roster. I still think part of the only reason
02:12this would be an appealing job going forward is actually some of the talent he built on this roster
02:16both young and more guys either approaching extensions
02:20who've gotten extensions, etc. If you look at that defense, there's
02:24as much as they haven't played well this year, and I think there's a lot to do with that,
02:28there's still five, six, seven really high-level starters on that defense going
02:32forward that are all 28 years old or younger, most of them actually
02:36early 20s. I have Quinnen, Quincy, Michael Carter,
02:40etc., guys on extensions. You have guys like Sauce Gardner approaching extensions,
02:44Jermaine Johnson, to name a few. You look on the
02:48defensive side of the football, frankly, not a lot of stuff actually
02:52is needed there outside of the obvious fix at
02:56quarterback or just figuring out how to get Rodgers healthy or
03:00better or cutting bait. I don't know. There's a lot of different ways you could go
03:04there, but the offensive line, Oluf Asinu,
03:0821 years old, will be there for quite a long time. The rest of that offensive line, if you bring back
03:12Morgan Moses, has actually played quite well on tape. It's a pretty decent group.
03:16The tight end group probably could use one more athletic body, but if you bring back
03:20Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert and stuff, serviceable group that won't cost you
03:24a lot of money. Receiver Garrett Wilson and Devontae Adams,
03:28this isn't a barren roster, so Joe Douglas did do a good job there, but
03:32when you miss on quarterback three times,
03:36he had Sam Darnold in a year where he had a lot of flexibility
03:40cap-wise and draft capital-wise and missed on literally everybody.
03:44The 2020 draft, if folks remember, Joe Douglas selected
03:48Mekhi Becton, and guys on the board there
03:52who, you know, you would have
03:56loved to... Chester Wirfs, one of the best tackles in football and has been pretty much since the day
04:00he walked in the league. Yeah, and then there was the trickle-down effect of
04:04by taking Becton, who was a left tackle only, he had missed on then the next
04:08year on left tackles, and then you let Morgan Moses walk out of the building the first time
04:12because you didn't want Mekhi Becton to play right tackle, and you had to play George Fant there, and
04:16there's the whole kind of saga there, and they take A.V.T., who's been
04:20a nice player for them, although hurt when they could have had Christian Derrissaw not giving up
04:24a third-round pick in that trade that became Nico Collins, and
04:28there's just a lot of that, and then ultimately, you miss on Sam Ray, who
04:32was not their guy, but was their guy, that regime. Gase was
04:36brought in, who Gase had to drive to Joe Douglas' house to give them
04:40that six-year $20 million contract to get him to come to the Jets.
04:44Huge deal, which he lived out that almost the entire contract, all but five weeks of it,
04:48and they take Zach Wilson, and obviously
04:52as anyone who knows this podcast knows, obviously a gigantic miss,
04:56and there's other misses in there, Denzel Mims, Elijah
05:00Moore, these are all top 40 picks. Big free agency signings, Carl
05:04Lawson over a Trey Hendrickson, who people thought Trey Hendrickson was going to come to the Jets. He didn't.
05:08He goes to Cincinnati. He's been amazing. As we know, the Jets
05:12signed Carl Lawson, Terrence's Achilles the first year, and it was virtually useless,
05:16and not only did they do that, but then Carl Lawson was a two-year deal.
05:20The third year, that was zero guaranteed dollars. The Jets then
05:24restructured Carl Lawson's deal and gave him $9 million guaranteed last year,
05:28and he didn't have his dead money this year. By missing on Beckton, they signed
05:32Dwayne Brown. For a lot of money, that doesn't work, which means they signed Tyron Smith,
05:36which didn't work. There's just a lot there, and I guess it comes down to this, Mike.
05:40You can do a lot of nice things. You can be a good scout,
05:44but if you don't ever fix the offensive line until this year,
05:48you miss on quarterback three times. You miss on head coach twice,
05:52and more importantly, you never have more than seven wins in a season.
05:56You're going to lose your job, and Woody Johnson meddled too much in the article. If anyone
06:00hasn't read it by Diana Rossini and Zach Rosenblatt of The Athletic, it's a good read.
06:04There's a lot of interesting nuggets in there. They let Bryce Huff walk
06:08for no apparent reason, and then they blame it on Woody Johnson getting
06:12involved last year at the end of the year, but Bryce was on a
06:16following the 2022 season, Bryce had had a really nice year in terms of pressures.
06:20Only three and a half stacks, but it was actually, anyone that watched football,
06:24we talked about this a lot. It was like, wow, this guy, if he gets, he's like playing
06:2820% of the stacks. If he plays any more, he's going to explode, and guess what?
06:32He's not going to win the next season. The Jets never offered him a contract, and that's bad work.
06:36He was on a restricted free agency tender. You could have traded him at any point. Last year,
06:40you could have traded him. They didn't do any of that. He walks for nothing.
06:44John Franklin Myers, kind of the glue of this defense that was
06:48so good for a couple years, really good against the run,
06:52could play all four spots, good pass rusher, but more
06:56importantly, like, tough as nails, kind of policed that locker room a little bit.
07:00The Jets eat $8 million and trade him to the Broncos
07:04for a 2025 fifth-round pick. John Franklin Myers is one of the reasons
07:08the Broncos' defense is so good this year. He's playing for the Broncos for a two-year
07:12deal, which was worth the money he was going to get for one year with the Jets.
07:16It's very crappy there. Sheldon Rankins, Quinton Jefferson, a lot of names. Joe Douglas kind of
07:20gutted this defensive line and trades for Hasan Redick, who's played four games,
07:24has had one game that he looks remotely decent.
07:28The Jets give a third-round pick for him. There's just a lot there,
07:32and I guess in synopsis, he didn't build a great team.
07:36He built a really good roster, and again, you miss on these key
07:40places, left tackle, quarterback, head coach,
07:44and the Amazon team did a graphic
07:48yesterday, and there's a lot of blame on Woody and blame on Aaron Rodgers
07:52and all these guys. Joe Douglas, 30, and 64 as general
07:56manager, which is almost 100 games in this day and era.
08:00And lastly, zero playoff appearances,
08:04but zero even winning seasons. That's where, to me,
08:08even if you threw Jamie and Sherwood in there,
08:12one guy received a multi-year extension under Joe Douglas
08:16as a homegrown player. That's Michael Carter II. He's the only guy
08:20that comes to mind as a surefire huge hit
08:24outside of the top 40.
08:28I'm sorry, and it is what it is. It's a shame it ended this way.
08:32I don't blame the Jets for firing him now. By week, he hasn't been doing anything.
08:36He's been checked out, and you don't blame Joe Douglas when Woody's meddling, but
08:40the Jets want to get a head start on their GM search. The season's obviously a wash,
08:44and here we are. It's
08:48nuts. We're in November. We're talking about Rex Ryan and new GMs.
08:52I understand what they're saying about
08:56getting ahead of it, but obviously the candidates,
09:00the desirable candidates, are all still working right now. So yes, you can backchannel. There's plenty
09:04of conversations that happen that quote-unquote shouldn't be happening.
09:08But whatever. To your point, Joe was checked out.
09:12Woody had frozen him out. The whole thing. It was over. Just get him out of the
09:16building. That's one less person you have to deal with. He doesn't have to worry about showing
09:20up anymore. He can kick his feet up. He's probably going fishing somewhere or something like that.
09:24It's remarkable where we started this season.
09:28You and I, and your
09:3212, 13, 14 wins, we were really talking that that had the potential with the way
09:36they built the roster. I think one of the big things for them this offseason is
09:40wherever they settle on, they've got to figure out a way to make that defense what
09:44it was. Whether, as you talk about, not having
09:48aside from probably the quarterback position, not having this overwhelming need, but it's like
09:52you built something that the last two years
09:56prior to this season, that was a top five defense. Balled out
10:00good quarterbacks, killed bad quarterbacks, but
10:04shut down good quarterbacks. The level of talent on all three levels
10:08of the defense, defensive line, linebacker level, defensive back
10:12high, as high as any defense that has in the league. You mentioned
10:16the age group, too, where you do have some of these guys that are still under your control.
10:20How do I get Sauce back to where Sauce was? How do I
10:24create this relentless front that's constantly pressuring quarterbacks and making life
10:28difficult? You've got to do that if you want to get through the AFC because we're talking about
10:32Patrick Mahomes, obviously, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson,
10:36and then maybe some of these young bucks. Maybe two years, three years down the line, we're talking
10:40about Drake Bayne. That's similar conversation. You've got to be able to do that.
10:44To me, that's what their identity should be. I don't feel like they have
10:48an identity this year. They have an identity.
10:52Seriously, their identity is, this group's really talented and will roll over
10:56if you punch them in the face hard enough.
11:00To be fair, sometimes this happens. We've seen this happen around the NFL.
11:04There's been talented teams many a times before the Jets and there will be
11:08the super team many a times after the Jets.
11:12There's a team that's constructed like this. The one thing
11:16I think the big takeaway this week has been Woody Johnson. Joe Douglas
11:20is fired and everyone's crying wolf. Woody meddled too much.
11:24Woody started meddling last year. He really meddled two years ago when they fired
11:28Mike LaFleur because Zach Wilson was horrible
11:32and Mike LaFleur got everything out of everybody else except Zach Wilson.
11:36They weren't going to give up on the quarterback yet so they had to give up. Someone had
11:40to roll. You covered that Mike. That's one of the first. We started really talking as much
11:44as we did. That Patriots-Jets game where Zach Wilson broke and we talked a million times about it
11:48and Devin McCourty said Bill was going to break his brain and he did. The Jets were 6-2.
11:52They finished that season 7-10.
11:56With the easy part of their schedule, majority of those games at home, all these teams going into the year
12:00that weren't supposed to be good. Obviously the Lions and Jaguars were better than they were supposed to be.
12:04Inexcusable. Someone had to roll and Woody
12:08started meddling then. That's already three years into his tenure. We're not
12:12talking year one or two where Joe Douglas drafted two starters
12:16over two years and signed basically nobody relevant.
12:20Yes, Woody meddles too much. There will be articles that will
12:24come out about his kids and a million other things. That stuff we'll cover when we get to it.
12:28The Jets are a desirable job for somebody. No, I think
12:32ownership is going to play a big role there and whether Woody decides to go the James Dolan route of being
12:36more hands off and it's worked for the Knicks obviously. Does he continue to be hands
12:40on in a David Tepper-like fashion? I don't know. We don't really know.
12:44It's anyone's guess at this point because this is what happens. Is Woody going to go overseas because
12:48of Donald Trump? How involved is Chris and his kids? There's so many questions.
12:52But a lot of owners
12:56are bad owners. I think the Chiefs,
13:00for all intents and purposes, the NFL survey goes out every year
13:04and the players. The Chiefs F across the board. But they hired the right
13:08coach, the right GM for the most part, even though
13:12whatever, and they have the right quarterback. The Patriots, Bob Kraft,
13:16unless I'm totally misremembering history, was not known as this amazing owner.
13:20But he got the head coach and the quarterback right.
13:24All these organizations, Jerry was a great owner
13:28in the 90s. Oh my God, Jerry Jones can't miss. Now Jerry's looked at as
13:32a horrible owner. If you get
13:36the head coach and GM right, if you're any organization, the Jets, we'll talk about the Saints this
13:40offseason. We'll talk about the Cowboys and the Browns and the Eagles and all these
13:44teams. Good ownership or bad ownership, if you hire the
13:48right people, it doesn't effing matter. And that's what it's going to come down to for the Jets, plain and
13:52simple. Definitely would like Woody to meddle less, but not
13:56for nothing. Lizard in the fourth for Jerry, Judy, and a huge contract.
14:00Does Woody know ball? I don't know.
14:04He won Devontae Adams. Some of these moves are
14:08the worst thing ever. Some of them are pretty awful, but some are not terrible.
14:12He benched Tony Adams.
14:16Not Michael Clemens though, just Tony Adams.
14:20This is the problem. I always wonder who
14:24they're listening to. Because you can't tell me Woody Johnson
14:28knows a hell of a lot about football, even though he's owned the football team for a long time.
14:32And so what leads him to say you have to bench
14:36Tony Adams? Who's in his ear?
14:40Some of that stuff is just remarkable. And to your
14:44point, we hear about the bad owners and the bad owners stepping in. It was
14:48obviously early in Kraft's tenure where he had to stopwatch out
14:52to Bucky Jones, I think it was, at some workout. It's like, dude, you're the
14:56owner of the football team. You made your money in the paper business.
15:00I get it. It's your money. It's your investment.
15:04In theory, you can do whatever you want, but if you want to be a good owner, you just
15:08have to find the right people to do the business for you.
15:12Basically, when that lined up in New England, it was hands off.
15:16You just go do your thing. And now they've clearly tried to get their football team
15:20back after they fired Bill. Yeah, they've got two hands on. And guess what? People don't like Bob Kraft anymore as much.
15:24No, they don't. So yeah, it's
15:28going to be a fascinating offseason. Look, as you mentioned, there'll be more stories.
15:32It'll be fascinating right on through. Hirings
15:36and firings and finding a coach and drafting and all these different things.
15:40Let's go to the Patriots at 3-8, visiting
15:44the Miami Dolphins, who still have some playoff hopes at 4-6.
15:48Dolphins have won two in a row with two-way
15:52quarterback. They are now a game and a half out of the seventh and final spot
15:56in the AFC. And they have the third
16:00easiest remaining strength of schedule.
16:04It is possible. I look at this one and I say,
16:08I love to just say, who's the more desperate team? And obviously
16:12the Patriots are trying to establish something here, and they've been a little bit frisky.
16:16But for the Dolphins, this is a critical game. Your season will end if you
16:20lose to the Patriots. And that's when you'll look back on and go, how the
16:24bleep did we lose to a team that I think the Patriots have lost their last four
16:28in Miami? I mean, it's been a house of horrors even when Belichick was
16:32the head coach and they were rolling with Tom Brady, but certainly has been the case
16:36lately. So how are they going to handle that? How are they going to handle the Patriots?
16:40How will they handle the speed? Because this is,
16:44I think as Christian Gonzalez was saying, it's probably the fastest team in the league, and I don't think you can
16:48really argue between A-chain and Mosterd and Hill
16:52and Waddell. I mean, they bring guys off the bench that can fly.
16:56In the past, they've had a decent plan with this.
17:00Belichick's last year, there was
17:04sort of keep everybody in front of you, force Tua to nickel and dime you.
17:08At times they tried to get aggressive and be physical,
17:12but this is a tough matchup, obviously.
17:16I just think the way Miami is playing right now,
17:20they're averaging 28 points per game since Tua's come back in the four
17:24starts that he's made. So it just feels like they're going to need to have
17:28a big offensive output in Miami, and I don't know that they're quite there
17:32just yet. This just makes you,
17:36I know what I said at the beginning of the year, and I'm sure I'm contradicting myself,
17:40it just makes it more frustrating when you get to see Drake made twice against
17:44Waddell. Just the way that game played out and how much
17:48I felt like even week two of Drake May, week one
17:52of Drake May starting would have looked so much better than when we did. I think this is
17:56an interesting test, as you mentioned, for New England.
18:00I think I feel like I say this every week with them, but this year
18:04is so much about how you respond positively and negatively.
18:08This is how much can you build on success?
18:12How much can you rebound from, I think the Patriots have been way more impressive to me
18:16this year than I was expecting, if I'm being honest.
18:20If you told me they won one or two games this year going into the year, I would have been like, I don't know,
18:24you might be right. Even if they win four or five, like three or four, they're probably kicking themselves,
18:28they didn't win already. They're playing competitively against some good teams, or at least talented
18:32teams. I'm just looking for a not Jacksonville effort
18:36from them. I'm looking for Drake May's built on every week.
18:40He might win rookie of the year, like all seriousness.
18:44Jayden Daniels has fallen off a cliff. I know he's hurt. Caleb's been
18:48so up and down, mostly down.
18:52Neighbors started out hot.
18:56My point being, there is real reason for optimism here.
19:00The Dolphins defense does not scare you,
19:04in my opinion, at least. Even the Bills game, they got so much credit. Oh my god, they played so well.
19:08It's like, give 30 points.
19:12You can run on this team, you can throw the ball around. I'd like to see a lot of Ramondre this week.
19:16Truly commit to,
19:20even if it doesn't work the first two or three drives, we're going to stick
19:24with the run game. Let Drake May get in some play action, some easy screen game
19:28maybe. Just get him in these easy spots where
19:32then you open it up a little bit as the game goes on, whether you're winning or losing.
19:36I'd like to see them continue to have that identity.
19:40Lastly, from a Dolphins point of view, look, they figured it out
19:44the last couple of weeks. If they want to shot the playoffs, you have
19:48got to win this game. I expect the Dolphins to win this game.
19:52They've had so much success over New England recently. The way the Jets used to get dominated
19:56by New England right now, it feels like the way Miami
20:00dominates New England and then Buffalo dominates Miami and the whole thing.
20:04The Jets and Bills kind of go back and forth.
20:08I'd like to see, can they do something different with Tua?
20:12I feel like Tua had Bill's number for whatever
20:16reason. I can't really figure out. It's like the anomaly.
20:20Young quarterbacks always struggle against New England. It's always been a thing.
20:24Immobile quarterbacks even worse.
20:28We talked so much last week, Mike. You talked so much about, I love the
20:32offensive plan. I love how they played. I love the heart the defense played with, but the defensive plan
20:36sucked. Can it be the heart and
20:40energy they played with last week and just something different, throwing different looks at
20:44Tua? The one thing I will say and the one thing that is still clear, and I'm
20:48not trying to be a dick here, Tua does not want to get hit. I don't blame him
20:52at all. We can say the same thing about Rodgers and all these guys. Brady didn't want to get hit.
20:56None of these guys want to get hit. I'd
21:00rather sell out. If you're going to sell out against somebody and you get beat by Tyreek,
21:04you get beat. If that's who's going to beat you, even though Tyreek's not been the same player this year for a million
21:08different reasons, get Tua on the ground early in the first quarter and be
21:12like, okay, this is the game we're going to play. If you're ready
21:16to strap up and do it, Tua's a tough dude.
21:20I'd like to see the Patriots get after the Dolphins a little bit and say, hey man,
21:24Mike McDaniel, I know you have a great running scheme. I want you to commit to that and I want you
21:28to beat us that way. You're not going to beat us with Tyreek and Waddle
21:32and all these guys. We're going to hit Tua, so you better be committed and ready to
21:36really go for it. Sometimes I think to myself,
21:40teams are so obsessed with it and then McDaniel will get away from the run. It's like
21:44Kyle too in San Francisco. I don't know. That's just
21:48where I land on this game. I expect the Dolphins to win, but I'd like to see the Patriots get a little
21:52spunky here. Some interesting points there.
21:56The offense has looked different with Tua. I don't just mean because they're scoring
22:00points, but it's almost in the way it's been designed. I think a lot
22:04of that revolves around the fact that they don't want Tua to get hit. You never want your
22:08quarterback to get hit, but I think it's even more so. Now all of a sudden you're seeing
22:12I think A-Chan has 23 catches in the last four
22:16games. Jono Smith all of a sudden is 16
22:20or 17 catches, 18 catches, something in the last four games.
22:24That's all designed
22:28simple swing passes, checkdowns, designed tight end screens,
22:32quick stuff over the middle because they want to get the ball out of his hands.
22:36Look, he's hitting 73.5% of his passes right now.
22:40He's leading the league in completion percentage, but it's clear
22:44that from that perspective, if you're the Patriots, to your point,
22:48be physical. Be physical at the line of scrimmage. Get your hands on those guys.
22:52Don't give Jono Smith a free release. Make sure there are eyes on A-Chan.
22:56Get a piece of Tyreek. Be physical. Jonathan
23:00Jones talked about it this week. He said, we've seen teams that can do it. They've done it before
23:04when they've had some success slowing them down by being physical with those guys.
23:08For whatever reason, Waddell in this new version of the offense
23:12has not been featured all that much. That's probably the kiss of death
23:16for the Patriots right there. He's going for 187 in two studies.
23:20They've had some issues with him in the past. I can't
23:24overlook him, but it is interesting. I'm curious to see the plan. I think it's a big week
23:28for DeMarcus Covington to get that defense right because Matthew
23:32Stafford, Sean McVay absolutely owned him last week.
23:36I want to touch on one more thing before we go.
23:40For those of you who followed the story,
23:44Alex Van Pelt spoke to us on Thursday. He was asked, hey,
23:48you finally used Marcus Jones, your nickel corner. Actually, probably
23:52now your second corner behind Christian Gonzalez. You finally used him on offense. He'd been
23:56a good offensive player in limited role as a rookie. He had, I think, 19
24:00snaps, but four touches and a touchdown. Long touchdown against the Bills.
24:04Then he got hurt early last year.
24:08Marcus, he texted me.
24:12I was like, who's this Marcus Jones? Because I figured Marcus would talk to me on the field
24:16if this was my Marcus Jones. He said, I'm Googling Marcus Jones as I ran across
24:20Marcus Jones in Green Bay. Why would he be texting me? Then one of the coaches said, no, no, no.
24:24It's our Marcus. He wants to talk to you. Marcus said, hey, I can help
24:28on offense. Here's the problem
24:32with that. It's great. I want to step forward. Marcus Jones, I can help.
24:36He can help. He's probably their best guy with the ball
24:40in his hands. You see that on his punt returns in particular.
24:44Alex Van Pelt didn't know that Marcus Jones
24:48had played offense for the Patriots.
24:52The immediate thing is dereliction of duty.
24:56How did you not know that? My brain spins ahead and says
25:00Gerard Mayo, DeMarcus Covington,
25:04Brian Belichick, Tyler
25:08Hughes, who's now the wide receiver coach. He was an offensive assistant that year in
25:122002. Who else? Mike Pellegrino, the cornerbacks coach. They were all
25:16here. How does nobody say to Alex, especially in the
25:20first five weeks when you're struggling to score points, hey, bud,
25:24this guy, and you see him on punt returns, he's freaking good with the ball in his hands.
25:28You might want to think about it. Play here or play there.
25:32Just like what they're doing now for Pop Douglas. Pop doesn't fit their scheme.
25:36He's not going to be out there a lot in the 12 personnel because they just don't want
25:40him outside. He's not that kind of player. He's a little dude.
25:44They're finding ways now the last couple weeks to get him four or five touches a game.
25:48You see it. He gets a little quick hitter. Boop. Makes a guy miss.
25:52It's 12, 15, 16 yards. Just like that. Easy little
25:56chunk play. To me, it just was
26:00pilot on top of the things that have
26:04fallen through the cracks this year with this new coaching staff.
26:08The old coaching staff wasn't very good at the end. That's why Bill's not here. He built a bad
26:12roster and it was a bad coaching staff. But now we're getting a young coaching staff,
26:16inexperienced coaching staff that's let far too many things
26:20happen this year that you go, man, if you just
26:24had your head out of your ass for a second, this wouldn't happen.
26:28I don't know. Just one of those things. I was getting ready
26:32for Boston Sports Journal to write a nice piece on Cole Strange making his comeback
26:36from the torn patella tendon and all the stuff that he's gone through, talked about
26:40how to relearn how to walk. This whole thing.
26:44I don't know. It's an uplifting story. The guy really had to work his ass off.
26:48Might be a few weeks away from playing, but it looks like he's going to get back on the field and play
26:52an actual game before the season's over. That's good for him. Then this happens
26:56and I'm like, man, I don't want to kill him, but how do you not
27:00talk about this? That's a huge breakdown in communication for an
27:04organization that preached under the new regime it was all about
27:08collaboration and breaking down silos. How do you not communicate
27:12when you're collaborating? That's just another reason
27:16in part why they're 3-8. Let's hear from game time now.
27:20We love going to football games. Obviously, that is our first sport, Will and I.
27:24Primary sport. We make our living off of it, but we love other sports too.
27:28It's always great to just be in the building and to get that vibe as a
27:32fan. We get it as covering the games. You still sometimes get
27:36like, oh man, it's a big game. I'm excited to be in the building for this.
27:40They have a new feature called Game Time Picks that makes getting tickets to see your favorite teams play live
27:44even easier. It filters out the fluff to show you all the incredible deals on great seats
27:48so you don't have to waste time searching through thousands and thousands of tickets.
27:52I've talked about it. You've talked about how we use them. I'm sure there are going to be plenty of times during this
27:56basketball season when I go see the best team in the NBA, even though they're not
28:00record-wise right now, the Boston Celtics, the defending NBA champs. Maybe, who knows,
28:04the Knicks come to town. I might have to partake so I can
28:08boo Carl Anthony Towns in person. All you've got to do here,
28:12folks, is you download the Game Time app, create an account, and use code CLNS for
28:16$20 off your first purchase. Terms apply again. Create the account. Redeem the code
28:20CLNS for $20 off. Download Game Time
28:24today. What time is it? Oh, it is game time.
28:28This is not a game we're going to talk about. Much like
28:32we did with the Jets, we're going to stay in the Jersey-New York
28:36area and talk about the Giants, who, we're taping this
28:40on Friday. It's about 1.15 in the afternoon. A short time ago, they
28:44released, granted, Daniel Jones, their starting quarterback in just
28:48his second year of that four-year $160 million extension.
28:52His release, he had been, after the bye week, they
28:56decided to bench him. There's a whole injury component to
29:00this, where if he's hurt in the next five or six games, they would owe him
29:04$23 million of his $30 million next year. You knew this
29:08was coming. They're a 2-8 football team. It's a bad football team. I'm not sure
29:12that you knew that Tommy DeVito was going to jump Drew Locke, who they signed in the offseason,
29:16to be the backup, but yes, that's the return of Tommy Cutlets.
29:20Jones, before he got his release, spoke to the media yesterday, on Thursday,
29:24and it was an emotional sort of thing. You could tell
29:28for as badly as it's gone, for the most part of his tenure,
29:32that he still liked being a Giant and trying to carry
29:36on that legacy here. Other than the
29:40first season with Brian Dable and Joe Shane, it didn't fly for him.
29:44I guess, to me, this isn't so much about Daniel Jones,
29:48Tommy DeVito, Drew Locke. This is about Brian Dable
29:52and Joe Shane, the general manager. It was about a month and a half ago,
29:56a month ago, John Mara, the owner, said, they're safe.
30:00They're secure. I've been getting rumblings
30:04that maybe that's not the case anymore.
30:08What do you need to see? Is there anything that you can see, Will,
30:12from here on out, that would make you, if you were John Mara,
30:16be convinced that, yes, these guys deserve another crack at this?
30:20A couple different things there. The Giants are very lucky that the Jets
30:24have been as bad as they have. Even though, I would argue, the Giants' dysfunctions
30:28there's just no expectation. There's been no expectations
30:32for a while. Look, Daniel Jones was overdrafted.
30:36I thought he had a really nice rookie year. If you really go back and look at it, it was very productive.
30:40He had a fumbling problem and a turnover problem, but he was much more Baker now,
30:44where it was high variance in terms of a lot of touchdowns, a lot of interceptions.
30:48I mean, 24 touchdowns, if I'm not mistaken, as a rookie.
30:52I think it was 12 or 13 games. Pretty impressive. The Tampa Bay game, the Danny Dimes
30:56thing. Jones got overpaid. It was really a two-year deal.
31:00After a 15-touchdown, I think he had 8 or 9 rushing yards
31:04as well, or 8 or 9 rushing touchdowns as well, but 15 touchdowns,
31:088 picks, and winning record. He had a really nice playoff game against Minnesota.
31:12The Giants were caught between a rock and a hard place. In reality,
31:16they should have probably just let him walk, given Saquon
31:20a two- or three-year deal at the time, and then drafted a quarterback. They obviously
31:24didn't do that. It was a bad quarterback class.
31:28Last year, they tried to get away from Daniel Jones. They
31:32tried to trade with the Patriots. We saw it on hard knocks. They wanted Drake May. They wanted
31:36Jayden Daniels.
31:40Here's my issue with how the Giants handled this thing. Very similar to
31:44it's really homegrown Russell Wilson. Huge dead cap hit.
31:48The injury guarantee. A couple of different things don't sit right with me.
31:52Why did you plan this long if he was
31:56the problem? Kind of arrogant, in my opinion,
32:00to continue to, week after week, send him out there knowing
32:04he's an issue. No one has any bones about it. He's been an issue
32:08this year. But if you're so comfortable, why are you so comfortable
32:12being bad again? That's, to me, where I struggle.
32:16How arrogant are you that you think your job is so safe
32:20after a year in which you picked in the top six?
32:24We talked about the Jets. The arrogance.
32:28Not for nothing, there's very real chance that come
32:32January 8th or January 9th is Black Monday in the NFL.
32:36What if Bill Belichick starts really
32:40getting in people's ear with the Maras and the Tish's and says,
32:44I take this job. If it's open, I'm just telling you, I'll take it.
32:48I'll fix this thing. I'll draft the quarterbacks.
32:52Cam Ward or Jalen Miller, whatever it is.
32:56Quinn Ewers, whoever the guy is. We're going to go sign Darnold and we'll bridge it.
33:00I can win 11 games with this team next year. Watch.
33:04You're all of a sudden out of a job. That's what's going to happen.
33:08I think I like him a little better as an OC than I do as a head coach.
33:12He's one coach of the year. I'm not crapping on him.
33:16I like Joe Shane. I like the process generally.
33:20Deontay Banks, bad signing.
33:24I don't know.
33:28Evan Neal, colossal bust. Andrew Thomas gave him the big deal.
33:32He's played seven games since they gave him the deal in two years.
33:36That's not great.
33:40For context,
33:44they'll get out of $78 million they owed him over the next two years.
33:48$22 million dead cap next year.
33:52They'll get out of the $23 million injury guarantee.
33:56There's $67 million in dead cap the Giants will accrue for this.
34:00It's the same as cutting him in March, I guess.
34:04There was a moment there where I think from what I saw,
34:08at least from some reputable people, Jones was willing to waive his injury guarantee.
34:12You had him run the scout team yesterday. That doesn't really bother me.
34:16We all played football. It happens. I was hurt when I was hurt in college.
34:20It's what you do, right? Hey, you're not playing this week.
34:24Can you go through, walk through, and stand there as a body? Sure.
34:28It's more that they cut him.
34:32I mean, I was at the table today. We didn't expect this.
34:36Do you want the guy to... What?
34:40That's to me where, buddy, I don't...
34:44That comment made no sense to me whatsoever.
34:48You're benching the guy. Everybody knows you're benching the guy.
34:52You're not going back to him. You signed Tim Boyle to be the third quarterback.
34:56Daniel Jones, most teams
35:00in this situation just say, just go home.
35:04You don't have to come to the building. You're still going to get your check.
35:08But we don't need you playing safety on the scout team.
35:12We're not going to do that. We'll give you that respect
35:16that we're not going to do that to you no matter how it worked. And for him to say that,
35:20you didn't think he was going to go to tomorrow who he has a good
35:24relationship with and say, hey, John, what the hell?
35:28Give me a chance to start someplace fresh.
35:32You're going to cut me anyway, to your point. The money doesn't really matter.
35:36You're still going to be on the hook for what you're going to be on the hook for.
35:40So, yeah. But there's an interesting part
35:44of it then that says to me, again, sort of as Mara
35:48is starting to waver on the whole table, Shane gets another year
35:52by granting Daniel Jones the release.
35:56I don't know. The Bill Belichick to the Giants
36:00thing would be fascinating in a million ways.
36:04I've heard people say that there would be no appetite for him coming back
36:08like this in years past. But now that your franchise has bottomed out again
36:12and to your point, probably in a top five position again, maybe
36:16who knows the way things are going, you end up with the number one pick in the draft.
36:20Bill will turn that, by the way, into a one, two,
36:24three threes, four fours, five fives
36:28in 2026, 28, 29. But
36:32that's a lot of capital to play with and a chance to sort of
36:36if you hit it right, to rebuild pretty quickly.
36:40I don't want to say the Giants are irrelevant,
36:44but as you said, they just keep
36:48losing. They had this one little blip with
36:52Abel in the first year, but what was it before that? What is it now?
36:56I don't know that we've even talked about the Giants once since the season
37:00started on the spot. Maybe Malik Neighbors.
37:04Maybe at some point we were just talking about how good the rookie class had started off and maybe Neighbors
37:08got a mention. But as a group, I know, as a group, we never said
37:12the Giants game is a big game this week. Nope, they haven't played a big game since
37:16Abel's first year. Daniel Jones was just listed on the
37:20Cowboys roster. People are getting, well, yeah, there's a lot
37:24of buzz about it. I just
37:28Googled it. If you search Daniel Jones Cowboys
37:32on Google, the Cowboys website pops up
37:36with roster Daniel Jones' name listed. They must have deleted it,
37:40but it's still up. It's quite comical.
37:44I would love nothing more than Daniel Jones to start against the Giants
37:48in seven days or six days' time.
37:52Yeah, someone is messing around because he's
37:56on waivers until four on Monday. And no one's
38:00obviously going to take that contract. So he's going to pass through and then
38:04not a real possibility. Danny Dimes versus Tommy
38:08Kutlitz on Thanksgiving. I just wanted this
38:12one last thing on the Giants because I want to move on to a couple of these games.
38:16The Tommy DeVito thing, I don't mean to be a hater here, and I'm going to sound like I'm being
38:20an ass, but I get it. He's awful. It's a fun
38:24story. It was a fun story last year.
38:28Him beating the Patriots last year and the Packers cost the Giants
38:32Drake May and Jayne Daniels.
38:36If I'm Drew Locke, I'm red hot. I'm like, you should have cut me
38:40too. Why am I here? I'd ask for my
38:44release this morning. I could go play for the Raiders right now. I could
38:48go sign with whoever. I don't know. I could go sign with whoever and
38:52hope that I can latch on as a backup. I can go sign with Philly right now and say, I know
38:56I'm better than Kenny Pickett. I want to make the playoff roster and God
39:00forbid something happens to Jalen Hurts, I got you. What are we doing?
39:04Fun story. This felt like
39:08my conspiracy is like Dable and Shane want
39:12Drew Locke to be able to play because it's like, see, we couldn't do anything
39:16about these awful quarterbacks. It's all ownership's fault.
39:20What do you want us to do? You signed Drew Locke to be the backup when you knew
39:24you were going to have a problem this year or you knew it was a potential problem.
39:28There's no way that Brian Dable watched
39:32the tape of these two and was like, yeah, Cutlet's time.
39:36There's no shot. Quick tweet from
39:40Dan Duggan who covers the Giants, the athletic. His read on the Daniel Jones
39:44release is mutually beneficial, but the Giants weren't going to make the first move.
39:48Jones was fine showing up every day and going through the motions as QB4.
39:52They would have gone along with that, but once he asked out, they obviously were going to grant him
39:56that wish. So there is that.
40:00The Giants will certainly be in the market for a quarterback
40:04probably too this offseason and
40:08like a coach and a general manager as well. Let's go to
40:12what I think, for me at least, is the
40:16game of the week, and some would argue this, but 49ers at Packers.
40:20Packers came off the bye, didn't look great.
40:24Have to block a field goal against Chicago to win the game.
40:2849ers obviously have now lost
40:32three of their last four losses by three points or fewer. They lose another division game
40:36eight to the Seahawks last week. And now
40:40Brock Purdy, limited in practice on Thursday
40:44with a shoulder, unknown if he goes.
40:48Nick Bosa, Trent Williams also did not practice on Thursday.
40:52Bosa doesn't appear like he's going to be playing this week.
40:56At 5-5, even though they're just
41:00a game out of first place in the division, although they are
41:04what's their record here in the division? I think they're one in three in the division.
41:08So you're going to lose pretty much every tiebreaker in the division.
41:12They got to start stacking some wins together. We keep expecting it to turn
41:16and it's not turned for them. They're not
41:20the same football team. I think you talked about this when we did the preview
41:24pod way back in August. They played a lot of football.
41:28They're relying on a lot of guys that have been injury prone in the past. You're seeing
41:32those injuries pop up. You're seeing sort of the attrition of playing all that football pop up.
41:36And it's, is this it? Is this like the last hurrah for
41:40this group? And is it just going to go away with like a sputter?
41:44Or are they going to be able to make one last push and find themselves in the postseason dance
41:48in January? Yeah, there's a couple things there. I think
41:52this is like one of those odd games where both
41:56teams, I think the expectations vary for very varying reasons.
42:00Both teams have dealt with a myriad of injuries.
42:04This game feels bigger for the Niners.
42:08It's weird because the division for the Niners, even if they lose this
42:12is still gettable. But you get to a point where it's like
42:16is this just the end of an era
42:20here? A lot of talented guys.
42:24Are we next year talking about
42:28hey, a full, full reset and like let's
42:32at least kind of sell off almost all of our big pieces. We take one bad year
42:36and then we go back to it because we know we can. I've seen a lot of talk of
42:40is this it for Kyle Shanahan? There's a lot
42:44of Andy Reid in Philly vibes where it's like jeez, how'd you not get, you know, how'd they never
42:48win a title? And these teams are amazing every year. And you know, the big game
42:52like always the big game conversations. The late game stuff with Andy Reid.
42:56The late game stuff with Kyle Shanahan. Offensive mind. A lot of parallels.
43:00Letting Kyle Shanahan walk out of that building would be
43:04idiotic and he's more than just the head coach
43:08in that building. But
43:12there's a lot of frustration with this Niners fan base. I think built up over a six, seven year
43:16period here where they've almost won three titles and
43:20they haven't. And it's like just you almost sometimes you hit
43:24a wall. It's like they did such a good job of coming back from that NFC title
43:28loss two years ago where they started off a similar way
43:32they started off this year. But I just, they're not as good
43:36defensively this year. They're not as good offensively. They've got
43:40so many guys that have gotten hurt. The depth is not the same.
43:44They're losing these games they shouldn't be losing. I don't know.
43:48They might surprise us and they come out on Sunday afternoon and they look
43:52fantastic. But something tells me this might be the
43:56like Debo's probably done here after the year. McCaffrey's got I believe
44:00one more year if I'm not mistaken. They're going to have to pay Purdy at some point.
44:04I don't know. Trent Williams
44:08kind of feels year by year. It's like
44:12I don't know. I'm just at a loss with the Niners because I feel like
44:16I thought they'd regress to like ten and seven. But I also didn't think McCaffrey would miss
44:20a year. Now he's come back. He doesn't have the same
44:24burst. Aiyuk obviously done for the year. Debo is not the same player anymore.
44:28Trent Williams is amazing still. But we know he's probably
44:32I don't know. Something's off obviously. And then you look at
44:36Green Bay and it's like they're not going to catch Detroit in my opinion unless
44:40maybe things could happen. I don't know. They got him one more time obviously.
44:44This feels like if you're Green Bay. This is huge. If I can
44:48quasi know I'm over the Niners no matter
44:52what happens the rest of the year. You know what I mean? That's to me. And I also
44:56feel like when you look at Green Bay and I just think
45:00it's looked good. It hasn't looked
45:04unbelievable. I know they're seven and three. But it felt like they got a little
45:08lucky last weekend. The Lions felt like they steamrolled
45:12them. It was close against Jacksonville. It probably
45:16shouldn't have been. They had Niners, Dolphins, and Lions.
45:20Not easy. You could easily lose two
45:24of the three. And all of a sudden you're staring at like are we
45:28going to be a ten and seven team and be a six seed seven? They don't want that.
45:32They want to be the five. You're going head
45:36to head with Minnesota who's already beaten you.
45:40Not for nothing Minnesota's got harder games
45:44but Minnesota's got Chicago.
45:48Arizona tough but good match up honestly for Minnesota
45:52the way they play physically. Atlanta
45:56I don't know what team you're going to get with Atlanta. Chicago again. Seattle.
46:00I don't know. This game's juicy but
46:04I felt like going into the year this could have been a title game preview.
46:08I don't know. The Niners could get hot. They have the pedigree to do so and Green Bay did it last year.
46:12This was literally an elite playoff game last year.
46:16Something doesn't feel great. I'll say
46:20that either. I don't know if Detroit's just skewed my brain so much this year
46:24where everybody looks like crap because Detroit's looked so good.
46:28The Niners need this one. I know it's in Green Bay but
46:32five and six is just and two losses.
46:36You start to really look at it and it's like man I don't know.
46:40I know the Rams have Philly this week but there's a good chance
46:44it's seven and four, six and five, six and five and you're sitting at five and six
46:48and having lost in division games you're kind of in a bad spot. You're not making a wild
46:52card. Maybe you do but probably not at nine and eight. I don't know if this is the year
46:56to get in if you keep losing these tiebreakers.
47:00On the Packers, doesn't look like J.R. Alexander's going to play this week.
47:04P.C. Altair and his knee might be multiple weeks for him. I do want to point out
47:08their offense has gone 20 or fewer points in back-to-back and that was splitting the bye week.
47:12Kind of felt like last week they'd come back even though Chicago's defense is pretty good and
47:16after the bye week be refreshed and be explosive but we're still waiting
47:20on the second half of Jordan Love from last year to show up this year.
47:24Just a few numbers for you. One touchdown pass over
47:28the last three games for Love. Obviously been dealing with the groin in addition to
47:32the knee thing. Per NextGenStats
47:36he is 31st out of ranked passers on third downs.
47:4034th versus man-to-man. Dead last against the Blitz
47:44and 32nd in tight window throws.
47:48He's got to lock in
47:52if they're going to be what we thought they could be. At various points
47:56there's been a couple moments this season where we're like, oh yeah, that's the team
48:00that's going to be really dangerous. Again, to your point, plenty of football left
48:04still can get dangerous. If he gets hot they're going to have the chance to be that team because
48:08he was that good in the second half last year.
48:12As important as it is for San Francisco with the way their defense is, this feels like a game where
48:16Jordan could find his mojo back again and if he didn't
48:20I'd start to worry if I was Green Bay.
48:24That's just my thoughts on that. We'll get to the last one here.
48:28I never thought that we'd be talking about this game in week 12. The 6-4 Cardinals
48:32going to visit the 5-5 Seattle Seahawks in Seattle.
48:36The Hawks win this game and the Rams lose to Philly.
48:40Seattle would descend to first place. Arizona currently in first place.
48:44Arizona 2-0 in the division. Seattle 1-2 in the division.
48:48Critical on a bunch of different fronts. By the way, the second best record in the division
48:52in terms of divisional play are the Rams. Your guys at 2-1
48:56in the division. As I mentioned earlier, Niners 1-3 in the
49:00NFC West. I look at this one. Arizona's
49:04dangerous. They're a dangerous team. They're playing well.
49:08They're playing confident. I still don't love their defense, but the way their offense is
49:12playing, the way Kyler's playing, it's been pointed out in a bunch of different places.
49:16Orlowski's gone bananas for Kyler. I think he's playing
49:20the best quarterback in the league right now. I actually think this comes down to
49:24can Arizona run the football in Seattle? Arizona's been great running the
49:28football this year with obviously Kyler and what he brings to the table, but James Conner.
49:325-1 when Conner goes over 100 scrimmage yards in a game.
49:3668 forced missed tackles. That leads the league as well
49:40for Conner. They're averaging 150 yards per game. Seattle gives
49:44up a ton per game. They haven't yet fixed their problems. They've already
49:48bounced Tyrell Dotson, one of their starting linebackers. He's out. They made a trade
49:52for a DT. They're doing all sorts of different things here to try to shore up that defense
49:56as Mike McDonald tries to find the right pieces. It's going to be loud
50:00there. This game has a lot of juice.
50:04Honestly, I don't know which Seattle team's going to show up because they're not as
50:08good as the 3-0 start, but they weren't as bad as the
50:12stretch that they had. Geno leads them to a big win last
50:16weekend against San Francisco in San Francisco. Puts the fans to
50:20sleep. It's very nice. This was a fascinating game to me.
50:24I'm really curious to see what Gannon's got in his second
50:28year versus what McDonald's got in his first year as head coach. If Kyler can continue
50:32this trend, if Geno Smith can answer the call because he's certainly capable.
50:36Both teams kind of big swing game, as you
50:40mentioned. You go to 7-4 if you're Arizona with a chance
50:44of the Rams got a really tough game and the Niners got a really tough game.
50:48You take a two-game lead in the division out of nowhere.
50:52Obviously, we saw the Cardinals eviscerate the Rams
50:56in Week 2. I'm interested to see this game from
51:00two point of views. One, you mentioned the coaches. I feel like Seattle
51:04might be done. I'll talk about this, but
51:08starting to take on his identity. They're starting to play a little bit closer
51:12to what he's looking for,
51:16obviously. Then I look at the other
51:20side of the coin. In Arizona, first time all year, starting to get a lot
51:24of praise. They beat the piss out of the Jets.
51:28Things calmed down. Kyler's in New York creating pizza
51:32with some random dude and the whole thing.
51:36I got a little expectation. Now it's a little bit of
51:40first time all year, you're the hunted, not the hunter.
51:44I'm curious how that's going to look.
51:48I always think there's big swing points and seasons.
51:52I just wondered to myself,
51:56with Seattle, this was like a, hey, you weren't supposed to win this game. You eked it out out of nowhere.
52:00Who are you as a team? Arizona,
52:04Rex Ryan's going on PMT today talking about how
52:08they're one of the five scariest teams to go try to win a title this year because of the physicality
52:12they play with and all these different things. Dude, we were not talking about
52:16Arizona this way four or five weeks ago.
52:20I want to see how each team responds.
52:24Both of these quarterbacks are very
52:28feels like just a lot of this. It's a lot of up and down.
52:32Mostly up this year for Kyler, obviously.
52:36Gino's been a little over the place. Which guy doesn't make the crucial turnover?
52:40Which team establishes a physical presence in the line of scrimmage
52:44in this football game? I'd be really impressed if Arizona takes another one here.
52:48They're 7-4. They've now beaten everyone in the division.
52:52They've got some good wins. Even their losses.
52:56Looking back, the Buffalo game, they actually looked really good in the first half early on
53:00in the year. You look back at some of these games, you're like, oh, you smoked Chicago, smoked
53:04the Jets, smoked the Rams. The Niners game was exciting.
53:08I'm excited for this one. I just think there's a classic NFC North.
53:12I mean, NFC West. I apologize. Establish a line of scrimmage.
53:16Kind of beat each other's face in a little bit. And which quarterback makes the least mistakes.
53:20Yeah, I agree 100%. It's a fun game. It could really be
53:24for Arizona, sort of a statement type win. Even though, again,
53:28Seattle's 5-5. Just in terms of where the program is headed and how they played
53:32this season. Just quickly,
53:36who do you got in the Harbaugh Bowl? Jim or
53:40John? I'm going to go Chargers.
53:44I just, feels like the Ravens
53:48are just in that, there's one, again, I know it's always one of two things,
53:52but the Ravens finally figured out
53:56the pass defense last week, but they didn't play Justin Herbert. And I feel
54:00like the Chargers, the line of scrimmage, are just as physical as the Ravens are.
54:04And I, I don't know. I just,
54:08does Jesse Minter have something in his bag for a guy that, he probably called
54:12it Mike McDonald, like, hey man, you went against this guy in practice, what do I do?
54:16What am I going to do here?
54:20Yeah, I don't know. The Chargers need this game a little more, I feel like.
54:24Just because, again, not as talented of a team. You got to get any type of win.
54:28You're the Chargers. We talked about them, because they win a playoff game. You win this one,
54:32you're kind of in the driver's seat for that five seat.
54:36Now you're like, ooh, I could be Houston on the road.
54:40Now another team upsets another team. I'm not going to have to play
54:44Kansas City. I don't know. I just, I like, Chargers feel
54:48hungry right now, and I feel like they almost Chargered themselves last week, and the fact
54:52that they didn't gives me confidence that maybe they've, that was a
54:56ooh, not the same old Chargers. No, no, we survived.
55:00Joey Bosa was making that point, like, let's not be the same
55:04old Chargers, and there was a moment there where it looked like it was going in that
55:08direction, and they pulled it out. I like the way you're thinking
55:12there. I'm a little down on the Ravens right now and the way they're playing and their inability to
55:16sort of clean some of the things up. It's time for prize picks, but before we
55:20do prize picks, I should tell you what prize picks is all about. It's the best place to get
55:24real money sports action. With over 10 million members and billions of dollars in award
55:28winnings, prize pick has made daily fantasy sports accessible to all.
55:32Just pick more or less than at least two players and up to six to win up to 100
55:36times your cash. Like
55:40James Cook, you think, you know, in pass, he goes off. So now who's the guy
55:44this week? Who's the guy who's going to score a touch? Derrick Henry. You think more than
55:48half a touchdown for Derrick Henry seems to find the end zone each and every week. Lamar going to have a bounce
55:52back game. You're going to take more passing yards, more rushing yards for him. All these things you sort of can
55:56consider and play with and then run with on prize picks. So download the
56:00app today. Use the code CLNS to get $50 instantly. After you play your first

56:12$5 bet, wager, whatever you want to call it.
56:16Scratch that. I don't think I'm supposed to use those words.
56:20Prize picks folks run your game. And here we go. Drum roll.
56:24I've got, I've got four for you.
56:28Justin Herbert.
56:32Rushing yards more than 18.5. I think you've seen it. He's healthy
56:36now and he is willing and able to run the football and run it effectively.
56:40Play man, you turn your back on him. He doesn't like what he sees and
56:44quite frankly, some of his receivers have a hard time getting open. Tuck it and run.
56:48He had some big runs against Cincinnati.
56:52DeAndre Swift against the Minnesota defense. I'm going to take the
56:56less than 55.5 rushing yards for him.
57:00They've been sort of a stop and start team all year long with the run game.
57:04And a couple more from that Patriots Dolphins game. Drake made more than 221.5
57:08yards passing. I think they're kind of at that stage now where they're just letting them be
57:12free a little bit more. Let them launch the football. And I think there's going to be
57:16a need to score points in this game. And I think that's going to
57:20necessitate him
57:24Chuck on the rock and finally Hunter Henry more than 44.5 yards
57:28receiving. What do you got? Drake made more
57:32in terms of rushing yards. I just think that similar to you
57:36I just like the way he runs the football
57:40and I think he'll do more than enough
57:44of that. I also like Kyler Murray more rushing yards. I think this is
57:48going to be a game where he's going to have to use his legs
57:52create a little bit and kind of
57:56get out there and kind of do some
58:00good different stuff there. I also, Christian Watson
58:04less receiving yards. Sorry, less receiving yards.
58:08I just feel like the Niners need this game so badly
58:12and I feel like the weather and snow in there
58:16and the whole thing. I don't know. I could see this being a smash mouth
58:20Kyle being like, I don't know how long McCaffrey's going to be here.
58:24Here's 67 touches and we're going to control the clock.
58:28Those are my three. Watson less receiving yards.
58:32Drake made more rushing yards. Kyler Murray more
58:36rushing attempts as well. Drake made more passing. Hunter Henry more
58:40receiving. DeAndre Swift less rushing. Justin Herbert
58:44more rushing. And that is going to put a wrap on this week's
58:48preview edition of the week 12 of the NFL football season. The All
58:5232 Pod. Remember to like, listen, subscribe, rate, review.
58:56Do the whole nine yards. You'll be helping Will and I out

59:04the new pitchers.
